On 8/13/15 I posted my review (please read it below)...today I wish to revise it. I have seen many a times where on a bridal tv show, like Say Yes to the Dress, a bride comes in and is having second thoughts about the dress she thought was the ONE only to know deep inside, it is not, and now she needs to start the search all over. Let me tell you I stressed over going back and expressing this ache inside to please find a different one. Well, the lovely ladies (Devon, Pat, etc) didn't bat an eye, they just went out of their way to find me my perfect dress! They new my budget was tight, and they were pulling dresses and crunching numbers just to help me!! Well after I tried on the first one..(A beautiful Oleg Cassini, that has lovely light pink flowers, oh how I longed for pink in a gown) I knew I didn't need to try another single dress on again...God just set that only 1 available, discontinued, designer gown aside, just for me and for Devon to find. When I put it on, I cried! Pat helped me with the correct bra, and I purchased Spanx. They had all I needed there! To my surprise, I was Immediately asked by Leila, the lovely, talented, patient, kind, and mind-reading alterations gal if I was ready to do alterations...I was!! I wanted, sweetheart neckline, straps and cap/flutter sleeves made from my dress. I watched in awe and she made all my desires come true!! I have chills right now thinking about it! While that was happening Devon ran around and found the perfect belt and headpiece, and I was finally a BRIDE! I loved how they would take turns and come and talk and laugh, and ooh and aww over me. You just felt like, well, a Princess :) Especially when they gather girls, and have you "Ring the Bell" a long-held tradition at David's Bridal...so much fun!! These Ladies at David's Bridal in Madison, made all my dreams come true! They are unbelievably wonderful!! RUN TO THIS LOCATION AND THESE LADIES and you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! No need to check out other bridal boutiques, or worry about any past years negative reviews!! I just can NOT say enough great things about my experience!! If I can give any advice to a new bride I would suggest go with an idea of what you want/don't want. But try on anything and everything. Have a budget that is flexible to go higher. You need veils, headbands, shoes, slips, undergarments, etc even if you plan on not-you will! Also pray and ask GOD to help you find the ONE. Then listen, as you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you "hear" your thoughts, "its ok, "I love it", etc. Because you can find yourself listening to others, and then changing your mind. Listen! Be present. Also have someone take pictures and videos of each dress you try on...then look at them there - how do you feel when you see yourself..."beautiful, but I don't like..., I feel fat, skinny, etc...LISTEN to GOD speaking through you! 8/13/15: I have been so blessed, I had the most amazing experience with David's Bridal today! My consultant was Devon. A lovely, wonderful, caring, fun helpful gal! She pulled so many dresses for me and never once was impatient, pushy or too busy (and she did have another bride she was helping). She was so careful to stay at my budget. Listened to every change in my desire I experienced as I tried on each dress. Pat was lovely and funny too! Leila, came out to discuss some alterations I had requested and it reminded me of Say Yes to the Dress, you just felt special and your desires heard! Never rushed! They all made me feel so very very special. I never felt as if I was being pushed to buy accessories, like veil, headband, belt, satin belt, etc. All the staff there care about each other and it shows! A big plus for me, as they are all Christians and you just feel you're in great hands! I was very picky too! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND David's Bridal in Madison TN. You will LOVE all the attention and fun! I see bad reviews here back in 2014 and earlier...seriously that was then and it is not now. Don't hesitate-go there today. read more

