Took a trip with the fam to Green Bay and the wife and I got us some Dave's Hot Chicken! We love this place wherever we go. We haven't had a bad experience yet at all the locations we have been at here in Wisconsin and in California. Always good food, service and value. This location has a big seating area inside and cool Green Bay Packer themed chicken murals on the walls. To start, the guy taking our order was super helpful and friendly. He gave us suggestions on what's popular. We both got the #3 combo, a chicken strip and slider with fries. I don't particularly like spice so I got the no heat. I thought the fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The strip was large and had great flavor. The slider was also very good. I dipped it in the Dave's sauce for more flavor. I will say the Dave's sauce is AMAZING. I couldn't get enough of it. I was dipping everything in it. I think Dave's Hot Chicken sandwich is pretty good. The service was adequate and I was impressed with the simplicity of the interior design. I like the various choices of sauces available. I think the prices are a bit high but they do make a better chicken sandwich then Popeyes. Got the #3. The chicken sandwich was the best. I ordered it in hot but with the sugar and sauce it wasn't very spicy. Hot was good but if you really like hot, maybe go higher. This chicken is so good! It's one of my new favorite places. Service is good, food comes out fast even for online pickup. I love that they put a lot of pickles on the sandwich because you cant ask for extra pickle when you order online. And there's some on the side. The sauce is good too and the fries are crispy. My kid seen Daves Hot Chicken on TikTok or YouTube and wanted to try it. Happen to find one in Green Bay. It was the first time and last time. Sandwich was alright but overpriced. It's one of the few fast food restaurants that does not include a soft drink in the value menu. When you check out, your prompted for a tip. For what? You are upcharged for a small chicken slider, upcharged for a softdrink, then expected to pay 20% on top of it. There is only one sink and toilet. Plan on waiting in line to wash your hands.
