Becoming more popular of a chain restaurant! Dave's hot chicken hits the spot if you're craving some good filet tenders with heat. This location felt brand new with quick service and nice indoor and outdoor seating. Chicken was cooked well and the medium had enough heat for me. The sandwich was pretty basic as well as the fries but their special sauce helps add a little extra. Overall not a bad stop every once in awhile but hard to beat your classic chicken tender basket for the same price.

So immediately when you walk in you are greeted with the coolest graffiti art on the walls and it's so vibrant and just all around cool. Then you're immediately greeted with the best customer service I have seen in a long time. So I had to try this place because I kept seeing the viral videos of everyone saying it's the best chicken ever and the way it looked as well as the sauce. So when I was in the area and saw that it it was right next to Dave and busters, we opted to eat there vs Dave and busters. I ordered a Dave's number 1 which consisted of two chicken tenders (you choose your hotness I of course went with medium hoping it would be spicy but not too spicy), seasoned fries, yummy pickles m, two slices of white bread and their special sauce. Our food didn't really take no time to come out and it was very fresh. The chicken tenders were very crispy and juicy but I will say I was quite disappointed because of the hype, they really weren't all that amazing. They were just okay. I would give them a 6.5/10, the fries were absolutely delicious, the flavor and the crisp of them just delicious, I did like the sauce it was pretty good. I have no idea what it was made of. And of course the pickles were so yum! I love love pickles and these were perfect. Overall my experience was good service was beyond amazing. The food was good but not viral and go out of my way good. Would I go back, yes but only if it was on my way or in the area I'm shopping.

Dave, you evil, evil dude. Yo chicken is HOT! Dave's is a pretty cool spot with some hot chicken. Menu options are pretty straightforward. I got the #3, which is a tender, a sandwich, and fries. I ordered mine hot cause I like the spice. The presentation of the food is decent; all your goodies come in a basket with a side of sauce. The chicken appears to be fried, sauced, and then shaken down with some dry spices, and let me tell you, hot means hot. I can not imagine the two hotter offerings as this level nearly melted my will to live. I'm talking, hot, like curse Dave's name for the next two days hot. Overall, it's good stuff, not Nashville Hot Chicken, nor do they claim to be. I made this connection and was expecting Nashville style, and it's close but less saucy. The place is clean and efficient. Red chairs and simple decor are what you should expect. The staff was super nice and helpful, which always makes me want to come back.

Alright the time has come. I get to try one of the other famous hot chicken places. In my mind the top three are Prince's, Hattie B's, and Dave's. In that order. I have tried the OG Prince's in Nashville and it was incredible. Exactly what hot chicken should be but honestly could be hotter (I ordered the straight hot when I went). Now, for Dave's. I got into this new location after placing a mobile order. The mobile order was super fast. I got to the counter to pick up and the counter person finished packing up an order (the place was full but not crowded) and a woman came in after me and the person at the counter proceed to help the woman first. Odd first impression of this place but I got helped by another counter person quickly after. I picked up my food and took it home. The meal was a good size and I think based on the amount of food you are getting, priced accordingly. My whole order consisted of the tender and slider combo with fries (both hot level), another tender and slider combo but with a medium tender and a hot slider (for my wife), a side of kale slaw, and two extra packets of Dave's Sauce though I got three which was cool. The chicken is...hot! I normally think that "hot" level is slightly lacking (unless maybe with Thai food) but this was actually what I would consider hot. It burned my lips and got my nose running by the end of the meal. It didn't burn my entire mouth and the heat disappeared after a bit of not eating. Exactly the spice level it should be. If you are unsure about your ability to handle heat, for sure go medium to be safe. I would for sure try the extra hot as well just to see how the heat levels up from the hot. All aspects of the meal were cooked very well. The slider was for sure my favorite between the tender and slider and on a repeat visit I would probably just get a slider or two. The slaw was good. Fries were good. Everything was really good...but not great. Does this place warrant a special trip if it is out of your way? Probably not. Is it better than the OG Prince's in Nashville? For sure not. The best way I can think about it is if you got mild or no spice it would be a slightly elevated Raising Cane's. Everything tasted fresh and was good but nothing stood out as a WOW. As I mentioned above though, I would eat here again. If you are a hot chicken fan don't miss this place. If you feel comfortable with the chicken shops that you already frequent, that is fine too. You aren't going to regret not going here. I enjoyed my meal though this go-round.

Dave's Hot Chicken now offers nuggets. These are a great option for kids! $9.99 for 10 nuggets, fries, bread, sauce and pickles.

Service was very patient and answered all my questions since it was my first time. The inside was a little crowded in terms of seating. I felt like I was right on top of the people at the table over. I got a Dave's #1. It was 2 medium heat tenders, fries, no pickles, Daves sauce, and 2 pieces of bread. Chicken was very thick pieces and two was definitely enough. The flavor was nothing crazy and it was very messy if you eat with your fingers. Medium heat was similar to buffalo sauce heat. The fries were seasoned nice but needed a little salt. Bread was just plain white bread and no flavor. Dave's sauce was sweet but was missing some salt and umami. I got an Oreo topped milkshake and it was the same thing as an Oreo Mcflurry. Overall I wouldn't go back on my own but I wouldn't say no if friends wanted to go.

