CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS! I bought my dress there in August (it's now late March) and tried the dress on for the first time after purchasing it just this week (big mistake). Was a beautiful dress, but after much thought was just not workable for my wedding. Anywho, I phoned the store and spoke with Georgia. She was amazing! Without hesitation, she told me to come in (made an appt. for me the next day!) to come in and exchange the dress. When I arrived I met with Jenna (a consultant) and she directed me to Doreen and Denise, both managers. Again, without hesitation, I was told that my dress could be exchanged and that Jenna would be helping me. Jenna literally dressed me from head to toe (dress, shoes, veil, sash, everything!). I was there for quite some time because I wanted to make sure my second dress was THE dress. Jenna didn't flinch. She brought me a slew of different dresses and was so accommodating with her time. She made recommendations based on what I told her...I felt heard. When wrapping up, both Doreen and Denise spoke to me to insure my exchange process went off without a hitch. It was seamless. Jenna was also there to make sure everything went smoothly. I have to say that this was one of the best bridal experiences I've had as a bride so far. Update to our visit: After the experience below I called & spoke to a manager. She was very sorry for the visit and ask that we return. The dress would be reviewed & if the wrong size was ordered they would make it right! We returned and it was great! There was nothing wrong with the dress we just needed to know how to lace up the back in order for the dress to fit correctly. The two managers Doreen & Janine were fantastic and very sorry we had the experience we did! Janine also informed us about when & how the alternations work and what we need to do. I know have a happy 'bride to be'! Although our first visit selecting my daughter wedding gown was fine. (The ladies are all very nice who work at the Nashua NH store.) However, when we picked the dress up it was not so nice! First we were told we didn't need an appointment, second the dress was brought to the dressing room wrinkled and had a slight stain on the front. Then the saleslady left us to our own devices! I had to assist my daughter into her gown and the dress was TOO SMALL!!! There is no way she gained a full dress size in two weeks. I think the size was marked wrong. I had to locate an associate and ask for help, she brought the seamstress who immediately started talking alterations! When I explained that the dress size was confirmed by the sales lady at our original appointment, because that dress she tried on was too large & that clips had to be used I got an 'Oh well'! My fault for NOT insisting that we try on the sample gown again to see if perhaps the dress sent was mark incorrectly...these things do happen. This experience which should have been exciting was saddened by us waiting around and not getting any help at all. The stain was removed without a problem. That's said there is no way I'll return for the mother of the bride nor will we go back for the bridesmaids gowns. read more

To the Alterations department! Vicki McDonnell is the nicest person at the store! She cried with me when I did find the dress. But Vicki was amazing explaining what we could do for a bustle and so on. My future mother in law, maid of honor and I went there yesterday and Vicki was so helpful and attentive even though the store was very busy. She found a way to make me feel like I was the prettiest bride in the store. Again, thank you so much Vicki for making this experience as relaxing as possible. You are simply amazing! Now about the sales representative.Unfortunately the sales person working with me DID NOT listen to what I was requesting and was showing me dresses that were twice what I told her I had for a budget.She was also working with another bride who I can only assume had more money to spend and therefor she would probably make more of a commission. My matron of honor took control of the situation and found the perfect dress for me. I had also made an appointment for my maid of honor and matron of honor to look at bridesmaid dresses. The sales rep did not even try to help them pick out dresses. My matron of honor left without even trying anything on. It was so sad that we had such a horrible experience with the sales rep but such an amazing experience with the alterations dept. read more

I wish that I could rate with zero stars, honestly. David's Bridal in Nashua just ruined my best friend's wedding dress three weeks before her wedding. Their alterations department mistakenly hacked off her train. Jeanine (sp?), the assistant manager, was horribly rude throughout the entire experience, too. David's Bridal should really train their employees better in customer service, especially when your customers are coming in to plan for the most important day of their life. Ruining a bride's gown, then walking away over and over to go help other customers throughout the store, offering to Velcro on a fake train, and then finally suggesting a lipstick stained dress off the rack for a 20% discount is unacceptable. If you care at all about your wedding day, take your business elsewhere. read more

