    Onion Ring Tower
    Alano V.

Came here for a quick dinner after shopping nearby! Cheese curds were so bomb, we're from WI so we werent sure if they were going to be good. We got the onion ring tower but was not impressed, we didn't even finish it! We also got the sliders that were really good. I got their lavender rosemary martini which was pretty good. My cousin tried the virgin piña and liked it. Waitress was super great, came and checked in on us and was really nice. It was super busy so we had to wait a bit. Very much sports bar vibes but liked the energy. A bunch of different seating, very big space!!

Salmon with veggies and potatoes, delicious sweet sauce was served on the side.

Visit date: 11/12 I had an early dinner here solo while traveling for work. It was 5pm and the place was PACKED! I couldn't believe it, but it was likely the great happy hour specials on food and drink. Definitely packed for a weeknight at 5! I ordered a beer at the bar and then placed a carryout for the teriyaki salmon. The different servers at the bar were great. Very friendly (even given they were slammed!). The staff were good natured, professional, and efficient. My food was delicious too! They packaged the salmon carryout nicely, I really enjoyed it!

Though majority of the food is greasy and frozen food, this place has good choices for appetizers and best happy hour deals. They are quick to bring the food and service is always faster. The ambience is perfect for a bar.

Happy hour half off pizza and drink specials.

The half off appetizer menu from 3 pm to 6 pm is definitely an experience. The food are generously portion out and every plate was delicious. The service the staff from the host, to the servers, back off the house chef/ line cooked, and food runner, is unbelievably fast and friendly considering how busy it was. The ambiance of the dining area is generally natural lighting. A few battery operated candles. And over head lighting.

Super good lunch here!! Very spacious, noise level wasn't bad. Servers were very nice. My drink never sat at a low level for long. They were refilling and taking any dishes in a timely manner so we have space. I got a mix and match two tacos, Korean and fish. I didn't want the rice and beans so I asked for it to be switched out for fries. I got plain fries. Love that I could make a substitution. The fish was extra crunchy!! Stayed in the taco well too. There was a good amount of sauce also. The Korean had a good crunch. Sauce was good but a little heavy handed. The toppings weren't bad either. Only thing is that I had a hard time keeping the chicken in the taco. I just wish I had more lime on the side. Citrus and the spice on the Korean sauce would have sangggg. The fries were all consistent and crispy. I'd come again and try more. Before coming here, I only knew of the onion ring stacks but now I have more reason to come back!

Came here on a happy hour (it worth every penny) i loved the poke nachos, the pizza and the battered chicken fingers. I felt that the artichoke dip it was salty enough to have the nachos salty, so it was a little over salted for me. The waitress was great and she was at all moment making sure we were not missing anything. Would keep coming back for the happy hour

I would say Yard house is pretty much like an upscale Chili's. They have popular, classic American food. The food was okay. I think it is only worth it if you come from the happy hour, which we did. They are known for their large selection of beer, so if you're a beer person, this place is for you. Otherwise, I found the food okay. The interior nice and staff is nice!

I went to Yard House years ago and never went back. I happened to come this time because this is where my group wanted to meet up. I won't be coming back after this either. The food just isn't good. The chicken nachos had absolutely no flavor. My sangria was good. Service was great. The waitress did a great job accommodating such a large group. We had about 20 ppl in our party on a busy summer weekend. I really like how splitting the check was no big deal at all. We just passed around the device and paid and left a tip without having to wait for checks to come. More restaurants should implement this method. 1 star for the service, sangria, and splitting the checks. I think that's fair.

This place FILLS UP! It's like every other Yard House I've ever been to. High quality food, made fresh, huge beer selection. Service is generally pretty good in my experience. I like that they do a good job trying to get people seated ASAP, but the reality is that it's a busy spot and sometimes there's a bazillion people there. Environment is on the frenetic side, and it gets rowdy during game days. But other than that, I'm happy to come by and get my whisky salmon. Delicious.

WOULD recommend (Dinner). Came here with the family for a casual dinner. Online they had say there was no wait for 5, but don't trust the website. For a 7pm on Saturday, there will always be late, so just come on time. Wasn't bad though 25 minutes wait. When we walked inside, the space was big and welcoming, I would literally come back just to catch a basketball game at their bar. We started off with some traditional wings as appetizers, across the table, we game them an 8/10 rating (average). We then received our entrees which included the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak (mine) the Hand-crafted Tenders, 8oz Filet Mignon, Spicy Jambalaya w/ Linguine Noodles, Two PepperJack Burger. I can mainly speak for myself, the Cheesesteak wasn't bad but I wasn't feeling that bread though. It reminded me of the bread for the sandwiches they serve in the lunch cafeteria (Overall: 7/10 rating). It seemed like the best thing on at the table was the Spicy Jambalaya, was given 10/10. The burger was given a 7/10 as well, so the handhelds at this spot don't seem to be the best compared to the others (Mains, Pizza, etc.) Overall, this place seems like a small step up from a chain restaurants like Chili's. The best part was the interior as the service wasn't the best in the world, but everyone that worked there were respectful to us. I would only recommend if you want a little step up from Applebee's, TGI, Cheesecake Factory, etc but still want something very casual. Maybe would come back to enjoy their enormous bar that wraps around the center of the restaurant, since they have a very expanded assortment of drinks with lot.

