Celebrated my son's 11th birthday here. I had reserved a table 2 months in advance for about 8 people. When we arrived, I could see that we didn't really need to. For a Thursday night, it was fairly empty, but we didn't mind. It did take them a couple of minutes to get a table set for us. Our server Mateo was beyond awesome. He was super friendly and accommodating. Everyone was able to eat and drink in a timely manner, then go and enjoy the games! They had a huge selection of games, and all of them were working!!! It was such a sight to see as most arcade locations, there are always a few games out of order. Since it was not busy, we were able to play as many rounds of our favorite games at our leisure. I definitely enjoyed this location much better and will be back. This is located right beside Carolina Place mall, so there were plenty of parking spaces.

My family came here to celebrate my nephews 11th birthday and it was so much fun. The food was great, the drinks were amazing, and our server Mateo was awesome. I did expect more of a crowd on a Thursday at 6p.m. but it was fairly empty. This also meant quicker service and all games available.

I was scared to eat the food. After ordering and walking around to see what a mess was through this place. If they can not keep games working, or can not have more than 1 bathroom sink and paper towel machine working the kitchen is a disaster! Service- I hope the girl at the bar in the mask was new. Then I would understand but very slow and it was a slow night. Not very friendly. The guy sitting at host stand! He was helpful wish I caught his name- He told us upon walking in about the power play food/card deal and welcomed us. This manager does not care about this place at all. Someone is going to get hurt. Machines literally failing apart. Love D&D this is the worst I've even seen. Starting to think this company does not even care about it and wants it to fail.

Came here on a Wednesday for half prided games and to grab some dinner. Got the chimichurri bowl with chicken. Was ok. Service wasnt great and we were told the wrong prices on a few drinks, but just let it go. Girlfriend ordered an avocado chicken sandwich that had the smallest amount of avocado you could possibly put on a sandwich, but they brought her some more when she asked. Worst part was basically any game that had any kind of mechanical component was partial or fully broken, and it was not easy to find anyone to fix anything or tell of the issue. I haven't been to a D&B in long time, and wont go back for the games at the very least.

10/10 never seen a arcade place better than dis. All games are working. They also make it easier for the kids.

When I was seven years old, my mother made my two birthday favorites, mac-n-cheese and a jello cake. The gift was simply a new ball glove since I was almost able to play in Little League. Wow, how things have changed. Dave & Buster's redefine the expectations of celebrating one day over another. For my grandson's 7th, it was a onslaught of technology, professional-level gaming, and all sorts of whirling, twirling gizmos. The only thing that spun faster, was the money flying out of the wallet to reload the all too convenient players card. We're not in Kansas anymore. The place is small, dark, and winds around. Cool. Parents, however, may struggle letting their kids out of their site. We did. On the day we visited it was packed and our server could hardly handle the press. Our food was just OK, poorly executed bar samples. Nothing healthy here. Looking to celebrate a birthday in a grand manner? For the price of going to Carowinds for the day, give 'em a whirl, and a twirl.

The service was insanely slow. The food was okay but the portions on the pasta were very small. Several of the games were broken and my friends and I were stopped mid game on the hungry hippos and told to get off so they could fix it. It's not their fault but there were children everywhere. Do kids not go to Chuck E Cheese anymore?

It's a great place to play with APA players in 8 and 9 ball. Food choices are available but not a full kitchen (pizza, nachos, popcorn are the staples.) Drinks tend to be on the strong side and not overpriced. Bottled and canned beer and a full well, plus wine is available sometimes. Stays open late even without a full house so it's a fun spot to come after dinner and play.

I was at Blue Rocks with a few friends to grab a couple beers and play darts on a Friday night in February 2023. They have leagues on Friday nights so it was highly crowded with customers. As the night went on I went to the ladies room and unbeknownst to me, a man followed me into the women's restroom. I personally did not know he was in there but thankfully another customer saw this happen and went up to my friend and told her to run and go get me since I was followed. As I was walking out of the stall my friend abruptly opened the door and that is when I saw a man standing behind the wall of the other stall (in between the sink and stall), hiding. My friend immediately grabbed me and we quickly left the restroom. I immediately walked up to the bar tender to report the situation and he said he would "take care of it and thank you for letting him know". I felt reassured in this moment since the bar tender and I have seen each other several times and I felt like had a rapport. Or so I thought...but 10 or so minutes later go by and I see the same man still standing at the bar ordering a drink. This made me uncomfortable so I went to close out my tab to leave. The bar tender then says to me "I handled the situation." I stated "no, you did not, he is still in the bar." Bar tender replied "Well I asked him why he followed you into the women's restroom and he said he didn't know he was in the women's restroom." So not only did the bar tender NOT handle the situation, he also disclosed I was the one who reported the situation and now the man knows exactly who I am, where I have been sitting, where my friends are etc. I am writing this review because not only did I feel unsafe...the bartender also did not do his duty to protect his customers. I have been going to Blue rocks for years. By myself, with my friends, with my family and have never felt unsafe until this very night. I am extremely perturbed by how this was handled (well actually it wasn't handled) and want others to be aware so they can be prepared to protect themselves when they are there. Although the man did not harm me as the situation was stopped by multiple customers (thankfully...seriously I cannot thank you enough!) it was extremely inappropriate and unfortunate. I will not be returning to this establishment and I hope Blue Rocks can learn from this situation and act accordingly the next time this happens.

