Went here for my sister after trying to talk her out of it. Didnt have good experience with the sales girls when I got married. She too had to learn the hard way. The second time we went in she wanted to just relook at the dress she might get and they caused us a problem with that just cause we didnt have an appointment. Finally got someone to help us and give us our info. Couple days later we went to the other store with an appointment and all of a sudden my sisters info was deleted out of the system. She had to start over. Eventually on another day she found a dress that I think she settled for telling her she could add straps. Dress came in and she wanted to try it so on phone girl made appointment with tailor but alterations lady got mad we made an appointment not to be ready to do anything to the dress. Now she is just settling with what she has. I also have tried on dresses and picked her bridesmaid dress, but when I went back in to pick the final dress that information as well had not been entered in the system. So not looking forward to having to buy a dress with this company. read more

So I guess I never realized all the "rules" David's Bridal has, or maybe it's just this particular store because I've been in several David's Bridals throughout the U.S. and have not had the issues I had with this store. My daughter is getting married and is planning a very small ceremony with only 90 days to plan. She wanted to wear a gown, so after seeing several David's Bridal commercials telling us they were having a sale on the weekend and to "go to your nearest David's Bridal store," my daughter and I decided to go. When we first walked in, we got our first scolding, "did you make an appointment?" Of course we hadn't because the commercial said come on down, so we were told, "well we are very busy with scheduled appointments so we don't have a stylist for you, you can come back during the week." I said, "no I can't, I'm from another state and I'm here visiting my daughter." Then we were told, " well you can look around but we may not have anyone to help you." I could see my daughter was really wanting to browse with me, so I stayed. As we began to look at the dresses, someone rushed across the store hollering, "don't touch the dresses!" I was really feeling irritated and said, "how in the hell are we supposed to look at that them?" We were told, "let us know which ones you want to look at and we'll hang them for you if someone is available." My daughter found a dress right away that she loved and wanted to try on and we were again told, "we are very busy and there isn't a stylist to help you." Once again irritated, I said, "geez! Can't she just try it on?" One of the employees rushed over and said, "sure, I'll open a dressing room." My daughter tried the dress on and she was beautiful in it. We purchased the dress and were able to take advantage of the sale price. I bought the dress because my daughter was beautiful and she loved it. I did not buy the dress because any one was helpful or accommodating at this establishment. I'm giving them 2 stars because my daughter is happy but I don't really feel they deserve any. They are not customer centric although they had no problem taking my money. read more

This Davids Bridal store has A LOT of work to do. First, I went in on a Saturday afternoon at my appointment time for bridesmaids dresses. They did not have enough consultants, so I did not mind waiting. When they finally did find us a consultant, we had to walk back to the fitting rooms to meet her because she did not come to the front like she was suppose to. Once we got there, she looked at us like we were crazy for just walking back there and asked us if we needed a room. Granted, she was working with another bridal party, but knowing that she was double booked and that we still needed service, I would've thought that she would have been able to help us. I, the bride, had to go get belts, other sizes and basically do everything that she was suppose to be doing. When we found a dress and got the girls fitted, she measured and recorded their sizes on a random piece of paper. I asked her several times if she was going to enter the sizes under my order. She assured me should would. Turns out, she never entered them. The manager of the store couldn't even find any paper work of mine showing that I was at the store and had an appointment!!! And when I called the store to see about entering the sizes initially, I was placed on hold for almost 10 minutes each time I called!! Basically, this place needs to hire more professional consultants. They also need to work on customer service. I would not recommend going here. read more

This store's personnel need to rethink what customer service means. We had an appointment yesterday afternoon. We got there, filled out the paperwork and were told someone would be with us soon. We walked around for 30 minutes looking at dresses waiting for our consultant. When we inquired about when someone would be available, we were told we were "next". Ten minutes later another party comes in and is helped immediately. When I asked the woman working the front desk about this she said we were the next "new bride" to be seen. She then said that the consultant that was supposed to help us just got hurt in the backroom and that they were "trying to fit us into someone else's schedule." No apology for our wait. If I hadn't asked when we might be seen who knows how long we would have been made to wait. I guess the only purpose of appointments is so that someone actually sees you that day, regardless of the time of the appointment. They should have told us they were running behind when we arrived, they should have found us as soon as they realized we weren't going to be helped in a timely manner. They should have apologized. Don't waste your time going to David's Bridal! read more