Definitely hot chicken!!! We stopped here for dinner after seeing the wonderful Insta pics from local foodies. The menu is fairly simple, with a handful of choices plus pick your heat level. We got the #2 combo, which was 2 sliders w/ fries. Even though they are called sliders, I'd say they are bigger than a typical slider, but smaller than a sandwich. You can opt to have each of your sliders a different heat level, if you'd like. We also added on a single chicken strip. For our sliders, we got medium and hot. For the strip, we got hot. The hot is definitely spicy for me, even though I'm used to eating spicy chicken. I don't think I could handle any hotter. Between the hot and medium, I'd say medium is well balanced and just slightly spicier than mild. Overall, I'd definitely recommend trying here for a quick bite of hot chicken!

Pleasantly surprised! If you're a fan of spicy fried chicken, this is a great quick option. The spice is no joke and the rub is really tasty. I like a fair amount of spice and mild was plenty for me, but it's nice you have options to add more or less. I got the single chicken tender that came with pickles, a slice of white bread and dipping sauce. My husband tried the sandwich and we enjoyed both. He also got the chocolate shake which was really good, super creamy and just the right amount of chocolate. I can't speak to the service or ambiance because we ordered delivery, but this will absolutely be a good staple for a quick bite at a reasonable price. Food was packaged safely and still hot when delivered.

The ribs were good- served with a thin bbq sauce that was heavy on the pepper, most of the ribs were nice and meaty. The sweet potato fries were good as well- they serve Kensington ketchup, which is a little more peppery and has a different texture than the usual, I do recommend that over the honey mustard as a dipping sauce. The honey mustard was pretty heavy on the horseradish. My husband got the slider variety. The burger had a thousand island based sauce on it that made it a little different from the usual burger. The regular chicken sandwich had a lemony flavor to it. I preferred the hot chicken sandwich- the heat creeped up on you but it was good! Their chicken was super thick and juicy- probably my favorite part of the meal. The fry portions were huge. Service at the counter and at the table was very sweet and helpful. She even brought us some ketchup packets to take home so we could see what kind of ketchup they served. Loved the giant pickleballs in the stairwell- what a cute decor choice! It is pretty standard set up like you would expect from a place like such (think bowling alleys, Top Golf, Dave & Buster, etc.) although Chicken N Pickle is HUGE, I almost got lost exploring the place. This is their advantage because you can hang out inside or outside depending on your mood! Inside is obviously where the pickleball courts are. For a large place, I feel there still isn't enough courts. And the courts are too close to each other. When you have recreational family playing who has never played before, half the time is spent on picking up each other's ball from across the courts! The food was ok, nothing to write home about, including the chicken. One nice thing about them is that they did allow us to bring a cake to celebrate the birthdays. Very excited to see ping pong tables out in the lawn area. Though the tables and paddles are terrible, not the standard ping pong materials. Needless to say, when the ball lands on the lawn, there's no bounce. So they should really switch up the placement of the sports and have ping pong be indoors (players will thank you on those windy days) and more outdoor pickleball courts.

The sound and the joy gave off such a great vibe immediately when walking into this establishment. This review is based on a sit down dinner and a take out on another night because our sit down was so good! Here's all that we tried: POST CHEDDAR BISCUITS - hot and cheesy - these were not as flakey as they looked like they were going to be. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS - sweet and spicy peppers, garlic mojo, cotija cheese | *a portion of sales from this item go to Zero Foodprint -- an org working to combat climate change in the food & beverage industry - these were good, great crispiness, char was flavorful and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Subsequently, I made a hash for breakfast with leftovers from here and these proved to be GOOD flavoring. GREEN CHILE BISON SAUSAGE BOARD (LAFAYETTE) - Rock river bison sausages, hard boiled eggs, dill pickles, bread and butter pickle relish, baked baguette, peach honey mustard - I'm a sucker for charcuterie, the bison sausage was so delicious, I ordered another after we finished the first. This also went into the next day hash! FRIED HALF CHICKEN - our famous gluten free fried chicken, choice of side, pickles, and a biscuit - ordered this on or second visit (takeout night) and did not regret a thing. It was fantastically fried to crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy and tasted like they brined it in pickle juice. CHICKEN TENDERS - all natural tenders, breaded and fried, served with ranch - good chicken, also went into the hash. OG POST BURGER*- american cheese, bacon onion jam, special sauce, griddled sourdough english muffin & fries - good burger, personally, I'd appreciate better cheese! QUINOA & KALE - quinoa, kale, arugula, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, toasted sesame and sunflower crunch, lemon tahini dressing - the dressing MADE this salad, good job Chef! PUEBLO GREEN CHILE MAC & CHEESE - nothing spectacular, I would have liked this with more green chile and a better cheese base.