Vikki in the alterations department was wonderful! She made me feel beautiful and was concerned first and foremost how I felt in my dress! Altering my dress for the big day was no small task but I was absolutely blown away how perfect it was! Vikki was kind, considerate and I'm just so appreciative of all the hard work she and the alterations department put in to making me feel beautiful for such an important day in my life. Personally I work retail so I know phoned in customer service when I see it and Vikki was just so genuine I cannot stress enough how fantastic she made me feel Thank you Vikki I definitely will recommend your alterations for years to come. read more

I had gone to a different David's Bridal in MA a couple of weeks before and my experience was amazing! The consultant listened to me and gave me suggestions based on my feedback of each dress. She didn't rush me, pressure me to "just try it on with a veil and see how you like it." And I left feeling like I had found a few contenders for the big day. They were having their $99 sale when I went to Nashua. I mostly went just because they were having a sale and not every store has the same dress. I wasn't set on buying a dress when I went because we haven't even firmed up a date yet so I have plenty of time. I expected it to be busy, but it didn't appear to be crazy full of brides. So right off the bat I tell my consultant that I've been to another David's Bridal, this is what I like, this is what I don't like, this is the style I'd like to look for, and asked if she could look me up in the system to see what dresses I'd already tried on so I could try a few on again. She "couldn't find me in the system" because, as I found out when I left and magically appeared in the system, she spelled my name wrong on the sheet and didn't bother to ask me. She found a bra for me, but I had to recruit my family to help me into it and in and out of every dress because she disappeared. Every time she brought me a dress she would hang it outside my room and rush off to find more without asking what I liked or didn't like about it. When I told her I didn't want thick straps, bling or a lot of skirt, she said she had a beautiful dress and came back with a giant, tulle ballgown with thick sparkling straps. Literally every time I told her what I didn't want, she would bring it to me. And when I said I didn't like a dress, she'd try to get me to try on a veil because "it adds to the dress." If I didn't like a dress without a veil, why would I like it with one? I was stuffed into a small corner of the store with no space to move, surrounded by plastic bags and dresses I didn't like while my consultant made comments about how she'd already helped several brides that morning and she was tired. It's a huge decision and I really wanted to feel relaxed, take my time looking at dresses. I just felt rushed, overwhelmed, and like an inconvenience for the whole hour, that in the end I just told her I was done and I didn't want to look at more. David's Bridal is great! Everyone's experience is different, I just personally won't be going back to the Nashua location to purchase my dress. read more

Absolutely awful. I bought everything from gown shoes and bridesmaid dresses there. I as asked about how much alterations would be they said 200. I went there tonight and left bawling because the total was 340. I will tell you I feel awful. My five bridesmaids mother in law have canceled there alteration appointments and I have also can celled my flower girl dress appointment. If my wedding was not six weeks away I would have walked away with my dress tonight instead I drove an hour and a half home crying! Zero stars and my other four engaged friends are going to other bridal shops as well read more

Ok, I'm going to preface this with a caveat - I came in without an appointment today, just to look around and I didn't plan on trying on any dresses initially. I'm just in the beginning stages of wedding planning but I've been looking at so many dang dresses on Pinterest, I had an itch and stopped by when I happened to be across the street. SO - the girl at the front was nice enough, I told her I was just peeking around. She wasn't rude, just not very knowledgeable. I showed her one dress I liked in particular on my phone and she said, "Well, unfortunately, our dresses are by style." I don't know what that has to do with anything...show me where this shape is, then? So anyways, I'm peeking around and I keep coming back to this one I really like. There was virtually no one there, I went in on a Tuesday afternoon, so I asked if I could just try it on. I have NO IDEA what style will look good on me, and was hoping maybe trying one on would help. So I get a "consultant" who had to tear herself away from b****ing about another customer. She pulls it off the rack and puts it in the dressing room. I was surprised there was no mirrors in the dressing room, but no big deal. I thank the girl for helping me, I know I didn't have an appointment - and then she proceeds to say "As long as your not like this other bride that came in with no appointment today, she tried on THREE dresses to figure out her style, then left!" Three dresses, huh? Sorry she inconvenienced you so much, I figure since you're standing around doing nothing anyways... Well, I struggle into this dress and it doesn't fit, that's fine, no big deal. I come out and the girl goes, "Well, do you want me to get another size or what?" Well, I don't know, considering I can't zip it up one inch probably, yes. But, since you're the most unwelcoming person I've ever met, no. I ask her if she has any style suggestions for me, and she says whatever I want. So I left. And I won't go back. If trying on one dress in the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday was this awful, I can only imagine what it would be like if I had a bridal party with me. read more

