I have been visiting Dr. McIntosh for several years based on a friend's referral. He is always on point but what I love most about him is that he delivers on "where you're at in the realm of societal expectation and what you're comfortable with". I am so impressed with Dr. McIntosh and his whole team. I had my girls done after my beautiful kids completely destroyed them and I am so happy. I had a very pleasant experience right from the start. Dr. McIntosh answered all of my questions during my first consultation visit and stayed in communication with me via email after I had many more questions come up. His office staff was very kind and comforting. I did go on 2 other consultations with different doctors but I just did not feel that level of comfort that I had with Dr. McIntosh an his team. Another amazing add on to the whole experience, the surgery came with a special gift of a medical facial and botox...for free. I have been thinking on how/what to write for a review and hopefully I put into words my feelings towards Dr. McIntosh and his team. 26 years fighting against plastic surgeries.. and waking up everyday with a bigger bra size and terrible back pain. I refused to, feared the unexpected and certainly the risk.. After my two babies, the pain became intolerable.. I spoke to 7 surgeon offices and visited 4 of them. The day I visited Dr. McIntosh's office my perception changed.. not all the surgeons were like the others I visited and I had found one I could trust. The amount of time he took to release my stress, to explain to me how my life would change with a breast reduction but more importantly, professionally listen to what I needed and wanted, I cannot thank him enough. After 3 months since my surgery, I can tell all women reading this post my life has changed drastically. I feel and look amaaaazing! I love my body but more importantly, I feel full of energy, my pain is gone, my life is back and I now enjoy playing with my boys on the ground without regretting it at night. Got a Groupon for an IPL photofacial. It was my first. I saw technician Susie Cooper-King, and she was great. She walked me through the process so I knew what to expect. It doesn't feel awesome, but she did a great job preparing me mentally, and giving me progress updates. I could already see a huge improvement in my complexion before leaving the office. She told me about after care and what was to come in the healing process. The office is right off 520 so it's easy to get to from most places. Unfortunately, it looks like I will need a second treatment in 4-6 weeks to get where I want to be. After that, Susie said it would be a once/decade treatment. I would suggest getting a two-treatment package because for most it probably won't fix everything in one. The regular price is more than twice the Groupon. The deals are for new customers only so I have to go somewhere else for my second treatment. That's the downside to getting cosmetic treatments on Groupon, but what else can us 99%ers do? Anyway, I would recommend this office and Susie for IPL Photofacials, whether you're a person on a budget with an internet deal or a person of means who can afford the sticker price. read more

I'll start with the most sought-after subject matter first: the results. All the scars have yet to heal but I can say - after 7-8 weeks of healing time - the results went above and beyond my expectations. I searched and assessed several surgeons and the results of their procedures, and my results are the best I've seen. On top of nailing what I was asking for: - he was very accommodating and considerate of my concerns - Angela (admin) is absolutely incredible - very responsive, competent, and friendly - the proximity is obviously close to homebase - and the reason I picked him (in addition to proximity and the positive reviews) - my out-of-pocket price was quoted at 1/3 of what other surgeons were offering. At first I was wary because the quote was so low, but after speaking with him, I realized he knew his stuff around this particular procedure and decided to take the risk. Obviously very glad I did. Saved my life by performing a tattoo excision on my ring finger. I needed it removed in order to get a certain job and he had no hesitation. It was a miracle finding him because I called dozens of places in search of someone who would perform tattoo excisions and they all directed me to laser removal not understanding how small the tattoo was or taking into consideration my time restraints. Whereas I've been tending to my skin like any bourgie woman these days does, it wasn't until I found this office that I have really gotten into the perfect routine with just the right procedures, products and equipment. I had my first microneedling session with Susie Cooper-King. She did a fantastic job. This is only my first day post treatment but I'm happy so far. My skin is very tough and I never seem to get results from peels. This microneedling far exceeded my expectations. I'm red and have some swelling but that's exactly what I wanted. I think microneedling will give me the results I want!! Smaller pores, smoother skin and less fine wrinkles. I've been looking all my life for something to shrink my pores and I think this is the answer. The numbing cream they use is prescription strength and makes the treatment tolerable and almost painless. It doesn't feel like needles, it feels more like a sanding effect, like a intense microdermabrasion. All of this was possible because Susie listened to my desired results and she delivered an aggressive treatment at my request. I think she listens to her clients and bases the treatment to address their needs. I'm a happy customer and will be back in a month or so for another treatment. Thank You Susie!!! I came here for the esthetic services - facials and such. I have been coming for a few years and they seem to have high turnover in that department. Every year, there is a new esthetician. The current esthetician is very high energy, talks like she knows skin, gives relaxing facials but is VERY quick to sell products. Unfortunately, this was my issue with the previous estheticians at this office. I hate that they push products, especially when they don't even know what they are selling. The current gal had to whip out a huge product book to decide what to prescribe to me. Are you kidding? She also sold me an expired retinol product, claiming that the only reason why companies have an expiration date is for business reasons - to sell more product. I was naive and didn't do my research, but this is extremely unprofessional for an esthetician to say and she shouldn't be allowed to sell expired products to young girls who don't know why better. She clearly wanted to get that product off of their shelf. Oh, best thing - she prescribed me a cleanser for dry skin while knowing I have extremely oily skin - she did that because she forgot to order more cleansers so they were out of the cleanser I actually needed. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I just can't believe someone would do that, she shouldn't be employed here, ruining the doctor's reputation. Such a disgrace. read more

I saw Dr. McIntosh 2 weeks prior to my wedding because he was a referral from the clinic. When I went in for my filler, the doctor seemed very insecure and was asking ME where I wanted the filler. I could only guide him based on what was told to me during my consultation (with another professional at the office). Needless to say, he filled my left laugh line too much and my lines are now uneven. He also continuosly filled under my left eye, despite seeing some blood and my under-eye turning purple and blue. Today is 4 months after Dr. McIntosh injected filler in my face and I still have a blue vein-like line popping out under my left eye. My laugh lines are still uneven. I will never go back to him again. My wedding photos have been ruined for me. read more

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. McIntosh and his staff. First off, they accept insurance for breast reduction surgery. This is few and far between for all of Washington state. In addition to this, their practice treats insurance patients with the same respect that they treat their elective surgery patients. I looked around for quite a while to find the right surgeon for my procedure, and in many cases I was treated like a "second class citizen" since my insurance was paying for procedure. I went to see Dr. McIntosh last week on the advice of a friend to get some superficial skin growths removed. While I was there, I took advantage of the time to ask him questions I had about some anti-aging treatments I've heard about from friends. He patiently answered all my questions and brought up some less aggressive (and less expensive) alternatives to treat my more weathered facial areas. I saw Dr. McIntosh to have a mole removed from my neck that had been there my entire life. It was extremely nervous to have it removed and wasn't sure what the best options would be. Dr. McIntosh was very patient with me. He gave me a few different options, along with his professional opinion of what would be best. After answering all of my questions, I felt confident about having it removed. I was pleased that I was able to have the procedure done the same day as my consult.
