Got a bunch of tenders delivered. It is a bit pricey per tenders but it's very good. Crispy and well seasoned and the sauce is very good as well - but it is not only the sauce thats doing the work here. Have not been in the store so dont know the service or ambience but the food(chicken tenders at least) is very good. read more

I am always open to trying different restaurants so I decided to give Dave's Hot Chicken a try. I ordered the #4 combo, it consists of one slider with fries. The slider was not good. The chicken itself was extremely bland, like there was no seasoning on the chicken at all. The fries were very good. The Dave's sauce was really good as well. We were excited to try their chicken and ordered the Slider with Fries and Small Top Loaded Fries. The portions were generous, but honestly a bit overwhelming. I would have preferred the chicken from my loaded fries on the sliders instead. The slider chicken was too big, not crunchy, and heavenly seasoned that I couldn't taste the chicken itself. Ive been wanting to try this place for a while, and I am so glad I did! My husband and I split the two slider combo w medium spice level. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The chicken was coated w like dry rub spices vs the actual spicy sauce, which was a pleasant surprise and great taste, and great spice. Fries were also crispy and good. Went today for their grand opening! I was super surprised because I wasn't even aware that it was today, I just saw it open as I drove by. I'm super happy to have a dave's hot chicken closer to my area now. There was also a person greeting everyone at the front with goodies like pins and stickers! I got the #2 - came with 2 sliders and fries. I also ordered a milkshake with oreo topping (it's literally only on top and costs an additional $2). The food came out fairly quickly with there being a large line of people. The young boy calling out the orders was very friendly and accommodating too! Fries were amazing, super crunchy! The sliders weren't as good as last time I had them in the tyson's area but still decent! Shake was SO rich and creamy! The sauce is more of a dusting than liquid. Pick up was a little tight and disorganized. All things chicken didn't disappoint! Heard about this location opening up and was excited to check it out. I tried the #2 which was 2 sliders and switched it with cheesy fries. Everything was well put together for the order including the side of sauce. The interior has a modern take with eclectic artwork on the wall. Everything looked clean and well organized and there was plenty of parking outside. Service was great from the front desk to when it was ready and announced for pick up. Only recommendation would be to have better layout for ordering area and the dining area as it looked a bit busy as people were waiting for their orders in front of the cashier area. Our company always buys us lunch to show appreciation and we get to choose a place we would like to try. This one was new to us and let's just say better than chic fila chicken. You get to choose your heat preference and the sliders are a great size! The chicken was so good and not dry at all. Pretty tender but not fatty. So I stopped there a few weeks ago to see what the fuss was about in terms of their sliders and they were nothing to write home about. The owner and staff were nice but the slider sucked.