Yeah don't go here. I am 100% positive your business would be appreciated anywhere else besides David's Bridal. The salesperson my Fiance had, lied to other customers to save face for her own mismanagement of time. This salesperson was rude, curt, and inappropriate. When asked to speak to the manager, we were told that she was busy, and if we wrote down our information they would get back to us. That was two weeks ago and I'm sure our information went from the paper pad to the trash. In short, it was painfully obvious that our salesperson, nor any other employee in the store gave a damn about helping us. They lied to other customers within earshot of us, and was a huge waste of time going through the process of just being able to look at dresses. For something as special as a wedding day, you should go somewhere where you know you'll be appreciated for your patronage. read more

The staff here FAILS TO WARN YOU about VERY LONG wait times. Granted, I came in as a walk-in because I only needed to try on one bridesmaid dress, which literally would have taken me 5 minutes, given that the bride had already picked out the dress and I knew my size. I was told to browse the dresses and a stylist would come get me. I waited...and waited...and waited, in plain sight, thinking they couldn't have forgotten me, and THEN, after 50 minutes, finally asked how much longer it would be. ONLY THEN did I find out they were severely understaffed and 45 minutes behind on appointments, meaning that they were never going to get to me. Really? Hello? Why didn't you tell me that in the first place? It's common courtesy to tell me there's a long wait and save me an hour of my time. Ridiculous. read more

I was fully anticipating not finding a dress and having a miserable time. In fact I already had a dress but I was trying them on just so my mom could have the sort of typical wedding dress experience with me. It took a few minutes to get some help but Storey, who helped me, was perfect. The first dress she had me try on was the one. She clearly listened to what I wanted and could tell what type of person I was, what my style was and anticipate my needs. Just wanted to say "thank you" to Storey, who helped me find my wedding dress today! I would highly recommend getting an early appointment on a weekday - at 11AM on a Friday, my group (my mother and me) was the only bridal appointment in the store for the duration of our time there (two hours!) Storey didn't rush us, repeatedly vanished into the stacks to appear with 3-4 more gowns, and helped me in and out of gowns with a smile and easy conversation. She kept my under $1K budget in mind and 10 dresses later, we found the perfect one that was waaay less expensive than that. I haven't been to a "high end" bridal salon, but I did try BHLDN by Anthropologie and I'd recommend my experience with David's over that in a heartbeat. Every dress I tried on was better made and less expensive, and there was a much bigger selection in an airy, open space instead of cramped and dark. Take half a day off of work and go early on a weekday. Ask for Storey because she's lovely. read more

I had my second appointment at this location on a weekday evening. For the best experience, I would recommend coming on a weekday or weekday evening, when it is slow. My first appointment was on a Saturday and my second was a weekday evening, with very different experiences. This will make a world of difference. I went in knowing (or thinking I knew) exactly what kind of dress I wanted. I had found a dress that I thought I loved at my first appointment, but it was well out of my price range. I wrote down the style numbers of all the ones I liked and my price range.Unfortunately, they did not have any of those dresses in the store (most were discontinued) but my consultant Hope brought me a few similar options and they were in my price range. I honestly wasn't too optimistic before I started trying on the options. I tried on one and I really really liked it. I thought it was the one. Hope had brought me a plain satin dress that didn't look very special on the hanger, but I tried it on anyway because I thought it was pretty and I liked the price. Well, surprise, the dress was amazing!! Hope brought me some belts to try and accessorized me all out. I LOVED my experience and I walked out of there after ordering a gorgeous dress in my price range. I would have never picked that one off the rack myself. My recommendation is to make an appointment on a weekday or weekday evening when it's less busy for a great experience. My daughter made an appointment to look at bridal gowns,and her bridesmaids, myself, and the grooms mother were all in attendance. Cindy did her best to please my daughter. She was very friendly, and informative. Once we finally got to the right dress,it was all very easy! She helped my daughter choose a headdress, and helped us work out payment arrangements. Her knowledge of the reception location, and the church made the conversation flow. Cindy was great with my daughter, and spent time talking with me as well. Talking price range, and limits. My experience purchasing a bridesmaids dress was very pleasant, and I was lucky enough to find what I was looking for at the store. However, DO NOT get your alterations done here!! They overcharge like crazy! I was tempted to walk out when they told me the total, but the pins were already in place so I decided to bite the bullet. On top of that, they rush you through the whole process with no regards to customer service, and they only have appointments available 4-6 weeks away from the day you call. I gave myself plenty of time before the wedding, but that seems a little extreme. This place is great for shopping, but I just want to save someone from having the same experience with the alterations department that I had. read more

