Have been going here for sometime. I ask for Annie, nice lady does a great job with my mani/pedi. I've even had my eyebrows done by her and wanted all three services this time. I know how busy they get so wednesday I made an appt and asked for Annie. On arrival for my 2:00 pm appt on Saturday 6/20, another customer walks in and is greeted by Annie. At this point they are looking at the schedule and telling me I didn't make an appointment and the other customer was there yesterday and booked her today at 2:00. Needless to say, I wasn't going to argue. Said farewell and went across the parking lot to the new nail spot Nail Art Spa. this place is a scam. I went to this filthy place because my friend was shopping in Wal there. I asked for a regular manicure. the manicurist was cutting my nails while at the same time watching a show on her phone vi asked her to stop because I was afraid she was going to cut my skin. then when it was time to pay I was told I owed $30. I said for a regular manicure. she said she gave me a gel. I told her I didn't want a gel. she said last time I was there I got a gel. Made an appointment with Mimi for 1:45 and she started with me exactly on time! This was the first time I've been to this place that it wasn't crazy busy so that might be why I got in right away. There have been times when I've waited as long as an hour just for them to start on me. The place is okay, it's inside of a Walmart, so it's not a typical spa experience that you would expect and it's very small. There are only two pedicure chairs and not too many spots for manicures. They say that they do waxing, but I can't see where they would do that in the tiny area. Regardless of the place itself, every time I've been here I have never left disappointed. I waited to write a review to see how my nails would hold up. I got pink and white acrylic ombré nails on June first. Today is June 23 and they are still perfect! No lifting, no cracks or breaks. I forgot the woman's name but she's great! I'm going for a fill in this week, but these nails hold up so well! This was my place to go when I kept up with my nails. They are affordable and they do a great job. They are great at doing designs on fingers and toes. I always got acrylic and went back for fill ins. They know what they are doing. The owner is nice and got to recognize me. They do a good job on waxing eye brows too. However, there is always a long wait, even if you call ahead. They try their best to make you happy and get you in. Very disappointing. I was there at 10 on the dot when they opened for a gel manicure . Took me right away because they were all just sitting around. When other people started coming in the woman started to get flustered and overwhelmed. She finished my gel manicure. My nails were very sharp and jagged , I did not get even lotion rubbed on my hands never mind a massage and the whole nail was not painted just the middle. Mai is the owner currently and is really good at accommodating all walk-ins and spur of the moment calls. I have always loved the work that the ladies do on my LCN gel manicures. Worst nail salon I have ever been to. I had an appointment for gel fill in and pedicure. The technician they gave me was incompetent for uv gel. She was inexperienced with the filing machine and messed up my nails on one hand. I complained and had another technician do my nails. They were angry starting talking in Korean and laughing pretty sure it was about me. the second tech was older and so annoyed with me she was rough with my hands. They gave me an extremely hard time for not wanting gel polish. I simply do not like the up-keep of the gel polish and would prefer to be able to easily take the polish off when it chips. They raised the price of a regular manicure simply because I asked for no gel. The woman who berated me for it, I'm presuming a manager or possibly owner, was yelling at me about it across the salon (we were in two different rows) so everyone heard her questioning me why I didn't want gel polish. It was extremely embarrassing. The woman who did my nails was very nice, but did not do a good paint job - she did not even put a top coat on my nails. I asked for a single color with a stripe going across the nail. They had two different women do my nails, one for the single color, one for the stripe. I've gone here multiple times and to be honest, they haven't done a great job. They are definitely overworked and tired. The man who did my nails the last time I was there was huffing and puffing and miserable the entire time he was painting my nails. The paint job wasn't good either unfortunately. Paint was on my cuticles and my nails weren't filed even. :/ I have to agree with the other comments that this place is kind of dirty. There are tools in cups at the tables covered in nail dust. I think they would do better AWAY from Walmart because they just have too many people going in and out and they can't do a decent job because of it. I've tried this place a few times and they don't recognize you or care that you keep coming back. I had to get my nails re-done three days after they were painted at a better nail salon. What sucks is that I drove 20 mins out of my way and the better one is 5 mins away!! They've lost my business after this last visit. :( read more

First of all, Ive been going here for atleast 2years. I would mainly see Tina. Ive also seen Julie & Mimi.. They were great! Im not gonna lie, Tina is amazing! I always walked out of there w a smile on my face.... Untill my last visit.... I had an appointment, i knew i was gonna be a little late, so i called & told her i was gonna be maybe 10-15mins late.. She said ok.... & When i got there, she was gonna have me come in the next day, trying to tell me i was 30mins late, after all the times ive went to her w an appointment, always, & i would have to wait 15-30mins sometimes, but i wouldn't mind.... & I walked out that day, but because it wasnt even 2weeks after i just saw her, & it was the second time it happened that the gel chipped on my one nail, as well as the acrylic cracking in the middle of another one of my nails, starting to lift & i needed a new set than & there & She tried pushing me away.... So, i walked out, called Julie, the head honcho, & she told me she was sorry about it & to come back in. I went back in, got my full set by Tina, while she was doing another ladies nails as well than tried charging me $75 which ive never paid that much for a new set, again ive been going there for 2years!! She started working on me and would be with me for 2 min before getting up and moving to someone else. This went on for 40 minutes. Told me 20 minute wait, it was over an hour, no seats to wait in. As soon as I sat down, the tech asked me to pay. Bad nail polish, mock of OPI called QRS, clumpy and didn't dry. My cuticles were covered in polish, I figured the technician would fix that, NOPE. I asked for black glitter, and what I got was a black nail polish, that had glitter in it over the messy pink. I go here because it is super cheap. I get an acrylic fill with a french and gel over it for $22. It really depends on who you get at Davi Nails. I've had some crappy looking nails sometimes when I walk out of there, but for the most part they do okay. They do excellent pedicure though, my feet felt so smooth after and it was only $21. Yesterday I went in and I had someone new I asked to have my nails a little bit wide nothing crazy...just not so much narrow...long story my nails we're triangles...not only that but I wanted a simple flower design and the girl...who told me from her own mouth she has been doing nails for a long time could not do the flower so I did not get even close to what I wanted and still payed an outrageous amount of money for them...I thought i could deal with them until the next fill but there was no way. I went back today. .the next day...Julie...the owner asked why I didn't say anything last night I explained that I had already been there the previous night for 2 hours even after calling days in advance for an appointment and I had dinner plans at a certain time...not only that but me not being one to complain I was gunna try to deal with it...she would not fix my nails...I used to love this place but now after this experience and how rude the owner was I will not be back. ive been here several times, cheap efficient but unfortunately today is my last time. today i came to get a fill in a brought my mother in law who is visiting from romania to get a pedicure. she doesnt speak english so i tune in to what she is doing to ensure she is okay. they said her toes were dry and sent her on her way but unfortunately when we got home paint was all over her toes. no big deal but since it is new years we went back to get them fixed. i walked in and explained what happend and the owner (at least i think she is) starting getting loud in front of all the customers embarrassing my mother in law, myself and in front of my 4 year old. i figured i would be able to get them fixed even if i had to pay more and maybe get my little ones nails painted but no... i got my backside handed to me in front of an entire store. never again... i would think they would have been more sensitive to people who arent from the US. read more
