I've been seeing Dr. Tarbet for cosmetic treatments for over five years, and she continues to impress me. She's approachable, highly knowledgeable, and her technique is consistently excellent. When Dr. Tarbet isn't doing my injections, her nurse Natalia steps in--and she's equally fantastic. Natalia is skilled, gentle, and genuinely kind. I always feel well cared for by both of them. My only critique is regarding the office manager. As someone who works as a healthcare consultant and regularly helps private practices strengthen their operations, train staff, and build their reputation, I tend to notice weak points quickly. In this case, the office manager's interactions with patients often come across as cold and unnecessarily snarky. I've overheard this more than once. She's clearly efficient with administrative tasks, but direct patient communication may not be her strong suit. That said, the medical care itself--from Dr. Tarbet and Natalia--is exceptional, which is why I continue to return. read more

Dr. Tarbet is warm and friendly. The administrative staff questionable. I have had numerous interactions with them with no call back, no response to emails or follow up emails I have sent. I work in a medical clinic and we work very hard to respond within 48 hours to a patient. It's been 15 days since my first email to the front desk and I have not heard back from anyone. The reason I'm trying to get in touch with the office is I am not happy with the results of several procedures that I had 3 months ago. I went to Dr Tarbet for help with a long standing infection in my tear ducts. The Doctors I'd seen previously attributed my symptoms to dry eye syndrome, excessive tearing and gooey discharge. I found her on the internet. Her website allowed me to send an email describing my symptoms. I sent the same to others as well, her office was the only to respond. In surgery she cleaned the tear ducts and repaired the damage the infection had caused to my eyelids, unsightly lumps in the corner of both eyes. I'm no longer self conscious in public. the front desk person is awful. She sends us our appt reminder and instructions for id and insurance card after we finish our appt. she can't seem to retain information so we have to repeat multiple times (she claimed to us "there was a glitch" so we have to provide all our details again). now, she keeps harassing me with repeated txt messages to provide even more information about our insurance even though she has a copy of the insurance card. Dr. Tarbet, I did not meet you, but I implore you, for the sake of your patients, get someone really good at the front desk. read more

There is a reason Dr. Tarbet is always booked out, she's really that good in my experience. Thankfully, she has finally duplicated herself with nurse Natalia. Not that she hasn't had other wonderful staff (she has/does), but nurse Natalia does some treatments they weren't trained in. She has the same exact eye for aesthetics that Dr. Tarbet does and both are extremely detail oriented. Dr. Tarbet, nurse Natalia, and this clinic in general get my highest recommendation. If you see Dr. Tarbet, good chance there'll be a wait as her schedule is absolutely jam-packed (she may be a workaholic). But once she gets into the room you have her full and undivided attention, and I have never once felt rushed. If anything, she has a way of making you feel like nothing else matters (which may contribute to the wait, but you can't put a price on that level of personal attention and care). Not just stunning but she doesn't look even close to her age (they both look great!), which really inspires confidence when doing similar treatments. So just bring a book and know you are in excellent hands. With or without the wait, she is worth it. Nurse Natalia is also extremely knowledgeable (she was a doctor in Russia) and her schedule seems way more flexible. So she can be an especially good option if you want to get in sooner and/or will be in a time crunch. Shout out to Chris and Steve who are also top notch, and rest of the staff is very friendly. My next door neighbor is 80 years old and looks 60 because of doctor to Herbert , which is why I started going to her to begin with. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Tarbet on 12/28/2023 at 12:30pm. I checked in at 12:30pm and was called back to an exam room at 12:50pm. The assistant documented my issue and left the room at 1:00pm. At 2:00pm, I still hadn't been seen and no one came to the room to provide an update. I left just after 2pm and told the front desk that I was leaving. The receptionist apologized and asked if I was sure I needed to leave. I told her yes, as this appointment was in the middle of my work day. After I returned home, I called the office to ask that it be noted that I wasn't seen and that I shouldn't be billed for this visit. As of today, 1/9/2024, it appears that I haven't billed. While I was alone in the exam room, I went to Yelp to see if others had referenced long wait times in their reviews. They had. I, unfortunately, didn't check for this before I made an appointment, as I was referred by my Optometrist. If timeliness is important to you, please be aware that this could be an issue. read more