I truly wish I had gone somewhere else. My salesperson told me in April that I really should not wait any longer to order my dress because I was already cutting it close for a November wedding. The dress came in within 2 weeks and I have had to find a place to store it ever since. Also, I needed to exchange somethig for a different size and was told by one salesperson that I needed my receipt. I asked someone else and she said no problem...we have all your info in the system. Choosing to order my bridesmaid dresses from David's Bridal has turned into a giant headache. I initially went there to try on my dress and was told I couldn't look at the options, Cindy asked me a bunch of questions and then pulled dresses based on what SHE thought I should wear. I wasted about 3 hours and only tried on 2 and surprise surprise I purchased a dress elsewhere that I was able to choose for myself. The whole time she was going on and on touting her other bridal services basically which have nothing to do with David's. Fast forward to the bridesmaid dresses. I went in and worked with a lovely lady named Katie who actually LISTENED and pulled dresses based off my preference. My MOH tried on several options and we chose 3 that were added to my file in the system that my other bridesmaids could choose from in the color "petal" which I was told is David's version of blush. My other girls went in separately and every single one who dealt with Cindy had issues. Too busy trying to play expert know it all to take 30 seconds to look at the file and the dresses and color I had ALREADY CHOSE. Icing on the cake is that she told my best friend that she "looked very pale". Let me guess, Cindy does spray tanning too! Huge huge and unnecessary stress. read more

