Specialist Kristin was so nice and friendly when I visited on the hunt for a wedding guest dress! They had lots of beautiful dresses on sale! All staff were good spirits. Busy and we arrived shortly after they opened! The manager Amber was also very nice and took care of minor snags and. Spots on the dress I picked. Compared to other boutiques - their dressing rooms are tinier making it difficult to have a second person in there to help you change but our stylist Rosanna was amazing! Very disappointing experience. After discussing my budget with the sales person, she continued to pull dresses outside of my budget or unticketed dresses that I fell in love with but didn't know the price. I settled on a dress that was over budget. The dress I tried on was two sizes too big and the way the sales person clipped the dress misrepresented the structure of the gown. I was unable to find the dress on the online store to see how it was supposed to look so l had to rely on this sales person to properly represent the dress. When I called the store to cancel I was offered the option to have the dress altered to look like how it did when I was clipped in - costing more to an already overpriced, misrepresented and underwhelming dress. Despite the issues i was charged a restock fee. That's a small price to pay to buy a dress somewhere that doesn't misrepresent the product and deceive the buyer. read more

This is the most helpful and nicest David's Bridal I've been to and I've been to all of the locations in AZ! I had to exchange a dress I bought because I'll be about 5 months pregnant by the time of my sister's wedding and I was worried I wouldn't be able to exchange the dress because I bought it online. However, the manager Amber was SUPER helpful! She was nice and professional the entire time. She helped me find a new dress that was maternity friendly. While trying on dresses there were other staff that walked by to help me zip up my dress. I feel extremely grateful and happy I came to this David's Bridal! I FOUND THE ONE! I came in to my appointment today expecting to only look at wedding dresses, and not actually purchase one yet. Sherilyn was who helped me out today, she was great! They have so many beautiful dresses here in a good price range. Many dresses under $1500. I browsed the sales rack (which was very extensive!) and found a dress on sale for only $120. It fit me perfectly and was in near mint condition. One of the lace appliqués was coming off, and I was told that they can fix that for me here in the store. I ended up purchasing the dress, because you can't beat a deal like that! Sherilyn was very knowledgeable and taught both me and my mom about the different colors of dresses, veils, other bridal accessories, and more! I'll be coming back in later to get my dress altered. I started at David's Bridal on Talking Stick Way which is much smaller, nice selection but not as many sizes. The dressing area was some mirrors, a make shift curtain area and 2 chairs for my sister and friend. Thankfully we ended up In Ahwatukee where Renee was SO very helpful! It is obvious that she loves her job. She was great, super sweet and very attentive. So many dresses that I truly loved, it was difficult to decide on just one! This location was much bigger, nice dressing area with 3way mirrors on a raised platform and more suitable seating area if you take family or friends with you. After I found 'the one' a young girl named Shelby was super helpful to my best friend and helped her find a beautiful dress for herself! This young lady gave terrific customer service! My sister is a plus size, older bride to-be who is self conscious about trying on dresses. Kris saw that we were set up in the main platform area and she immediately knew to move us to a more private corner room away from the main area to make my sister feel more comfortable. Update : Maria called me and apologized for the previous encounter I had. Maria offered to order the new dress and have me bring back the damaged dress when the new one arrives so that there is less trips to make which is appreciated. Maria was very professional and apologized for it all Paid $150 for a BRAND new bridesmaid dress for it to look like this.... when I called and asked for the manager she did not once apologize for anything. I live very far from davids bridal so for me to drive back and forth for a mistake that is not mine is unethical. I'm so disappointed in the product and how the manager handled things. The manager did eventually offer to send me a return label AFTER I asked to speak with her boss. Needless to say I will not be recommending or using Davids bridal ever again. read more

***This should be a zero star review.*** Do not, I REPEAT, do not get your wedding dress or bridesmaids dresses alterations done at David's bridal. The alterations is a front, the woman that do the "alterations" don't alter your dresses. They send out of the state to get the dresses alter for you! It's a front and a scam to take money from you. I've had a horrible experience as a bridesmaid, as well as the bride herself. My mother (the bride) purchased all bridesmaids dresses, and has had her dress alterations her. The woman that did her dress overbook themselves, making her have TWO sessions for her dress. When I went in the first time, my dress was perfect to my body, until the "seamstress" broke my zipper; which by the way they mentioned the zippers on their dresses break all the time. They said they'll fix it for free, which they did. The second fitting, the dress was fine until I came back the following fitting. The back of where my zipper was, bumped in the back of my dress. The woman stated it was because of my body, possibly gaining weight... I asked for a hem on my dress, I went in this past Thursday to get my dress and try it on. The zipper was still jacked up, the dress not hemmed my dress at all! And then I looked at the back again and complained about the zipper... and told them, this is not "weight gain", that it's the stitching in the zipper... then the proceed to tell me they will fix it for free. I get a call from them on Friday, them telling me they won't fix it, unless I pay for it, and I need to be there. I called them and complained that this is something they need to fix. The girl on the phone, told me that she needs to talk to her manager. They had me on hold for 20 minutes, after I explained to the girl the first time. Then they tell me to come in on Saturday to get it fixed for free, then I expressed that the bride and I have had a horrible experience overall. I told them my concern is the flower girl dresses for Saturday, that we would be dealing with the same situation. They also admitted that they have horrible communication, from what I understand. I also mentioned to them I have plenty of photos of from when I got the dress, and with every fitting. Come Saturday, the day of the flower girl fitting, the bride gets a call that they need to cancel the 3 o'clock fitting because their "seamstress" went home sick. At that point I was overall fed up, my daughter was supposed to be there at 4 o'clock. When I got off work, I went straight over there and picked my dress up, and told them to cancel all appointments. We are going elsewhere. If you read tbh previous reviews about this place, they are 100% accurate. Not only have we spent SO much money with David's bridal, and it's "convenient" for some. Don't get your dress alterations done here. It's ridiculous and awful. I will be contacting corporate as well and I hope they see this review. And I will find a way to get my money back from their alterations, they messed up my dress, and no only other peoples dresses. I'm absolutely disappointed and disgusted by this place. read more

