They sold me a lemon that they knew was junk. A 2025 Ram with 10,700 miles on it. Everything electronic started to work on and off. After 3 days of owning the truck, I asked for my money back and they refused. They took the truck in and after 2 full weeks they said they replaced the radio. 2 days later nothing worked. Two years ago, I bought my dream car from them. A week after receiving my new vehicle I brought it back complaining of transmission problems and they told me days later there were no problems. Slip forward, A year and a half later I ran into transmission problems, and today to this point the vehicle is completely unusable. It needs a new transmission and the engine is in poor shape. The pure greed to just get vehicles out without a care of doing a proper scope shows the integrity that this car dealership has. It's poor and their service sucks. Absolutely shameful dealership. Twice in 6 months of owning this new Ram 2500, I have had ridiculous experiences with the service team. First, shortly after buying my truck where they gave my bed liner to some other customer, and that turned one appointment in 3 days into two appointments after a month long wait. I needed to proactively call to find updates as well. Second, more recently, when my breaks felt mushy. I brought it in to find out there was a recall on my breaks they never told me about. Part was on a 3 day order. I waited a week before calling, it was still not in. A month later, I called, and I reached parts, and they told me it had been in for a week. Wasn't shocked this time at the lack of follow-up. I left a frustrated voicemail, which prompted a call to get scheduled. Dropped off my truck Friday so they could fix it over the weekend. Tech was apparently out sick, and he was the only one who could fix it. Picked up my truck today, but of course, they had to find my keys first after handing me keys to someones Jeep. Finding another time to drop off is always tricky as I work two jobs. Dont know if I can trust them to do the job anyway. Every time I call service, I get a voicemail, including today when I asked to speak to a manager. read more

We were traveling in our camper van from California when we heard a loud noise and felt a bit of shaking. It didn't last long but we thought we should check it out since we still had a lot of traveling to do. We took it in and they were VERY busy but said they'd see what they could do about getting us in. Garett was our service advisor and he was very helpful. He was fine with us hanging out in the van until it was time for them to service it. Brandon was the one who parked it and when he saw the side door open, he came over to check on it. He talked with us for a bit and went back to work. He was very kind and helpful as well. They did a full inspection and flushed the transmission, filled fluids that were low and did recall work that Garett found. It wound up taking all day but they made sure we were aware of what was happening and we were back on the road by the end of the day. Although it took a HUGE frustrating chunk out of our vacation plans, I'm glad we took it to them because they were absolutely great! My husband and I have gotten our last 3-4 cars from this dealership, have sent multiple other people there and given them the sales as we were pretty content with them and their service. This year however, they have sent numerous letters in the mail regarding deals on new leases with notes "thought you would like to see this." My husband has called each time we've gotten a letter, and have been told "we will get back to you ASAP". Each time no one calls back. My husband has followed up and has gotten "I'm sorry someone will send you info ASAP" and again, ZERO follow up. I work full time, he works 3rd shift, we have 2 kids and a very busy schedule. We canceled plans we had to drive 45min to the dealership on a Saturday, per their request, so they can take a look at mine and my husbands vehicles for possible trade in and again was told in person that they would get back to my husband by Monday. It's now Thursday of the following week and...crickets. Sick of playing this game. We will take our business and recommendations elsewhere. That's terrible customer service. Terrible Terrible. I would not recommend this place. After waiting over a day for a repair that was supposed to to be done in 1, I am then told if you use a credit card and was told it's an additional fee of 3.99%. WHAT!!! I didn't buy a pack of gum I spent thousands on a repair. No other dealership I called does that. The icing on the cake.... The repair was done to pass inspection. I leave and get to appointment and they never put new sticker on. I drive back and wait another 20 min for a sticker. Don't go here read more

My sister in laws car has been in the shop for a MONTH. She brought the new Jeep in for an oil change and they blew the engine. Lots of dishonesty, not returning calls, finger pointing, and terrible customer service. Would NOT recommend buying a car or taking your car there for service. read more

