Love Jersey Miles, but not this location. Came in for a sandwich waited at the front counter for awhile. The guy working the grill acknowledged me and then told them in the back twice someone was at the counter. Just getting ready to leave when I was asked what I wanted. As I was checking out the guy that made the sandwich made a snide/un-called from comment about the tip I left. Not only did I hear it so did the rest of the people inside. As somebody who's worked in the restaurant for 25 plus years that is totally unacceptable and I tip accordingly. read more

Ordered online at 12:11. Ordered two hot sandwiches. Supposed to be done at 12:26. One of my Sandwiches was done at 12:26. I received the second one 30 minutes later. The employee told me they could only make a few sandwiches at a time on the grill but we're making sandwiches for people walking in. In all honesty 5 stars is an understatement to the service and food that's consistently provided. I work in a neighboring office and find my self always heading to jersey mikes. The staff always are super upbeat with a smile on there faces even on there busy days. I very special shout out to Aidan M. an absolutely outstanding team member that always goes above and beyond when helping me out weather it be suggesting new menu ideas to try or even explaining the benefits of becoming a member. Being there with everyone even if it's just ordering a sandwich feels bright and homey even. Everything here at Jersey Mikes went smooth. Your sandwich is made in an assembly line style, starting with the bread then it moves down to the next employee that places the meats and cheeses and then on down to the next employee that does the veggies and sauces then it gets wrapped up and off to the cashier, who quickly checks you out and youre on your way. the whole process takes less than 5- 10 mins. This sub shop is different than others since they slice the meat on a meat slicer right in front of you, just as if you were at a deli. read more

So this place is my 2nd favorite next to Silver Mine Subs. I loved this and it was top on my list, but I needed to compare it side by said the same day as my new favorite sub place. So I got a turkey sandwich done Mikes Way, which is all the fixing and I got a Kahuna Cheese steak then headed over to the other place. Well I do like this place and I love that they have the meat sliced right in front of you and how thin it is, but SMS- Silver Mine Subs, also has thin meet, but added bonus is they use alfalfa sprouts. I've eaten here numerous times in the past since they opened up, but the only thing I don't care for is the grittyness of their white bread. I don't know if all their breads have the gritty outside feel because I always get white, but it just feels like my hands are getting exfoliated and dry. Turkey Sub - really good, but doesn't beat out SMS. Kahuna Cheese steak- would be side be side Equal to SMS if the bread they used didn't feel gritty and rough. Brownie- equally good, but brownies aren't hard to make tasty.. I mean it's chocolate after all. "yuck Chocolate" Says NO ONE EVER! well unless you're allergic or just not HUMAN! I do like how clean the place always is and the beachy like scene is really nice. I also like that they have a rewards program because I get a free sandwich the next time I go in and we've eaten there a lot so we love our freebies. :-) All and all I will still eat here since it is right before jumping on the freeway going to school and coming back home. I get the Original Italian (Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni) Jersey-style Italian sub served "Mike's Way" with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and oregano then add chili pepper relish (CPR) slathered all over the roll. Ordered catering box for my employees for an event a couple of weeks ago. It was a mixture of different sandwiches. Several of my employees that ate the same types of sandwiches immediately got sick throwing up and had to send them home. Called the store immediately. Person that answered the phone was apologetic as I just wanted them to know there was a potential the meat was bad. The following Monday the store manager called me and was quite the opposite stating my employees could not have gotten sick from the sandwiches as food poisoning doesn't set in for a ouple of days. Which is false by the way. Staph from sliced meats can make folks sick within 30 mins. But that would be why they manage a Jersey Mikes and they are not a doctor. I never mentioned food poisoning. I just called to report the potential for something bad so other customers wouldn't get sick. It is just odd my other employees who didn't eat that same sandwich were fine but the ones who ate the same one got sick. Wont be going back to this location at all. read more