I had a WONDERFUL experience at this David's Bridal store, and I'm so sad and surprised to read all the negative reviews. My first visit was last summer (2013). Our consultant was fabulous and even chose some different styles for me beyond my 'favorites' which had been chosen by me before my visit (they prepare your favorites for you in advance if you choose them online). The first style she chose for me was PERFECT! She really was able to read my taste and style. And it is the dress I purchased! One caveat: At my second visit, to try on the dress after it arrived, I was left to put on my bustier and dress by myself, which is impossible. I found a manager and told her that I had been left without help, and she quickly found someone to help me and was apologetic. Not sure where my personal consultant had gone at that point, but what matters is that they got someone to help me put it on. So, yes, it's a chain shop with a lot of employees and a lot of customers. The dresses are not expensive enough to allow for the kind of personal attention one would get at a much higher-end boutique. I'm so sad for people who have had a bad experience at these shops. Choosing a wedding dress can be one of the highlights in a bride's life, and it should be deliciously fun to do so! I recommend making your appointment for the quietest time in the shop (I think I booked mine for noon on a Monday), and bringing your mom or older sister or someone who will be on even ground with the sales clerks, if that makes any sense. : ) No one should feel pushed around or ignored, no matter what! read more

I recently purchased a dress here for my Senior Semi Formal dance. I brought the dress in for alterations and was told it would be ready in six weeks. Two days before I was supposed to pick up my dress I was called to say the dress was not ready but I could pick it up a few days later. When I went to pick it up on the rescheduled date, the dress was not ready and, in fact, hadn't even been touched since I dropped it off. The woman working at alterations had every excuse in the book as to why it was not ready. I most definitely will not be purchasing anything from David's Bridal again. read more

I had such an incredible customer service experience that I just had to share it with the world! Me and my future daughter in law went to the David's bridal in Nashua, NH and met a wonderful woman named Vicki McDonnell. She was the Alterations Manager for this location. The attendee called in Vicki for her expert opinion on a dress fitting matter with my daughter in law's dress and in less than 10 minutes, solved our issues and made us really feel catered to and well taken care of. She listened to all of our concerns and gave us our "real options" with the time frame allotted. Vicki's nature is loving, kind, compassionate and yet possesses that "Get it done and done the right way first" attitude. This immediately put my heart and mind at ease considering our strict timeframe of less than two weeks till the wedding. We felt connected to her right away and in such a short span of time we knew that we only trusted Vicki (and her talents) to this venue. Being a Director of Human Resources myself, I wish I could take this kind of employee and duplicate her for my own work team. She is strong, sweet, loving and thorough and that combination of skill sets is SO hard to find in one person these days. I will shop at this location in the future only because of the experience that Vicki provided to me. I didn't feel like I was in a chain bridal store when we were in her care. I made a yelp account just so I could review David's Bridal and warn other brides about this. Service was so-so, no better or worse than I was expecting. Not a bad experience for a chain bridal store. BUT, if you decide to go to any David's Bridal: DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CONTACT INFORMATION. They have you fill out a form 'to get some more information about your wedding' so they can 'better serve you' Since my appointment I have been getting phone calls, emails, letters from wedding photographers, travel agents, DJs, website designers, honeymoon package coordinators, tux rentals, florists, wedding planners, tent rental, caterers.... you name it, I'm getting a phone call about it. I am usually extremely careful about giving out my phone number, but when using it to set up an appointment at a bridal store I didn't think for a second they would distribute my personal cell phone number to hundreds of vendors and phone scam companies. If there was a box to check saying "please do not release my personal information or sign me up for promotional services" I absolutely would have checked it. Just protect yourselves ladies, apparently David's Bridal sells your info. read more

