They seemed pleasant, very pleasant, making comments like "this is the best place to work!" I saw the owner, silver haired old man, walking around, keeping an eye. After two hours of waiting, the receptionist came back with her iPad and started showing me pictures of my brake and quoted me $1200, labor alone was priced at $463.00! Along, with the brakes, they had 9 other recommended services, which they said was urgent. All together, the additional service was another $3000. I was desperate and needed my car the next day for a trip, which I had shared with the receptionist. She told me they'll take great care of the car and even gave me some discount and automatically enrolled me in their loyalty program. While I was waiting, I saw three other customers enter the door. Two older men and one young woman. I picked up my car next morning and took it to another reputable place, Sweeneys Garage, and was told my brakes are good for few more months and all of the other work they highly recommended, I didn't need!! We were on the phone with him to help guide him through everything. He was repeatedly apologetic because he knew he was asking a lot of questions, and the sales representatives were patient and respectful with him. However, toward the end of the transaction--right before finalizing--the finance manager, Jim Kelley, made a highly inappropriate comment. As he was leaving the office, he said, "these fucking people," referring to my father-in-law and possibly to us on the phone with him. This comment was completely disrespectful, felt racially charged, and came entirely out of left field. After hearing this, we no longer felt comfortable giving this dealership our business. My husband asked my father-in-law to request his keys, ID, and registration back and leave. If you choose to go here, be aware of this extremely disrespectful behavior from the finance manager.

When I arrived in WNY from NC, I began to have car issues. Northtown serviced my car June 2. I…read moreexplained the issues to the service advisor and that I needed the car to be in working order for my return trip to NC. Northtown had my car for two days, replaced 4 front bushings, sway bar links, and did an alignment. While driving out of the dealership lot, I noticed my steering wheel was off-center. This is something the service tech should have noticed as the car was being driven out of the service bay. I contacted the service advisor who asked me to bring the car back, so the car could be realigned. On my trip back to NC, I still had car issues. I took it to a mechanic in NC who indicated the control arm bracket on the right side was not tightened at all. The thought of having driven over 700 miles, with an issue that could have potentially caused me to lose steering and lead to a catastrophic outcome is very unnerving to say the least. I am extremely disappointed with the service technician who handled the car repairs and that there was absolutely no oversight to be sure I had a safe car to drive.

The waiting area is comfortable and has a charging station for phones etc, free coffee and cookies, a vending machine with snacks, a tv (wish the remote had been available to change it from news though, would love to see sports on there!), and I saw coloring books and crayons too so kids can be occupied. It's four stars instead of five for two reasons - one, they misplaced my keys and it took an unreasonably long time to find them, and the second vehicle also took a longer time to pick up than I think it should have. Two, although they send video walkthroughs of several things on the vehicle (tire tread, etc), there is no description either in the video or in the paperwork of exactly what the video is showing or what things mean. Obviously green is good, red is bad, but... are those brake pads (my assumption) or something else? How long does it take to go from yellow to red on the little test things? I'd love more discussion or a flyer so I can understand what is being shared.

I went in the next day (when he said it would be ready) only the find the oil changed and nothing else done. He told me my transmission oil was dirty but not low, I needed new wheel bearings, my car pulls to the right, I needed a new exhaust manifold and flex pipe as they were all rusted out, and that I needed new wiper blades. He told me he would call me later that day or the next day with the prices for all the parts he would need, and I never heard from him again. That was 3 months ago. I ended up paying 75$ for an oil change and some wiper blades, that he didn't even install (not that that's a big deal). I'm glad I never heard from him again though, turns out my exhaust was fixed by a 5 minute weld, and my wheel bearings were fine. I had another garage look at it and after they aligned it (for free), and changed the transmission fluid, and they said it was fine. Claims to make customers for life but he can't call back the person he was about to scam into 400$+ worth of repair? University car care is a joke.
