Found this place right next to Legend Noodle (Pho). So I stopped by since I needed new lenses, after eating. Great looking store, bright, clean, a big store with mirrors everywhere and tons of selection from inexpensive stuff to brand names. I was greeted immediately and was politely quoted a price of $30 within 30-40 min. I came back next week and was quoted $50 for the exact same thing by another gentleman who spoke little English. He said it rather matter of factly as if there was no other choice. I told him I was quoted $30. He explained to me that are actually two choices of lenses and the more expensive ones were thinner. He tried to sell me the $50 pair and pretended he didn't understand me when I decided on the $30 lenses repeating "$50 right" like three times which I replied "no 30" each time. I was told they would be ready in two days, I came here to get them done in 30-40min. Whatever....I was then told someone would call when finished. No one calls, so I call back in two days to be told that they would be done the next day because "someone has to start working on them", I was told they would call. No one calls so I go down there the next day to get a refund or my glasses. When I get there they are finished. I was given my glasses and then the guys walks away, literally. He comes back because I haven't moved and I ask him for my case back as well and to clean the freaking fingerprints off the glasses. Before I leave he tells me come back if I need anything else...serious! Horrible experience from start to finish save time, money and frustration, skip this place pho sho after you get pho from next door. The lady who helped me with my contact lenses was very friendly (I am guessing she is the owner). I don't care much for the older guy there and got the impression that he did not really care for contact lense wearers because I guess there isn't a lot of money in it. My mom got her glasses here- it was a really good deal (paid about a 100 bucks for frames AND an eye exam) so she plans on coming back here for her next ones. My experience with them was pretty positive too. When I am here for my contact lenses (I use daily ones so I have to keep ordering new boxes) I am always greeted and someone usually helps me right away. read more

I went in to see if they could fix my crooked glasses. It was kind of embarrassing going in with my taped up glasses, but the guy there was really helpful and had my glasses fixed and cleaned in less than ten minutes. I've been coming here for over 2 years. Never had many problem with there customer service till today. Gentleman name by JOHN (Korean guy) called me was so rude and so demanding I couldn't believe the way he was talking to me. He was demanding when and why I wasn't coming by to make a deposit on my contact lens I placed over the phone. Came by to make the deposit and couldn't believe what this guy JOHN said to me. Instead of saying his sorry for the way he was talking to me over the phone. He was giving the attitude and still being rude. Telling me I placed order before and didn't come to pick up my lens. That's why he was demanding deposit. That's Bullshit! This guy john is new. He used to work at GERMANY opt on Olympic Blvd. I've seen him there before. I've never ordered and never picked up my lens before. Even if that's the case you don't tell your customer to "GO SOMEWHERE ELSE"!! WTH Yeah that's what this guy JOHN said to me!! @'GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I was so shock I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Wow. No business class! Advise to the owner and the manager!! Davich has chosen a wrong optometrist to work with. Julie Kim is very unprofessional and greedy because she tries to profit on eye examination fees, and Davich Optical facilitates the cheating by failing to correct the situation. They said, we don't do the examination ourselves, so you better talk to Julie about your prescription. But aren't you sending customers to Julie on a contractual basis? Duh...? It's not okay to willfully ignore bad faith dealings of someone that you work with!! Just because you guys do two different types of work, it doesn't mean that you are always off the hook when the other partner screws up on her part! If you need to get your eyes checked and/or need glasses - LOOK no further. This place does everything on site. Every place i've ever had my eyes checked at, has made me wait to get the lenses put into my glasses. This place does it on site, in less than an hour. Second, they can see you quickly and they don't waste your time. The price of getting your eyes checked and getting examined for glasses is all put towards getting a pair of glasses if you want, so yet another good reason to go to this place and do everything at once. I was impressed with their selection of glasses and their staff is so helpful. This is a family owned business and the doctor is a wonderful man who is patient and knowledgeable. He made this fun, fast and easy. I am in law school and have no time to waste and needed to have my eyes checked, and have all of my glasses replaced with new lenses. Hello Everyone, Davi has Optical gave me the best service the eye exam we'd done fast and accurately to the point i'm over sixty and i can see like i'm 19years old! I love the store it's spread out nice and you have access to every frame in the store even in glass cases! Very nice to spend your time trying things on without sales people bothering you or having to find keys to open up locks to view. It's a great place and my new frames i brought with me and they discounted the amount of my eye exam off of the lenses i had put into frames i already owned. I've been going here since 2015, but it is only recently that I have decided to get contacts!! I walked in without an appointment and then told the employees that I was interested in getting contacts (first-time). Looking around the store, I noticed that they carry a wide selection of glasses, which are sectioned by price. After looking around for a little bit and drinking the hot chocolate dispensed by the machine (which also dispenses coffee), the doctor called for me. I did a quick prescription check-up with Dr. Dickson Chen and was able to go on a month long trial for my contacts to see if I would like it. I got free solution and a contacts case. The examination AND contacts are $80-100. At first, I was absolutely TERRIBLE at removing my contacts. I came back day after day for almost three days to practice removing my contacts. I was finally able to get it!! The people helping me were SO patient, kind, and funny. I feel confident in my contacts. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family, and I look forward to continue going here for all of my optical needs. read more