Made an appointment, the wait was 8 months. Called to reschedule and got right in.(that was only 4 months). Got called on the day of the appointment, the Dr was sick but could see me the next week. Came in, filled out paper work. Waited 20 minutes. Someone came and took me to the exam room. She began to talk to me about my eyes, not the growth next to my eye. She then began an eye exam. Then she informed me that Dr. Tarbet wasn't in today but she would be doing the exam. She was not a plastic surgeon, she was an eye doctor. After she did some tests, she looked at what I came in for. Took out her eye phone, took some pictures of it. I asked her what were her thoughts, she said, "I will show these pictures to Dr. Tarbet when she gets back into town. She will be making appointments for surgery in April or May. You can go out to the front desk and get that set up. Who does that to ones patients? Upon looking into Dr. Tarbet, she has 3 clinics in Utah. This clinic is clearly not a prority. I've never had anything like this before. Very odd and un professional. I have sought another surgeon for my care. Look elsewhere if you are even thinking of having something done. She will not be present if you have a complication. read more

I was referred to Dr. Tarbet from another doctor of mine. I had a lower eye lid surgery and a check lift, the latter per her recommendation. The plan was to also include an upper eye lids as well, but the day of surgery she let me know that she really couldn't do too much so we both decided to skip that. The problem is that they require payment of the whole procedure weeks in advance. I was told that I would receive a refund for the upper eye lid part. Guess, what, NINE weeks later and still nothing but excuses as to why I haven't received a check yet. The service from the staff is ridiculously lame. The surgery she did do....well, the lower section is still puffy, nine weeks later. The cheek lift, I can barely tell the difference. Save your money or go someplace else. read more

I made the apt for today in November or December. I arranged child care, I committed 30 min, and arrived 10 min before my apt. An entire hour passed, and I never even saw the dr in passing. I finally had to just leave. I think they're planning on keeping my co-pay. Just really inconsiderate and rude and so disrespectful for others time. read more

Dr. Tarbet's office started my tattoo removal several years ago. I bought a 10 treatment package knowing the process would take 3-4 years and would possibly leave me with some of the color and/or shading left. The treatments started out slow but great with Maggie. After the first few treatments it went downhill. Every appointment would have a new person working on me. I trusted they knew what they were doing but I was wrong. I should have asked more questions but I was afraid to speak up. They already had over three thousand dollars from me and I felt at stuck. The results of each appointment got worse and more painful. On my 8th appointment I was ready to forfeit the rest and cut my loses when I met Chris. Chris was great. He asked if I was happy with their services and I broke down. He looked at my tattoo and said the damage that was done is something I'll have to live with or pay to have pigment added back in. He admitted the recover should never have been painful or bloody. He continued to say they were aware things had got out of hand in the tattoo removal department. I felt hopefull in until they told me I'd have to pay to fix their mistakes. I did not buy another package with them. I cut ties with Dr. Tarbet and her office and have accepted my arm looks bad and I have permanent scaring because of their negligence. It's partially my fault for not demanding an explanation I guess. Hopefully my review will help others not end up in my position. read more

Dr. Tarbet did my eye llid surgery. She was recommended by Dr. Alison Hughes, a Dermatologist. I have shed many tears over the results. My eyes were extremely uneven, the dryness is extreme and she kept telling me my eyes looked fine and I must have had dry eye prior to the surgery which isn't accurate.. I went to 12 other doctors, one she referred me to that did not agree with her. I really hoped one of them would see a solution. That didn't happen. I heard one doctor who used to refer to her say to his nurse, she is unexperienced. My Ophthalmologist said she would never refer to her again mainly because the results were poor and Tarbet did not return her phone calls. Her accreditation is from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery not the respected American Board of Plastic Surgery. Whoever you go to I really hope your results are better than mine. read more

