Came in on Saturday (December 30, 2023). Strangely, place was not busy at all; even parking was easy to find and close by. There is a security guard right when you walk in, but I didn't see him check anyone's ID between 7pm-10pm. I saw 4 different security guards walking throughout the room; so I felt safe; I assume that they had a bad incident in the past. Luckily, there was absolutely no wait for a table to eat (half the tables were empty); (maybe due to New Year's holiday weekend? or maybe grand opening was half a year ago?). Tables and floors were clean. There are lots of big screen TVs playing sports games; and there were people cheering for their team. What's funny is that you can *gamble* your gameplay tickets on your phone app and wager them for a team to win more gameplay tickets (not real money). We got our beverages in 1 minute after ordering (so lucky it wasn't busy). Our food came out in 15 minutes. I had the philly cheesesteak; it comes with french fries - total was $17 + tax + tip; it tasted pretty good (but I've had better), and I might order it again. Server asked us if we needed anything every 15 minutes. Be sure to give your waiter your game card while you pay so you get free game play; my server didn't ask, and then I noticed it too late; menu says "for every $1 of food, get $1 in game play; up to $50 worth of gameplay." Great service overall. In terms of the arcade games, I spent $100 + $3 for a new card. My group together played ~40 games, which I thought went pretty fast. Nearly all of the games were working; the really big games with huge screens were the ones broken. The ticket redemption area is really tiny; like the size of your kitchen. I redeemed all of my tickets for Funko collectible. Also, this entire Dave & Busters is really small; I've been to five of them in California, and this is by far, the smallest Dave & Busters (like half the size of most of them). The restrooms are really nice too; 5 wall toilets and 3 sitdown toilets and 4 sinks also restrooms were super clean; they are also easy to find with big MEN and WOMEN sign; there is also a separate "family" restroom. Although you would enjoy another Dave & Busters, if this is your first time going to any Dave & Busters, then you would be satisfied that you got your money's worth. If I could give zero stars I would. Although the waitress was very nice, the food steak in the steak salad was awful. The manager said there was nothing he could do because I ate the salad. Tried again to see if last time was a fluke... unfortunately it's just how this place is.... I did a table reservation and got sat waited over 20 mins for a server to simply ask if I wanted water, after 10 more mins of getting my water I finally put my order in and that still took an hr to get to the table. We have such a fun time at this location. It all started with the outstanding service we received right when we walked in. Ashley was amazing. We had questions she had all the answers and treated us like VIPs. I was completely blown away by her level of service. You don't get that very often nowadays. Beer was ice cold, burger had great flavor, fries were well seasoned. Games were awesome and our family of 4 had a wonderful evening out. I never thought I'd ever write a review on this place, but after our impromptu visit, I had to. This is really a review on the just staff experience. We went on a weekday afternoon, which was nice and empty. All of the games were available, so it was like being a kid in a candy store. Unfortunately, some of the games were not working as I expected (hungry hippos didn't pop out enough balls, Alien game second player action wasn't working). This would've been a miserable experience, except that the guys on the floor were more than happy to drop what they were doing and immediately come to our aid. They comped us for our lost credits, and even added a little more, just to erase our unpleasant experience. When we accidentally selected the wrong game, another technician, who didn't know about our previous issue, corrected the problem and reissued our credits - no questions asked. Couldn't even get in due to me looking under 18. Had my ID on me. Once proved I was an adult they still wouldn't let us in because I was with my sister. I am 23 years old, with my 16 year old sister. They wouldn't let my sister in because she was 16 SIXTEEEEEN! Yet there was 8 year olds walking around in there? I don't understand. They said I had to be 25 in order for her to come in. Will never comprehend how someone can have such bad bedside manner and be blatantly rude to someone. We were celebrating a birthday this evening so we went to the new D&B. Turning 12 is a big deal around here! Our server Michael was great. I think he may have been training but the attention to detail was very nice. The security Herbert on the other hand was not great. We had 5 boys and they were having a great time. 1 boy was rough housing and got in trouble by the guard. Shortly after his dad decided to take him home. But the security guard decided to follow our boys around the entire night and reprimand them constantly. As parents we were watching them and playing games with them. The rest had great arcade behavior. I don't appreciate how they singled the only children in the restaurant out, and harassing them. The security guard is there to help keep the restaurant safe and i did not feel that way for my kids. I was walking into the restroom and the guard didn't know I was with the boys(9), who were playing with a ball they won, and he tried to scold them for bouncing that ball...I came out of the bathroom and approached the guard and he quickly changed his tone. Not appreciated at all! We left immediately. There were a lot of adults acting much worse than my kids and nothing was said or done about them. The pot stickers were great though! read more

