If I could give Zero stars, I would. Upon arrival we found Many workers standing idle yet no one was prepared to assist with our appointments. Three groups of 3-4 customers in the store in total so overcrowding was not an issue. For our appointment, the bridesmaid dress was already selected by the bride prior to our appointment and we came in with the style number and photo. The only service needed for 1 group was measure, try on, and order the dress for 2 bridesmaids. The next thing was to shop for mother of the groom dress. After being denied the appointments we scheduled (2 people to be fitted in 1 group and 1 in the other) we were forced to have only 2 people in the store and one sales person to help. Mother of the groom and companion were forced to go outside and wait until the first 2 were waiting inside for service. The website stated 3 people per appointment and that's why we agreed to make separate but simultaneous appointments with 2 per group. We scheduled to comply with COVID policy yet we did not receive service. After wasting 2 hours and having only 2 people receive poor service at best, we left and went to the Pineville store where we were given prompt and professional service. read more

I've been to a few bridal shops looking for the perfect dress to say I do in. This was definitely a great experience! They were extremely helpful and the process was really simple and easy. I enjoyed the attentiveness and eagerness to make sure I found the right dress. I even loved how they got accessories to see what looked good with the dress! The store was clean and well organized. I liked how there were so many mirrors so you could see all angles of the dress. I did get my wedding dress there and I'm so excited about wearing it. After I ordered my dress I received so many coupons for discounts on wedding party attire and free stuff! I knew this was going to be a good shop, but man did they really impress me! read more

My girlfriends and I had an appointment at this location and were excited to try on bridesmaid dresses. It became apparent quite quickly, however, that the lady who was consulting us was distant, disinterested, and rude. Very rude. Her name was Sandra, and she ended up disappearing for long periods of time during our fittings, leaving the bride to walk all around the store to pick our dresses for us. The entire process was painful and Sandra's attitude and demeanor were the root cause- we were so frustrated that we left without purchasing anything. I made a "Bridal Party" appointment for a couple days ago at this location. I brought one bridesmaid and my Matron of Honor in with me for the appointment. I have never been to David's Bridal, but was referred by a few people. The two ladies working at the front desk were not the greatest with customer service. I understand there is more stress and possible frustration on companies and employees due to COVID and new guidelines that have to be followed. However, these women were not at all happy and were quite rude. There was no conversation above asking for my name and time to check us in. I had a couple questions to which the only answer I got was "No ma'am." in a very rude tone with raised eyebrows and ugly looks, which myself, my bridesmaid and Matron of Honor could tell even with the women wearing masks. The questions were "While the girls are trying on dresses, can I look at wedding gowns?" "Can they go ahead and look at the bridesmaids dresses?" And "Do you have any available appointments for today so I may see bridal gowns?". Understanding the new guidelines for David's Bridal was quite difficult as it took a bit to get the two ladies working up front to explain any of the process, after I asked all of these questions. They obviously were unhappy giving the explanation , when all we were really told we would have a stylist and we cannot touch the dresses. The stylist we had was very kind and helpful. She made sure my bridesmaids were happy with cuts and colors when they were trying on dresses. Another stylist actually stepped in and helped us as well. Watching other stylists interact with other clients in the store, they all seemed quite as kind and helpful. My bridesmaid decided on a gown and bought it. My Matron of Honor picked a style and color and wanted to put it on her profile so she could order it closer to the wedding. One of the women up front was helping her at the register. All I am willing to say about the situation is when my Matron of Honor was adding her dress to her profile, the same woman made her extremely uncomfortable by stating a "catty" and rude remark to her, which made me uncomfortable as well. I am very excited to plan my wedding. I came into David's Bridal with the same excitement. I was so unhappy from the beginning, because of the treatment we received, I wanted to leave the store. Luckily, the stylist made it better so we figured we should stay for the appointment we drove out of town for. I was reluctant to go back to the front of the store during my time there. A wedding can be quite expensive, so I would like to spend my money at a place where the employees have some sense of decency. I am glad my bridesmaid and Matron of Honor found their dresses, but I will not buy my bridal gown from this company and I will express to my other bridesmaids to do the same because of this experience. The rating will be two stars due to the stylists making up for the behavior of the women working the front desk. read more

