I underwent revision breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Partington in September 2025 to exchange my under-the-muscle implants for over-the-muscle implants in hopes of achieving a more natural appearance. At the time, I was 5'2", approximately 105 pounds, and had previously undergone a successful augmentation in 2023 with 415cc high-profile implants. For the September 2025 revision, we selected 560cc moderate-profile implants after discussing my goals and concerns regarding implant size and potential complications. Based on the recommendations I received, I felt confident moving forward. Unfortunately, the outcome was not what I had hoped for. Following the surgery, I developed significant rippling, contour deformities, pain, and cosmetic issues that had not existed before. In my personal opinion, the implants chosen were too large for my frame and tissue characteristics. When I raised my concerns, Dr. Partington agreed to perform a revision surgery at no additional surgeon fee in January 2026. During that procedure, my implants were exchanged for 380cc moderate-profile implants in an effort to improve the complications. Unfortunately, the second surgery did not resolve the issues. I continued to experience pain, deformity, and cosmetic concerns, and in some respects the appearance became even more difficult for me to live with. The changes have affected my confidence and quality of life, and the deformities have been noticeable enough that friends have commented on them without prompting. Over the past several months, I have sought opinions from multiple board-certified plastic surgeons in both Canada and Los Angeles. While treatment recommendations vary, several surgeons have advised that correcting my current condition may require additional complex revision surgery and substantial expense. Some have discussed the possibility of a staged approach involving implant removal, a period of healing, and re-augmentation at a later date, while others have discussed the potential use of supportive materials such as Strattice. Even with these options, there is no guarantee that I will ever achieve the natural result I originally sought. The outcome of these surgeries has left me in a significantly worse position than where I started--physically, emotionally, and financially. I am now facing ongoing discomfort, uncertainty, and the possibility of further corrective procedures. I recognize that revision breast surgery is inherently complex and that complications can occur with any surgeon. However, both revision procedures were performed by the same surgeon, and I trusted the guidance I received regarding implant selection and surgical planning. Looking back, I wish a more conservative approach had been recommended. I chose an experienced Seattle surgeon because I wanted the highest level of care and expertise. Unfortunately, my experience did not produce the outcome I was promised or hoping for. I encourage anyone considering revision breast surgery to seek surgery elsewhere. read more

Over the course of the last 10 years I have lost 130+lbs and had been nervous about getting a procedure done hoping things would naturally correct themselves to a point I would be satisfied since I was younger. That didn't happen and after having a total of 5 consultations I chose Dr Partington. My first impression was that he was very attentive given that I filled out the consultation form on their website around 11pm and within 30 minutes I got a text from his personal cell that was obviously not a generic template text. I knew if I chose him and something came up he would be quick to respond if he responded that quickly to a consultation. Next came the actual consultation. I'm prone to ask a lot of questions out of an abundance of caution and it can often frustrate and annoy people because they seem redundant or out of the blue. Also I should mention this was my first surgery ever so add on top of that my nerves. He took his time, didn't rush anything and answered the laundry list of questions I had come in with ready to ask after having already visited 4 other plastic surgeons. He cared about getting me the best result knowing the time and work I had taken to get where I was. I ultimately ended up choosing him because he took his time, didn't rush, gave me a clear understanding of what to expect and didn't skimp on the details. He is someone who seems to genuinely care about making a positive impact on people and improving their quality of life. Even after choosing him he took a FaceTime follow up to address some more of my questions and finally at my pre-op was so kind to take almost an hour and a half to be very clear as to what I needed to do post op, dispel my concerns and give me perspective to calm me down. The surgery ended up going perfectly. He called me the evening after to check on me and make sure I was doing well. The results were exactly as he had described when we met initially for this first round of surgery and I am currently 1 month post op and feeling great. There is some light swelling and numbness that was to be expected but visually the results are great. I got a breast reduction in December (6 months ago) and the entire process has been fantastic. Could not have asked for a better experience. I read a lot of horror stories about surgeons who didn't take the patient's desires seriously, or pressured the patient to