Delicious! This is a hot chicken place, but don't let that mislead you - the star of the show is the delicious fried chicken, and the level of heat can be controlled to your taste. The medium level is pretty low spice, so don't be shy to go hotter. Note that the tenders here are huge (basically the size of a regular chicken breast), so the meal with two tenders is perfectly filling. In terms of service and ambiance, this place is basically like a fast food restaurant - simple, clean, friendly, but unassuming.

This is the best hot crispy chicken chain! I've been to the one in Newton and now the one in Natick, both places are consistently good! The decor is similar between the locations. The staff are friendly and helpful (they were telling another customer to drench your chicken with honey packs). The only thing about the Natick location is that its slow service. For the food, its so fresh and delicious! You can order different spice levels for each chicken or tender you order. My order had 2 chicken sandwiches of differing heat levels and it was impossible to figure it out without tasting each one. I saw that they had spice level stickers but none of that was found to help us. I can take spicy food but the HOT level chicken here is definitely HOT. It makes you sweat and your tongue a little numb. Add to the temperature of the chicken and it will make you feel like a volcano has erupted in your mouth! I thoroughly expected this and enjoyed it though. The crinkle fries are really good, as they are served fresh. There is a fountain machine so if you get a soda, you can get refills. 90% of the dining hall was comfortable and inviting. There are a couple of tables on the OTHER side of the front desk and its really dimly lit. There were some kids sitting there and I definitely would not have wanted my family to sit there. They should make it brighter over there...you can't see anything. I can't wait to go back and eat this again!

I've never been to a Dave's Hot Chicken before so I got a combo that included a tender and a slider. The temperature I selected was medium which was extremely mild and I'm pretty delicate when it comes to seasoning lol. Next time I'll step it up heat wise. I preferred the slider because it had a great tasting sauce on it and you could add pickles. I just enjoyed that mix of flavors. It was a very casual fast food experience, not a restaurant dine in experience and it looked like 90% of everything was takeout FYI. If that's what you're looking for then I absolutely recommend. Great pickup for football watching at home!

It almost seems like Dave's is popping in every corner of MA now. But I can't complain because they're pretty good. This location is located in Framingham nearby Tennessee bbq place is. Ive had much better Nashville hot chicken before but Dave suffices for being local. They serve really simple Nashville style chicken tendies or sliders. Pics do not show justice--they are fairly large tendies. Every time I've ordered here I always order 3 tendie meal and always regret getting the third lol. The slider is not really a slider... it's about a size of a quarter pounder at McDonald's...seriously. Don't get the hottest level of spice--it's spicy. Appreciate the flavor and get medium or hot. Also check in on Yelp and get a free soft drink or milkshake according to the side shown in store.

If you like chicken sandwiches & spice, Dave's is a must try spot!! Checked out the new location in Framingham on opening night. The staff did seem slightly overwhelmed at the grand opening numbers, but they did a great job weathering the storm. They had food coming out fast & fresh. And they had plenty of workers checking on everyone and ensuring them the long lines would go fast (which they ultimately did). I went with 2 sliders - 1 "Hot" & 1 "Extra Hot". I've gotten "Reaper" a few times at other locations. IMO Reaper is just too hot to fully enjoy, so I stepped down since I was starving and wanted to enjoy my dinner - fresh & delicious... and that Dave's Sauce. So good!! It is a little bit smaller inside than I anticipated... but overall once the grand opening waves die down, I'm sure it will feel a bit more open. I'm glad there's now a Dave's Hot Chicken closer to me... I'll be making this a regular visit!!

Sometimes I waver on the .5's Yelp doesn't offer. Not up in here! Rock solid 4. Upon entry the vibe is super chill, yet still has a precise attention to detail. Example: some tool videoing his experience near us used his drink to prop his phone. The drink collapsed bc it's not a phone holder...clearly. He left and the mess remained. Within 2 minutes tops an employee was cleaning up the disaster left behind. I digress. The menu is simple and clearly explained for ordering chicken to your delight. I opted for the medium heat on a number 3 (one tender one slider). Chicken is VERY clearly the star of every dish. However, the fries are not overlooked!! So perfectly cooked and seasoned. Mwuh chefs kiss aha the service was quick as well. Overall, a total pleasure. Highest recommendation. Bon appetite!