I have been to this location of David's Bridal on two separate occasions, both times, their customer service was absolutely horrible. The first girl I had to work with, Sierra, was not friendly at all, didn't pull any dresses I liked, was rushing me and I felt like I was a bother to her for being there. I went again earlier this week to look at Mother of the Bride dresses because I found a gorgeous dress elsewhere. We walked in and were greeted by the girl behind the counter, who was very nice. She told us to pull some dresses that we liked and that we would be in room 5, that our assistant would be back to help us shortly. Well whoever was assigned to help us never came, no one came to ask us anything. Someone who said he was the manager came over for a brief 15 second "y'all okay?" And that was it. After we had already finished looking at everything we wanted, a lady came over and asked if we needed anything and when we told her we just wanted to add 2 of the dresses to my favorites list, she had nothing else to say to us because she realized we weren't buying anything and walked away while we were still asking her questions. The customer service at this location is absolutely atrocious. We won't be returning to this location again. We will drive all the way to Pineville to not use this Davids Bridal. read more

I would give this store less than one star if I could. There was not enough staff to really assist you. I had to pull my own dresses. Being this was my first time shopping for my dress I need the dress coordinator assistant. However, while I was trying on dresses she was too busy trying to help other customers. She also messed up my dress size even though me and my wedding party kept telling her the size she was suggesting was way to big. She suggested a size 20 and I am a size 14!!! The management was less than helpful- I spoke to the manager in the Charlotte office and I informed the corporate office of what occurred and all they did was say sorry. I have sent another message to the corporate I will wait to see what they say. I would not suggest anyone use David's Bridal for anything. read more

Came here last month to check out wedding dresses. The receptionist lady seemed annoyed when I told her that even though my wedding won't be until next year that I just wanted to see what they offer and figure out my style so that I can see if this place is worth going to again when I'm ready to buy a dress since I didn't want to waste my bridal party's time when a few of them come with me. My stylist was Lisa. she was pretty nice and helpful. If I do decide to come back then I will most likely request her. If it wasn't for the front desk lady I would've gave a higher rating but I guess we'll see if I go back I'll update my review. read more

All of my bridesmaids are in different states so I chose David's Bridal because they had locations near everyone. Each bridesmaid went into their store, got fitted and the store ordered the GOLD dress I had in my bridal file. When the Charlotte ordered dress came back, it was ROSE GOLD, although the receipt said gold and the tag on the dress said gold. My bridesmaid contacted the store to let them know what happened and for them to correct it. They told her they could not assist her (although they are the ones who ordered it!) and she had to go online, purchase another dress (which shows a delivery date at the end of July and my wedding is in August), send the wrong one back and wait for a refund. This sounds ridiculously unprofessional. It was David's error and David's should have both corrected and expedited a new order. At the very least have her to come into the store and walk through it rather having her to do it online. We ordered dresses well in advance I did not like the fact that she had to pay for two dresses and the new delivery is so close my wedding date. The way this situation was handled by David's is appalling. read more

I came here to try on sizes for a bridesmaid dress that had been previously chosen by the bride. Our consultant helped us find the dress. When I put it on, she insisted that I eat absolutely nothing until the wedding (5 months away) and to only drink water... MAYBE the occasional lemon. We all had a good chuckle at this, presuming it to be a joke. However, she repeated herself at least 7 times, and she was only addressing me, despite the fact that we had another bridesmaid with us... not quite sure if it's a joke or not anymore. The dress is beautiful and I can't wait to wear it, but the in-store experience was a little upsetting. read more

This place is disgusting!! I was supposed to be looking for my wedding dress and realized immediately that it would not be happening. I was assisted by a woman named Carmelita and she was not helpful! I came in with 21 dresses saved from the Davids Bridal app and she proceeds to tell me they have none of those dresses. I asked her what they do have and she just waves towards the dresses and says just pick some. She is the worst and this place is awful. I already called the manager and complained. read more