go a certain direction. (With breast reductions, a lot of surgeons pressure patients to keep their breasts larger than they ask for.) Dr. P did absolutely none of that. He was totally receptive to what I wanted, gave me clear expectations of what surgery could actually achieve, and at no point suggested that I should want something different. Dr. P was very available for the day or two after surgery, but my post-op care has mostly been with the RN, Christel. Christel is *wonderful*. She's always been super available to answer questions, very attentive, very clear and helpful, everything you'd want from a post-op experience. I have had cosmetic surgery before, but I've never had an experience like I've had with Dr. Partington. From the moment of my initial consultation, everything was different. Unlike a previous experience with another surgeon, Dr. Partington listened for the vast amount of our 1 hour consultation to what mattered to me. I was interested in liposuction. Dr. Partington introduced me to liposculpture. At first, I thought it sounded perhaps a bit pretentious, though that's exactly what I got! Without doing any more working out than I usually do, I now have chiseled abs and super defined arms. The guy is truly an artist. Dr. Partington had me do this super aggressive recovery, which he calls 24-hour. I actually showered when I got home from surgery. I took no narcotics and I went out to lunch the next day. He even had me send a selfie showing that I was "faking it till Imake it", as he says. Now I'm saving up for a breast augmentation ! :) read more

I recently had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Partington and I could not be happier! From the initial consult to follow ups and post ops Dr. P and his staff have been AMAZING. His 24 hour rapid recovery had me up and moving the next day and only took over the counter pain meds for two days following surgery. Dr. Partington is so comforting and really easy to talk to. Even held my hand while anesthesia was being administered to make sure I felt safe. Christal is super responsive and always available and happy to answer my questions and never made me feel like I was bugging her with any post op questions I had. Poor Rhinoplasty Outcome Dr. Partington performed my rhinoplasty in the summer of 2017. As of today I am two years, one month, and eighteen days post op. I have no medical issues, lead a healthy lifestyle, and I followed all post-operative instructions carefully. The goal of my rhinoplasty was to refine my tip cartilage, remove a slight hump from the dorsum, and elevate the tip slightly. Instead, my nose is now crooked, a piece of my cartilage has collapsed, there is a dent on the side of my nose, and the hump is more prominent. (See my before & after pictures). I will be having a revision surgery with a different doctor to correct the issues. This will cost $14,250.00 ($8,500.00 after insurance). I have not been impressed by Dr. Partington's response to the situation. When I expressed my concerns, he implied that I was just a "perfectionist." After consulting with several other rhinoplasty surgeons following my botched primary surgery, one surgeon suggested that I ask Dr. Partington to refund my $6,000.00 given the poor outcome. Dr. Partington told me he would speak with his malpractice company and get back to me. He never did, and he has failed to return my phone calls. Additionally, I requested my medical records on July 11, 2018, and Dr. Partington was very reluctant to hand them over. After over two months of ignoring my emails and phone calls, his secretary finally emailed me a copy. This whole experience has been a nightmare, and my nose is worse off than it was prior to the surgery. My advice to avoid outcomes like this? When choosing a rhinoplasty surgeon, make sure they do prior imaging with you, have an extensive image portfolio of the rhinoplasties they've performed, and possess integrity. Rhinoplasty is a complicated surgery, and you don't want to risk getting a botched job. read more

I went to Dr. Partington for my botox in April and am VERY happy with the results. He went over placement and strategy and was just an overall easygoing nice doctor. He was able to achieve the same look I was used to getting while using nearly 1/2 the product! I had been paying for 60 units elsewhere, but with precision of placement I got the same results with only 38 units. He was thorough in explaining his placement for my features and pointed out a few key areas for me to avoid injecting. I appreciated his opinion and honesty. I waited 3 weeks to write this review, just to leave an accurate representation of my experience both during and post procedure. The results are phenomenal and I wont be going anywhere else for botox ever. I paid $1300 for Botox and lip injections. The Botox came out great, however my lips are exactly the same as when I walked in to receive the injections. The only difference is I developed an air bubble or some sort of bubble on my lip. When I called in I was told it was just a blister. I've had blisters. This is not a blister. I've had my labia ripped and hanging since July. When I told him I was concerned about the skin tear he showed me a picture pre-op and then showed me the tissue removed, which was hard to stomach. This man is insane. Who does that? Who just, in an effort to shut you up, shows you graphic photos while you're