Went on Monday 8/31/20 and got amazing quesotacos that looked just like the pictures. Crispy, thick and had those nice charred pieces of cheese. Went again today 9/3/20 and got some asada quesotacos and they barely had any meat and cheese and the outside was less crispy and just white. David's is THE best!! My husband and I showed up 10 minutes after they closed not realizing they had closed. However, they had enough for a few tacos and gladly sold them to me. I will say, when they're there and not out of meat, the food is excellent but They're not consistently there. Or when they are, they're out of meat or only will serve tacos. We've gone a total of 4x and only had their food 2x and once was biria which I'm not a fan of. They advertise all different kinds of meats and food items but the times we've gone they weren't serving anything but Barbacoa tacos one time and biria the other. The Food was excellent But if you advertise that you are OPEN, and have all these different items, you should have those items. Otherwise, update your yelp to show that you're closed, what you are serving and until when. read more

Me and my man got pastor burritos and a carne asada quesadilla, everything came out super good and wasn't expensive.

Food was not great! We ordered 2 tacos with salsa, they were greasy and forgot the salsa. My quesadilla was not good, the cheese wasn't even melted. I could see the cold shredded cheese. The very bottom of my quesadilla was soggy, mind you there was no salsa on that either. Not sure where all the sogginess came from, maybe the pile of lettuce on the top of it. They probably had the lettuce soaking in water..My husband ordered a tostada and he said it was very greasy and had no flavor. I Ordered taco with no onions from this place. When I got my order my tacos were full of onion. I let them know being I'm allergic to onion. The lady checked my receipt to make sure I ordered with no onions which I did. They said that they would remake them. Comes to find out all they did was pick out the onions and did a horrible job at it. They left alot of onions in my tacos and when I called them on it from the parking lot they forwarded my call. I've gone to this taco truck around 8 times now each time is a different experience. I'd like to preface this by saying this is more a reflection on their service than on their food. Each time I come here I generally buy a minimum of 10 tacos. Each time I never pay cash, I always pay with a debit card. Each time I come here and I order, they tell me that they are sold out of ingredients and cannot make them. So I come at an earlier time like two hours after they open and they tell me the same thing they are sold out. There was one time that I finally got there in time and was able to order my tacos. I asked for 10 Chicano tacos and confirmed it with the woman at the window. When it came time to pay, they tried to give me quesatacos instead of the Chicano tacos that I had asked for. They didn't have enough ingredients for them to remake the tacos so I told them I would come back the next day and order them again. After that I decided to start calling ahead and ordering over the phone so that they can plan the order ahead of time. I've done this before on a Saturday morning and was able to place and pick up the order with no issue. So I decided I would try to call ahead again to place an order. This time when I called they demanded card information over the phone and refused to place the order with out all your card information. Then he mentions that there is now a fee for debit card payments. I have been here several time before and have never once had it mentioned to me that there is a fee for card payments. I assume that it is the standard 3.5% fee but it was not. They tacked on an extra 12.25% for a card fee and he charged this to my card before mentioning how much it was going to be. When it came time to pick up my order today the workers in the truck did not have it ready and the did not believe me when I told them I had ordered ahead. I then had to wait almost 30 minutes for them to prepare the order. The entire point of ordering ahead is so that the food will be ready on time when you go to pick it up. Over the course of my visits here I have made sure to bring new people to try out there tacos every time. I have brought them about 6 new customers over the past several weeks some even coming from the Bay Area just for these tacos. I also have been recommending this place to everyone that listens but after my experience with them I do not think I will be going back and I think anyone else should also question if it's going to be worth the time and the headache. A 12.25% card fee is absolutely outrageous. That is 4x the amount of the standard fee. This was the first time that they even mentioned a fee after my several trips to this truck. It really seems like they are trying to profit off of their customers card fees at over 4x mark up. On Saturday mornings there is a girl there that is always great and I have never ran into issues with her. But DO NOT GO ON FRIDAYS. It is not worth your time. The team that they have in the truck on fridays are the ones who keep messing up every single one of my orders. Their food is excellent. That's actually the only reason I keep going back. You cannot find another taco like their Chico taco it is absolutely amazing. read more
