I stopped in The Dealership & a fellow named SEAN in the Service department went out of way to show me how to open the Gas Tank (You just press in to Open it lol He also diagnosed the newer Fob. One can get similar deals on new and used cars at all dealerships. It is the service department that makes a difference. The service department at David Chevrolet is excellent. Ask for Sean Polley if he's available because he will explain everything to you, show you the worn or broken parts, show you pricing options and will tell you straight what you need versus what can wait a little bit. The service department needs help. The advisors are amazing but they are over worked. I have seen customers wait 3hours for an oil change/NYSI, when they were told 45minutes to an hour. In the main shop they keep filling the schedule with appointments for serious concerns at 330 on a Friday with the promise the vehicle will be done by 5pm which is not the case at all. They aren't even open on Saturdays for major concerns, just their oil shop is open. Don't waste your time or money. Go somewhere that appreciates the business. read more

This review is for the service department. Got a letter stating that I had a recall on my truck since David Chevrolet was the closest Chevy dealership to me I decided to call them. I called the first time lady answered, took all my information and said since this was a recall, she would give my information to the recall people and have them call me. A week later hadn't heard anything, so I called again to see what happened. They didn't have any of my information on file that they had taken the first time, so I gave them my information again and set up an appointment for 9 am Wednesday. Came in Wednesday at 9 for said appointment. After waiting 20 minutes someone finally asked if I had an appointment. I Told them my name, and they could not find my file, told them my number could not find my file they had still not entered my information, it was at this point they told me that if it rings more than twice a call center in Texas answers it. I asked how long it would be since they told me it would only be an hour over the phone and then he proceeded to tell me that no one in Texas knows what's going on. I can pick up my truck at 4 I had a 9 AM appointment. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

I live in Florida, so my parents went in to see the car and work on a deal. At first it seemed great. Price came in where we wanted it to, with all the things I had wanted in the contract. Originally, my salesman, Hanna had called me and told me that my Loan would be over 60 months at a certain Interest Rate...then they found a lower rate for me. All he needed was my down payment. All the fun started once the down payment was placed. Down payment was made and the contracts were sent down to me in Florida...when I got the contract, to my surprise, it was a 72 Month Loan. I called and Hanna told me it was never 60 months and I must've heard that from someone else. After that conversation, Hanna tried to guilt me into the "We're not making any money on this deal." From there it proceeded to get even worse... More paperwork was sent to my house for me to review and I sent it back up immediately. The Sales Manager told me that he would put my car up for bid to ship down to me, and he would give us a few options, but wouldn't take any profit off of it. I get a phone call stating that they have a shipper but they need a check for $1,000 immediately to get the car shipped down to me. Check got sent to the dealer for that amount, only to find out that wasn't the price and it was going to be another $600+ dollars. Long story short, we found our own transport company. The car was due to go out on a Monday, so I called and left a message on the Friday prior, stating that I wanted to ensure the car had a Temp. Tags, as well as all the necessary paperwork to register the car in Florida. Never received a call back. The car left that following Monday and got down to me. We unloaded the car off the transport and there were NO TAGS on the car, no title for the car and no paperwork. I called the Sales Manager who said he would look into it. An hour and a half went by and no call back. When I called back he got short with me and told me that he was working with a lot of people to figure this out and I needed to understand. He would call me back shortly. About 15 minutes later, I got another call and he said the paperwork was in their Delivery Manager's Desk. Immediately upon turning the car on to inspect it, I had the Tire Pressure lights go on. Turns out the Rear Passenger Tire has a slow leak to it. I called the dealership again to let them know and they said it had to be the Transport service and they wouldn't be liable for it. I took the car to Firestone and came to find out that they couldn't patch the tire, because that tire already had a plug put in it, and close enough to the side wall that they wouldn't have patched it anyways. The dealership passed the inspection on the car. I asked them to reimburse me for a new tire and mounting since I would have to replace this tire and was told no, that I would have to take this up with the Transport company. Apparently, they felt the transport company knew my tire was leaking air, and patched it up while transporting it. My parents were also shown two keys for this vehicle, and upon receiving it, there was only one key and I was told there wasn't a second key, but they would look into it for me. Then, when the paperwork did arrive for the car, there was no title in it. The Temp Tag expired 4 days from the date it arrived to me, and I can't register this car without the title. I messaged the Sales Manager, who told me that he only uses his cell phone to communicate but never gave that I asked to know when the second key would be shipped down to me and when I can expect my title. In my research the dealership has 30 days from purchase date to provide the title to the new owner. In this text message exchange, I was told that he would find out the very next day on the title and call me back. I'm still waiting for that call. BBB received a formal complaint (they aren't accredited), the NADA was called and I will be retaining counsel to get this taken care of. read more

I found a jeep here that I liked price seemed good especially for what the write up on the car and the mileage. Had to finance it since the money from my trade in car had not got to my bank yet. While sitting down to sign we started talking about something which took my mind off signing. Did not see any numbers while signing. Got home not thinking about it until I got the bill. They added $1000 to finance fee and 6000$ for warranty. The car total price from $18,500 tag with 27,000. Way too much for uses car I also noticed even though they do an inspection of the car before selling it they added over $100 for that I also noticed a small spider like crack in the window after 30 days and It didn't have all things that were listed in the write up. I also called finance and all they said they could take off the price was the warranty not the $1000 finance charge even though I called them before 30 days and told them I just wanted to pay it off. I'm very disappointed and think these extra charges and high finance and warranty charge may have something to do with less people buying cars at dealerships. I don't recommend them read more