I want to give a special shout out and much deserved recognition to my David's Bridal Consultant, Cyndi Lane. She was truly a BLESSING sent to me from above! I arrived 15 minutes late to my appointment on a Sunday, which was not by choice, my family was my ride and they were late lol, but the place was packed with a line out the door. However, Cyndi still greeted me with a big smile, soft hand shake, and got down to business of finding me a wedding dress. I was literally shaking and beyond nervous to find a dress. I didn't eat or sleep the night before. When I was talking to Cyndi she could tell that I was a nervous wreck and she quickly focused on calming me down. She told me that I was in good hands, not too worry, and that she would be my fairy godmother! So, I showed her a few pictures of dresses I had in mind, and she immediately said she knew exactly what I was looking for, and darted off on the hunt to find the perfect dress for me. She came back with 4 dresses, and the first one I tried on was the dress of my dreams! I mean Cyndi NAILED it!! I couldn't have dreamt of a more perfect dress. It was as if the heavens opened up and gave me her! Also, what I loved about Cyndi was that she didn't try to oversell me on items I didn't need. She found the most beautiful head band, and even took her time and put my hair up in a cute up-do!! Talk about customer service, and going above and beyond! Cyndi truly ended up being my fairy godmother. She is an angel from above. Cyndi is probably the kindest person I've ever met too, and made the entire experience one of the happiest moments of my life. I am so thankful for Cyndi's help. I was nervous going in because I've heard many people say that David's Bridal is not so nice to their customers, but I was blown away by Alex, my "bridal fairy." She listened to my thoughts on style and she find me the dress! But more than finding the dress, she was the sweetest, most encouraging and sincere salesperson I've ever worked with. I am writing this as a former (emphasis on FORMER) employee. First, let me start off with an apology to any of the customers who have come in and received sub-par service from us. It is a mess there entirely. I had zero customer service experience, and they were more than enthused to hire me (should have been a red flag from that). There is ALWAYS a "Now Hiring" sign on the front door, because there are always people quitting. None of our consultants want to treat the customers poorly. We simply are never, EVER taught how to treat someone properly. The entire management needs to be retooled and reconstructed from the ground up. Very few of the employees know what they're talking about half of the time and are essentially trying to trick you into spending your money there. The training basically consists of learning each other's names, walking around the store for a bit, and getting very basic register training (which usually doesn't help you with what you'll actually do). Not to mention some very stupid role-playing activities which showcase experiences that I, nor any of my former co-workers, have ever experience. David's Bridal is so completely out of touch with how to actually treat customers and what people truly are looking for when they come in. They are constantly overbooked and understaffed, leading to brides not getting the attention they need and deserve and no one leaving happy. Very rarely a bride will actually have a consultant who cares about them and is competent enough to take care of them. These brides DO leave happily, but not for long. Warning to customers: PLEASE make an appointment before coming in or you will almost positively not get service. I don't know why it is not advertised better to make an appointment, but you do need to especially between January and March. EVEN IF IT IS JUST ONE BRIDESMAID. Make an appointment. Went and picked out two bridesmaid dresses today for two different weddings. The group of four of us that went in are all very different people with very different tastes and opinions. Kate and Asia helped us out and they were GREAT! They appreciated our inappropriate humor, didn't complain or make us feel bad for trying on a million dresses in a million sizes and were friendly and helpful. I went into David's Bridal to look for a wedding gown - going in I wasn't terribly sure what I wanted, just super vague ideas. Regina was assigned as my consultant and I am so terribly thankful for her! We took a few minutes to look over the styles that I had pinned online, in preparation for my appointment, and discussed what silhouettes I preferred. Regina pulled three dresses to start and we didn't have to look beyond those first pulls. The first dress she put me in was great but not quite right for me, the second dress was one that I had pinned but it was not a good look, but the third one was THE dress!! Before I had even had a chance to look in the mirror, others in the store were saying it was the dress. They were right! Thanks Regina! I really feel bad that many people do not have a great experience at David's Bridal. I know how important it is that this time feel special and comfortable. I was shopping for a dress in Houston and had mixed experiences at bridal salons. Some consultants were great while others left a horrible taste in my mouth. I even went to a David's Bridal in Houston and had a HORRENDOUS experience. So bad that I told myself I'd never go into another David's Bridal. Eventually, I gave up on looking for a dress in a bridal salon and was close to ordering a simple white maxi dress. But I needed my measurements for the dress and my soon to be aunt wanted to go dress shopping with me at David's Bridal. I thought I could kill two birds with stone, get the measurements for the dress I had settled on and please my aunt. I never expected to find the dress. My stylist Sherie was amazing. Unlike stylist in the past, she made my size 14 feel normal. She complimented my curves and never tried to squeeze me into samples that were too small. She really listened to what I wanted and ended up pulling my dress right away. The very first dress I tried on took my breath away and made me cry. Thank you Sherie for being kind, patient, and professional. She never pretended to be my best friend like my stylists who kept calling me honey and sweetie and baby. She remained professional but still warm and kind and treated all of my guests shopping with me with respect. Honestly, I never thought I'd give a 5 star review for David's Bridal but this location gave me an amazing experience and I am very very grateful. Thank you. read more

I was super nervous and didn't know what to expect. The amount of disappointment I left with considering I found my dress is awful! The customer service is a complete and utter JOKE! The stylist abandoned me regularly throughout my scheduled appointment. After I had decided on a dress I had questions and she was nowhere to be found. Of course my mother was already at the register paying so I guess since the dress was "sold" she was officially done with me! She offered to take a picture of me with my mom and fiancé mom but she left and never came back. I was so frustrated with her that I forgot to schedule my fitting and alterations appt (which I feel she should have reminded me to do as good customer service and since I've never bought a wedding dress so how would I know this!). When I called to make my alterations appt the girl on the phone sounded like she had no clue what she was doing. I'd tell her what day I wanted....long pause and I'd have to ask if she's still there. She'd say oh yea. Then I'd be to ask if she was going to give me available times. When I asked for available days, she told me they prefer mondays and tuesdays. I don't care what you prefer, what is your availability. I live at least an hour away and work during the week. After going on Facebook to vent about the crappy customer service both times, I'm getting horror stories from lots of Facebook friends and now I'm terrified to even let them do my alterations! read more