As a bride, I had a vision of what my first experience would be like when I tried on wedding gowns, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed during my experience with David's Bridal. When we arrived the 2 consultants at the door were curt and cold. They were rude to my bridesmaids when they brought over bridesmaids dresses for me to take a peek at while I was waiting for my consultant. After going back to the dressing room, I told my consultant what I was looking for. She initially pulled 2 great dresses, but after that I felt as if she stopped listening to my wants and dislikes. She kept acting as if the seamstress could fix any problem and I felt like she was just trying to make a sale and not being genuine. My number one complaint is that I found it to be extremely unprofessional for the consultant to ask one of my bridesmaids to help me get into the dresses, instead of her helping me. My bridal party should just be able to sit back and be anxiously awaiting my appearance from behind the door. The chance to have that moment of awe was taken away. Meanwhile, my consultant was helping another party of bridesmaids, leaving me and my girls to help ourselves. Lastly, I found the dresses to be poorly cared for. Many of the bridesmaids dresses that we pulled had pen stains or dirt marks on them and one of my top contender gowns had a stain on it and had an unpleasant odor. The customer service was unpleasant for such a special day and I would not recommend them to anyone. Even when I tried to give my review, I was given an error message which made it difficult to share my thoughts, so here is my second shot at it. read more

I went to Davids Bridal in Saugus, ma. I made an apt for myself and my brides maids. When we arrive my brides mates were told they needed to make an appointment even though I had already made them an appointment. The experience was not good. Well we decided to go to Davids Bridal in Nashua, Nh. DW highway. We got the best service just walking in to that store with out even having an appointment. We ordered our bridesmaids dresses that day. We were so excited and happy as the team of girls there were amazing. When one of the dresses came in. I told the Mgr there who was assisting me, that I didn't like the dress I got. She immediately had a girl assist me in finding the dress that I wanted. I found my perfect wedding dress and they even took back my other dress that I did not like. The dress I got at a different Davids Bridal store. They made me so happy and excited. They all worked together as an amazing team even when the store was busy. They were Awesome!!! I will recommend Davids Bridal of Nashua NH to every Bride out there!! They were the BEST!!! I have been to David's Bridal on two separate occasions. The first time was for my bridal gown, the second for my bridal party. The first experience was painfully long and it was like pulling teeth to get the consultant to pull more than 3 or 4 dresses. She basically just gave us the magazine and said "pick what you want". I thought it was the CONSULTANT'S job to pick out dresses based on your vision hmmm guess I was crazy for thinking that!! Mind you, this was my first time trying on dresses. I went in feeling happy and excited. I left feeling stressed and anxious-not exactly the way I anticipated my first experience being. I shook it off and just blamed it on an inexperienced consultant. So when it came time for me to pick out my bridesmaids dresses, I figured I would give David's another chance. My bridesmaids are on a budget so I figured David's would have a decent selection with a lower price range. WHERE DO I BEGIN FROM HERE??? I called to book the appointment and the person on the other end of the phone was extremely rude and seemed as though I was interrupting her work day by requesting an appointment on a saturday. Well saturday came and we were running 5 to 10 mins behind, so my MOH called in to let them know. Again, the receptionist was extremely rude and basically told us that they are too busy and would be taking a walk in before us because of our failure to arrive on time. When we got there the place was an absolute MAD HOUSE and it was clausterphobic just being in the facility. We were told to wait and waited THIRTY MINUTES before someone remotely acknowledged us. The woman came up to us and very quickly said her name and then practically sprinted to our dressing room. (a 5x5 square box for 4 girls. nice.) She did not ask any of our names, did not ask who the bride was, did not ask what we were looking for. She basically just opened the door and told us to try on the one dress that we had found while we were in there browsing through the hot mess of bridesmaid dresses for during our thirty minute wait. Well after trying on one dress we decided that quite frankly, even if we were to experience a miracle and find a dress that was halfway decent and not 100% cheap and tacky, we did not want to give these lousy people our hard earned dollars. That being said, we left promptly (the consultant did not even notice) and took our business elsewhere. I will never go back to this place again unless I am forced to by a future ignorant and uninformed bride. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME read more

