    Here's a polished version of your review with improved grammar, clarity, and tone: McDavid Ford Service Review - 11/19/24 I scheduled an appointment with McDavid Ford over a week in advance because I needed a loaner while my car was in the shop for an AC issue. The air conditioning stopped working after only 13,000 miles. I waited a couple of weeks before bringing it in to accommodate their schedule. Upon arriving, I was immediately ignored by two men standing and talking. They didn't approach my car, so I assumed they weren't service staff. A few minutes later, Cesar, my service advisor, arrived. It was still early, about 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment, but the service center was open and not busy--so far, no problem. Cesar informed me that I wouldn't be given a loaner until my car had been diagnosed. I said, "Okay, I'll wait until you diagnose it." He then told me the diagnosis might take 24-48 hours. At that point, I asked him what the point of making an appointment was if they couldn't start diagnosing the issue promptly. I also mentioned that when I called, I wasn't told about this delay. The reason I chose McDavid Ford over Bill Utter Ford was precisely because McDavid didn't warn of long diagnostic times upfront. (In hindsight, maybe I should've gone with Bill Utter Ford.) My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM. That's the agreed-upon time to start working on my car, so I expected them to take it back, diagnose the issue, provide a loaner, and let me get on with my day--especially so I can work and keep paying for my Bronco. Instead, I was told to sit in the waiting room until the managers arrived to discuss the situation. Cesar must have realized I was frustrated because he eventually got the car in and diagnosed. Unfortunately, the issue wasn't covered under Ford's warranty. Apparently, a rock went between the bumper and grille, puncturing the condenser. The cost? Nearly $1,600 out of pocket. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I've never had these kinds of issues with my Tacoma or Lexus while dealing with their dealership networks. My attempt to return to Ford has only resulted in frustration. Sales team is good. Service and fords warranty is crap. They look for reasons to nickel and dime instead of just fixing it under warranty so people don't have to worry about it. Like your vehicles but might get rid of this one because of it

    Has to be the absolute worst Ford dealer in the Country. Took my $100k 2024 F-350 in for a grinding noise in rear diff. This is my 12th Super Duty but first new truck ever. Dropped it off and after 3 weeks on the lot was told the front hub couldn't be changed out because I had air bags on the front. After convincing them to look at rear diff like originally agreed. Was denied because apparently I sabotaged my new truck and opened the rear diff messed it up and used orange rtv to seal the cover. Was told Fords don't have orange rtv to seal rear diff and NEVER have. After much pleading I was told I had one day to prove I didn't tamper with it because they needed the lift for other vehicles. After calling Dana Spicer I went to McDavid Ford. I crawled under their new trucks and took a video of 2025s with orange rtv sealing the rear diffs, for sale on the lot. After proving I didn't intentionally sabotage my daily work truck with 18k miles (with a 100k Ford bumper to bumper warranty) they agreed to work on it. I was told the carrier was locked up and needed replacement, the diff was full of metal shavings. After 1 month I got my truck back. My rear King Ranch hubcaps had been scratched up, laid chrome side down on the shop floor. My wheels were gouged by the pry bar used to pull them off. My diff had orange rtv smeared all over it along with rear shocks sway bar and wiring, but diff was sealed up with grey??? I drove it off, but after how the tech had left my truck I started looking closely. I noticed my driveshaft nor my hubs had been removed. So I asked how the bearings that were grinding all the metal were changed. I was told the computer told them to only replace the carrier. They didn't replace the bearings, they didn't even flush the fluid that was full of metal shavings. So after 1k miles I removed the plug, it was covered in metal. I put an inspection camera in. My ring and pinion gears are grooved I had metal pieces all over in there and the bearings looked like 150k with only 20k. I went back several times wanting my wheels and hubcaps replaced and my rear differential fixed correctly. I was told the computer didn't tell them to change the metallic laden fluid, or flush the diff and axles, didn't tell them to change the severely scored ring and pinion, or shim them, nor the severely scored bearings. So after taking pictures of more and more metal in the diff over a couple thousand miles I demanded to talk to the manager. The sales manager, after seeing the photos, assured me that they'd take care of it. Dropped off my truck and had to practically beg for a loaner vehicle even though I was without my new truck for work again because they failed to fix it right the first time. Well not one phone call, email, or text and 28 days later they pulled it in to do the diagnosis. I was told the amount of metal in the diff was normal and even though there are actual shavings present and worn gears on a 21k miles truck, that was normal. So they changed my hubcaps, left me with wheels they gouged, and returned my truck to me with all the metal in the rear diff to continue to accrue while the non shimmed ring and pinion continues to eat itself and the bearings continue to mill the metal into a cool shiny paste. Oh and the loaner truck that was loaned to me to work out of while my brand new truck spent another MONTH in the shop. I was charged $500 without my knowledge for scratching the inside of the truck bed. I was told I wasn't supposed to use the truck as a truck and putting anything in the bed was considered damage if it scratched the bare paint in the truck bed. This is a horrible dealer. The worst service experience I've ever experienced. They had my truck 2 months yes 2 months and all they did was make me lose money from not having my truck, charged me money for using the loaner truck as a truck, scratched my truck on the taillight, it got hit in the bumper in their holding are, my driver side dually fender is scratched, and they never even fixed my truck. I would have been way better off never going to McDavid Ford. My fear is that my rear differential locks up with my children in the truck and possibly on a busy freeway with other drivers all around me at 70mph. Imagine the safety risk this poses.

    Sunroof

    Had a terrible experience today. I set an appointment in advance with Moe yesterday to view a specific truck. Ariel from the sales team called me this morning to verify if I was going to show up, and I confirmed. When I showed up the truck was outside and I saw the sunroof (attached photo) with damage. Moe said it was not safe to drive and was being looked into being auctioned. I asked him why he did not call me to let me know about the damage because this was a waist of my time, he said he just saw this. He walked away and said he was going to talk to a manager and left me waiting outside for 20 minutes . Very unprofessional and I would not recommend.
