Came here on a Friday and it was surprisingly not too busy! You can sit wherever you like no need to wait to be seated. Th Nachos as an appetizer was solid with sour cream and extra jalapeños. The drinks are smooth and certain drinks are only $5! I ordered the 8 boneless wings in BBQ Jerk Flavor but they came out dry I was hoping for saucy wings :/ The Sweet Potato Fries are amazing tho! The Garlic Shrimp Mac & Cheese lacked flavor. Worth checking out once if in the area in my opinion. read more

You dont have to worry about getting drunk here! Slowest service ever! Saturday night 1 bartender and 2 others that just walked around behind bar and did nothing. We had a fantastic Wednesday dinner at Roadhouse 38. Our first time visit. The restaurant is very, very clean. There were a few customers at the bar but otherwise we were the only customers eating dinner at the regular tables. I like their menu. Many appetizers, many hamburger options, many wraps and many other choices. Check their daily specials. I ordered their famous steak sandwich. It was perfect. For me, ordering a steak sandwich always carries with it a bit of a risk of getting a tough or over cooked steak or under-seasoned steak. This sandwich was none of those. It was tender and well seasoned. I chose onion rings as my side dish. There is a small up charge for them. I could continue describing our dishes but this review is getting too long. I do want to mention that they have live music on certain days. Check their schedule. Our experience was worth every one of the 5-stars. read more

If you watch How I Met Your Mother, Roadhouse 38 has become my MacLaren's Pub. Nothing super fancy, but it's clean, casual and awesome. They've got darts, pool table, slots, plenty of TV's and a huge projector in the dining area that's suitable for large groups. Customer service is always great, they're attentive and friendly. My favorite day to come is Sunday for the $1 wings and shrimp!!!!! The deal is too good to pass on. I've tried the sweet chili, lemon pepper, Jamaican jerk, bang bang, and Peach Moonshine BBQ flavors, and the peach moonshine bbq is definitely my fave for wings and bang bang for fried shrimp. Been here numerous times and I appreciate that the crowd is never rowdy or wild. Good people, good food and good vibes all around. I've never had a negative experience here. We keep coming back to try and give this place another shot. I don't k ow how to explain myself enough that the cook doesn't know what he or she is doing. The sheer amount of salt poured onto fries or burgers is seriously nauseating and inedible. Also the lack of condiments on the table is just tacky. Why does my burger always come out charred like a hockey puck? Hearing the waitstaff explaining why the place is so dead on a Friday night was sad. Change in ownership again. There were several table of adults cursing at each other from across the room and that made me super uncomfortable. Please ask your chef, cook etc to lay off the salt before he, or she kills someone. It's a huge waste of food when it's sent back or thrown away. Also it would be nice if I could enjoy this place again without the seedy swearing drunk patrons. read more

The Service was great. The food was not. I had a burger that was ordered medium well and it was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. They definitely are using frozen beef patties. Came here on a Sunday night. There was nobody greeting at the front door, just a sign to seat yourself. I walked by multiple tables that were all filthy and not wiped down. There was food on the floor. The waitress messed up the orders completely. It's burgers ... how do you mess up burgers. I couldn't have​ asked for a better place for my daughter's graduation party. We had a buffet style with pasta, beef, salad, chicken marsala. couldn't have asked for better service from the staff and the owner Amber. We were able to put up decorations, move tables around for our convenience, whatever we needed. There was enough food for an army. The price for everything once said and done was far cheaper then any other establishment we looked into, even if we would've bought the food ourselves. I met a couple coworkers here for an early dinner. I've driven past this place everyday since they've opened & had been wanting to check it out. Our waitress, Rosalia, was really friendly & checked in on us multiple times. I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad; my coworkers got a Buffalo chicken wrap & chicken tenders with fries. With exception of bar and a few tables, place was empty even though it was an inviting atmosphere with exceptional service both from the bartender and servers. Drinks prices were exceptionally inexpensive compared to other restaurants and bars in the area. Food was mediocre - prepared okay but an inexpensive quality from the start. Apps were $7 years during Happy Hour - homemade cheese curds were lightly battered with most of the batter still in the fryer, I think. Southwest egg rolls - frozen with no flavor, chips and salsa ... ok. Fish Fry on special was greasy on the outside and mushy on inside. Patty Melt was - well - a patty melt ... not much you can do wrong with that. Inexpensive dinner overall but won't be back. Super super loud in here, we got the nachos with ground beef and they were horrible. The beef had literally no flavor to it at all. It was like cooked beef with some liquid cheese on it and I think cilantro-- no lettuce, no tomato-- very plain, very boring. Our first time here. I had traditional wings with Peach Moonshine BBQ sauce and Garlice Parmesan. It is absolutely delicious. Sauces are homemade. My son had the Moonshine burger. Ordered through uber eats boneless wings. They gave me traditional wings. The two don't even sound the same. And it wasn't like I ordered over the phone where a mistake could easily be made. Disappointed in the service. Well At least uber eats gave me a refund. To make things worse. It was supposed to be 10 wings and I got 8 and weren't cooked all the way through. I hate making reviews like this but sometimes they need to be done. Food was ok. Priced too high. Service was satisfactory. My biggest complaint was when the bill came. This is the second time in a week I have seen this practice done: $xx.xx if you pay with cash, $yy.yy if you pay with credit card (more than cash because of a credit card convenience fee). I know the DMV used to do this, which I also complained about. It is my understanding being a merchant card processor that you are not supposed to charge the customer fees associated with processing credit cards. While I maybe wrong about charging for credit card fees and/or playing word games calling them convenience fees, the problem arises that YOU the restaurant industry (along with nearly ever other industry) has allowed US the customers to become acclimated to credit card use at your establishments. If you want to disrupt the status quo and have two totals on your bills then tear off the signs on your door implying Visa, Mastercard, etc are accepted. Sure you maybe able to process these cards but charging a fee for them no longer makes it acceptable - see what I did there. I feel the restaurant industry should be the last place this practice is to be allowed. Now you get that customer that wants to save the $2.34 paying in cash would allow but does not have enough cash to cover a good tip, now the waitstaff will receive a few percentages less than what is acceptable because of the owners choice to charge the customer for something they have been paying for. Something that has been in practice for decades! Likely longer than these persons have been managing (or even longer than they have been able to work!). These managers (and some people reading this review) might say something like "well if the waitstaff gets a smaller tip because of the amount of cash the customer has because of this gross change in status quo, it's only a couple percent." Well for those that do not know the merchant fees to process credit cards is only a few percent, 2-4%. Either Gene and Jude's your business model so there are no surprises or stop this unorthodox practice! Waitstaff already have too much to worry about without having to wonder if they are going to get stiffed on a tip because the owner is trying to save 2%! read more

I invited a few friends to meet for lunch at Roadhouse 38 and I'm sure I made the right choice. Our server - Denny - was quick witted, friendly and friendly to all. Our food arrived and everything was made to order. No complaints - nothing was incorrect. Food was very tasty. From my very simple chicken quesadilla to chicken tenders, reuben, nachos....I'm not sure what the guys at the other end of the table ordered, and they are the picky ones. Everyone had nice comments about the food and we all fell in love with Denny. We will be back - as soon as we can all gather together again.