Went to KT for face lift but opted only to have neck done (4-21). She never did explain what she was going to do or how. At one time she quickly mentioned a "support"... so I don't even know if that was done or what she meant. The time I visited her she breezed in the room, said a few things, took a picture & quickly ran out like I wasn't on her radar. Due to Covid I hadn't seen her in a year before surgery & only saw her again in pre-op. There she drew sharpie lines on my face while another nurse asked me questions. Post op was a quick "how ya doin?", rewrap, & come back in 2 weeks for stitches to be removed. She wasn't there to remove stitches so Chris had another newbie do it...5 stitches were missed. I wasn't informed as to the healing process. At one time it was said I would look normal after 2 months. I called then thinking I had an infection since my cheeks were still swollen & numb but was told that was doubtful. After that I was told 6 months to look normal. It has been almost 10 months & I still have bruising on my cheek with hard, thickened skin. My ears are still tender (ringing) & swollen inside (per my doctor). There are ruffles of skin behind my ears, enough that I can't wear my hair back. Not to mention the puffiness of my cheeks (I look like a chipmunk). I never had a round face but it is now & my cheek bones don't show. If you didn't know me you wouldn't notice (except for bruises) but friends & family do notice. My neck skin is less but still have loose ridges. I didn't feel comfortable with her new all male staff. However, I thought Nancy was the saving grace for the whole office. I didn't look at the reviews...I should have. I hope others do. I hate posting this but feel the need to. read more

I still cannot shake the bad taste from visiting this annoying woman Kristin Tarbet in Bellevue last year. I felt compelled to write another review to make sure no one else is scammed like we were. Her intern or assistant performed a surgery to inject something into the eyes and said this will help Tarbet diagnose the problem. We only found out later Kristin Tarbet told him to practice on our family member because she was running late to the office. When she arrived more than an hour later, she reperformed the same procedure as if we are her test animal - and the worst thing was she was not only not transparent about why it was done twice and lied that she needs to confirm her diagnosis - she billed us for the procedures TWICE. The medical problem was made worse by Kristin Tarbet and her unskilled intern and we also suffered the financial consequence of a thousand dollar bill not covered by insurance because they did not even inform us what they were doing and still proceeded. I am disgusted by her lack of compassion and ethics more so than her doing more harm than good to patients. I could never understand how such type of physician could even be granted a board license in the first point and still walk this earth as if she is better than anyone else. Regardless of the treatment you need, I suggest anyone to stay FAR away from this woman and her practice as it is has yet to be my worst experience interacting with any professional so far in my life. read more

Dr. Tarbet and her team are amazing! They go above and beyond even when they are short handed. It's hard to see all these other people complaining when you see even grocery stores can't keep staffed. I see them even treating people from the emergency room with real injuries and some people standing in the hall complaining that they are treating emergency patients. read more

Kristin j Tarbet herself was pretty good during my appointment, though I had to wait over 30 min even though I had a scheduled appointment because "she was super busy that day" which I felt was odd and unprofessional for her assistant to tell me. The front desk lady with dark short hair who is older is awful and rude to the other co-workers in front of clients and it is very awkward, she makes you feel like you're a burden just being there. I've come in multiple times to purchase eye drops they suggested for me and the price changes every time, the same front desk lady is rude every. Single. Time. I will not be getting my surgery done here or making any more purchases and will find a different doctor because of these reasons. Not a comfortable place to be seen. read more

