I had a toilet tank leak while I was away over the weekend and came back to a flooded bathroom and a wet carpet in the hallway. I used a wet/dry vac and fan to get as much of the water out but I knew I needed to check the carpet pad and subfloor - called Dave and he was able to come out right away. After pulling up carpet Dave gave me several recommendations on how to dry out the carpet, pad and subfloor. He also took the time to inspect the baseboards, bathroom vanity and adjoining walls to ensure the water did intrude these areas. He came back on a Sunday to finish putting back the carpet in place and his bill was very reasonable. Would highly recommend Dave for your carpet needs. read more

I can't tell you the last time I had this type of customer service and the end product was even better. I made a huge mistake that broke my heart. I am a new home owner and learning as I go. One thing I needed to have was nice carpet in my brand new home, so I splurged on a very light grey carpet. One year in, I spilled coffee on my carpet, no biggie I was just going to get it up right away. Well I grabbed the wrong bottle and put two lovely bleach marks on my beautiful light grey (patterned) carpet. I cried for a few hours, then I started making phone calls. This man is an Absolute Savior !!! I remember him coming to my home back in 2004 to fix a carpet that my small dog had destroyed ! She was not happy being left in a downstairs bedroom and she physically ripped the carpet from one corner and tore it to shreds !! Dave 'Saved the Day' by cutting out the damaged part and replacing it with a piece of carpet from the closet !! There was Absolutely No Way to tell what had happened !! Dave is bar far one of the most personable and professional workers I have ever dealt with. He was responsive super quick and amazing value with the price. He doesn't over charge you and actually cares about what he is doing. You get some great convo out of him also while he works which is priceless! I will be handing his info out to all my friends and family! My dog went to town on my carpet and pad which is pictured. I thought I was going to need a Dang seem done but dave seen a picture for a quite over text and said it should be no problem and he wouod try to stretch it first then gave me the option price of a seem if needed. He showed up and within 20 minutes had my carpet stretched placed down with new padding that he brought also to match what I had. My wife remember about a second thing that we had him do and he took care of that in another 15 minutes with a cutt out and patch job of melted Plastic on carpet! Dave did a really great job on our entire house. We had about 1200 sq ft of carpeting done, plus about 22 stairs. He did all of our stairs in the Hollywood style, which would have cost me an arm and a leg with any other company, but was totally affordable with Dave! He only took about two and a half days for the job, including demo. Have him take you to Dublin Flooring-- they have tons of options and will give you a good deal on the carpet that you order. Dave brought some samples to our house for the quote, but it was so much easier to go into the store and find exactly what we wanted. He was honest and told us that our padding was still in really good condition (he could have easily lied and said that we needed to replace it so he could get the extra labor costs), but instead, he fixed the padding areas that needed a little bit of work for free. read more

I found Dave off of Craig's list and can I just say, "Whew, what a find!!!" I had been quoted by Empire a ridiculous price and might I add their customer service skills are another form of bullying. I called this other guy off of Craig's List and quoted me $150 more than Dave, and when I informed him I was going to continue price comparison he INSULTED me!!! He was so pissed I was going to do my homework he berated me and my search.... and low and behold the very next guy I called was Dave.... Nicest, most friendliest carpet guy EVER!!!!! He posed no form of intimidation and was very naturally honest. Dave came the next day, and realized he had a huge project that I tried to convey over the phone. I was going to use previously owned carpet so he had to drive to the house and pick it up. Unfortunately, we were 10 square feet short of what was needed... So Dave takes us to a carpet warehouse to purchase some more carpet and new padding!! Unbelievable!! This guy is a blue collar angel!!! He worked at an even pace, was clean, moved all of my heavy furniture and crap by himself, and treated me how all girls want to be treated by a perfect stranger in their homes. He wasn't pushy on conversation (like when we were watching TV, etc) and he had a great, easy attitude! I wasn't quite sure what I was looking to have done, but Dave had some great suggestions for my budget and for the immediate need. He was really easy to make arrangements with and just came off as a great guy (good attidude = GREAT relief). Dave was GREAT. I had called around and was unable to find a carpet installer who would move my furniture. Several installers told me to call a moving company, most of which charge $80 or more per hour. Dave and his son moved all the furniture before laying the carpet and then replaced everything once they were done. I had mistakenly ordered the wrong width carpet and Dave was required to do lots of seaming and none of it shows. I felt comfortable having Dave in my house when I was work.