IF YOU HAVE A TRADE-IN DO NOT GO THERE! I purchased a jeep wrangler 3 years ago and had an OK experience. So, I went back today to purchase another jeep and my experience was very different. They low balled my trade in by $1500 and were very short with me. I explained to the sales person that I was offered $1500 more for my trade-in at 2 different dealers and she didn't even want to hear it. It was like they had so much business that trying to work with me was not an option. The sales person rushed me off the phone. I guess she didn't have time. I am happy to say that I went back to the other dealer and purchased. I guess it was not meant to be because I found a similar Jeep...But I paid $1000 less and they gave me the true trade in value for my car. I hope management will coach their sales people to have some empathy and patience for customers. They have lost a customer...but they probably don't care because they are so busy. read more

I wouldn't go here at all. They lie, cheat and treat you like trash when you have the balls to bring it to their attention. Then make jokes about you. I know this because an employee who works there told me all about it. They tried telling me that my 2016 dodge had no air filter. They told me lies why my truck wasn't ready for days after I bought it. Didn't fix what was wrong with it until I bought up issues after having it for a day even though they knew what was wrong with it. They knew we were moving out of state and they were hoping to get away with not fixing issues. Someone could of walked off with my truck because the key thought it was still in the ignition. When I went to look at the truck I was told they we're fixing the bumper and couldn't and had to put down money to look at it. Turns out they were fixing brake lines because when I looked at the truck I found the lines in the truck. They said they detailed it and it looked like they didn't do anything and it smelled like dog. The fluids were not filled. I dis that myself as well as put in my own air filter that according to them didn't exist. The Sapir tire and rim were trash and I was told they are not required by NY state to take responsibility for them and I could buy both from them. Like after the experience I had I would spend more money there. I also had problems with a/c that I was lucky to find out later when I got to Arizona. My parents brought their Chrysler 300 in for a tie rod fix. The dealership called them on a Saturday saying their vehicle was ready to be picked up. My parents made arrangements to have it picked up Monday. That Sunday morning, the dealership called to say their car (along with two others) were stolen the night before. My parents found out that they had 18 vehicles stolen from their lot in the last 9 months. If you plan on getting work done there, do not let them keep your vehicle overnight as they have no fenced in security or guards working a night shift. read more

Service guy told me my tires have 25% life left in them but only 6 days and 150 miles later, I got a flat tire in Buffalo while on the thruway. I would have actually gotten new tires if they told me I needed new ones. Then they wanted to charge me $1200 for all 4 tires when a shop told me $800 for the same tires and work. Plus they wanted me to cover the charge to tow my car from Buffalo to Niagara Falls. This would not have happened if I was only told that I needed new tires! My boyfriend's car recently died so we've been on the hunt for a new vehicle. After a month of searching with no luck, we believed that we had hit the jackpot when we found their listing for a 2012 Hyundai Sonata for $7,800- it was a considerable upgrade from his old car and right in our price range. There is a recall on the vehicle but we were assured from the beginning that if we did decide to purchase it, everything would be taken care of as recalls are the dealerships responsibility (those words came directly from the mouth of our salesperson, Joe Smith). Because of this, we decided to buy the car; we paid our down payment and picked up the vehicle a few days after the initial test drive and were ecstatic. However, after only 3 1/2 hours with the car the check engine light comes on and we can't accelerate past 20 MPH. My boyfriend is told to take it to a dealership close by where he finds out that the problem with the engine is a $3,000-$4,000 fix! We were literally sold a lemon, and luck was on our side; it couldn't even last one full day away from the dealership so we were within warranty. After a lot of getting our chain jerked around, we got a refund of our $2,000 deposit- not until after I was spoken down to quite rudely over the phone when simply trying to explain the situation. I hate that I had to write this negative review, but I think it's important that I do so potential buyers don't get screwed like we did. I assume our salesperson thought we lived an hour away in Rochester because we had mentioned we were from there, since when my boyfriend called after the check engine light came on Mr. Smith inquired, "Aren't you all the way in Rochester?" leading me to think they tried to pull a fast one on us since they assumed we lived far away. Luckily, we are only 25 minutes down the road. Long story short, get a mechanic to look at the car before you buy it from this dealership. They capitalized on our frustration of not having a car for over a month since they knew we were sick of not having one. BUYER BEWARE I did get a decent car at a decent price. The problem was fixed. To get it fixed, however, I had to fight, argue and cajole to get work done (silly me I think a 2 year old Car should be drive able 12 days after you buy it - even if you didn't buy the 3000$ warranty you were pressured to buy). An independent mechanics suggestion to check with the attorney general was very helpful. It took me a while to post this as I am now happy with this Car, but I felt this dealership is not honest. I could not in good conscience not warn people. You can absolutely get a good car at a great price, if you do the following: *have YOUR OWN mechanic check the car before purchase- the cooling fan on my 2 year old Car was falling apart *do not be pressured into ANYTHING, I was told my interest rate was "now variable because You didn't buy the warranty" *bring a copy of your license, don't give them yours to walk away with and have extra keys for your own car in case you want to leave *If the Car you see advertised is not on lot leave- most of the cars I saw were mysteriously not there *know the lemon law *understand warranties make up 10% of sales and 30% profit- they are aggressive in pressuring warranties *triple check the spare tire (see uploaded photos of gaping holes) I am now happy with my car - very happy. It just took too much work on my part to get to that point. I will be skipping free lifetime oil changes as I would not trust them alone with my car. read more