Two years ago, I had blepharoplasty surgery with Dr. Tarbet. The pain she caused will last the rest of my life. I can no longer close my eyes all the way plus, there is a spot above my eye that remains very tender. Because my eyes don't close, and the surgery went haywire the entire white of my eye is red. I have learned that once the eyes have gotten very red for an extended period of time the red will never go away. The pain and the redness are so severe that I take steroid drops every few months to get some relief. Steroid drops can cause glaucoma, so I am only allowed to use them occasionally. The drops don't remove the red but, the drops do help with the pain for a few days. In addition, my eyes, since the surgery, are different sizes. So, with one eye that droops and the redness I would say the outcome was a combination of cyclops and she-devil. After seeing thirteen doctors the explanation that makes the most sense is she cut my muscle. However, no one has been able to definitely and totally diagnosis what it was she did to cause such a poor outcome. According to her she is the best and she teaches others to do this surgery. That is very scary if it is true. She said she didn't cut the muscle, but I personally don't trust anything she says. She told many lies. She told me if my eyes didn't come out the same size, she would fix them. After a couple post-op appointments, she started charging me for the appointments. My question was, how are you going to fix my eyes if you don't have me come in and why would I pay for those appointments. Much to the disagreement from my family and pictures Tarbet said my eyes looked great. The truth is she could not fix the problem. She claimed that I had dry eye when I came in but, as other doctors pointed out I did not have painful symptoms until after the surgery. Every single doctor said the pain and dry eye were a direct result of my eyes not closing. I continued to see her for a long while still hoping she would tell me what went wrong, and I wanted her to stop lying to me. I wanted her to apologize and in the back of my mind I remembered she said she could fix the problem. Of course, what I really want is to be pain free, feel confident so I can look at someone when I talk to them and be in pictures with my family. The doctor who referred me to Tarbet was Alison Hughes who now knows how my surgery turned out. If she tells you Tarbet is wonderful beware because for some reason she is not giving you the entire picture. read more

I went in for a consult for some eyelid surgery. I paid in full for the consult the day of service. They billed my insurance for the visit and then I was billed 8 months later for the unpaid balance. They should have never billed my insurance in the first place. It feels like some sort of insurance scam they are pulling. Buyer Beware: This has been such a waste of time dealing with this unorganized, unethical office. I scheduled an appointment for service back in January of 2023. Somewhere from the time I schedule my appointment in Jan. to the surgery date in March, the fee went up about $1,000.00. I was only made aware of the change when I had to pay in full before the surgery date. I left several voicemails and sent an email to Nancy, who gave me the original quote. I never heard back from her. Instead, I was passed on to Eli. When I told her that the fee was considerably different from my original quote she said "Look at all that you're getting for that amount, other offices in Bellevue are charging much more". I think this is very inappropriate to tell a patient, and she is missing the point I should have been notified of the change. Every time I called I received a different answer, so I canceled my surgery appointment, on March 23, 2023. And was told a refund check would be sent out. After waiting 6 weeks I called Teri in the front office and told her I had not received a check. Her response was, "I don't know that comes from the corporate office, I asked for their number so that I could call them. Her response was "Oh no I can't give you that, there really isn't anyone that I talk to I have to email them". I called 3 times that week to follow up since I never received a callback. Supposedly she talked to someone and they were "doing some checking", she said she would call them again, I asked her to call with the update I never heard from her. About a week later I receive an email that a check was being reissued. It has been 9 weeks since I canceled my appointment and I am still waiting for a refund check. Since they won't give me the number to call the corporate office, Teri should take responsibility and find out the information and call me back. But frankly, they don't care. read more

Cindy is literally the best and I truly mean it. Nobody I would trust with my face anymore except her. I have been seeing her for a long time now before she came to this location. She is super sweet and will answer any questions you may have. Her customer service is always 100% which I appreciate a ton. At times I have a lot of questions and she is never annoyed but helpful. Her location is easy to find. It's on the bottom floor of the building and there's plenty of parking. She goes very slow during the process and makes you feel very comfortable during the whole thing. I've had variety of services done with Cindy and have been more than pleased with all them. All my friends and family have been going to Cindy to see for a long time now. I'm super picky and I do ton of research especially when it comes to my face. I've been blessed to have found Cindy many years ago and I will Continue to follow her wherever she goes. read more