Overall, there was a wide variety to choose from, the store was clean/spacious to comfortably try on dresses (and feel safe given COVID), and there were plenty of mirrors. I also had a fantastic stylist (Madison) who really listened the details of what I liked/didn't like, helped me make small adjustments to try different looks, and used my feedback to grab more dresses that incrementally got closer and closer to THE one! I have mixed feelings about this one. I got my dress here and while they do have a big selection for every type of bride and bridesmaid, the service was okay depending on who you worked with. Sophia was my second seamstress and she was wonderful. But whoever did my alterations before was not great. When I got my dress it arrived quickly and I needed something's fixed like the length of my sleeves, bustle and the dress hemmed. The prices are very high for sub par work. Again Sophia was great she was able to fix what the previous lady screwed up. One of my bridesmaids needed a bustle for her dress (which was black) and they put CLEAR buttons on it and you could blatantly see them sticking out and they told her when she picked up her dress " well we only have those buttons sorry" and charged her an arm and a leg for it. read more

I have purchased bridesmaid dresses for 3 different weddings here and they've always had affordable and stylish options with stress free alterations on site. The seamstresses are always great to work with. I've never had a bad shopping or alteration experience. I finally write a review as this year, I went in with my mom's 1991 wedding dress (she designed it herself) for my own wedding this upcoming November and they treated it with such care and love, I'm truly grateful. Buyer be ware this company does not care about you or your big day. We were quoted one price and then it came out to almost triple after they add on all there little charges. They don't speak English very well so there is a huge communication problem especially when it comes to knowing what you are paying for. The fitting day is supposed to be a great fun experience but with my bride she came home crying and if was not because of my mom there to help pay for all the add on charges I don't think we would have been able to use the dress that we already paid for. This is not the way to treat a bride right before her big day. The minute you say you don't want one of there up sell items you are treat like you don't be long in there store. I can not speak for all locations but I would not go to this location if you can help it. read more

Krystal was WONDERFUL! Im a first time bride and came in with my tribe and I will say I have been very overwhelmed with all the planning. Krystal made this experience fun, easy and exciting! She knew what to pick for me and helped me get into all my dresses. I was able to pick the dress same day. I am VERY excited to get my dress and my girls into her for their fitting! If I could give zero stars, I would. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and attended a fitting here. I was 2 months postpartum and mentioned that during the appointment that my weight fluctuation should be in consideration because the wedding was months and months away. We went bridesmaid shopping very early. The woman helping with the fittings was not present, seemed very rushed and basically said not to mind that and that we will figure it out. They didn't have the actual dress that the bride wanted us to try on, so she gave me a dress that was "similar." It was a size 6 and too big but that was the smallest they had in store of that "similar" style dress. My usual size is 0-2. Being so newly postpartum, I was a 4. mentioned that and again, disregarded. She said it would be fine. She ordered me a 6...and in the style that the bride had actually chosen, which we did not get to try on in store, the dress was HUGE on me. Like truly huge. I went into the store with the dress and was met with a rude lady (forgot her name, older lady) that seemed so disgusted at me for just being there. She snootily asked me for the receipt and I said, "can you not look it up in your system?" "My email is associated with the purchase and the brides name is there as well. I also have my card used to purchase." She literally rolled her eyes and looked it up. I told her what had happened, and she said," well if we order another one today in a different size, it wouldn't get here until 2 months before the wedding so I'm not comfortable doing that" ..... like ????? Why would she not be comfortable doing that? She grabbed her tailor/seamstress and said that I can talk to her. She had me put on the dress that was huge and basically said that I'd have to pay $200 to get it altered. THATS MORE THAN THE DRESS ITSELF. When I was changing back into my clothes and out of the dress (the fitting rooms are up against their back room area), I heard the seamstress and rude lady talking about this group that came shopping there earlier that were all so fat and laughing about it. I cannot believe how truly horrible these people are. I called a different David's bridal, the one In Scottsdale, and they were beyond sweet and nice and considerate. I came in, they easily and swiftly took back the dress and ordered me the right size. They were absolutely wonderful and great to talk to. 10/10 David's bridal at this location was the worst and most disrespectful place I've encountered and I professionally model wedding dresses and work with bridal shops all the time... I'm telling you, this place is horrendous! I let it go previously, as this happened a year ago, but I found the dress in my closet today and I felt like it was only fair to warn others of these people. read more
