They had 7 days to get my vehicle ready for delivery. At delivery the vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke, tire pressure was off on all tires, and headliner was very dirty. Made an apt to have these things addressed. The Vehicle was there all day. Detail Dept "bombed" it for smell-but nothing else was done. The next day tire the tire pressure lite came on, the headliner was never cleaned and it still smells like cigarette smoke. Plus the salesman doesn't call when he says he will. They've had 2 chances to make things right. Now I'll take my business elsewhere. What a shame because I've had Fords since the early 90's. This was my first Chevy. Get a second opinion before you give them a trade-in. They enjoy screwing people out of money. I ended up getting $1800 more elsewhere, so they lost another sale. I also find it funny that they claim to take pride in giving back to the community; they sure do! The field across the street was littered with empty gm oil boxes! Although I give the service center 5 stars, I cannot recommend this dealership as their sales staff lacks leadership. They have not received the guidance needed to effectively serve a client during the buying process. I am not sure what has happened in the last few years but the dealership has gone from a 5 star down to a 1 star. Our cars engine seemed to have gotten noisier and ticking with only about 3,000 miles on it. The dealer said they compared it to another Encore and it was the same. I left satisfied but when I went and listened to two new other Encores they were much quieter. It's a lease so whatever. read more

Took my daughters car in to have a check engine light taken care of. They broke her brake line said it was like that when we brought it in. Then charged us 1000.00 said the car would pass inspection just had to drive it. They said they did a pressure test. Drove it 1500 miles still wouldn't pass took it Another garage they did a smoke test and found 3 leaks. They said it was impossible that the dealer did a pressure test. They fixed the leakes and car passed the same day. I have purchased 5 vehicles over the past 15 years between my husband and I. We love your sales people but service department could use some work. I purchased the extended warranty on my vehicle, being told if work was done there was no diagnostic fee. I brought my vehicle in for a noise/shaking when I was turning and was told It was my car in 4-wheel drive. I had it in auto, so if it did not automatically switch back to 2-wheel drive, that indeed is something that needed to be fixed. I was charged the $91.80 for service to turn my 4-wheel drive knob over 1 spot. Furthermore, a leak was also found elsewhere, and fixed without my knowledge, to which a second invoice was given so that my warranty company could also be charged. I feel this was dishonest, double dipping, and a sure way to lose customers. Very disappointed. read more

Dropped my 2017 van off at 8:00m am for a broken door latch. Was told that they had to get the part and would have it by 10:30. It is now 12:30 so I called the dealer and they don't have the part yet. I stressed that I am on the road all day and need my van to do my job. Told Paul the service writer that I would pick up the damn part. This is costing me big time sitting around doing nothing. Said he would call when ready and gave no time when that would be. I used to love this place. I bought my last 2 cars here from Gordy who is actually an awesome guy and I recommend because he looks out for your best interest. I used to have a couple friends that worked in the service department where I always took my car for repairs because they did the warranty repairs. With my friends working in the service department I felt comfortable going there because I knew I could trust what they tell me. Since they are not there anymore, every time I go in I get treated like a new customer because none of the workers take the time to remember you. Also they keep suggesting all this work that is not needed. Last week they told me I was due for a transmission fluid flush when I just had it done 4 months ago. It even said that in their system. I went in for an oil change and left with a $500 bill because I didn't understand what they were telling me over the phone. After talking to a friend the work could have been done elsewhere for about $100. I highly suggest finding somewhere else to have repairs done. read more

I brought my truck in for an oil change while on vacation. A worker pulled my truck in too close to the lift and blew out my front passenger tire. I was told it would be replaced within 30 minutes. It took over an hour and wasted a day of my vacation. I was not given any discount on my oil change after waiting for this whole fiasco to be solved. I am very unhappy and will recommend to all of my family and friends to go to a different Chevrolet dealer for all future needs. read more

