I would give 10 stars if I could! I've been putting off getting my prescription updated for so long. I finally put my big girl panties on and went in to see Davich Optical. My boyfriend also came along since he needed an eye exam too. We got there around 12pm and was told he doesn't come in till 2pm. Which was no problem for us since we had the day off but for folks who are on a tight schedule should know that the business hours didn't reflect when you'd actually go in for an eye exam. Again - totally fine with us since we were able to go with the flow. We left to grab some coffee and came back at 2pm. Dr. Chen made the eye appointment super comfortable. I told him I wore contacts too and he let me try a 30 day contacts on the house with my new prescription. He also let me sit in on my boyfriend's exam. I liked how he explained everything and he was easy to talk to. I liked the selection of eyewear and found a cute style that was lightweight and not heavy on my face. While I was sitting in on my boyfriend's exam, Alexa - who was one of the front desk staff came in and was so sweet by asking if I wanted to replace the nose pads on my old glasses because she saw how busted they were and was missing a nose pad on the left side (LOL- I was really due for some new glasses) I just thought it was very thoughtful she noticed and offered to fix it. I was able to pick up my glasses the next day! I appreciated how they also really tailor the glasses to your face. I've been to Warby Parker and another eye exam place in LA and they didn't do any of those measurements like Davich Optical does. My boyfriend needed progressives so his glasses won't be ready for about 2 weeks. Eye exam was $80 but then Dr. Chen gave me a sweet deal for contacts exam too so in total I paid $160 (I think original price is $170) and for glasses I paid about $300ish - I picked a $200 frame with custom blue light filtered and thinning lens. They also applied a $40 credit for the eyeglasses if you get an eye exam. It's been a few days with my new glasses and I love em! Perfect fit and can see so much better :) As long as I'll be in LA, Dr. Chen will be my go to! read more

I got my contacts exam no problem, got a test pair and got a trial pair ordered. Learned how to take the contacts on and off and met the doctor. Went in today to have my Miu Miu sunglasses repaired. The customer service is top notch. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by about 4 employees even those employees that were already seeing customers. As I handed over my sunglasses I was offered coffee. I went to prepare the coffee and sat down. My glasses were repaired by the time I finished half my coffee (about 10 minutes). Since it was a minor fix (inserting a screw) they didn't charge. I really really appreciate this! My sunglasses seem to be more sturdy than before. I'll definitely do business and recommend this business for all eye care needs!