I went there just to see what is the most cost effective car. Without telling me about their inventory, they asked for my contact info prior and like an idiot i gave it to them. They did a hard pull on my credit and despite me asking them not to spam call me, they called three times till i threaten to sue them. I had to come in and tell them in person not to call again. No pressure sales, great staff, willing to work with you! We have had horrible experiences elsewhere (Basil I'm looking at you), so much so I left in tears. We went in expecting to look at a used vehicle. We walked out trading in our current vehicle, and driving off with a brand NEW vehicle with a GREAT APR. Gus was our salesmen, and I'd work with him again in a heartbeat. They made it easy and stress free. They even bought lunch for us while we waited! I can't speak highly enough. What a Joke, Not one person in this entire dealership knows what anyone is doing. They could care less about the customer as long as they sell a vehicle. 1st I go looking for a van for work. I knew what I could afford and after looking at the ProMasters. They sign me up for business link which is nice as I do not have wait for service I work 12 to 14 hour days. This was a turn on for me. After taking one for a test drive we come to an agreement on a price. My wife then says she thinks she would liker a newer car. Her and I told the salesman that we need 4 wheel drive or we would not be able to get to our cabin. Salesman says that is not a problem. My wife wanted a Jeep so he shows us a Patriot. Salesman says that will be perfect to get you to the cabin. Wife takes if for a test ride and tell the salesman she will let him know in the morning. I was told to come back 1st thing in the morning and my Van would be ready for me. My wife and I were there at 9am, by 3:00pm I still have not seen the finance department yet. They kept telling my that they were waiting for paperwork. Finally go in at 4:30pm and this clown gives me a price way higher than we agreed upon. So I tell him that is not going to happen. I got up and walked out. The salesman comes chasing me down. Now mind you I have wasted 2 full days and still no van. The GM comes out I forget his name but he was European. Asked if he will give me a few minutes to see what he can do. By now it is 6pm comes out and gives me the same price as we agreed upon. Just before he came back my phone blows up about someone checking my credit score. I quick looked into my credit score was 780 when this joker was done it was 510. I told him about it. The then told me after the first 2 payment it will be back were it was. Nope 4 months latter it is still in the 500's. So almost 8pm and I get my van. Then my wife says I will see you tomorrow to pick up the Jeep. Had the Jeep a few days and I hear a noise from the rear. I know for a fact being in the automotive field for 20+ years that it was a wheel bearing. We take it back to the dealership and they said that there was nothing wrong with the Jeep and they all sound like that. Oil change light comes on after only putting a 1000 miles on it. Take it back and they tell me that the oil was changed and that the tech didn't reset it. I told them also to check the noise coming from the back. A few hours latter my wife gets a call saying the left rear wheel bearing is bad and that is was going to cost over $400. That was not going to happen and did you change the oil. They said no it didn't need it. I asked for service records on when the last oil change was and they could not produce them for me. So I told them to change the oil. This issue should have been fixed from first time we took it in a days after we bought it. So my wife talks with another manager Mike. He said that he will talk to the service director Shawn and that they would figure something out and for her to call in the morning. Wife calls and had to leave a message. When Shawn finally calls back he said that the sales department would pick up part of the bill at that it would only cost $248 and that he would apply that fee to an extended warranty. So she goes for it. Now they want to charge us $2000 for an extended warranty from Chrysler that after looking into Chrysler will not honor because the vehicle has 72,xxx miles on it. Now I find out that the Patriot is not 4 wheel drive. I thought all Jeeps were and the salesman even told us that it was 4 wheel drive. We dealt with Garry and Alex in service and when we came in to pick up the Jeep not one person new anything about the warranty. As for my ProMaster with Business Link drive up service next lift priority I go in for my first oil change and they asked if I had an appoint. I said no that I am a Business Link customer and I do not need an appointment. That was at 8:30am I figured I would get it done before work. The guy tells it won't be done until after 5pm. I ask to speak with the GM and Mike comes out and says that I need an appointment. I set the appointment up for the following week. I tell the service guy that I was a Business Link customer and why I had to make an appointment. He told that I didn't. So again not to happy. You all at Joe Cecconi's need to get on the same page. This dealership has been completely unresponsive. I am in the process of attempting to lease a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have attempted to reach this dealership by phone at least 10 times. I am typically forwarded to the sales department, then, phone rings several times and no one answers. The phone then kicks back to main desk and the person tries again. At that point in time I am usually hung up on. On one occasion I did in fact reach a human who promised to "call me right back in a few minutes "with a quote. She did not. My final attempt was via the internet. I was able to chat with someone who promised to have someone get back to me "ASAP", but, you guessed it .... no response!!!! Not sure if the situation is COVID related or these people are just not interested in selling cars. Their website indicates that they have several vehicles available, so supply is NOT the issue. read more