I bought my wedding dress, shoes, and bridesmaid's dressed here at David's Bridal. All in one day. Somehow, I survived and left in a great mood. The consultant I had was AMAZING! Of course, she left shortly after, so that is not helpful to you all. I called months in advance to make my appointment because I had to fit in myself and six girls to try on bridesmaid's dresses. I warned them of this, but they still refused to give us our own consultant. They always make you share a consultant with at least one other party if you go on Saturdays. We got lucky and had one to ourselves. I HIGHLY recommend going during the week if you can. This place is a madhouse on Saturdays. If you must go Saturday, the later the better. The volume seems to decrease dramatically after 3pm. The benefit of going to a cheapo chain like DB is you can try on several dresses in many styles, no matter what size you are. I am a large and in charge type of woman and managed to feel beautiful in several options. And both my dress and shoes were on sale! As a bonus, you can get your shoes dyed for $2 in any color. The only downfall other than the crowd is they definitely sneak in extra charges (this is David Bridal's doing, not this particular location). You have to pay for a bag to take your dress home in, to add a bussel, and anything else you can imagine. Speaking of alterations, Virgie is the best. She was very helpful and sweet- felt like a favorite aunt helping me bussel my dress, rather than some complete stranger. When I went back for my second fitting after alterations, they allowed me to take up lots of space and even helped me pick out jewelry. Overall, a good experience, but not fabulous due to crowding and some slight rushing. Oh, and you can buy swatches of fabric for $1. I highly recommend you get a few to match your bridesmaid's dresses because everyone and their mom seems to need one (bakery, florist, etc). read more

I recently visited the Sunset Hills David's Bridal and Hope Kennon was my bridal consultant. This was my first day of trying on wedding dresses and she made it feel special. She not only listened to my price range and stayed within my limits, she showed me dresses of exactly the styles I wanted to try without pushing her own opinions onto me. She was personable, caring, and extremely component at her job. She had a way of accenting the dresses with personal touches of accessories that I did not even know I wanted. When I return, I will make an appointment with only her and will recommend her to anyone looking! Thank you Hope!! read more

Had an appointment for this past Saturday and even though I had an appointment for my 5 bridesmaids to try on dresses, we were given only 2 tiny dressing rooms with no space to walk out or to get a good look in the mirror at the dresses, the lady helping kept walking away and would take us forever to find her again. The gowns were very over priced and for both bride and bridesmaid they had very slim choices and none of them were good in my opinion. Long story short, wast of time and effort! read more