David's Chevy always takes good care of me, anytime I'm in need of service they always make a way to get me in. They are enforcing social distancing, wearing a mask and also provide sanitizer. I've been here on a few occasions and had the opportunity of meeting some awesome ppl. Ken usually takes care of me in service and makes it a priority that I leave satisfied. They have a huge selection of vehicles on the lot if your looking to get a new or used vehicle. A car wash is on site, which they do a phenomenal detailing job. I wanna say after any service they give you a coupon for a free car wash within the first 3-5 days of your last service visit, I thought that was a cool incentive to keep the customers coming back. They also have a shuttle service if you run into any issues and can't get back to your vehicle on time. Overall I enjoy all my experiences here at David's and look forward to seeing you guys in the near future! read more

As the years go on and on, Davids Chevrolet just gets shittier and shittier...sales department isn't too bad but they will try to screw you over if you let them but you must know how to communicate with a salesman. Now the Service Department is a different story. That department absolutely SUCKS, two main people I'm gonna point out is Kenneth M (Ken) and Don...these two are by far the WORST to deal with when talking about your vehicle. Basically I brought my vehicle is for an oil change and a inspection it was delivered for an appointment at 8AM on a Thursday morning. Said it'll take until 11AM or so. Seems oddly long for a oil change and a inspection. So I said okay and took the shuttle they provided home. Here comes 11AM and I don't hear anything, here comes 12PM and I don't hear anything. Then comes around to 2 ish PM and I don't hear anything. I called David's and I got some caller that's not even in New York (they outsource their callers) tell me he'll make a note about it and send it over so I'm okay with that and let it slide...come around to 4PM and now I'm starting to get irritated. I call again and get another person from god knows where and they give me the same run down. So I said forget that and i decided to go up there. When I get to the dealership and talking to the of the reps they informed me that my vehicle was never touched and that it'll be done by 3 PM TOMORROW apparently it takes 24+ Hours to do a oil change and a inspection. We had a good experience with our sales person, Ernie, but as luck would have it, the Finance Department was a nightmare. First of all, we waited for over 90 minutes (Ernie sat us in a lounge and told us it'd be a 30 minute wait) to see Ethan, the finance mgr. After Ethan finally showed up, I made a comment that it had been a long wait. His response? "Faster than a pizza!" I replied, "I have never waited 90 minutes for a pizza." Ethan was neither apologetic nor pleasant after I pointed that out. We were an all-cash, no financing deal, so the 90 minute wait ended up with actual office processing time of less than 15 minutes. When the paperwork was done, he marched us back to the salesperson's desk in a huff, and then made a point of giving us the evil eye while we waited for our new car to be prepped. Not very professional or pleasant at all. I would recommend the sales person - he was very helpful and efficient, but since all sales have to go through the finance department, I'm loathe to give David Chevrolet much more than an A-OK. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. One of the shoddiest and most dishonest dealerships in Western New York. My 96 year old grandmother took her car there for an oil change (car has 17,000 miles on it). They convinced her to spend 180 dollars for an oil change and whatever else. A few months later her batter in her key fob died. David Chevy told her the batteries were fine and it was her car's computer. Luckily she mentioned it to me and I fixed the problem with a $1 cr2032 battery. Avoid this place unless you like getting ripped off. Total scum bags. read more

Inspection not done, so my registration cannot be processed. No one told me this during the last 3 visits to the dealership. I had to bring the vehicle back the day I drove off the lot because the check engine light went on. My passenger door window channel needs replacement but the dealer would not repair it free of charge despite the fact that I purchased the vehicle less than 30 days of bringing it in. Now I'll have to bring my vehicle back this weekend for a new inspection which should have been done before I drove off the lot. Affordable price, nice car, but obviously everything has been done poorly because of the cheap price for this used car. Forgot to mention we paid in cash, and my relative bought a brand new car from them the same day I picked mine up. So much for loyalty for their customers. read more

The day we brought it home we had to take it back because it began to shutter. After having it for almost three weeks they had to replace not one but two internal computers. That should have been our first clue. Now about 5 months later we have almost $4000 worth of repairs needed again. We won't be going back here anytime soon. We were browsing the lot today, and were approached by a salesman who was wearing a mask below his nose. Very poor first impression! Annoying, but at least we were outside. He kept pulling it all the way down, which bothered us even more. We took a car for a test drive and asked about additional features. He went driving around the lot looking for a model that had what we wanted. While he was gone, we found the model we were interested in, he did not. He was apologetic that he couldn't answer a lot of our questions. My husband went inside to see if a deal could be made, and he was horrified that no one in the building was wearing a mask. Some had them hanging below their chins. No social distancing either. How unprofessional for a business to carry on this way. After a few minutes, my husband told him how uncomfortable it made him feel (I refused to even go inside the building) and we left. A sale could very well have been made today, but nope!! read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. Bought a used 2017 Buick Encore, with 18,000 miles on it, in August. The sale was finalized after hours and when we drove away, the CHECK ENGINE light was ON. There were multiple issues that were supposed to be taken care of and were not. We just had to replace the battery as there was an older, used one put in. The communication with managers was HORRIBLE. I would NOT RECOMMEND to do business with this place. read more

Do not go here. We had an inexperienced mechanic that did not tighten some rods after we had a tire rotation done. The bearings had then gone bad and we went to another mechanic to get it fixed. After we picked the car back up, we were told the bearings had gone bad because the previous mechanic did not properly tighten everything. Do not go here. They replaced one of the two modules the service check thought might be the problem. Picked up the car drove less than a quarter-mile and service light came back on.