First let me tell you I started my bridal gown search in local shops in Clarksville TN but just wasn't finding a good selection. I booked an appointment at the Davids Bridal in Franklin back in October 2014. I had my sister, mother, sister in law and mother in law fly in from Massachusetts to help me pick out a dress. It was tense to make sure I got one while they were all in town. We got to the store in Franklin, TN and the associates seemed fine but not overly welcome. I will admit my party found like 50 dresses to try on. I am sure the young woman was thrilled about that. When it came to trying things on I really wasn't all that comfortable with having the associate help me and she seemed content with not doing so. The atmosphere felt odd, almost like they were to good to be doing this job. Needless to say I found a few I liked but couldn't decide so we left with no dress in hand. Our associate wasn't eager to go any extra mile to sway me. The next day we ran out of options and on a whim, towards the evening we all went to the Davids Bridal in Madison TN to see if they had anything different. Immediately I was greeted by Teonka. We explained to her our situation and time crunch. She was by my side pulling dresses and some of the same dresses the other store had that I had in the final running. I felt like she cared and I was fine with having her help me try on the dresses. Right away Teonka gave me me the proper undergarmets which totally transformed every dress I slipped on. They didn't even offer them during the entire process at the Franklin location. When I told her she seemed shocked. She came up with a system to find my dress. Each dress we asked if it was better than the one before, if so it became the new dress to beat, if not then it went back on the rack. After laughing like crazy and having a great time I found my dress but only thanks to Teonka. The craziest thing about it is the dress I chose was one of the two dresses I was undecided on at the Franklin location. The difference was Teonka took the time to let me see myself in it was the proper undergarmets and added some jewelry and hair accessories to make me realize the dress was perfect. Bobby the manager was also wonderful and topped my experience with validation and the tradition of the bell ringing when you say yes to the dress. I highly recommend this location to anyone. I read the other reviews, some good some bad but to me, mine is the only one that matters. If anyone from Davids Bridal reads this I hope they let Teonka know how special she made my experience. I am currently a general manager for a large retail corporation and I would try to steal her in a heart beat if she was anywhere near Clarksville, TN to work in my store. read more

I had a couple of awesome experiences at David's Bridal in Madison, TN. During my first visit to the store my mother and I were warmly greeted by the young woman who was signing in customers. Within a few minutes I was greeted by my consultant Joslyn Berce who immediately began relieving the anxiety I had come in with. She listened to everything I said about what I wanted (or didn't want) and helped me select dresses to try on. [Side note: I had some idea of what I wanted, but wanted to try on multiple fits to see what worked best for my body type. Joslyn was very understanding and helpful with this endeavor]. She found some dresses I had seen online and others I picked in the store. The more time I spent with Joslyn, the better I felt about trying on dresses. She was so helpful and encouraging! When I finally found "the one" she was cheering right along side my mom and I. Joslyn made my experience almost magical! On my second trip to David's Bridal for my fitting and accessories purchasing my mother and I were again warmly greeted at the sign in desk but were bummed to find out that Joslyn was not working that day. However, in just a couple of minutes an equally exuberant consultant Meg found me and told me she would be helping me that day. I asked her to find my mom a chair before we got started (my mom has been ill recently and can't stand for extended periods of time). She immediately found a chair and brought it over for my mom. Meg was fluttering between me and a bridal party of at least 4 women, but she still managed to make me feel like I was her only customer at that time. She made me feel comfortable and welcome. Just like Joslyn, Meg listened to everything I had to say and she helped me perfectly match my accessories with my dress. She knew exactly what was in stock and found me EVERYTHING I wanted. It was so simple and easy and I felt like a bride! Thanks to Meg, my bridal look was complete. Additionally, something that I was very touched by was what Meg did at the end of my appointment. During my first visit, I opted out of buying a couple of items, which I decided to buy during my second visit. Apparently David's Bridal consultants get paid on commission because Meg told the Manager that rang me up to give Joslyn credit for the items I hadn't bought before, but had purchased on my second trip. I highly recommend ladies looking for their bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and mother's dresses go to David's Bridal in Madison, TN!!!!! read more

