David's Bridal provided the dresses but mannnn the customer service from Diana was heaven sent. Sweet Filipino lady with a talented gift of bringing a bride and a bridesmaids vision to life. Her work ethic and attention to detail is unmatched. My best friend who just got married 2/16/25 looked absolutely stunning! Her dress fitted well and the attention to detail on everything was more than we could ask, think, or imagine. Thank you Diana for loving what you do!

After buying a very expensive wedding dress at a boutique and losing to much weight for it to get alterations, I decided to check out David's bridal for a cheaper dress option. My sister actually picked out this dress and showed it to me and instantly I was in love, and it didn't need any alterations and was a quarter of the price I originally paid. (Truthfully I didn't even like the first dress I bought) and this dress made me feel absolutely stunning!!!! It wasn't even similar to my last dress but felt so much more me! Anyways I wish I could wear it 100x more because it's just such a beautiful dress. So happy we decided to come here, and even more happier I left with the DRESS OF MY DREAMS!

My daughter tried on a few dresses and then Teresa was able to hear what my daughter liked on the ones she tried on and then find her the dress that had the elements of all the highlights. We found the dress and bought it that day! Just a great atmosphere all around!

HOWEVER, what they…read moredidn't tell me is that the rule of thumb is no more than two inches and certainly not more than two dress sizes (I bought this off the rack) because it starts to compromise the structure of the dress when you need to alter too much. I didn't see how much needed to be altered because it was all behind me clipped up by the gal helping me. I took my dress to two different people to alter it both who said 'they shouldn't have sold you this dress. It's way too big for you. ... and repeated again, this bridal boutique should know better - they shouldn't have sold this to you." Could they have altered it to fit, yes, of course but it was going to take A LOT of time and restructuring and that means A LOT of money. Nearly as much as the dress. Just be aware of this when you go there because apparently they are not educated about the rules of alterations and if they are, they aren't forthcoming about it. SUPER disappointed to have not been told about this. And now I need to find a new dress because it's will be cheaper than the alterations. :-(

As a proud Jewish woman, I asked if they carried any Israeli designers -- a simple, polite question. The sales associate could have easily just said, "No, we don't carry any." Instead, she chose to make a point by telling me that they are boycotting Israeli brands. When I replied, "Well, I don't need to shop here then," she smirked and said, "Probably not." That wasn't professionalism -- it was hostility. She knew exactly why I was asking, and rather than respond respectfully, she went out of her way to inject her political bias and make me feel unwelcome. I fully understand that people have different viewpoints about this difficult time and the conflict in the Middle East -- but there is absolutely no excuse for taking it out on customers or for treating anyone this way. What I experienced today was unacceptable, offensive, and frankly disgusting. Let's call it what it is -- antisemitism. Singling out Israeli designers and speaking to a Jewish customer with such contempt is discrimination, plain and simple. There is no place for that kind of behavior in any business, especially one meant to celebrate love and joy. I left feeling hurt, angry, and deeply disheartened. Idina Bridal should be ashamed of how their staff behaves. If you believe in kindness, respect, and standing up against antisemitism, do not support this store. Seattle has many wonderful bridal boutiques that know how to treat people with decency -- Idina Bridal is not one of them.