still in physical pain? An absolute sadistic move. Please, ladies/folx, please stay away. My heart breaks for anyone that's been in the same boat as me. I'm so sorry for everyone else that is hurting as a result of his negligence. I'm seeing so many reviews after July, when I got my procedure done, and it's obvious to me this man should no longer be practicing. . I could only write a small review on google so I'm putting my entire piece here: TL;DR version: can't walk and have been bed-bound for FOUR MONTHS, reconstruction costs mean I will pay over 15k in total, and this man's ego is far too fragile to do such a poor job. I don't like being yelled at and blamed for being in pain that his man caused, but that's what he does. sent me home from surgery with no pain meds. when i called him that evening he told me that "mixing a Tylenol and Advil was just like Percocet, just like Percocet", he mentioned Percocet A LOT but in the end, he didn't offer me any options to mediate my pain and I spent the next two days screaming and crying while slipping in and out of consciousness. I believe the word for this is "poor bedside manner". I slept with facetime on for two nights because I sincerely did not think i would wake up, the pain was that bad. Oh, it gets worse. My stitches, which literally were the procedure, ripped twice. When I first told him I thought they ripped he said they "looked fine" and it wasn't until we actually went into inpatient surgery at his office that he noticed they ripped. They didn't believe me when I told them, red flag number bazillion. Guess what? They ripped a second time. I called his office to let him know as much. I didn't hear back for four days. By that point, I had gone to the ER and met with an actual doctor who cried and told me how sorry she was this happened. He then blamed me because they had "tried to reach" me, but it took them long enough that I went to the ER, got a referral, and saw an actual professional so.. kind of not my problem lol. That's when I knew just how not normal and how unprofessional Dr. Marshall Partington is. I got a labiaplasty. The stitches ripped twice. Urinating was beyond painful, and still is. I explained to him that every time I used the bathroom i have to hold my bladder and release slowly, and even when I do i have to use an episiotomy bottle to block the urine from touching my open wound. Dr. Partington told me, "so the STERILE urine, the STERILE urine is hitting the wound?" I then explained basic anatomy and told him I was suspicious that he didn't know this himself. Marshall began going into what I would call a full-blown hissy fit saying, "well if you're just gonna BASH ME.." yada yada. I don't think it is cute or a good strategy for a medical professional to play dumb or clueless about basic anatomy. Whether it be for the sake of probable deniability or whatever, it's embarrassing to listen to a man who considers himself a professional to think I'm dumb enough, to go so low because hearing about my pain that he caused made him angry at... me? Make it make sense, Marshall lol. In short, I've been bed-bound since July. I can't walk, I can't mow my lawn, I can't take my dog out. I can't sit down on anything. When I eat I have to stand up and then staying standing up for another hour because my acid reflux has me throwing up anything I eat while laying down; something I've dealt with from time to time, but that Dr. Partington's poor practice exacerbated. This is what my life has looked like every day since July. I'm getting another operation to fix his work in a couple of weeks. Hopefully my mid November I'll be back to being mobile. In the end, I spent 8k for the surgery, an additional 7k for corrective work, and hundreds and hundreds of dollars for dog walkers, lawn care, grocery delivery. So, take this into consideration when choosing a doc. I thought about going to the legal route but did not want to even take into consideration an NDA or any other agreements that may prevent me from being totally transparent about the utter disregard, gaslighting, and physical pain this man has caused. I would do anything and everything I can to prevent another woman from going through the same hell as I have. PS- as mentioned by others, Marshall is wrapped up in a lot of lawsuits, so obviously his mind is elsewhere. I know what they're about so feel free to reach out to me as I think disclosing this publically is not fair to those who are doing the suing. I had upper and lower abs, sides and back love handles! He was so informative, caring, sensitive to my needs/worries and his staff did the same! I would even pay more than I did to receive the service and the outcome I have to date! With limited down time, no narcotics, although I did have swelling and numbness, which was totally explained from the start, is was a piece of cake, i went back to work the third day! Had terrible bruises each time I went- from routine facial injections. I ended up with a large lump of material in my nasolabial crease that took another plastic surgery professional to diagnose and treat. Since then, my new provider has not caused one bruise and has educated me that the methods used on me by Partington's office are not recommended anymore. I also noticed a lot of staff turnover there. Their management is condescending and does not stick to financial agreements. I would not recommend going here. read more