Yesterday I got married, sounds simple right? Well, maybe not exactly simple. You see, I am a 50 year old lesbian and after 32 years of passionately loving and sharing my life with my partner Tina we finally got what neither of us thought would ever be possible in our lifetimes, the chance to be legally wed. I walked into David's Bridal on 1/16/16 looking for that once in a lifetime dress" no pressure" not knowing what to do or expect. I was quickly given the opportunity to work with Miss Dana Jenell and she was fabulous. You see I was her first bride, so my love story became hers. Dana asked me all the right questions about my relationship, the venue and what type of wedding dress I envisioned for my historic day. We carefully went through the many racks of dresses picking out this one and that and at the end Dana said now there is just one more dress I wish you would try. It wasn't a style I saw myself in but Dana said I would be surprised at how this dress would fit me. It of course was "the dress" and everyone knew it as soon as I stepped out of the fitting room. She nailed it, the right style, fit and color exactly. The bell ringing ceremony had everyone in the store crying and then I had my dress. Happy ending time, right? Just 4 days after purchasing my beauiful dress I had a terrible accident shattering my right leg below the knee. After multiple surgeries an 8 inch titanium plate and 9 screws my vision of walking down the aisle was laid to rest, I would be in a wheelchair. When I went in to do my dress fitting we were having a reasonable amount of trouble getting me in and out of the dress since I really couldn't stand. Then up walks Dana and she once again saved the day! She is truly my hero! I had so much confidence in Dana I actually asked the store manager Miss Bobby if there was anyway Dana could come to my wedding to help dress me if, of course, she wanted to attend. I explained the situation with my leg and Miss Bobby graciously allowed Dana to leave work early enough to help with my wedding. Dana made my wedding dream come true, albeit with a bit of a injury twist. *** UPDATE**** I went today to pick my dress up today!! Sonya was great, very apologetic and most helpful!! I found out that it was beyond there control what happened to my dress!! They have used my incident as a learning experience!! I ordered my wedding dress on 4/8/18. I was given a promise date of 6/25/18. I called today to see if my dress had arrived and somehow Lisa and i became disconnected! I called back again and asked to speak with a manager. I was informed Lisa was the manager the one i previously was disconnected with on the phone. I spoke with her and told her I was previously disconnected while on the phone with her. I then went on to tell her I needed to see if my wedding dress had arrived she said okay looked up my information and said no it's still in processing it's not due to arrive until 6/25/18. I told her today was 6/25/18. She said "oh yeah it is i will need to call the warehouse and see what's going on." About 20 minutes later she called me back to let me know she wasn't exactly sure what was going on with my dress but they were expecting it to arrive in another 2-3 weeks she said "is this okay" I told her yes but if it was going to be any later than that I would need someone to let me know. She responded "we are doing the best we can okay" and abruptly ended the call. I myself work in customer service and understand how difficult it can be. However I do feel as though I was not treated respectfully by Lisa in this situation!! I know this is by no fault of Lisa's that my dress hasn't arrived at the estimated time, however as a manger I feel Lisa could have handled the situation in a manner in which I would have felt better about my dress not arriving on time. Due to Lisa's management of this situation I have reconsidered purchasing all 10 of my bridesmaids dresses as well as my 4 flower girls dresses from David's Bridal. I am very unsatisfied. read more

I had a really great experience at this David's Bridal. They got me right in to my appointment. I would suggest making an appointment in the morning right when they open, it was alot less busy than when my appointment was over. My stylist was Dana, and she. was. awesome. Hysterical to be around. She has been there for 3 years and loves her job. She was quick to understand what I wanted, and she told me to not be afraid to tell her no when she suggests something I did not like. I had already looked at dresses on the Davids Bridal website and had a few links to a couple of dresses I already liked. She only took a glance, 2 seconds to look at the picture of the dresses I showed her, and she knew EXACTLY where they were in the store. In 10 minutes of being there, I had 3 dresses to try on. The first one I tried on ended up being THE ONE. Dana was like, " Do you like bling?" We tried on different belts with the dress, and actually the first belt Dana suggested ended up working really well with the dress. Dana was SUPER EXCITED to find out I am planning to be a traditional bride, and brought a veil that looked like it was made for my dress. Everything matched so perfect. Dana and my grandma were crying, lol. I tried on the other dresses just to see, but my family and I kept referring back to the first one. Dana had such a great vision for my outfit as it all came together. We also talked with one of the people that do alterations there, Jenna. She was really great at explaining what they do for alterations. We paid for the dress, belt, veil, and slip that day. The alterations are paid for after the fitting is done with the dress in the right size. The fitting is set up for a future date when everything special ordered should be in. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this David's Bridal. read more

My daughter and I went into David's in search of a gown for an upcoming Marine ball. We were politely greeted immediately upon entering the store. My daughter wrote her info on the guest log and was handed a ticket for our consultant. In less than a minute Dana was at our side. She asked what my daughter was looking for and went to work. There are boards posted with all styles of gowns and colors. My daughter chose a few she liked, gave Dana her size and within very few minutes she had several to try on. Dana stayed right at our side the entire time, provided heels for my daughter to guage height/length. She assisted with absolutely everything, was extremely patient and a delight to work with. Once a decision was made Dana personally called to get exact order delivery date for us as the ball is in October. While she was making that call we strolled around looking at the racks and happened upon a beautiful dress my daughter loved. When Dana returned to us we told her she wanted to try it on. She smiled at us, said absolutely and escorted us right to the dressing room. The gown fit my daughter perfectly so no alterations needed, it was the perfect color and we were able to take it immediately. Dana could have easily been frustrated given all the time and attention in trying several on, then trying a couple a second time, and making the phone call only for us to find a completely different dress but she was just as amazing. She did not pressure nor rush and in fact was actually past her end of shift yet stayed with us to the end. I cannot say enough great things about our experience and Dana. I highly recommend David's and if you have the opportunity to work with Dana, take it! You'll feel like the only lady in there. Thank you, Dana!!! read more