My experience with davids bridal was overall miserable. The employees tried to be helpful, but apparently corporate has different ideas. I made an appointment to find my wedding dress and was told over the phone that i should try not to come on a saturday because the person helping me would also be helping at least 3 others at the same time. Since I had my mother and bridesmaids coming from several different states, I was limited to saturday. I'm not sure of the point of making an appointment if you don't get 1 on 1 service, but I digress. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told "you only get 90 minutes with a sales person." My sales person sort of listened to what I wanted in a dress but then just brought me about 4 random dresses, two of which were not my style at all. I tried the first one on (that was not even close to the correct size) and looked around for my sales associate to clip it in the back so we could see how it looked but she was off helping some other poor bride-to-be. I stood around with my friends and family for a good 15 minutes in one dress until my mom just bunched the back of the dress so we could imagine how it would look if it actually fit. I tried on a few more dresses unsuccessfully and was ready for some new dresses. Again, my sale person was not to found so my sisters went to get some more dresses off the rack that were actually the kind of dress I was looking for. They were scolded and told not to take any dresses without the sales person. So basically in my allotted 90 minutes, I was only shown 6 dresses. Luckily my sisters looked at the dresses (with out touching them - god forbid) and found one that I fell in love with. I love-love-love my dress but the service was almost not worth it. Then came my fitting..... brought to a tiny section to change with another girl and her boyfriend hanging around right outside my curtain. The seamstress did some pinning but my mom and grandmother had to instruct her that the hem looked uneven, the top still looked too loose...etc. Then we got hit with the bill!! Two hundred and fifty f-ing dollars to make the dress fit me. The hem alone was $175. If my grandmother had not paid for the alterations for me, I would have done it myself. The seamstress did give me one helpful bit of info though, the original sales girl had sold me the wrong petticoat for my dress (a mermaid style but my dress wa a-line)! This meant another trip back to satan's bridal to exchange the petticoat, which of course cost more money that the incorrect one. The same kind of scenario occured when shopping for bridesmaid dresses, the only good thing was we were allowed to touch the merchandise so we could try on many more dresses. Do yourself a favor and go to a small boutique where you will get treated like a princess for your wedding....as it should be. I felt like cattle being rushed through so they could get the next wallet...I mean... customer in. read more

This is easily the most atrocious bridal store I've been to. DON'T EVER EVER EVER USE THIS STORE!! I would give it no stars if that were possible! Wal-Mart has better customer service than this bridal store. Myself and one other girl got our bridesmaid dresses from this store.......for our first appointment the place was busy and our sales clerk was much more preoccupied with admiring herself in the mirror then tending to us. We also went from having two dressing rooms for our four girls, condensed down to one because "they were busy and needed the room." When you have an appointment you don't expect to get treated that way. We were told the dresses ran small.......I asked for a girl to take my measurements and she told me "they didn't do that." I tried on a dress and actually found that they ran large, the complete opposite of the information she had provided. Also she told me you could not get that dress in extended length, also I found out that was not true when I got up to the counter. She disappeared shortly after that, and we then had to work with another clerk. I cannot stress enough how absolutely rude and uninterested their salespeople were. We were told it would take three months to get our bridesmaid dresses in, which is cutting it awfully close as the wedding is May 1st. The clerk called us yesterday and told us the dresses were in and that she would prefer it if we could pick it up immediately and before the weekend (apparently it's less busy during the weeknights - great for them, not so much for us as we have to ride an hour and a half to get there). We get there only to find horrible, and seemingly random stitching along the neckline/bodice area of two of the dresses we bought that were the same style. It literally looked like a 6 year old had stitched it, I've seen better work at dresses stitched in Indonesia @ Macy's. I couldn't believe that the clerks, knowing the distance we had to drive to get there, didn't notice this.......there were strands hanging off everywhere and pock marks from the poor stitching. In any case they were very non-chalant about the whole thing and told us to come back in 3 WEEKS and they would fix it. At that point I had to make it very clear that this was completely unacceptable as this should be a rather easy fix that even an amateur seamstress could have done in an hour or less and that we would be coming back in 1 WEEK to pick up the dresses. After we were guided to the back room where the seamstress was supposed to be, after standing around for an extended length of time and being ignored by multiple clerks eventually I got the attention of one seamstress who rudely waved me on to the next one. After I explained the situation and that we needed the dresses back in the week, she actually had the audacity to ask me what the rush was?!! Wow I could have sworn I was in a bridal shop WHAT DO YOU THINK THE RUSH IS?! Next she put more holes my dress by putting pins where the problem stitches were as I just stood there in total shock.....great, lets put some more holes in my dress, which will show up just lovely in this jersey material! I wondered if it was just our wedding party going through this but that clearly wasn't the case b/c behind me I heard a seamstress tell a bride that she pricked herself while trying to pin the brides dress and got some BLOOD on the dress and don't worry it comes out with peroxide!! (which stains btw) and as the bride complained that her dress was altered too short and she wanted it touching the floor (I could clearly see what she meant) the seamstress REFUSED and told her it was long enough, she didn't need it longer she'd be tripping on it. The customer is always right doesn't seem to jive with anyone in this store. Can't wait to go pick up my dress next time if there is one thing wrong I'm going to really lose my cool. read more

