Dave's is probably my favorite of all the hot chicken chains. Being hungry after work late one night I was pleased so see this Dave's location still open at 10pm. I ordered a single slider and a small chocolate milkshake. Dave's has several choices for spiciness and I chose "mild" and also added cheese to my sandwich. Even though they call them "sliders" the chicken & bun are good sized and plenty for a late night snack. The chicken was tender and moist, seasoned perfectly, and served piping hot. The slaw and pickles add to the overall flavor enjoyment. They make a respectable shake here, thick and tasty. The interior of this one is has only 6 or 7 tables and sparse in decor. The restroom requires a code, which didn't seem to help much as it was a complete mess. As it is in a shopping center there is plenty of stress-free parking. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and I observed them to be quite patient while taking orders. This location of Dave's adds to the chain's consistently good food and service. read more

Dave's hot chicken was bomblicious!!!!! A couple of friends recommended this place and well they were right on with this one. I ordered the Dave's #4 Slider with fries. One thing I asked was to not put pickles or give me any pickles. I did request instead of regular fries to have them replaced with cheese fries. You get to chose the level of spicy for your chicken. The fact that the chicken is juicy and not dry like at some places already has eon me over!!! The location is neat to dine in and admire some of the art inside the location. Clean definitely and also have outside seating! The staff is nice and friendly. Definitely will be coming back to try more of their menu. read more

I typically dine at the Anaheim location, but I was pressed for time, and this one is closer to my house. I brought my husband for the first time, and he loved the food. He got mild tenders, and I got no spice. We shared cheese fries, and each had our own kale slaw. The food was good, but the ambiance was just okay. Our order was slightly wrong, but the staff was friendly and quickly fixed it. The tables were a bit dirty. I was also bummed that this location doesn't serve beer, as my husband and I were craving a beer with our chicken. The parking lot here is a little sketch, so be careful of your surroundings. Overall, this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner, but I do prefer the Anaheim location near the stadium. read more

Well operating location for the 3rd day being open! There was a line going out the door during Saturday's lunch rush, but it seems the staff are well trained. The front counter is a very awkward: you pick up your order in between the cashier stands, so you'd have to walk in between everybody in line. The food is the same as all the other locations. I opted to order only 2 sliders because the fries here aren't good at all. Selena (Celina?) was a great cashier though, and she successfully upsold me to the combo, and said I could sub the fries for Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was good, kinda tasted like Popeye's. The only issue I see across all locations is the spice levels. The reaper is amazingly spicy, but it's too much to eat consistently. The extra hot, though, just isn't spicy enough. I'd like to see them improve on their development on the fries & spice levels. The issue at this location: the owners didn't put enough thought into designing the front to improve foot traffic. read more

The food is good but I think this location needs to work on a few things. First, if your employees are going to wear a mask they need to speak up when calling out order numbers or a microphone needs to be used. The music is super loud in the restaurant so people can't hear soft speakers especially when wearing a mask. Either tell the counter person to ditch the mask, speak up, lower the music volume or use a microphone. Second, there should be 2 counter employees every shift, or at least on busy days/nights. If one is taking orders the other is checking and bagging orders. We have been to this new location multiple times, as always food is good but takes forever. There always only one counter person who's too busy taking orders and food sits on the window and many people are waiting. Even online orders are delayed because the counter employee is too busy taking orders. read more

Sauces are lacking as well, but they have sauce packets that you can add to your sandwich. -- Chicken Tenders = it looks plain, but I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy these were!!!! Absolutely love this place! For a fast food chicken sandwich, it's the best one I've had so far. The chicken is always so juicy and filling. It's a little expensive but you definitely will be full. I always get the slider and 1 tender spice level: Hot combo. The slider is more than enough, and the tender is for a snack later! Fries are also very crispy and airy. I'm not a fan of crinkle cut but these are great. Perfectly seasoned as well. I'm also not a fan of pickles but I like the ones here. They are fresh and never soggy or stale. Usually I ask for chicken sandwiches without pickles but these are great with the sandwich. Staff is very kind and friendly! They never forgot anything and they always give extra sauce. The Dave's sauce is really good too. I'm not a fan of most specialty sauces (chick fil a sauce, thousand island, In n Out spread) but I love this one on the chicken and fries! The only down side of the menu is the Mac and cheese. It was plastic tasting and a little overdone. I would prefer other fast food mac like Chick Fil A. Definitely check this place out!