The moment I walked into this Westminster establishment, I was stopped dead in my tracks by the overwhelming stench of teen angst - it was as if the employees' raging high school hormones were permeating out of the yesterday's fresh bread that lined the cooling racks. I gulped, attempting to gather the courage necessary to step up to the counter and order my sub. I simply could not. My eyes darted back and forth anxiously. I just couldn't do it. I coaxed my girlfriend over to order before me, telling her that I needed more time to decide exactly which sandwich was perfect for me; which sandwich would fulfill my deli needs. I spotted a young man behind the counter, only halfway in view. All I needed to see was his headwear. Upon his hire, he had chosen to boast a visor instead of the classic hat that the other employees wore. A feeling of uneasiness slowly began to gnaw at the pit of my stomach. The young man's hair was also pushed above the top of the visor. I had to put my hand on my girlfriend's shoulder to right myself; for when I discovered this, my knees buckled in astonishment and I nearly had to take a knee at the cashier's station. "Should I get the Big Kahuna or the Philly Cheese Steak?" She asked the green haired cashier. A simple question. As basic as yes or no. That was all. One, or two? Black, or white? Sí, o no? This was absolutely not the case for the cashier. Instead, the cashier recommended a ghastly franken-wich, a mixture of the two. I turned away in disgust, cupping my hands over my ears to silence the horrors I had been forced to behold. She ordered it. With trembling fingers, I pointed to the #10 combo: The Italian Cold Cut. As we walked to the soda machine, we discovered that all of the lid sizes were off by a centimeter in diameter. In order to lid our sodas, we had to slightly fold in part of the rim of our cups. I managed to lid mine, and when I looked up, I was making eye contact with the visor boy. I fought back vomit and squeezed my eyes shut until the nausea subsided - I DID NOT TRUST THIS VISOR. His every movement was a testament to the evil that lives deep within us all. It was as if his hair was MOCKING me, PICKING at my deepest feelings of uncertainty. I am not sure how I made it through this meal. I chewed each bite frantically, doused in a cold sweat that chilled the very core of my being. The juices that dripped from my girlfriend's sandwich rained onto her sandwich foil the way pigs blood splatters the floors of a slaughterhouse. My pupils dilated as each drop hit the foil - Cathartic. Macabre. "May The Lord have mercy on our souls," I whispered breathlessly as we walked out of the establishment back into the light of the living world. My girlfriend enjoyed her sandwich and so did I! Yeah, I'm giving 5 stars to a sub place.... I stopped up here at lunch, and walking in thinking this is just a different version of subway, ordered my philly cheese steak and left. I rushed back to my office and was immediately on a meeting, so I ate my sandwich absentmindedly. Before I knew it , I looked down and it was almost gone and it hit me.... this sadness.... that it was almost gone!!! Decided to stop by this place on a whim, one Saturday evening. I split a giant chipotle chicken cheesesteak with my better half. We forced ourselves to finish the sub, but it could have easily fed 3 hungry people. The sandwich had to be ~16-17 inches! The price was reasonable for the size, around $12ish? Honestly, I have no idea because I didn't pay... :) Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the hot sub and will be back for more! read more

I'm here all the time. Love my club sub. Just wish they would get with the times and upgrade that junk credit card reader with one that actually works. The left side of the mag strip reader is about 50/50. Apple Pay has never once worked on the first try, and always requires a second attempt. The chip reader still isn't used, even though it's been three years since the liability shift for credit cards. When I Was there the other day, Apple Pay would not work at all. It would not read the mag stripe on my card. You could see the embarrassment on the cashier's face. I could tell by the way she was talking that she was thinking, "Yeah, that thing sucks, it causes us problems all day long. I wish my boss would replace it". The anger of the people behind me was palpable since I tried to pay literally 10 different times. Finally I pull out a card I never use, and it works on the second try. If only the card reader worked. Regardless... Absolutely love Jersey Mike's, and this one deserves 5 stars. read more

I'm from jersey and never knew this place existed out of that state! I took my boyfriend there and it was his first time. The staff was so amazingly friendly. They gave us a "first time" free drink and chips. They confirmed the order a bunch and even played along so well when my boyfriend gave them a silly name to call out.