This was not the first time that I was treated poorly at this location. This time I went in and was asked if I had an appointment (was just looking for MOH dresses) I replied that I was told I didn't need to make one when I called to ask if I needed one. I was laughed at and told that it was extremely busy and "we would see if we could help you" I explained that I did not need a saleswoman I just needed a dressing room/ find sizes. Another woman came over to the desk and said "you absolutely can not try anything on today if you find anything" After walking around I found that there was a whole section of dressing rooms that were not being used and about 2 saleswoman helping brides. During my shop I asked another woman the whereabouts of a certain dress. Her only reply was (with a disgusted face) "that's new" okay.....I want to try it on. I ended up asking a nice woman who was not involved in any of this if I could use a dressing room for 5 minutes and she was so kind as to help me to the room and inform me of the saleswoman that was around to help if I needed anything. After I purchase this dress for my sisters wedding I will not be coming back. read more

I am very surprised by the negative reviews here. I got my wedding gown here back in February and my consultant, Marisa, was fabulous. Fast forward to the last 2 months with alterations and I cannot say enough positive things about Salwa! My dress was a bit complicated to hem due to the style, but she assured me she could take care of everything. Yes, I did end up having to wait both times I was there - they are very busy and take time with each appointment to make sure everything is perfect. Everyone always made me feel welcomed and reassured (even in crazy bridal stress moments). The manager on duty even went out of the way both times I was there (2 different managers) to make sure everything went well and I was happy. Such lovely people and were genuinely happy and excited for me. In all the stress I've had with a wedding, this was the absolute least stressful part of it. They truly all made me feel like family. read more

Worst store ever. I had my registration information misspelled and even after three times rebuilding the profile it was STILL misspelled. I had orders that were supposed to be shipped be marked for pickup instead. I was told false information about a set of dresses being ready within a few weeks when they really wouldn't be shipped until a week AFTER the wedding. I don't usually like to give a place a bad review, but it is really sad when the staff screws up every step of the way with bridal and bridesmaids' dresses and don't even care enough to fix it. I know working retail can be hard but I tried to be as polite and clear on how my name is spelled and where/what/when dresses should be shipped. Unlike the staff who talked back with an attitude and sighed every time they have to fix something. Like making me feel like I did something wrong. Once the wedding is over I plan to never buy anything from there again and will recommend other people to avoid that store as well. read more

Bought my wedding dress here in October and recently came in about a month ago for alterations. I was nervous coming into alterations as I had gained ten pounds and was worried my dress would be too small and after putting it on my dress wasn't clipping right in the back! I almost had a complete meltdown and after being almost in tears one of the alterations women Vicki came in to help me and calm me down. She helped me find the right support to have on as all the bras I was trying on we're actually squeezing me too much giving me awful back fat she fixed and adjusted everything and I ended up actually needing the dress taken in an inch on each side. She was extremely helpful and patient with me through the entire process listening to my every concern. I came in today for my final fitting and although I needed the back panel moved over slightly (which she did for me on the spot) my dress fit perfect ! I truly believe if Vicki wasn't there to help me out that my appointment would have gone in a completely different direction and thanks to her I can now feel beautiful on my wedding day! Thank you Vicki for all your help I recommend if anyone needs alterations on your dresses to go see her she's an angel! read more

Well...... My sales person Leah was wonderful! My dress was scheduled to come in 3 months before my wedding, it came in one week before! Every time I called to see if it was in I got some rude person treating me as if she couldn't be bothered. I went down on Saturday to get it altered which cost me another $200.00 with a pick up date 5 days before the wedding , went down on Monday night to get it keep in mind I live 2 hours away from the shop, only to find out the dress was put in the wrong pile and never altered........ I waited there 3 hours for them to alter it with the sales lady telling me I could look around while waiting maybe I would find a last minute thing to use for my wedding (Like I really wanted to buy anything there again!) Never once did anyone offer a drink or maybe even some sort of a refund on the alterations. The alterations you could tell were done in a rush and I just prayed my dress would make it through the day/night. Not Impressed, when you screw up at least offer some customer service to correct it. Would never advise anyone to get their dress here. They don't deserve any stars but they make you click one..... figures! read more