We had an appointment at 6:30 and we never had any one help us till about 7:30 or after. Luckily I already knew what I wanted the bridesmaids to wear. After having issues with the staff in the Pineville location when my sister was getting her dress, my future sister in law went to Northlake. Cecelia, the asst manager, realized something was messed up with my order (thanks Pineville) and called me immediately to fix it. I understand Saturday is a busy day for bridal shops but it would have been nice if someone would have a least acknowledged me when I walked through the door. Where do I start? First off, I wish I didn't have to give this place a star because they don't deserve one. I made an apt for my sister and her 8 bridesmaids and our mother to try on dresses. We did exactly what we had been told, make two back to back appointment and lets just say not one person there was prepared for us. I called the week before to confirm and everything seemed fine until we walked in the door. They "took" down all our sizes and styles. When i went to call back and order every ones dresses they only had 3 people down, wrong names/info, wrong sizes, wrong style, and listed my sister as a bridesmaid. Do a house cleaning and get rid of half the staff and reorganize. This places is a joke and I will never go back here. read more

I went there in January for my wedding dress and the entire time I was there I felt like I was annoying them or inconveniencing them. I went back recently to look at bridesmaid dresses and it was yet again the same thing. They weren't friendly and I didn't feel like they cared about my event at all. If you can find a different David's Bridal I would consider that option, even if it's a little further away. With her assistance I was able to get the perfect outfit for my son's wedding. In fact all staff members I came in contact with were as helpful as they could be. I tried to get an appointment in the Pineville store first because that's closer to my home but no one answered the phone after several attempts. When I walked in, no one acknowledged me or my mom. We finally walked up to someone, told them what we needed to do there (look for a bridal gown), & were informed we would need an appt. When I explained I had been calling & gotten no answer, she just said "sweet". She said we would have to wait & see if someone could work us in then added "don't pull any dresses out" when we said we would browse. No one could help us. She offered to make an appt for the following day. I decided to wait. We drove to Group USA, I found & bought a beautiful gown. No need to go back now. This isn't for the Alterations but for Kristen my bridal consultant who was the most amazing and attentive bridal consultant ever! And she was 8 months preggers!! She made me feel amazing in everything I tried on and really put together an ensemble that made me feel like a bride! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the dress I did finally decide on they didn't have in my size or even close to my size, but Kristen gave me such a wonderful idea of how it will look on me that I am buying it anyway! David's Bridal is always promoting their wide selection of dresses at multiple price points. Famous for their $99 sale. I went in to find my wedding dress after browsing their vast selection online. When I told my consultant my budget of $200 she instantly said we need to raise it to $250. We then proceeded to pick out a couple dresses that were actually closer to $300. I did find a dress I like but did not like the experience when I picked it up. I didn't mind the wait to be attended to but I did not like that my dress was in a flimsy plastic wrap that you get from the dry cleaners. I tried on the dress again with no assistance and felt like I was just expected to take it and go. Decided not to buy anything else from them. Maybe that's just how they operate... read more

We went here a couple of weeks ago to find bridesmaids dresses for my wedding. Upon walking in, the greeter was extremely rude and short with us. My sister had made the appointment for me so it was under her name "Amber." Well, when my sister told her that she was not the bride and I was, the greeter ROLLED HER EYES, cut my sister off in the middle of her sentence and turned to me, while hurriedly asking me my name and information without saying "hello" or "congratulations" or anything. She had a complete attitude with me. I have never been treated so poorly at a place like this. After I told the greeter my name was "Andria" about 3 times, the sales associate walked over to take us back to find dresses. The sales associate asked the greeter what the bride's name was and the greeter said "Amber". After I clearly told her 3 times. I corrected her and she just completely ignored me and continued on being rude to other customers. The sales associate was very nice and helpful to us. The only reason we even bought dresses from there were because of her. Because I was literally about to walk out of that place after how the greeter treated us. We found some really pretty lace dresses. However, when we went to place our order at the register, the line was ridiculously long. We stood in line for about 20 minutes, waiting to place our orders. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. We would have gone back to the place we had visited before David's Bridal, but it was so far and we needed to order the dresses that day in order to have them in time for the wedding. I highly recommend that you use another bridal boutique, unless you don't care about poor customer service. read more

Overall I had a fun time shopping for a wedding dress with my closest friends. I had a scheduled appointment (at a non peak week day time) and the attendee Shawnessy was attentive in helping me identify and try on dresses that fit my style. On the other hand, the greeter/scheduler was a bit abrupt and rude upon my initial check in. I didn't catch her name but it is obvious that she doesn't have any passion or enthusiasm for creating a positive experience for new customers. read more