I have been to other bridal shops and also to this David's Bridal before and unfortunately did not have the best experience as I did not have a lot to spend on a dress but I am also a plus size lady. My fiance and I recently decided to elope and I had one month to find a dress. I happened to get an email from David's Bridal and saw a few dresses on sale including one for $99 that looked like what I wanted. I spoke to Kaytee on the phone to make sure I could get in before they closed and she told me to come on. What saved this store for me was my consultant Meg. I honestly walked in expecting to settle for a bridesmaids dress but Meg was not having it. Amazingly, the only dress they had in the style I saw online was my size. I told Meg to grab some bridesmaids' dresses and she said no and swore we could find something. We did grab a few other more expensive dresses but I tried on the one I wanted first and it fit like a glove. Meg fitted me out with shoes (on clearance no less!) and everything else I needed. She made me feel special even though I know I wasn't much of a sale on her end but she didn't care. Even though there were not a lot of people in the store, she ran around the whole place trying to get people to watch me ring the bell but when no one could come, she made it like she was a whole audience herself. She was AMAZING and thanks to her, last week my fiance was blown away getting to see me in a REAL wedding dress on our special day. THANKS MEG!!! read more

Can not say enough good things about this store and the wonderful associate, Dana, who assisted me! I recently got married in March 2016 and moved to TN from NJ so I am very familiar with David's Bridal from back home. I unfortunately did not always have a great experience throughout my wedding with Davids but had to get a bridesmaid dress for my best friends upcoming wedding in October. From the time I walked in I was taken care of and from the moment I was introduced to Dana to the time she walked my husband and I out the door was an absolutely pleasant experience for us both! What guy wants to sit there while his spouse tries on dresses lets be honest, especially after an hour drive to get to the closest store! Not only did Dana pick the perfect dress right out of the gate she made the experience pleasant for me and my husband included! He was so impressed with the service she provided and wanted me to make sure I gave her a wonderful and well deserved review. From going through the wedding process and having worked in retail in the past I know it is not always an easy job but I have never received such excellent service that Dana provided from start to finish. I only wish my best friend and other fellow bridesmaids could have received the same excellent service from this wonderful person as I did but so grateful that I had the experience I had with Dana and the Madison Store. 5 Stars doesn't even begin to show how valuable this associate is to Davids Bridal. read more

This was my first wedding dress shopping experience, and it was unforgettable. I worked with Meg, who right off the bat was personable, funny, and in tune with my wants and needs. She treated me and my family with the upmost respect and made the entire experience so enjoyable. I found a dress that made me and my entire family cry, but because it was the first place I had ever been to, I wanted to go to an appointment I had at another shop first. Meg created a "come back" appointment for me for later that afternoon when my other appointment would be over. She assured me she knew we'd be back because that was definitely my dress. Of course we went to the other bridal shop and quickly realized that the customer service and the experience was mediocre compared to at David's Bridal. Not to mention their prices are so much more reasonable than everywhere else! So, we went back and were welcomed by Meg at te door. She hid the dress so no one else could buy it while we were gone. She got me back into the dress, did my hair, and helped me find the perfect accessories to go with it. She even worked with my family and friends afterwards to help us pick out bridesmaid dresses! Meg was fantastic and I recommend her to every bride that walks through that door. She made me feel special and important. The rest of the staff was friendly too, and they were not shy to make compliments as they walked by or were working close by to where I was showing off the dresses. read more