I have seen some of the negative reviews and those were not my experience when I visited Joe Cecconi. The only thing I can say that even closely resembles that is that the saleswoman did talk me out of buying the $11,000 Jeep I was set on buying and made it seem like I would not get approved for financing if i didn't choose the more expensive $13,000 Jeep instead. I don't know if that was true or if was a shady sales tactic on her part to increase her sales commission. I really like the Jeep I came there to buy, but the jeep she offered me as an alternate was a good vehicle, too, just a bit pricier than what I expected to buy. I really didn't mind, though, because I was thrilled just to get approved. See, I have poor credit and the whole reason I went to Joe Cecconi was their advertised "Guaranteed Credit Approval" advertisement. Turns out- they stand by their word. I was approved in 24 hours with a credit score of 550 I ended up having to pay more in interest, monthly payments, and money down, but I was approved. Before coming here I went to half a dozen other places and got turned down everywhere i went. I thought I'd never get a car loan with my bad credit. But Joe Cecconi came through- just as they advertised- and I am grateful to them for that, because i really needed a vehicle. Thanks Renee! read more

"Wait, how much?" I went in to Joe Cecconi to look at a new Jeep Wrangler. I waited a while to get helped, but it was a Saturday, so everyone was understandably busy. I've never owned a Jeep or a truck of any sort, so I wanted to take a test drive to see if I would even enjoy the unique environment of a Wrangler. The sales guys were very helpful and brought me a brand new Wrangler JL with a stick shift to take on the test drive. In addition, when I got back to the dealer, I wanted to figure out how to retract the top and we all learned how together. (Although come to think of it, I would think all the salesmen would know how to operate the features of the cars they sell.) So we went back into the office and the guy asked me what kind of options I would want. I listed the options and he said he'd go talk to his manager. (Oh please, not that dog and pony show.) We sat their for at least 15-20 minutes waiting for this guy to come back (how long does it take to figure out the price of the base vehicle with three added options?), but when he did, they quoted us FULL MSRP. I could have just gone to Jeep's website to figure that out. And if they sell these regularly for full MSRP (which I doubt), why did I have to cool my heels for 15-20 minutes to find out? This is why people hate car buying. read more

This is not the Joe Cecconi's of old. Beware if buying a vehicle. Sales people are not honest and will take advantage of you just to get the sale. Watch what you sign things are not explained properly. Check value of your vehicle before you trade it in. And make sure your credit is ran only once or if you have fair credit they will keep running it and not tell you. Which will lower your score. I Recommended 2 people there after I purchased a vehicle. And they both were taken advantage of. Remember the name is the same . But the owners are not. This is my last purchase with them. read more