Davich has good service at a reasonable price. I called around looking for lenses for my prescription sunglasses and they are the cheapest place I've found. The service is good too, if you get a English speaking sales person or English speaking phone answerer. Every time I come here I am immediately greeted when I come in, although I like browsing by myself I enjoy the courteous service. Also when my lenses would pop out (there fault for not cutting it completely) they would fix it for free no questions asked. Plus if you spend $45 or more you get a free eye glass exam. read more

I thought this place was great for my needs- my teenage daughter is prone to lose her glasses and I didn't want to spend $400 on something that may be gone in a week. For $160 we were able to get very nice chic frames and shatterproof antiglare lenses with an exam. So the time to wait is about 20 mins for a pair each and also the staff is very helpful to each and every one of its customers. There's lots of different frame choices to choose from;especially because they expanded their space. The price range is pretty affordable. It ranges from $50, $100, and $150. But be warned, they do not accept any insurance to cover your frames. Also, the mini cafe is nice lol (its just a coffee/hot drink machine). Oh and the optometry is next door and the eye doctor's pretty chill! This is my first time coming here but I'd come here again for sure! :) People who are giving bad reviews about the staff should understand that the staff make mistakes too and we should just imagine if we were in their shoes. read more

This place is amazing ! I walked out with an exam for both eyeglasses + contacts +lenses for my glasses for exactly $100 dollars. You can't even get a better deal than Valley community clinic ! They have the cheaper $50 dollar frames & they have a big selection to chose from and that are very stylish and current with the times.While waiting I noticed a few customers were going for the cheaper priced frames. They were not treated any lesser than the customers buying the more expensive frames.That's when I knew this place was legit .It's a relief to know that there is still quality service and kindliness in such a high traffic area. The exam doctors were so nice ,patient and polite.They are so attentive to your needs . Even after their operating hours she made time for my contacts exam. Dr. Chen is the man!!! He's really great, patient, and friendly. He listens to you and actually tries to accommodate you based on what you want not what he thinks you want and he actually cares how you feel about your decision and how comfortable you feel with it. He keeps an amazingly clean shop everything is in order and with all the selections he has I wouldn't see why you would go anywhere else and it's definitely no cluttered that's for sure. Noel is absolutely the best and he definitely doesn't rush you I came in yesterday at 7 and they close at 7:30pm but I didn't leave till 15 minutes after they closed and I didn't feel like I was being forced to make a decision because they wanted to go home. I've been coming here to get my eye exams and pair of glasses for about two years now. Since I've made my switch from Costco and honestly been the best decision I've made. I was surprised to find out that you can actually get your eyes examined and if they have your lenses in stock, get a new pair of glasses the same day! So on my recent visitation, I walked in and this guy name Howard helped me out on some of the questions I had in mind. I asked him if it was possible to keep my glasses but just exchange my lens and he told me that it would be best to just get a brand new pair since my glasses were already considered 'damaged'. At the same time I was sitting there thinking to myself "I know it's possible to get a replacement and keep the same style of glasses..." So I was polite and said thank you. Before I left, I had to double check and ask another sales person the same question and she said it was possible!! I knew it! I wasn't talking crazy lol. The customer service provided by her is why I will continue to visit this place and get my eyes examined. She was so helpful and honest with me and that's what I look for. The guy who helped me didn't seem to find a solution for me.. unfortunately.. but over all, it was a good experience. There's a wide selection of glasses you can choose from.