My experiences here were wonderful so far. I chose to try this location after going to the one in Franklin a couple of times and being treated like an inconvenience. The Madison location had a completely different vibe. They were professional and very helpful. Vickie made sure I was satisfied with the dress I was ordering. On my first visit, I thought I knew which dress I wanted after trying a bunch on and went to check out, but got butterflies thinking I was making the wrong decision. I had been considering two completely different dresses and felt I needed another opinion. Vickie was wonderful about it and even let me go back and try the other dress back on. She let me make a second appointment for a few days later when I would be coming straight from work. A couple of days later, I was able to find someone to go with me, so I called and asked if I could change my appointment. The store manager (who has also been great) said I could come that day after work. My friend and I arrived and I was allowed to try on several more dresses and was told Vickie was on her way into the store. Sure enough, Vickie showed up on her day off to help me. I ended up ordering the original dress I had first decided on. I am so happy that they took the time to help me make the right decision and that I wasn't treated as an inconvenience. I hope that my future visits will be just as pleasant! read more

Back in February, I made an appointment to view/decide on bridesmaids dresses for my upcoming wedding in September. My goal was to find dresses my bridesmaids were comfortable in, affordable, and came in different color shades. Devon was my consultant that assisted me, and 4 of my 5 bridesmaids that day! She helped me find the perfect dress that everyone loved and the colors that worked for my 'vision.' She was such a wonderful person to work with that, myself, my sister and my mother then returned at the end of March to look for a dress for my mother and also attempt at finding accessories for my dress (which I purchased from a boutique, prior to my visit to David's Bridal). Devon again, was amazing! We left that day with a veil, slip and jewelry for me, and my mother's dress on order! Now... 3 months later, I have returned to David's Bridal to again ask for assistance from Devon. This time... to purchase a new dress - somewhere along the way I wasn't happy with my original purchase and knew that I must go back to have Devon's help! She helped me find the perfect dress - that works great with ALL of the accessories that I already have! Devon, by far has been a huge part of making my day special and stress free! Truly a fantastic experience for me! I had originally steered clear of David's Bridal because of some preconceived opinions. However, after my 5th upscale bridal shop appointment ended awkwardly, I called DB desperately to make an appointment. They were able to schedule an appointment for me within the hour. First WIN. I go in and am pleasantly greet at the door and given directions while I wait for my consultant to finish up. I begin to look at dresses and WOW they do have beautiful designer gowns for half the cost of the other shops. second WIN Devon was my consultant and it was a perfect match for me. She seems to be very in tune with a brides needs and comfortability. At one of the other salons they actually had me dress in front of them. I was totally embarrassed. Devon was there exactly when she needed to be. The other consultants were also amazing. Every single staff member was so sweet and complimentary. It was the perfect experience for me. I knew it was the dress, but I needed to sleep on it, so Devon kindly scheduled another appointment for me the next day without any pressure to buy right now. That sealed the deal for me, I knew she truly cared and I wasn't just another sale. I found the dress of my dreams and got to ring the bell and be celebrated. Wow.... where do I even begin?! DANA ANDERSON! That's where. She is AMAZING. From the fact that she took time to listen to my needs, paying attention to details, her AWESOME, uplifting attitude, and how she is SO GOOD at what she does! I walked into the store at 9 AM, with a specific dress in mind. That dress was found online, on their website but their website said it was Out of Stock, so I politely told her that I understood that they may not have that dress and if we could find something similar to it, then I'm okay with that. Dana wrote down the number that was included with the dress and said she would be right back. Dana comes back WITH THE DRESS OF MY DREAMS AND IN MY SIZE! This dress could not be found in their database. It was nowhere to be found at ANY of their locations across the US. How is it that the dress of my dreams happens to be in the location I live close to and IN MY SIZE?!?! Fate. So Dana takes me back to the dressing room, helps me try on my dress, and it fits like a glove. Perfect. No alterations needed, it all fit me perfectly!! Dana then helped out with picking out the perfect accessories, from the Tiara to the veil, to the Bridal preservation box, SHE WORKED IT! She was soooo much fun and her energy is amazing. This was not my first time here that I will say off the bat. Last year my best friend came in to get her dress for her wedding and I got my maid of honor dress. Now a year later it became my turn. When we went in later in the day the store seemed to be in a very relaxed atmosphere. A lovely young woman greeted us at the counter and told us someone would be with us in a moment. She called got Dana to assist us. She got a little wide eyed when she saw my date was only a month away but I don't blame her since it's definitely a little crazy to be searching for a dress that close to the date. She laughed along with us when I told her I know I'm crazy. We picked a few out and Dana helped find a few as well that was inside my budget. She assisted me with making me feel wonderful in the dresses and lots of laughter in the dressing room. She definitely was professional and felt like another friend there helping me decide on a dress for a simple ceremony. I really enjoyed my experience there with all the ladies working. I definitely recommend this location since every time I have been it has been comfortable, professional, and fun. I am still processing the fact that I now have a dress to be getting married in, thank you for the happy feeling and tears! read more

