I had a consultation with Dr. Miller. Before my appointment I gave the office my insurance information. After my appointment, at check out, I was told my insurance covered $305 and the remaining balance was $35 - which I happily paid then during my checkout. Years later I look at my credit report and discover that they reported to collections that I still owe them $37?! I would have gladly paid the extra $37 when I was in the office!!! So let's see... you were paid $340 just for a brief consultation, and yet once I'm out of the office decide you want more?? What kind of doctor dings someone's credit over $37?! After having multiple, terrible experiences with other local dentists (one in the same parking lot), thankfully I found Dr. Miller! As soon as I entered the office I was greeted by two smiling faces at the front desk, check-in was a breeze and the waiting area was comfortable. When they were ready for me another smiling face came to the front to walk me to the working area in the back. The assistant and hygienist were great! Nice, pain-free, cleaning and x-rays and then the Dr. came in to review the x-rays and do an exam. I had one little issue which was very clearly explained to me along with my options. I feel the Dr. was honest as he told me he can perform a procedure now but he wanted to wait to see how things develop before he moves forward with the procedure. I'm a busy person so I'm not big on chit-chat; however, Dr. Miller and the staff gave the perfect balance of getting to know each other while getting the job done in a timely fashion. I, as well as my whole family, have been going to Dr. Miller since, basically, I've had teeth! What I can honestly say is that, throughout roughly 34 years of seeing Dr. Miller, he has always made 100% sure that my comfort and understanding of each and every procedure were his #1 priority(and I have had quite a bit of dental work done). Saw him many years ago, but the memory is still a very bad one and needs to be told to help others avoid what happened to me. I saw him in my thirties and it seemed like every time I went in there was expensive work to be done - root canals and such. I thought my teeth were really disintegrating. Then one visit for my son the dentist told me that my son had nine cavities! I found that hard to believe since his teeth looked beautiful. So I got a second opinion. The next dentist said there was nothing wrong with any of my son's teeth! Can you imagine! I now doubt that I needed all that work on my teeth since they haven't needed much in the years that have followed that awful experience. read more

Do. Not. Visit. This. Office!! If I could give less than one star, I would. Dr Miller's ego does not allow him to do his job properly. I had two cavities to be filled, and explained to him that I generally take more novocaine than the regular person. He said "We'll see." He started working and lo and behold, it wasn't enough. He seemed very annoyed. He gave me one more and started work again. I could still feel some, but figured if just tough it out. When he saw my eyes tear up, he said "are you feeling pain or are you just feeling the cold air?" He was not happy. He gave me some more and finished his work. I went back the next week and got copies of my records to search for a new dentist. I told the staff (who seemed nice) that I was not interested in a dentist who was a jerk. She winked at me as if shed heard that comment before. Come to find out, about a year later, when I had x rays again, Dr Miller failed to remove all of the decay, and both cavities had grown bigger under his filling. Dr. Miller and his staff are the best!!! I have been a patient for 17 years and I am always treated with such kindness and understanding - especially with family members who dread the dentist. Dr. Miller and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. The only con I could even think of is his office is so busy due to his great work that it can be difficult at times to get an appointment quickly - unless of course it is an emergency. Went to Dr David B. Miller for TMJ consultation and had a very bad experience. He was condescending and arrogant. The exam that I paid for , three-hundred and seventy-five dollars was not a comprehensive one . He basically spent the entire time trying to convince me that I was wrong for not embracing his protocol . I explained that I could not have a CT scan as I just finished major cancer treatment . I expected he would be empathetic but he was not and insisted that the radiation would not hurt me . He refused to address any of my concerns about my teeth unless I agreed to his 5600 dollar treatment for the TMJ. read more