I am giving David's Bridal NEGATIVE STARS!!! ***Let me just say I work in retail and get commission, so I know what it's like working in this type of position*** I had scheduled an appointment for 11 a.m. on a Wednesday morning thinking it would not be busy at the beginning of the day. It wasn't. When I got there with my future Mother-In-Law and one of my bridesmaids, I had to wait 20 minutes just to check in at the "front desk". I was told we could go around and look at the dresses and someone will be with me shortly. I had saved some dresses to my Favorites on their website to make today go by quicker because I figured each appointment only lasts about an hour. After another 10 minutes, I had one woman greet me and pull me over to an area to take my measurements. I had to wait another 10 minutes to get into a fitting room because they had another bride in a room needing a bra and slip. They weren't busy! I was handed off to another assistant. Ok, no big deal, I guess. I was asked about the David's Bridal Credit Card multiple times, even though I explained I wasn't going to buy today because my family lives in another part of the country and I needed to make a decision with my mom. She didn't like that answer and asked me what if I found the dress I absolutely loved and had to have it today. This was my first time out looking around and I had no idea what was going to look good on me, but whether I purchase or not should not be the deciding factor on what degree of customer service I receive, correct?? The second dress I tried on, I didn't particularly like. The vanishing assistant passed by and said "let me get you a veil and jack you up". I said NO, because until I find a dress I could see myself wearing down the aisle I didn't want to go that far. She did not like my answer. She looked like I almost struck her in the face - like no other bride doesn't want to put on a veil yet? Shocker! I was basically left in the fitting room by myself (which is a VERY small room) and only had an assistant come by every 15 minutes to switch me out of a dress. MEANWHILE, the OTHER 2 BRIDES ON EITHER SIDE OF ME had an assistant there the whole time and they were going through dresses left and right!!! After an HOUR AND A HALF I looked at my mother-in-law and she helped me in and out of the other few dresses they pulled. Remember, they were not busy in the least! And all of those dresses I had saved to My Favorites to try on? They pulled only ONE dress. They had all the other ones I had asked to try on, but didn't even take the time to show me any of them except one that wasn't on sale. I tried on a Vera Wang ballgown that I actually liked. The disappearing assistant (who I think was in charge) appeared and offered to get me a sash to dress up the dress. She never came back. Turns out she was in the next fitting room helping another bride along with a second assistant get into a dress. I had a different assistant completely who was walking by mention I should try the dress with a beaded sash and got me one in less than a minute!! The assistant in charge didn't even notice i had a sash on and was like "oh all I need is to get you that sash". YOU COULD HAVE RETRIEVED IT FOR ME BEFORE YOU SPENT 20 MINUTES WITH THE OTHER BRIDE---- I'M A BRIDE WITH MONEY TOO YA KNOW!!!!!! This location boasts on being a "test" store, so they have a larger supply of dress inventory than other ones. I got dressed and my bridesmaid and I went to find all the other dresses I had wanted to try on because I was not important enough for the David's Bridal staff to acknowledge my presence. DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU!!! I thought I was smart coming on on a weekday and making an appointment. NOT TRUE. DON'T LET THEM TELL YOU ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING THE BRIDE FEEL SPECIAL BY HELPING YOU PICK OUT YOUR DRESS AND BEING A PART OF THAT MEMORY. IT'S A LIE!!! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE CASH!! IT TRULY IS A SHAME because I found a few beautiful dresses I could see having my bridesmaids and myself wearing. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! IF YOU WANT TO BE EMBARRASSED BY THE STAFF IN FRONT OF YOUR FAMILY AND BRIDAL PARTY AND HAVE TO DO IT ALL YOURSELF, then this store is for you. If I had found a dress that day, and I could choose who the commission went to, it would go to my Mother-In-Law. She was the most help!! I have already received a phone call from the assistant in charge asking me for a follow up appointment. She thought I had a wonderful day! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! I FULLY recommend CLARICE'S BRIDAL. I never thought I'd buy my wedding dress from DB but they really are some of the only stores that I have found that offer dresses for an affordable price. I worked with Jessy, who was wonderful and was extremely patient with me through the process. She was never pushy and acted like she just wanted the sale. It was nice to have the app downloaded and my 'favorites' and had it ready to go when I walked in the door. They were extremely accommodating by the fact that I am living in a different state and wanted the dress sent to there. I went back and tried on the dress again before I bought it... glad I did. I ended up working with the store manager (Brandy) who was amazing and very patient especially due to the fact we didn't have an appointment! (Jessy was still the bomb.com). Brandy then hooked us up on some bridesmaid dresses and other accessories. I'm still surprised to get something from DB but really was able to get EVERYTHING including shoes, accessories, under skirts etc on budget!! If you want an enjoyable experience I suggest going somewhere else, like Clarice's (AMAZING!). The customer service here is terrible...as is there ability to time things. Apparently, here a wait of 15-20 minutes actually means 2 hours and 20 minutes. I am pretty embarrassed that my group and I even waited around that long. We probably would not have but the one nice, attentive employee they had snuck us a few dressing rooms. My bridesmaids found dresses that were okay but after receiving no attention I just could not stomach the idea of giving them money so my 8 bridesmaids and I walked out. I am the bride of the group. I made an appointment a few months in advance. I was visiting my family for Christmas and it was easier to have us all together. When I arrived, the girls at the entry were nice. I arrived at 11:30 am, my appointment was at 12pm. Since it was not time we decided to look at the mother's dresses and bridemaids dresses. I had researched my dress on the Davids Bridal site, so I knew what I was initially interested in. At 12:04 Michelle approached us to start my appointment. She had a handful of dresses for another bride and told me right off the bat " we are short staffed and I have three other brides". I felt unwelcome, disrepected, and flat out pissed off. Here I am, planning the best day of my life, and this chick thinks it it my problem that she is short staffed. There were plenty of people walking around that could help out! So, we made it to my room and I showed her the dress that I wanted to try on. Lucky for me, I got there early and looked around. Since she was so busy, I went back out onto the floor and picked my own bridesmaid and junior bridesmaid dresses and had the girls try them on. I tried on two wedding dresses, the second one I bought and loved. Thankfully Emma was there helping us. She showed up later in the appointment and was the best! Our appointments were for 12 and 1:30, we were done at 1:30. I didnt even need that chick. She was full of bad energy anyway! We shopped on our own! I have found that Davids Bridal is good if you have people scattered throughout the US and you need a national chain so that everyone can go in and try it on. I ordered my bridesmaid dress on December 10, 2012. I was told it would arrive the beginning of March. The first week of March went by and I hadn't heard anything, so I called the store. After numerous attempts for someone to answer, Heather answered the phone. Turns out my dress is on back order and no one bothered to share this information when I purchased the dress or even email or call. The dress won't arrive until the middle of May - the wedding is the first Saturday in June!!! My favorite excuse was that "This has never happened before and you are definitely first in line for this dress style." If I am first in line, why does it take 12 more weeks? Never shop at David's Bridal unless you order a dress 3 years in advance!! read more