The associate (Selena) was very helpful and was mainly in charge of my appointment, but the other woman working with her (I think it was owner, Nadine) was very pushy and kept interjecting into our appointment. Should be noted that this review is solely based on how Nadine treated me, not Selena. A few things Nadine did really made my experience a very negative one: 1. Although my appointment was in March and I did NOT want a custom gown, Nadine immediately told me my wedding in December timeline was "tight" and "probably not possible" before I even tried my first dress on. It should be noted that when you make an appointment, you fill out when your wedding is. If my timeline did not suit the business' timeline, then I would have appreciated a call witht he concern prior to the appointment. I believe this was really an attempt at creating a false sense of urgency. 2. Nadine kept popping in and out of my dressing room even though she was helping another bride during the same time, suggesting dresses I had absolutely no interest in trying on. She kept pushing a style that I corrected her multiple times saying I did not like. She continuously pushed the style of dress (poofy ball gown - she was insisiting every for fitting dress I tried on should have an ugly tool overlay over it) and veil (a cheap pearl veil that looked like it was from the dollar store). Poor Selena would put me in a style I liked only to have me stand on the floor and have her come over immediately with these items after I repeatively said no. 3. There was one dress that Selena was having issues zipping and I think Nadine hear us chatting about it, burst into the dressing room (while I was half dressed) and said "that dress will NEVER fit her. You'll need at least two sizes bigger and we definitely dont have that". Extremely rude and beyond inappropriate. The last few points are not completely related to Nadine, but I recieved multiple calls the day of saying that they would not have the proper staffing and wanted to move my appointment, even tho I made my appointment 3 weeks in advance. I was open to being flexible at the time and they did eventually end up accomodating my original appointment, but since I have now shopped around I realize this is a completely unprofessional request. The store in UVillage is also dated and not very well kept, although they do have beautiful dresses. It was also a little unnerving showing up to my appointment early only to have to wait because there was a group of teenagers prom appointment running over. While Selena was very nice and we definitely vibed, Nadia made me so uncomfortable that I cancelled my follow up appointment and was afriad to go back. I ultimately decided I do not want to give this store any of my business based on how I was treated. I was not going to leave any reviews because I did really appreciate Selena, but I got an email this morning asking me to write a review (addressed to "Hi %NAME%," - how personal!) so here we are! TLDR: I'm sure they have some beatiful dresses, but unless you have the exact same taste as the owner and are a body size she deems respectable, just go somewhere else. $35 is not worth you mental health and friday afternoon.

Unfortunately, my experience after that was disappointing. As a first-time bride, I relied heavily on the expertise and guidance of the consultant. I didn't feel like I received much help finding the right dress for my body type, measurements, or concerns. In fact, my friend was the one who ultimately found the dress I purchased. Throughout the appointment, I felt somewhat dismissed and unwelcome. The interaction was not particularly warm or helpful, and I left feeling like I was being viewed as someone who wasn't serious about making a purchase, despite being prepared to spend thousands of dollars on my wedding dress. I also felt pressured during the process. I was not allowed to take photos in the dress to review later or get a better sense of how it looked unless I purchased it first. As someone making a $2,500 purchase, that felt unreasonable and made me feel like the focus was more on making a sale than helping me make the right decision. The biggest issue came afterward when I took the dress to alterations. I was informed that the cup size was significantly too small for my chest and that there was very little that could be done to properly correct it. Had I been advised of this before purchasing, I likely would have continued shopping for a dress that better suited my proportions. I'm not a wedding dress expert, which is exactly why I went to a bridal boutique. I was hoping for guidance and honest feedback, especially on such an important purchase. Instead, I feel like I spent $2,500 on a dress that doesn't properly fit my body, and I'm left feeling disappointed that such a major fit issue was never discussed before the sale was finalized.

She went above and beyond the "day of" role and was the best money we spent on our wedding. We communicated frequently the months leading up to the wedding, she ran our ceremony rehearsal the night before, and she worked a 15+ hour day the day of the wedding making sure everything was just how I envisioned it. She also provided a wedding day timeline and contacted vendors for me, among many other tasks I don't have room to list here. I was a type-A (read, anal) bride with a very clear vision and a tiny budget by Seattle standards ($15,000). Kirstie was extremely professional, prompt, and easy to work with before the wedding and during. Although she was planning many weddings at one time, she made me feel like mine was the only one. I picked out several of my vendors myself becuase I knew exactly what I wanted, but Kirstie gave suggestions for the ones I didn't have, and they were all amazing! She has great connections. The set-up for my wedding was tough. There is nothing at Golden Gardens so everything had to be brought in and set up the day of (and taken down and cleaned, which Kirstie did). I also had a lot of DIY details that I wanted arranged a very specific way. Kirstie and her crew worked a crazy, long day arranging flowers, setting up tables, hanging decor, getting everyone in order, etc. Your wedding day is such a blur that you need to spend time enjoying your guests, your new spouse, and just enjoying the moment.