Horrible experience! I was referred to Dr. Miller from Kaiser for a Somnomed device. I had it fitted and it was huge and uncomfortable for my mouth. I had it adjusted some time later after trying to give it another go. It was again an uncomfortable device to wear. I thought that Dr. Miller is a professional, he must have some great advice on what else to do. I came in for a third time, on my vacation day, and he looked at me in disgust. This didn't start well! He asked what the problem was I explained the device is too tight, lots of pressure, and just plain uncomfortable after sleeping. He was getting agitated asking me where the pressure was, etc. I felt like I was getting interrogated! He was increasingly rude. I apologized for inconveniencing him with this but I needed to find out if I am exhausting my resources. I paid out of pocket for this device. He tinkered around and out of frustration and being put on the spot I just said it fit a little better. I asked why he was being so rude, is he not getting paid from my insurance or something..Yeah, I said it! He said my insurance only paid $600 for the fitting and one adjustment. So he considered this a "community service." So not only did I feel like an imbecil, but I felt like a charity case! This dentist is arrogant, and is not a professional. He needs to retire with all of his bronze sculptures! I told my dentist and my doctor to never refer this dentist. His staff is completely opposite and very nice and welcoming. I am 82 years old and have been to many dentists in my life time. Dr. Miller gave me the worst dental and medical experience of my life. My comments would be a repeat of those stated by Dana M. I can add that he is arrogant, rude, uncaring, with an unprofessional attitude. His daughter I have since learned roams around the dental area listening to anything patients might say in order to brief her dad. DO NOT be impressed with those plaques he hangs on the wall -- he ought to retire and get out of the dental profession. He has left me with a medical problem that I am still addressing with the help of other dentists. He, used me to test out his new machine for making in -house caps when I expected the usual practice of having my impressions sent to a reputable dental establishment BUT instead without my prior approval, and after he grinded down my two lower right molars, he used his in house machine. I have had my fair share of issues with a couple of dentists since childhood, I only wish I had found Dr. Miller sooner. His office is impeccable, staff is always smiling and friendly. Kris took the time to answer all of my questions (there were many). Kelly is the one who cleaned my teeth and for the first time ever there was NO pain. Not to mention she was a delightful person to chat with. I ended up having a sleep study, it was very simple and they did a great job explaining what needed to be done. After having headaches and jaw pain for months, the sleep study explained why and the results only took a few minutes. As a result of the sleep study I ordered a sleep appliance, also through Dr. Miller. I never realized how poor my sleep was until I used the sleep appliance. I now wake up feeling rested and have more energy throughout the day. Thank you so much Dr. Miller and staff! I will be referring my family and friends. read more

I highly recommend Dr. miller and his Amazing Staff. I have been a patient for over seven years and I receive excellent dental care. Dr. Miller is all about making money. At my first appointment he did a quick examination of my teeth and concluded there was nothing wrong with them. Then he launched into a sales pitch about cosmetic dental services and dental cures for sleep apnea that he could provide. In the two years since that first examination he has barely paid attention to me. His staff has routinely cleaned my teeth, but he charges more than my insurance will pay for the service. The cleaning was competently done, but he will not negotiate on the price. I am not interested in a dentist whose primary concern is making money. I encourage others to find more reasonably priced and personal service. read more

Dr. Miller and his staff are the Best! From the minute you walk in the door until you leave you will be treated with dignity and respect. Are you anxious about going to Dentist? I was. I went to Dr. Miller after a violent attack that left my face severly bruised and broken. I needed extensive work done and really was fearful. I already had a Dentist so this was just for the emergency. Dr. Miller and Chris were very sensitive to my fear and got the work done pain free. I needed to get fixed up quick so I could go back to work as soon as possible. Within 3 visits I had replacement teeth for the 6 that were broken at the gum line and the chips in my front teeth were fixed. No pain - no fear just great care. The entire staff at Dr. Miller's office are amazing. Barbara will get your appointments, take care of your insurance, and make it easier than you can imagine. Dr. Miller is now my Dentist. I will never go anywhere else. I used to dread and fear having dental work done. Now I look forward to it. I love walking out of the office with a fresh smile everytime.
