I have been thinking about and researching having plastic surgery for over 12 years, right after I gave birth to my first son. I have had numerous consultations and even worked as a medical assistant for 2 different surgeons. I decided I was going to get serious about having an abdominoplasty and breast augmentation after having my second son in November of 2014. My husband and I read hundreds if not thousands of reviews for the top surgeons in Washington State and in the NW states around us. I found Dr. David Stephens, read his reviews, checked his credentials, talked to his staff several times, and finally made an appointment for a consultation. His staff was lovely, we met with Lori, who I instantly fell in love with. She put me at ease and answered my pages of questions without ever seeming annoyed or rushing me. I was so scared but we made the appointment for surgery because Dr. Stephens was so warm, kind, patient, and someone I felt I could trust more than anything. Every time I met with him he would put my worries to ease and made me feel confident in his abilities. I had an abdominoplasty and breast augmentation on July 5, 2016 and it was the best decision I have ever made. I am 11 days post-op and it is a tuff recovery, but it's tolerable with proper preparation and support. I have a 12 year old and a 19 month old son and that's probably the hardest part. Luckily I have an angel of a husband who has been taking very good care of me. Dr. Stephens promptly answered my phone call on a Saturday and a Sunday when I was having some pain in my hip that was scaring me. He called in a prescription and assured me it was normal. At both of my post-op appointments so far he was so sweet and gentle. Above all my breasts are the PERFECT size, they look like they belong to me!! I questioned him, and so did all of my friends and family, thinking they would be huge. I just decided to trust him and his judgement and thank goodness I did because I now have beautiful perfect breasts!!! My tummy is like a dream come true!! My scar, even 11 days out, is low and thin. My stomach is tiny and he took off almost every single stretch mark. I never thought the results I got could be possible. Dr. David Stephens has my business for life!! I am currently a patient of Dr. Stephens. For some time I had been considering rhinoplasty surgery due to a natural imperfection with my nose. I was rather unsure about the procedure as this was going to be my first experience with any form of cosmetic/plastic surgery. I was given Dr. Stephens name by a doctor that I was seeing for chronic breast pain. My breasts had suffered trauma and I was in need of a revision. My revision was as difficult as they come because I had several separate issues on each breast. I was told by other surgeons that I could not be fixed and needed to explant. My first visit with Dr. Stephens was incredible. He was kind, charming and super confident. He told me why I was having pain and what was causing the deformities. These are answers that no one else could offer me. Without hesitation he made a plan to revise my breasts and get me out of pain. His years of working in breast reconstruction gave him the skill to take on my difficult case. I am a very nervous person and the day of surgery I felt relaxed because the entire staff was so incredibly kind and comforting. They made me feel very safe. My recovery has been so much easier than expected after such a difficult revision and my results are amazing. You can not tell that I ever had breast issues. My breasts are beautiful and youthful. I cried when the doctor took my bandages off and I saw that my breasts looked so perfect. I have my confidence back and I can finally move on with my life after suffering the trauma that I've been through. Dr. Stephens in my opinion is the best revision doctor in the Northwest. Let me start this review by saying that I'm quite possibly the most neurotic patient any doctor could have: I'm not very trusting, I ask a million questions and then do my own research and return with even more questions. The fact that Dr. Stephens didn't roll his eyes at me or grow frustrated with my constant barrage of input was amazing. He listened carefully, validated my concerns and answered every single question I had with care and respect. I spent a month visiting different surgeons in the Seattle area to decide whether or not I wanted to undergo a lift and implants after breastfeeding 3 children for a total of 7 years. Dr. Stephens was by far the most caring and skilled of them all. Even with the belief that he was the best person for the job, I went in feeling very nervous about what I was about to do. Dr. Stephens and his team were incredibly nurturing and understanding. I never once felt like I was asking too much of them. I am so happy I chose Dr. Stephens and his amazing team for my breast implant/lift procedure. Being a doctor myself I was looking for the best and did a lot of research and met with multiple plastic surgeons before Dr. Stephens clearly rose to the top of my list. 1. Dr. Stephens performed breast augmentation. Somehow he made one breast larger than other and when I mentioned that he stated: "sometimes women have different breast sizes". Really? My breasts were the same size before surgery. Dr. Stephens surgery assistant mentioned that they would take care of some scars during the surgery, but that never happened. Sad... Later I called to get a data about breast implants and receptionist mentioned that they don't have my data... 2. Anesthesiologist who worked at Dr. Stephens office tried to lure me to different plastic surgeon for the next procedure. I've mentioned that fact to Dr. Stephens, he became very angry with me and refused to include me in the next procedure. I gave birth to two large babies many years ago resulting in a flabby stomach. Diet and exercise did not improve my abdomen.