At first when i made the deal on a new vehicle I was pretty satisfied with the dealership but after the deal was "done" the wheels really fell off the bus. For starters since when do dealerships not fill the vehicle your taking delivery on with a full tank of gas? Half a tank, that was a first (and I've bought many vehicles). Second, when I took delivery there was as large glob of paint on the roof of the vehicle that had dried that way and everyone missed it, the car was "detailed" before i picked it up but you don't notice this major imperfection? So they make me drive back to niagara falls to "see it" and then tell me they'll call me later about getting it fixed (it took just a few days short of 1 month). Next, i receive a call from the service manager and the saleswoman I worked with that I again had to drive back to Niagara Falls to sign another contract because the original one was printed "offline" and the bank couldn't read it and it was "URGENT". So I drive back again to the dealership. The service manager Mike tells me I'll be in and out in 10 seconds and just need to sign and initial and assures me everything is the same it was just reprinted. I made a deal signed a contract and took delivery on a deal of 15K miles a year for my vehicle. The contract he was trying to make me sign was now reading 12K miles a year! I immediately pointed this out and his response was "yea thats why I needed you to sign a new contract, the mileage on the original contract was wrong". So wait a minute now, you told me it was printed off line but now you're saying it was the mileage? I couldn't believe it. So after going back and forth he goes through my paper work to find out indeed it was 15K a year and I had my original contract on me to prove that. So then he tells me, "well I guess you didn't have to come here after all". Are you kidding me?! No, apology for this at all. But they did ask why I didn't fill out the customer survey! Really? What he did is not even legal and I have looked into it. So twice now, I had to drive back out to the dealership for THEIR mistakes. They should at minimum provided me with gas for all of this nonsense, the half tank they provided when i took delivery is now more than wasted. So now today I pick up my vehicle from them after the paint is fixed and I open my driver side door and notice a small chip in the edge of the door and on top of that, there is dust from the body shop everywhere inside. All over my seats, steering wheel, door, dash and the console. I dropped this car off immaculate. I was so mad I just left and decided to wash my hands of this place for good. I have never had such bad experiences from a dealership in my life. I would advise that anyone looking a vehicle NOT to even bother going to Joe Cecconi. read more

I bought a 2017 Dodge Ram July 2017. As soon is it was cold and about 3k miles, the transmission was slipping. After many attempts and the dealer trying to sell me on the fact this slipping was normal, they replaced the transmission. They promised me to do something over the issue as the vehicle has a 'dimineshed value' now no different than being in an accident. They did nothing. I turned them into NYS AG and the manager, Micheal Green lied to the AG stating they contacted me to resolve my concern, which he never did. I finally went into the dealership and met Mr Green in which i called him out for lying and he chuckled at me and told me 'theres the door, leave' Way to go to bat for your customers MR GREEN!!! If the top of an organization lues and treats their customer this way, what will the rest of the organization do? I will never do business with them again. read more