Let me preface this by saying I HATE David's Bridal. HATE them. I think they are the Walmart of Bridal Stores. That being said... Yesterday was the BEST experience I have ever had at a bridal store. My sister in law is getting married next year, but she is a very reluctant bride. She has been in almost 30 weddings...she has seen it all! After a disappointing day of wedding dress shopping, she suggested stopping into David's Bridal. I was dreading it. It was Saturday afternoon. I knew this place would be mobbed & they would be irritated with us not having an appointment. But in we went. We were greeted & the staff was so friendly. My daughter went straight to the flower girl dresses. Before I knew it, Elisa was guiding my daughter to a dressing room just for her! She made my little girl feel just like a princess when she placed a tiara on her head! In the mean time, somehow Elisa was 2 places at once & putting my sister-in-law into a beautiful dress. We asked about a dress on a mannequin, Elisa had no problem pulling it down. Even though the store was very busy, we were welcomed & felt like we were the only customers in the store. It was a fabulous experience, and a the bride ended up walking out with a dress in her hands! read more

Before I shopped anywhere else, my mom and I went in on a Sunday to simply find out what shape gown I like, not thinking we'd actually find my dress at a chain store. We purchased the second gown I tried on, AFTER going to several of Nashville's most popular bridal salons. I can say that the service and comfort level at this David's Bridal made shopping a joy. The experience I had in choosing a gown was made extremely special by the sweet hearted service i received from the David's Bridal associates, especially from the store manager, Pat. The dress that I purchased is unbelievably beautiful, a design by Oleg Cassini, with beautiful fabric and fit. The alterations department provided superior service and allowed me to feel comfortable in being very detailed with my preferences for fitting the dress. Jessie spent over an hour with my mom and I in our fitting appointment, and covered every fit concern with expertise. I can't wait to come back in for my second fitting. Overall, David's Bridal was a total surprise for me. I expected to just try on a few dresses to find out what style of gown I liked best, and ended up finding the dress of my dreams and stayed under budget! read more

(Bridesmaid Dress). I scheduled an appointment, day-of, but got caught up at work that evening and needed to push it back a little further that evening. It was no problem at all for them to accommodate me. Once I arrived, Dana welcomed me and was so so warm and kind from the moment I opened those doors to the moment I left. She was sweet and super knowledgeable about sizing. She took one look at me and knew my size. I didn't believe her, but she was right! She made my appointment quick and so fun. We laughed, we high-fived, we accomplished exactly what I came in to do while making it a great experience..but with all of that being said, she still remained professional. I really appreciate Dana and her great attitude. The world could use more rays of sunshine like Dana. David's Bridal in Madison is so so lucky to have someone like her. It always makes my business heart happy when I come across someone that puts the customer that they are working with first and does everything they can to make it a pleasant experience...with the best smile on their face. I would like to share a recent experience we had at David's Bridal in Madison, Tennessee. My 89 year old mother has been asked to walk down the aisle at her grandson's wedding. She needed a beautiful dress for a beautiful occasion yet did not want to spend a lot of money. Our first stop was David's Bridal. We were introduced to Dana, a darling young lady who was extremely helpful. She not only assisted my mother but took a special interest in her and her wishes. Dana found the perfect dress and they soon became best of friends. Although my mother would have been happy to buy the dress, I hated for her to select the first dress she tried on. We thanked Dana and set off to shop. In the next two weeks we shopped at Dillard's, Macey's, The White Room, The Bridal Warehouse and several consignment shops. She tried on lots of dresses but always compared them to the first dress and to Dana who had been so kind to her. We could have ordered the same dress at Dillard's $30 cheaper. We decided to return to David's Bridal and to Dana to purchase the dress. We were greeted with open arms. The dress is now in my mother's closet waiting for the wedding day.