Okay, first off I just wanted to say that I had to come here for a prom dress. Lets start with the Pro's and Cons. Pro's being that the people were nice. That's it. A lot of pro's huh? Con's being that the place was so FRIGEN packed from bitchy bridezillas, to cranky whiney brats who used their Daddy's money. The service is really horrible too. I went there with my friend, and the employee's at the front desk asked us to write our names on a somewhat cute large heart shaped sticker to be called out for fitting. While waiting, me and my friend went to find prom dresses (in our budget that is). The dresses for prom/bridesmaids were so expensive the cheapest one that wasn't on clearance was $215.00 dollars. The only ones that were under $100.00 were on two racks with random sizes. I only picked out two (TO TRY ON) because that's how expensive they were. Then we went back to the front desk. It took not just a couple of minutes to be fitted, but we waited AN HOUR. YES AN HOUR SO I COULD GET FITTED INTO TWO DRESSES I DIDNT EVEN KNOW IF I LIKED. Such bullshit! Then a lady finally called my name in a rude manner, and I followed her while my friend was by my side. The lady was really big, and such a rude woman. The first time I came out with my first dress I picked out, while I was looking at my dress the lady who was suppose to be helping me with the fitting just laughed at me saying that the dress wouldn't exactly fit the pig. (she basically called me fat, even though I'm 110 lbs. yet she looked like a whale herself). I didn't say anything, being polite and all, and tried the next dress. My friend and I both were like "WTF why is she being such a see you next Tuesday?" of course I tried the last dress on. I went back out and she snickered once more. I then asked "What's your problem?" and she just looked away as if I wasn't even speaking to her. As fed up as I was, I took off the dress, threw it on the ground (WITH OUT the hanger mind you) and walked out in a pissed mood. NEVER going there again. If you do plan on going, just be prepared for snobby ladies, a long wait, and of course expensive pricing. read more

I went here as a bride and they were ok. I went here as a bridesmaid and it was a horrific experience. I made an appointment, which i'm not sure why they make them, as nobody can take you at that time. I waited 45 minutes for my appointment, which consisted of my person getting the dress in several sizes, which was fine, but then to get into the dress, I had to stand in the middle of the floor waving my hands to get someone to come over to zip me up. When my dress came in, I was never notified. I received a call today from the BRIDE telling me my dress was in and said they had called wondering why I haven't picked it up. Apparently, they told one of the other bridemaids I am in the wedding with (who I am not friends with) that my dress was in too, but never me. When I called to inquire, she said if they didn't have the correct information (which I went over with them when I bought the dress) and they couldn't get in touch with me (which they did when I was a bride as well, and nothing has changed), that they would tell the event coordinator. I said I still didn't understand why seemingly everyone but me was notified of my purchase arriving, and she said "like I said, same thing" pretty nasty (I prob didn't have a great tone then either because I was so annoyed). So after no apology or "we tried to reach you at this number/email, we apologize for this" like you would think customer service people would do, she just basically told me to go screw and that it's too bad someone else was notified (in other words of course). I said "OK, thank you" to end the conversation, and just heard a click at the other end, no acknoledgment of a goodbye, or "thank you for calling", or "we're sorry for the trouble", just a click. I have been to other David's bridal's but this one is horrible. If you want to have any bit of a pleasant experience shopping for a big day, go somewhere else. read more

i had set up an appointment here and was ignored for a solid 20 minutes standing at the desk. When she finally called my name if took me a minute or so to get back to the desk. i came the first time she called my name. so im standing at the desk and this girl who is waiting for me doesnt even register that im standing right in front of her and she says to another co worker " im getting real pissed off, ive called this girls name like 5 times" ....so i politely said "ummm im right here," then she plasters on this fake smile like ohhh haha there you are =) ..... ( but after hearing that attitude she had already lost my respect) So i do understand that this is a busy store and i was in on a Saturday, but when i show you a picture of what im looking for and you come back with 3 of the complete opposite of anything close to what i showed you and then disappear i got a little frustrated .... luckily i had brought my family with me to help me get into the dresses since my sales lady was nowhere to be found. i tried on a couple of the horrid choices she had selected. when i finally found her again i showed her a picture i had found on their website and i called a week prior to make sure they had the dress and they said yes....apparently that dress was discontinued and they hadnt had it for months????? she grabbed me a few more selections....( i was looking for a ball gown) she came back with a drop waist, a mermaid, and some clingy silky thing...i figured what the hell...but while trying to put the drop waist monstrosity on i ripped the dress because NO ONE WAS THERE TO HELP ME!!!!! so I left the store, went to a real bridal salon with caring staff and found my dress. I work as a hair stylist in very close proximity to the store ...so i talk to A LOT of women and anytime they say dress shopping i am sure to tell them of my horrid experience. read more