Tonight we made reservations for 5pm for two of us. As we entered the restaurant, there was a line of guest just waiting and other waiting to get help. There was a lady at the very very small host desk, if you could call it that. She kept talking to the staff and engorged all of the guests. It was rude and uncalled for. After about 10 minutes, she turned to the guest and asked what they wanted. Finally it was our turn and I told her that we had reservations for 5pm. It took her some time to find our name. She told us that there were no tables ready. It would be about 20 minutes. With no way of notification that a table was ready, we sat down and waited. After watching others being seated, I went up to the desk and said, we had reservations and have been waiting. She then said you should have been seated already. She took us over to a table under the large TV. The table was dirty, trash under the table and no stools to sit on. We looked at each other and said no thank you and left. No one greater us as we walked in, the host table was a joke. It was maybe 20" round with very little area to work on. They need a larger host table to accommodate all the guest that were waiting. I had an large party for my birthday here maybe about 20+ without reservations they were able to accommodate us but some weren't getting their plates fast enough unfortunately i believe not everyone got food so some of our party didn't get to enjoy the games as a result, oh well. The drinks were real *juicy* lol. Tyrone and Irene made sure to do their best constantly checking in on us, making great effort to communicate with the kitchen. Despite making adjustments to our orders, ie, no tomato yadda yadda, they made the plates as is. Not a big deal but slightly eh. Tyrone made it worth while. He was the best server ever, had it not been for his hospitality and kindness our moods would have been significantly different. He came to apologize and ask if he could do anything for us while we waited for our food. Mind you, it was not busy at all and I had been sitting at the bar waiting for my second drink when she would just ignore me. She's the big, Latina with long, jet black hair. Very unprofessional even though she got tipped after every drink. We have been anticipating D&B opening for several weeks, we have 2 kids that couldn't wait to go. There were four people in our party, and we had all had a pretty hectic day. We planned on going to D&B after school to relax, play games and hangout for a couple of hours. We arrived at 3pm, the restaurant was 1/4 full, which was why we chose that time to go in. We asked for a booth but was told they are used for parties more than four people, yet the place was mostly empty, and 4 of the 6 booths separating the arcade from the dining area were vacant. Instead we were sat directly under the giant TVs at a table. 3 out of the 6 booths remained unoccupied the entire time we were there, 2 full hours. It just is disappointing that we couldn't have been accommodated, there were plenty of tables to seat larger parties, if they arrived. My husband and I did not even eat or drink, it just put a bad taste in our mouth at that point. The kids still enjoyed themselves, ate $7.00 macaroni cheese and played video games. Be careful when ur at Dave and busters. We have won the StarTrek coin push game. We had all 8 cards required to get the jackpot prize which was 2500 tickets. My husband turned them in and the girl that works there, Hailey, said ok took the cards and added the tickets. We were both excited about it and wanted to see how many tickets we had now. So we check and there's only 1000 tickets. We had 300 and we got 2500 how is the balance only 1000? So we go back and Hailey says oh no he only gave me 4. I said no he gave you 8 we were sure of it. She told her coworker no they only gave me 4. I go mad said bullshit show me the cards. Hailey proceeds to tell me no I can't it's locked. I said u are a thief and a liar. Call ur manager. She said fine management comes and says oh well we will give the 2500 tickets we're sorry. I said that's all fine and dandy but she gave those tickets to someone else. U should check the cameras and make sure. U don't want a dishonest person working for your company. Then we left. We would have stayed longer played longer and turned in our tickets, but these people made our night of fun sour so we left. I just wanna pass this along so people can keep an eye out next time you're there and make sure your tickets don't get stolen.