When Kristin Tarbot showed up over an hour late to do a long awaited facelift for me..I should have known to run right out of Evergreen Surgery Center and cancelled the whole procedure. But hopeful for the promised refreshed and natural look I would get in return for a very expensive operation..I went ahead with the challenge. The day after surgery when I returned to Kristin Tarbot's office to be checked for progress I already knew I was in trouble. The staff member was surprised to see a very swollen left side of my face...not at all what one would even consider normal for the procedure. Dr. Tarbot even considered draining the swelling. I felt so distorted in the weeks to follow and had difficulty speaking correctly. I was fragile emotionally about what had happened and was told eventually it would resolve.......all staff including the Dr. were very patronizing. After eight months of feeling awful about both sides of my face looking differently..I find that the Dr. Tarbot only offers vague alternatives all of which I will again have to pay a lot of money for. Dr. Tarbot made some sort of a mistake in doing my facelift and won't simply acknowledge that....offer to correct it and I find her very insincere and insensitive. I have a bright mind and I know exactly that she is treating me like an idiot. I trusted her and especially her staff member, Nancy, all of which has proven something I never should have done. I feel I have been lied to and treated very unprofessionally .... At a very high cost. There would never be another day that I would let Dr Kristin Tarbot touch my face or body in any way. Several issues...all operations related...all for $50 consultation. First, getting an appointment is painful. Might take you many attempts. Next, web form needs to be completed. Finally, got to room to wait 60 minutes to no-show Doctor. Who's making sure Doctor keeps schedule? Excuse was Dr was at hospital. Bogus...saw her in office when checking in. All the while, office staff too busy gossiping over The Bachelor. Finally, this was a 12-1 pm reservation where me, the customer, took a lunch hour plus 1 hour of commute time. This place sucks. Moira did a Vi peel on my wife's face ...she claimed it was a gentle peel and my wife warned her how sensitive her skin is... Moira assured her it was gentle, and it would be a few days of downtime... She then proceeded to burn her entire face. 19 days later she still has spots and marks all over her face. Really unbelievable, this place should not be in business. I have been asking my wife to write a review on Yelp, she is hesitating because she thinks somehow theyll fix it. I'm approaching 60, and spend a lot of time outdoors. I never spent much time on skin care. I am shocked to read the negative reviews of Dr Kristin Tarbet and her staff. I have been a patient for close to 10 years and have always been treated with the highest level of care. I have never been left in a waiting room with no communication as to time frame expected. The treatments I receive have made a change in my life. I feel confident in how I look and know I can always rely on her for sound advice. A few years ago I called Dr Tarbet in a panic. My cousin had just been diagnosed with skin cancer just below her eye. Dr Tarbet immediately returned my call and provided assistance to my cousin. Her staff is very competent and has always been respectful of me. I have never seen or heard them being unprofessional in any manner. Last week I saw Dr Tarbet and received excellent care and my procedure went great as it always has. I asked about skin care products and she introduced me to Moira Dunn, Licensed Aesthetician. Even without an appointment Moira made time for me and was very helpful. With her council I am now on a superior skin care line and look forward to working with her in the future. I left feeling pampered and secure in knowing that I have Moira's expertise and sincere care. I am just an average income person without a lot of extra money to spend. Both Dr. Tarbet and Moira are mindful of this and work around these parameters. I have referred Dr Tarbet to my best friend who has now been a patient for about 2 years. I will never get a face peel ever again, Moira the estetician that works with Dr Tarbet was highly recommended, she suggested that I should get a peel to have really clear skin. I did mention that I was leaving for Napa in 10 day and also that I was very sensitive to the sun and burnt easily. She highly recommended the Vi peel, don't think she had ever done it before. Moira said it would be a few days down time, I thought it would be completely cleared by 5th or 6th day but instead my face was horrible looked like it was burnt till the 10th day. It was so embrassing to take my 3 children to their activities When my husband returned from his 15 day business trip he was shocked and now my face 20 days later still has burn marks. It Was Absolutely The Worse Thing I've ever done to myself. Now I am walking around wearing makeup even to the gym, which I never did before. read more

I have been going to Dr. Tarbet's office for over a year at least once, if not twice a month. This review is about her fantastic staff. I have received excellent care every time I have been there and all the girls are very friendly and personable. I trust them completely with my skin care and found it very hard to read these other reviews that gave one star and attacked the office staff. I think these people owe it to themselves to give it another try. You will never receive better care and advice about your skin. I am 48 and get compliments daily on how young I look. I thank it all to the office of Kristin Tarbet and her amazing staff. I have not actually done plastic surgery but have friends who have in this office and Dr. Tarbet makes it look so natural.
