Ample appointments available, parking is easy (they validate!), and they have the kindest, most courteous staff ever! I really love the staff working in the front and I also really loved working with Dr. Lee. I've never worn contacts before and they made sure to teach me both how to put contacts in and how to remove them. When I was struggling to remove them during the training, they were so patient and encouraging--they even celebrated with me when I finally managed to take my contact out. 1000000000% recommend this optometry office. In late September, I scheduled my first eye exam appointment and contact lens fitting at Masq Optometry. It is conveniently located on the 2nd floor at Madang on Wilshire/Western. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and Donna greeted me. I filled out a questionnaire form and by the designated appointment time, I met Dr. Yenna Lee. Dr. Lee is very kind, caring and transparent when it comes to explaining your eye health and eye prescription adjustments. I also presented my previous contact lens prescription from my previous optometrist and she kindly added it to my records. There is an additional fee for contact lens exam, but I kindly consented (and was within budget) since I needed it. They carry various contact lens brands, and I was recommended to use a new brand developed by Alcon Laboratories. The variant I chose was comfortable for my eyes, so I ordered a year's worth of lenses. I also requested a copy of my latest prescription, which they kindly provided for me. I bought a new nearsighted glassess here. I received my new glassess via mail since I reside outside Los Angeles region. When I received and tried on the glassess, I was not able to see clearly on it and it made my vision blurry. Additionally, eye glassess quality was very poor that seemed a different product from origninally I ordered in the store. I spoke with a staff over the phone and asked a refund since the glassess were useless for me. However, my request was denied by this optometry store. I love checking out local mom & pop shops....and this eyeglass/optometrist shop is one of them! It's located in a corner of the MaDang plaza (one of my fave plazas in KTown btw), and they offer validated parking up to 4 hours! I stopped by a few times before making a final decision, and not once did the folks here push me into buying anything nor did they hover over me suspiciously (I absolutely hate it when shops do that). They were extremely patient and allowed me to try as many pairs as I wanted and even cleaned my boyfriend's glasses while we were there! I have a super flat nose and finding "Asian fit" glasses has always been a struggle. I also prefer thin frames, but my VERY HIGH prescription makes it difficult. Fortunately they have a bunch of different designs and brands. They're also super helpful & honest. I really liked a high-end pair of frames and instead of convincing me to buy them, they suggested other (more affordable) pairs because that particular one didn't fit my face very well (the rims hit my cheeks whenever I smiled + it didn't have a low nose bridge). I ended up getting a super cute pair of Tiffany eyeglasses. It only took about 3 days before they were ready. I've had them for almost a month already and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. I've gotten so many compliments! They fit super well, and I have not gotten any headaches since wearing them almost every day. The prices here are very reasonable. However I don't believe they take insurance. Overall I'm super pleased with my experience and glad that I gave this shop a try. Here's to hoping they get more clients!!! read more

I randomly heard about this place and saw that they were having a 50% off glasses sale going on for the grand opening promotion. I was on a search for new glasses so I decided to check this place out. Upon entering, I was welcomed by two workers and tried on some glasses. I assumed that the glasses on sale would be ugly or very cheap looking, but they were good quality and there were a lot to choose from. I finally picked out the exact glasses I was looking for and went to get my eyes checked. The time spent with the optometrist was very uncomfortable and awkward. She seemed very tired and it honestly seemed like she just wanted to get over with the procedure. I was told the glasses would be ready in about 40 minutes to an hour, so I just walked around the plaza and my glasses were ready in about 45 minutes. When I tried them on, they were a bit blurry but they said it's because they were new. I felt something wasn't right but I just went home with them anyways. However the entire week with my new glasses on, they were still blurry and I actually saw better with them off. I checked my previous prescription with the one I got here and realized they were way off. I went back the following week and told them the situation and turns out my prescription was wrong and they adjusted it, no apology or anything. I feel like the optometrist wasn't thorough and was careless. I live in the OC area so it was definitely a hassle to come back and get my glasses fixed. As I was leaving, one of the worker said, "come back if there's another problem" ....but there shouldn't be another problem.. why are you guys not certain.. makes you guys look unprofessional.. Anyways I love my new glasses, the selection of glasses, and the service from the two men, but I wouldn't recommend getting your eyes checked here :/ read more