I went to David's Bridal and filed out a form with my info and my fiancé's name. They needed an email address so I put it on the form. I was told that they don't share it with other companies. That was a bold face lie. Got an email about a destination honeymoon. I asked the company where they got my email from. They said David's Bridal. When I was there it was sheer chaos. Christine was nice, but the old hag who insisted on knowing who my fiancé was with was very rude. She said well the groom isn't supposed to see your gown. I told her well I value his opinion more than yours so he is here. We both have been married before. Never in my life have I felt so ignored. We were never greeted at the door and were repeatedly walked past. Never once did anyone ask can I help you. I went and asked for help and got Christine. I have found my gown somewhere else as I refuse to ever walk through the doors of David's Bridal again. They need a serious lesson in customer service. I left there so discouraged and furious. I have to say that I am thoroughly disappointed in the Nashua David's bridal store. Had the worst experience looking for a wedding gown last night with my mom. First thing said to me when I arrived at 8:05 to my 8:00 appt was "just so you know we close at 9:00" after that we were assigned a bridal consultant who did no kind of consulting really at all aside from pulling a couple gowns for me she literally stood and just stared as MY MOM zipped me up in every dress, fluffed out the train behind me once coming out of the dressing room and then unzipped me to go onto the next.. Isn't that your job?! Not to mention the one time the consultant was in the dressing room door way to hand me a dress her response to a comment I made involved dropping the "F" bomb.. How unprofessional can you get!! I may be your last appointment of the night but you join the bridal industry for a reason!! Every bride in there should feel like they're the one and only!! No matter what time of day no matter what day of the week.. This is the perfect example of why I hate so much of the corporate world.. We're all just ants in the ant farm that no one gives a shit about. You have a very poor way of conducting business David's bridal and being in an industry that so many people put such an importance on and spend thousands of dollars on, you really should choose your employees better.. read more

My daughter made an appointment for her and her Bridesmaids. I am the mother of the bride and I can say I have never been so disappointed with the customer service or lack of customer service. This was suppose to be a wonderful day with family and friends that turned into tears. The associate never measured my daughter and kept bringing her sizes that were too small (hence the tears!) she told her she found a bunch of styles online and gave her the dress numbers, never bringing back one. We were stuffed in the corner with no chairs, both of her grandmothers were with her. The dressing room was barely big enough for her much less me trying to help her get them on. The associate offered NO assistance and had the nerve to remind us that we weren't suppose to pull dresses. If it wasn't for the bridesmaids pulling dresses and different styles we wouldn't have gotten anything. Not sure if the associates work on comission or not, if so the associate Kathleen V shouldn't have gotten anything! The Store Manager was no better, after we picked the dress we had to do a "ring the bell" service with the associate and store manager, she had a scowl and wasn't pleasant either, no smile, no "how was your service?" nothing! read more

The first day I walked into David's Bridal, I had no idea I was going to walk out with a wedding dress. As it turned out, I was able to find the perfect dress for me...until I went to pay for it and found out the dress I loved so much had been discontinued, and the only dress left was too small. Enter alterations guru and lifesaver, Vicki! Where do I begin?! Vicki worked with me to customize the dress I treasured so much and was able to take an ill-fitted dress and create a one-of-a-kind wedding dress that left me feeling like a princess. Not only did she work her magic, she was patient and appreciative of design suggestions offered by my family members (which can be super difficult to do sometimes). Together with the rest of her alterations team, the final result was done on time and reflected the hard work and creativity of Vicki and the David's Bridal team. I cannot say enough about the level of care and attention I received. Thank you so much for making this bride feel and look beautiful on her special day! read more