Walking in here... it feels like you're stepping onto the set of that movie, Idiocracy. Zero organization. Graffiti type of art all over the walls... BLASTING insanely loud oldies music. Who thought of this concept? And why? What is this place supposed to be? What's the theme they're goin for here? I got two sliders: one hot, one medium. I couldn't tell the difference. Both were extremely underwhelming and thrown together. The sliders don't even make sense. One massively thick and long chicken tender smooshed into a bun. It's like putting a banana between two ritz crackers. The takeout container it came in had greasy fingerprints all over the outside of it. Every trash can was overflowing. Open wet floor signs in the middle of the floor that every third person trips on... set on a clearly dry floor. This place is sheer chaos. I'd skip it. UPDATE: Wow! So the Customer Service team reached out (as you can see here) and asked that I follow up with them. But then just try and find the Framingham location via that link. Nope. The location has been open for 3 months but does not appear on their "Contact Us" site. What a joke!

Had to see what all the hype was about. 16 minutes for one sandwich with no drink is a lot, particularly at 2 PM on a weekday. The signage is good, and the music is cool. I found the chicken to be as advertised, medium was damn spicy. The cheese and the sauce are good, the fries were excellent. Didn't think I would like the pickles, but they fit. Feel sad for people who eat this more than once a month, but I understand there is a place for this in this crazy world. May return to try the shake.

I wasn't prepared to like this as much as I did! I knew it would be decent, and I needed a fast meal. I tried to leverage my expectations as I know TikTok overhypes things and it's still ultimately fast food. But man, this was fun. I don't know if corporate picks the jams or if they let the employees take the reins, but they played a great and eclectic mix (Marty Robbins, Phil Collins, and CSNY at my visit) and the braggadocio of the decor was pretty cute. The food was great -- can't complain about a fresh seasoned crinkle fry, the sauce had more acidity than I anticipated, and the tenders were gigantic and very meaty, with a pleasant heat. We both loved the slaw, too. Crunchy and fresh and not too much mayo. Truthfully, what really cinched the visit was the staff -- they just seemed happy to be there. I don't need employees to be specifically friendly to me, but it makes me relaxed and feel good to see them joking around and looking like they're able to relax and enjoy work. I know service workers are often not treated well by management, and I hope they are here. But the folks at the front and in the kitchen really made my night.

I tried out the new Dave's Hot Chicken in Framingham. (Site of the former Papa Gino's, next to Auto Zone) I ordered the Dave's #3. "Hot" level. (You get to pick your heat level) The Dave's # 3 gets you... 1-Slider w/slaw,pickle & sauce 1-Tender Fries Pickles I also ordered some Mac & Cheese for my daughter at home. She can post her own review on that. I focused on my main order. My thoughts on each component: "Dave's Chicken Slider". Excellent! Nice sized piece of white meat/breast. Crispy and super temp hot & juicy! Really good slider Nice slaw & pickles too. A good sandwich. 9/10 on the Slider. I think the "hot" level of seasoning is perfect for me. There are two more levels above "very hot" and "reaper". Those would probably be too hot for me. This level leaves a nice tingle on lips and tongue. Dave's Fries: Very typical crinkle style fries. Crispy. Fine. Nothing special about them, but what you should expect for fries. 7/10 on the fries. Totally serviceable. But you don't come here just for the fries. (Bonus tip: You can order them with cheese sauce on them if you want.) I didn't. Dave's Tender: This is my chance to just taste the chicken. No slaw, sauce or pickles to get in the way. I'm really impressed with the chicken. Very juicy and well seasoned. Again, I like the level of heat I selected. A very Crispy tender. And there is also a very slight sweetness to the initial bite. 9/10 on the Tender. Inside the restaurant vibe: Definitely a cool spot. Good music. Fun interior. Wall murals are fun to look at. There is room for about 50 ppl to sit and eat. 8/10 on the inside vibe. Summary review. I like this place. If you want spice with your chicken....I'd pick this place over Chik-Fil-A for sure. Dave's has a much more limited menu than CFA, but they do offer a couple shakes. But without a monster drive through operation like CFA has got going, Daves probably won't be too much competition overall, but in a head to head comparison for a spicy chicken chicken sando, I'd choose Dave's. That's it!!!!