Out of the four of us, I was the only one who hadn't been here before. It's a long-standing, no-frills wing shack/sports-bar hybrid in south Charlotte that's built a loyal following around one thing: serious wings. There are other things on the menu--but unless you want an appetizer or something alongside your wings, ignore them--the wings are the main event. Their website claims 25 flavors, and if you order more than one set of five, you can sample more than one. I went with ten wings: mild Buffalo and lemon pepper. Everyone recommended the lemon pepper wings. These are not a dry rub; they're a wet, glossy toss--and they are OUTSTANDING. I'm hooked. The Buffalo wings were on par with the best versions of the classic style. They provide celery sticks with blue cheese or ranch dressing--I chose blue cheese--and it was a great accompaniment. We also had their Spicy Onion Rings as an appetizer before we ordered the wings. The onion itself brings natural sweetness and mild sharpness (especially when hot), while the batter/coating is where the personality lives: savory, slightly salty, and well-seasoned. DD Peckers' spicy onion rings are essentially a classic crispy onion ring elevated with a peppery seasoning--where the heat enhances the onion's natural sweetness rather than overpowering it. They have a great selection of craft beers and ciders and offer a full bar. Most of us had Olde Mecklenburg Brewery Copper, a local Charlotte beer. I had two bottles of Bold Rock Hard Apple Cider, which paired well with both the onion rings and the wings, along with a glass of Olde Mecklenburg Copper in between. Our waitress was attentive, fun, and efficient. She kept everything moving seamlessly, and all of our needs were met exceptionally. We all tipped her well. The food and drink here are quite a bargain--especially considering how iconic this restaurant is and how delicious their wings are. A great night with friends, good drinks, and incredible wings--what could be better?

We ordered the chicken tenders and fries and though nothing about the meal was bad, but nothing really stood out either. The tenders were decent and the fries were fine, just fairly average across the board. It was one of those meals where everything was perfectly edible, but nothing memorable enough to make you crave coming back. With so many solid chicken options around Charlotte, I'd probably lean toward places like Poppycox or even Chick-fil-A next time if we're in the mood for tenders and fries. DD Peckers has a good reputation for wings and a big variety of sauces, so that may be where the real draw is. For us though, the tenders and fries didn't quite do enough to earn a repeat visit.

Mounted game fish, moose, and deer heads give it that hunting-lodge vibe, which actually makes it a fun place to hang out and watch sports. We started with the Billionaire Bacon appetizer--six slices of bacon described as thick-cut, hickory-smoked and candied with brown sugar, red chile flakes, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne. The flavor description was accurate, but the bacon itself really wasn't thick-cut and could've been much crispier. For the price, I expected better. If it had been thicker and crispy, it might've been worth it, but I probably won't order that again. My girlfriend ordered the Southwest Salad, and that dish absolutely delivered. It was a heaping portion topped with perfectly cooked sliced sirloin steak and shrimp, plus mixed greens, carrots, pico de gallo, roasted corn, black beans, pepper jack, and a jalapeño honey vinaigrette. She absolutely loved it. She also got a side of coleslaw, which was surprisingly delicious and a great addition to the meal. She paired everything with the Dirty Blonde beer, which definitely made up for the disappointing appetizer. I went with the naked garlic Parmesan wings and a side Caesar salad. Both were delicious. The wings were fried perfectly--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside--and the flavor was spot on. I was very satisfied with them. Service was great as well. We actually had two servers because one was in training, and both of them were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, I'd rate our experience a 4.5 out of 5. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all really good, and we had a fun time. If not for the underwhelming Billionaire Bacon, this would've easily been a full 5. We'll definitely be back--just skipping that appetizer next time.

This place was quite large with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. There was regular tables, booths and high tables as well as a large bar you can sit at. The decor gave hunter/lumberjack feels with prop axe's on tables and mounted animals on the walls. Large TV's were everywhere showing all types of sports from softball, cornhole, extreme frisbee and the more common sports. We were greeted warmly and promptly were lead to a table. Looking at every table, they all had two dishes and two sets of utensils. We had three people eating. A third plate and set of utensils was never given to us. Also there are no menus. There was a sticker on the table with a QR code you could scan to get the menu but that was never pointed out to us. Our server came promptly and we were able to get our drinks quickly while we were trying to figure out the menu. Our server was kind of nice to realize we were having issues with the app bringing up the menu so she gave us time to look it over while coming back often to check on us. Eventually we had decided what we wanted. I ordered the Billionaire's Bacon for an appetizer. The Bacon was a bit undercooked to my liking. It was a little chewy. But the sweet and spicy taste was very good. My friend ordered the Brisket Chili and downed it very fast. They really enjoyed it. For our entrée's I ordered the Beer Battered Fish n Chips, my two friends both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak minus the mushrooms. We all got the seasoned french fries. Their cheesesteaks came large and correctly made. My one friend was only able to finish half of it and took the rest home for lunch tomorrow. My Fish n Chips came with four pieces of hot and yummy Cod. It was white and flakey and the batter was light but crunchy. The seasoned fries were cooked perfectly and the seasonsing reminded me of Old Bay. And there was plenty of them too! Our server refreshed our drinks when we were getting low and checked on us several times to make sure everything tasted good and if we needed anything else. We split the bill and we were just handed a paper receipt. I was surprised there was no little folder that it was put in. Overall we had a good experience. The food was good, the service was good. For a place that has signs showing you how cold the beer fridge is you would think they would have something on the table showing you their frosty mugs of beer. A hand held menu is so much better but as long as you know what you want it's a nice place. Come football season I am thinking this is gonna be a great spot to watch games. I want to try their wings next time because they have some interesting combinations. If you are looking for a new spot give them a try!