Made an appointment a week in advance for the saturn astra airbag recall. The lady on the phone suggested adding a day to make sure the part would be in. Got there on time for my appointment and waited all day ... at the end of the day I got a call saying the part wasn't in yet. next day ... part was still not in by the end of the day. It's now been 3 days and they're telling me they still can't find the part. They offered to give me a loner. I know my car's parts are harder to get a hold of but when I call a week in advance I expect them to have it ready. *update: Apparently that wasn't the part they were meant to replace. I'm pretty sure one of their technicians goofed while doing the job and somehow messed up the clockspring (which is the part I/they have been waiting for). I was told the clockspring just "fell apart" when they "opened it up" probably "because it was so old" (it's only 9 years old... and the part is made of hard plastic). When I called to see if they would reduce a diagnostic fee due to the inconvenience they pretty much told me to go f**k myself (in an only SLIGHTLY more polite way). I mentioned I found the OEM part on multiple websites in stock and they were very condescending, insisting that it wasn't the right part... until I gave them the part number and confirmed that I was in fact looking at the right part. Also while waiting for a rental I overheard two employees laughing about how someone just brought in a car with a check engine light (laughing as if they already knew they were going to ream that person financially) as if it were that person's fault it went off (and even if it was... that's part of your job and is not something to scoff about). If you make a lot of money and don't mind paying too much for parts and labor or being treated like a clueless chump while doing so, then this might be the right place for you. read more

This Place SUCKS and are all CROOKS. I took my truck in for service because it had and electrical problem. They charged me $900 to fix the problem. However, when I got my truck back the turn signals did not work and they said it was not their problem. The electronic door locks also did not work when these items were working when I dropped the truck off. When I called to talk with a manager I was told to either pay the additional $800 to get it fixed or come get my truck. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If it was possible they would not even get a star from me. Watch out they will do anything to take your money! Be advised everyone in this place is rude and nasty, My mother dropped my truck off the second time (to get the turn signals and door locks looked at) and she was yelled at and treated like shit because she was dropping it off while I was working. read more

I took my truck in to David last Monday (4/30/2018) for warranty work to be done due to lifter noise. They got back to me Thursday (5/3/2018) after saying they would look at it Tuesday (5/1/2018). Their diagnosis was a bad injector that would be $1000 to fix. I then told them I would take the truck to my mechanic instead for a significantly cheaper repair. They called me back saying the price changed to $440. I reluctantly told them to do the work. They then called me yesterday (5/8/2018) saying that the injector was replaced but the trick still had the same problem I brought it in for. David's service department then said it would be a warranty repair at no cost to me other than the $440 injector replacement that didn't fox the problem. When asked why I have to pay for a misdiagnosis they claimed they did nothing wrong and my bill wasn't going to change. And on top of these headaches I stopped in last Friday (5/4/2018) and pointed out to the service guy I was dealing with that there was no tonneau cover on my truck (I had a tonneau cover on the truck for multiple years and it was definitely on the truck when I took it there. The service guy said he had no clue what I was talking about. About 45 minutes after leaving he called me claiming the wind must have blown the cover off even though tri fold tonneau covers are held on with 4 clamps. Moral of the story is I wouldn't recommend David Chevrolet s sales or service department to my worst enemy. read more

This dealership, like most from my experience, can a be a little tricky. My husband and I had attempted to purchase a vehicle from David a couple years back and were unsuccessful due to their inability to offer us a fair trade-in value for his car. The sales director Chuck was fast-talking and manipulative, but the actual salesman (Mark) was actually very helpful. We were able to purchase the vehicle elsewhere and were offered $1000 more for his trade-in. Then, just about a month ago, we decided to replace my car. Since they are literally right down the street from us, we decided to give David a second try. Unfortunately, we had a very similar experience. The salesman, Paul, tried to up sell us and when we told him the car was out of our budget he accused us of wasting his time. We received a follow-up call the next day from an internet salesperson and I told her about my experience. She told me that if I were to call her directly next time I was interested in a vehicle, she would set me up with a better salesman. So, about a week later I saw a car online that met my needs and gave her a call. She set up a time for me to come in and gave me the name of a salesperson to ask for. When I came into the dealership for a test drive, the salesman she told me to ask for was unavailable. So the receptionist told me she would find me a salesman to work with. Naturally, I was terrified that I would wind up face to face with Chuck again. But ironically, the salesman she found was the original salesman we had worked with a couple of years back, Mark. Again, Mark was extremely helpful and took all the time with me that I needed. When I left, I asked him to talk with his manager and see if we could come to an agreement on the price of the car and the trade-in value of my car. I told him I did not want to waste my time coming back if we were too far apart on the numbers. He called me the next day with the number I wanted and we sat down that evening and filled out the paperwork. I also got an excellent finance rate and an extended warranty at a great price. The key to working with this dealership is knowing the value of the car you're interested in and getting the right salesman.
