I went in April 2023 for a breast reduction. I left with a breast lift. You need to be very clear about what you want from Dr. Min because I wanted a reduction from DDD to C and I ended up with the same size breasts that I had before I went in. I'm older and don't care how I look in a swimsuit. I hate the monsters even more now that I paid for surgery and went through recovery and am hauling these same monsters around. He said they would be "proportionate" and I wanted to be able to do yoga, gardening and other sports without tear monsters slapping me in the face. I was in today for a hydrafacial with Jodeena. This was my first ever hydrafacial experience and I am glad I found Jodeena! I went in hoping she could recommend me a new skincare regime for my current skin issues (acne, hyperpigmentation, dryness, sensitivity). Together they performed a complicated breast removal and then the plastic surgery that would allow me to have reconstruction relatively easily later. I experienced very little discomfort. This review is for Dr Daniel Levy: First impression of the office at Newvue is clean and updated. Parking garage is free and easy to find. The front office staff was prepared with paperwork and my appointment started close to the scheduled time. Heather (nurse) was professional and showed experience while getting me ready for my Botox and filler. Dr Levy listened to my concerns about my aging face and gave recommendations in a kind manner. The numbing cream definitely helped curb pain with the lip injections and the Botox was significantly less painful (sometimes even nonexistent) compared to what I've experienced elsewhere. Dr Levy also gave me a product for thinning hair that I'm excited to try and informed me about neck Botox to help my poor aging neck. I hate to burst the bubble here, but my experience with Dr. Minn was one of the worst in my life. I was referred to Dr. Minn through my breast surgeon after a mastectomy. First of all, I want to be clear that I am not saying Dr. Minn is a bad surgeon. I'm saying in my experience he, and his staff just don't seem to really care. In my experience, I found it impossible to reach the office. I begged to come in and have someone, anyone look at my breast expander. One of his nurses talked to me on the phone and seemed to be bothered by my worries. She actually told me to put a 'maxipad' on my lesion to stop the dripping and wait to come back to see the doctor after 2 months. After weeks of calling, concerned about 'leaking' fluid coming out of my breast, I went to my GP to have her look at it. She immediately went into action calling my original breast surgeon and making sure that I saw Dr. Minn right away for surgery. As it turns out, my instincts were correct and I had a failed breast expander and a 'dime' sized whole in the bottom of my breast which turned out to be a possible life threatening necrosis. I was in surgery days later. At the beginning of the surgery, I told Dr. Minn all of this. He did not apologize for anything or express any regrets. There was no emotion. As a cancer patient, I find this unacceptable. Cancer itself is stressful and scary. Empathy from your doctor and communication seem like a necessity to me. I found a wonderful new plastic surgeon and now, 5 surgeries later I have a beautiful breast, scars and all. I saw my new surgeon weekly before and after my surgeries. She answered every question I had with patience and kindness. She even gave me her cell phone number! (I never had to use it) I guess all is well that ends well but if you are looking for a kind, caring surgeon and staff, good communication and bedside manner, do yourself a favor and look further. After fighting breat cancer in 2017, with not only a lumpectomy & chemotherapy but with radiation, I thought eventually all that treatment would put my mind at ease for reaccurance. But it didnt. Do not go to Dr. Min for Botox. I've been getting Botox for 10 yrs and made the mistake of going here before my wedding because of a scheduling conflict with my regular Dr. He insisted on putting double the amount I usually get because he said he would be unable to make me even. At that point I should of walked out of the office but was desperate to have something done before my wedding. He informed me his partner's starting dose was 80 units and that i'll be fine. He had no finesse, was rough, used a large gauge needle and was like a bull in a china shop. Five days later my face is still sore and I now have extremely droopy eyelids. Never again, do yourself a favor and go to a Dr. that specializes in injectables. read more

I have very light skin so I'm a bit concerned about my skin as it is a bit different than some of the others out there. I had an BBL treatment with Nicki V at Dr Mins office for the first time recently and was very pleased with the results. I had a breast reduction in May 2016. I had struggled for years with shoulder pain and many other issues because of my breasts. I live in Central Washington and did months of research looking for someone around the state that I could feel comfortable with and whose work I was confident in. After doing my research and getting referrals from friends, I narrowed it down to three. I had in-person consultations with two different surgeons and a phone call with the other. I made my decision after only minutes with Dr. Min. Dr. Min is not only a fantastic plastic surgeon, but he is so sincere, thorough and is just a very caring person. You realize that within minutes. The staff at Newvue thoroughly prepared me both mentally and physically for my surgery. Dr. Min discussed how it would be a shock to me at first and that I would feel a little small but that I would grow to like the size. I trusted him to make my breasts in proportion to my body so I wasn't going for a particular size, just smaller and a size that would fit my frame. I went from a 38H (Wacoal bra) to a 36/38 DD. Such a difference. The care from Dr. Min and his staff was incredible. His surgical room at his clinic is clean and you are discreetly delivered out to your car from a back door once your are ready to go home. They were all so nice from my initial consultation to my last follow up. It's now been 8.5 months and I could not be happier. I have very thin scars and they are getting lighter by the week. I also have full sensation in my nipples and had that within days of surgery. They were sensitive for awhile but that too has diminished month by month. (This was something I was worried about.) Looking back, I should have done this years ago but I was scared, worried and unsure if I could afford it. If I was only reviewing Dr Min, my rating would be higher. He did a fine job and I have no complaints. The issues I had were with his in-office surgery center. At my pre-op appointment I was told I probably would not need drains, but that if it turned out I did someone would talk to my husband about how to deal with them. My surgery was delayed because I suppose the case before mine took longer than expected. I completely understand that, but I think it contributed to my issue. My surgery also took longer than expected so I think they were in a hurry to get done for the day. I woke up still in the surgery room. The nurse with me asked if I had any pain. I said yes, so she injected something into the IV. She then disposed of the syringe, then immediately removed the IV line. She proceeded to get me dressed although I was about half conscious. She got me right into a wheelchair. My husband, who was expecting to sit with me in recovery for a while as has always happened at the hospital, said someone asked him to pull up the car- he didn't come back to recovery at all. So he pulled up the car, and I somehow got into it. About halfway home I wondered what I was feeling on my side. Huh- tubes with bulbs at the end. Apparently drains. On both sides. I asked my husband if they'd talked to him about what we're supposed to do with the drains. Nope, nobody (beyond Dr Min telling him the surgery went well) talked to him about my tubes or recovery at all. It's kind of comical that we had to turn to youTube to figure out what to do. As I'd expected, there was a fair amount of dried blood on the bandages but I had no idea how often I should change them or if I should use any kind of ointment. I had to call his office the next day to be told I should leave everything alone until I saw Dr Min again, which wasn't scheduled until 10 days after the surgery (it was rather a different schedule than was posted on his website, which said the first follow up is at 3 days, then again after one week.) Anyway, overall the results are fine and I think Dr Min is a skilled surgeon. I would recommend him, but advise people to have the procedure done at Overlake or Evergreen Hospital rather than at his office. read more
