My teenage son saw a viral TikTok of this place and started begging to come try it asap. Now we don't live nearby so we decided to make a day trip to STL to try this spot and do some shopping. I checked reviews across multiple social media platforms to get a feel for what I was in for. I'll break it down in the simplest terms the pros + cons of this establishment. Pros: Food was hot, fresh, and we didn't wait more than 10 minutes for our order. Prices were ok, in this economy food pricing is all over the place so the fact that our food had steak and shrimp in it I didn't feel we paid too much. There were multiple folks coming and going when we arrived around 1:30pm on a Saturday. This place seems to be heavier on take out than dine in, but both options are available. Cons: parking lot is small and hard to maneuver if you have a larger vehicle. Location is in an older part of STL so if you're expecting a fancy tik tok viral place think again. Some reviews claimed the place was dirty, I feel like the place was not dirty so much as just old. Yes there are some things that make you look twice, but some of the best food I've ever had comes out of places like this. Don't judge the book by the cover. My son was very happy with his orders and all 3 of my kids said the fries were good. See attached pictures and order names for specifics. Overall I gave it a solid 7/10 if fries are your thing. Service at the counter was appropriate.This place taps that market and it's a simple product with delicious toppings. The fries were fresh, grease wasn't old, and the vibe was "We are all here to try something new that we saw on TikTok or we live around the corner and got the munchies and this place is . " If you find yourself in STL and want to try something different give it a shot. Don't let the neighborhood or decor chase you away. The food is delicious. read more

I really can only speak to my DoorDash experience, but for a first time it was phenomenal. I cannot speak to personal interaction, but my food was packaged wonderfully. This was critical because my food arrived hot, and maintained its crispness. That can be a problem with ordering fried take-out. I ordered honey garlic chicken wings with fries. Where has this place been hiding? I found it due to a post on Nextdoor, it's only a mile from my house and it is AMAZING! Went here Saturday night for dinner with my husband. Sadly there was no one else there, but it was a cute location and it was yummy!!! The service was good too! The man at the counter explained the menu and the 2 portion sizes, shld have gotten the small because the large was huge! I ordered the Buffalo chicken and it was yummy! My husband did the make your own and he said his was yummy too! Food came out pretty quickly! The tv in the place was pretty loud and the smoke detector was beeping so we decided to take our food home, but the location was pretty large. Got the honey garlic shrimp and steak fries. When I walked in, the staff who greeted me were very pleasant and nice. The food itself was pretty good. Fries weren't crispy, but I wasn't expecting it to be (also I got the food to-go, so likely some steam-sog action happening. They did have a fluffy interior, which was very satisfying to bite into. The steak and shrimp were very well-seasoned. The shrimp added a slight briny taste with juicy texture, while the steak added the caramelized, hard-sear flavor. It was very rich, and on the sweet side (which I prefer, but it may not be for everyone). They also loaded on the toppings heavily. One room for improvement (again my preference) is that I would want something a little bit more acidic to cut through the richness (such as pickled onions). Overall, this was a pretty good dish, happy to come back to try the other dishes as well. 4/5 stars. read more

Before I tell y'all about the excellent service and the nice owner, I want to say don't be afraid of the neighborhood. It looks a little sketchy. However, I felt good about being here. So gone in and eat!! So back to the excellent service and the nice owner... we walked in and everyone greeted us. We were offered help with the menu as well. We were waiting on the other 2 people in our group to arrive and it was not an issue. Everyone arrived and we ordered our food they had Vess in the freezer in the back. I knew I was home at that point. (For those people not from here, Vess is a locally made soda) I got a fruit punch and the small rotel fries. I could have gotten the snack pack because it's a lot of food. My husband got the bbq turkey rib fries. So of course I had to stick my fork in his box. It was delicious. The meat is shaved so you don't have to pick up any of the meat. I didn't get a picture the cheeseburger fries but he was the only one that finished his so I'll say that were good. We will definitely be back. Everything was delicious and super flavorful. The rotel fries aren't on the menu but they were a special I saw on the counter. So I would definitely look out for extras. I'm going to be so real. I just got off work came down here saw the place was relatively small and absolutely packed! Now I get in they tell me it's an hour wait. Now, to me, that's a good thing. That means they are making everything fresh so this really doesn't discourage me at all. I sat down planned my order and as I'm planning and these guys are back there doing there thing and also being actively involved with the people sitting down waiting. Talking having conversations as they are cooking up back there. I loved it, amazing atmosphere and even better service. I just put in my order and even though I have gotten my food yet I already know it's going to be the best fries I've ever had in my life. I wasn't impressed with the decor. It's not in the best part of town or the worst. The parking lot is small. Expect to be there a while. They cook as you order. The person who took my order was pleasant but not inviting. They really season the food. The food was pretty good, especially the buffalo chicken ranch. As a potato enthusiast myself, I had high expectations coming in here. When I walked in, I was greeted kindly and the people working there were nothing short of amazing. They helped with my order and even triple checked to make sure it was right.