While I was visiting Lombard for the week, one of the evenings, on a Thursday night, I had dinner at the Yard House! This Yard House is located at Fountain Square. Our group had a reservation for a table of 18 at 5:30 P.M. We weren't seated until 5:45 P.M though. Our tables overlooked the bar area, which had several TVs situated above the bar. The Yard House was playing several sports games, including a hockey game! We had about 3 different team members from the Yard House assist our table. They took drink orders, appetizers, entrée orders and even desserts! This Yard House location offered a wide range of options to choose from. You can order off of their appetizer menu which included some of the following selections Onion Ring Tower Fried Calamari Classic Sliders Edamame Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds and so much more! Their entrees included hamburgers, pizzas, chicken sandwiches, tacos, steaks, seafood, soups, and salads. There are so many options to choose from! It's always hard to select a food option at Yard House! This time, I ended up going with the Philly Cheesesteak (No sauce!) and for dessert, the Oreo Brookie. Since our table was relatively large, the appetizers came out first within 15-30 minutes. Our entrees arrived at the table within an hour. The Philly Cheesesteak was delicious! It was loaded with cheese, melted over the thinly sliced steak. It was seasoned perfectly. The bread was fresh too! The French Fries were good. Perfectly fried, but seasoned lightly. The Oreo Brookie was phenomenal! I ended up asking for it to be delivered at the same time as the Philly Cheesesteak since I needed to leave the Yard House by 7:00. There was a huge scoop of Vanilla ice cream on top of the Oreo brownie. It was delicious! I couldn't eat all of it, so I brought the rest back to the hotel! This is a great Yard House in Lombard Chicago! I'd visit here and eat again if I was in Lombard for another event!

Best option for beer lovers! You can't ever go wrong with their onion ring tower and yumm dipping sauces . I had the best dragonfruit cosmo this time around with a shrimp bowl. The shrimp bowl is so filling and is included in the low calorie options!I would most definitely recommend you try both options out!

I came here with a work group of about a dozen, and the overall experience was terrific. We had two servers covering our table, and they were on top of it. Everything came out with no problems, everyone seemed to have a good time, and what more could you want? Upon suggestion, I had the jambalaya, and it was so very good.

The broccoli was fabulous- super crispy with a flavourful peanut sauce. It was definitely the highlight of our meal. The volcano roll was a mountain of salty mayonaisse heaped on top of relatively good sushi. The overall effect was not altogether pleasant. The avocado beetroot tartare was quite good but nothing exceptional. The steamed boy choy was done very well, with a lovely soy ginger sesame sauce that paired beautifully with it. The chilli crab noodles were near inedible: very little flavour and basically floating in oil. The brownie and ice cream were good. Service was decent, and the food came out super fast. We sat outside, and enjoyed people-watching more than the meal itself. In sum, we will not return. I am vegetarian, and was super excited about going to an all-vegan sushi place, but was left quite disappointed. My pescatarian dining partner was also similarly unimpressed.

Really awesome space at a crowded downtown location. Foods were served on nice metal holders or disposable/environmentally friendly containers and utensils. The tacos were huge, and I love that they focus on the variety of vegetables on the taco, which is often overlooked at other places. Veggies also make the taco look beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the tikka paneer, the paneer was soft for paneer but firmer than tofu, a really great texture. And the flavor wasn't overpowering. The tikka sauce was light, which I am totally fine with. The chicken quesadilla was also made well and of good value, the kids all really liked it. The salmon was good too but didn't really stand out as much, but appreciate the variety veggies on top! The mexi-Cali shrimp bowl was not bad either, but also didn't stand out much. The shrimp was good but I prefer it cooked even lighter if possible. Flavor was good tho. The rice was long grain, which I prefer, but they do give quite a lot, I ended up having quite a lot leftover. I wish the had a bit more cilantro or other herby mix to increase the depth of flavor, but overall still pretty good. Queso was also really good, thick and creamy, not too salty, but sadly the kids didn't like it as much. Husband also liked the gochujang pork a lot, said it was actually really really good. Overall, we really enjoyed everything we had there. Love that they also had paper towels everywhere. My preferred method of keeping clean haha. Will definitely come back.

Service was fine but not overly warm, and since it was our first time, we found ourselves asking about the menu rather than having it introduced. The menu starts with a shared hummus. We had the bubbe's brisket, which was very tender, along with four sides to mix and dip with pita. For the second course, we chose the kubbeh halab and beef tongue. The kubbeh halab, a fried dumpling with lamb, was flavorful and came with some dill and brown sauce, that worked well together. The beef tongue was extremely tender and paired nicely with its rich sauce. The stuffed cabbage with rice was a bit plain compared to the other dishes. For mains, we had the barramundi and lobster. Both were cooked well. The sweet potato purée with the barramundi did not work as well with the beurre blanc since the textures were too similar, and there was a bit too much sauce. The lobster stood out with a citrus sauce and slices of blood orange, and paired nicely with the parsnip purée. Worth the additional $20. For dessert, we had the malabi, which was described to us like a panna cotta. The citrus topping was a bit too tart, so this was probably my least favorite course. Overall, really good execution on their meats and seafood. We would come back and try other dishes. They also offer a happy hour with some dishes available à la carte.