This David's Bridal location was fantastic to work with. I had bought another dress previously, at a different bridal shop, but then I saw a dress on their website in the new arrivals section. My sister convinced me to go in to David's Bridal to try it on, and it was everything I wanted. The staff there was extremely helpful, considering how nervous I was. They were not pushy, and didn't seem like they were trying to make a sale. Even though it's a large store, I felt like my needs were met and that I was payed attention to. As a bonus, the alterations department is fantastic--both in their service and quality of the alterations performed! read more

I came here a couple months ago looking for a wedding dress. Didn't really care for their selection or service. So, I went elsewhere to find the perfect dress. I decided to try again this weekend for bridesmaids dress. I made an appointment for a Saturday. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early with my bridesmaid with me. We were told to look through dresses and a consultant would be with us at our appointment time. We did that and picked out dresses, 30 minutes after our scheduled time, I had to go ask the front desk where our consultant was and we were told she would be right with us. 5 minutes later, we meet our consultant who takes us to a dressing room, measures my bridesmaid and says she will be right back. 70 minutes later, we had tried on 10 dresses, I sifted through the racks for different dresses and sizes and helped her try on the dresses and we NEVER saw our consultant the entire time. As we were leaving, I asked to speak to the manager which was, Laura (super short red haired woman). Horrible manager skills as she wasn't apologetic and informed me that they were "short staffed" (not my problem) and she didn't even offer to answer the questions i did have about ordering a dress and she didn't even try to make a sale. (Davids Bridal---this is your business she is doing that to). So, we left and went to support a local bridal shop and received excellent service for both my bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses. Let me preface this by saying, I have never written a review. But the horrible customer service I received while looking for a wedding dress at David's Bridal was unbelievable. I realize I went on a Saturday & it was busy. But is that any justification for my friend helping me in more wedding dresses than the consultant? NO! We had asked the consultant, Heather for a specific dress, 20 minutes later my friend went to go look for her and she was at the cash register! No explanation, nothing. Needless to say, I left without buying anything. To top it off, Heather has called 3 times in the past week asking me to schedule a "come back" appt! Talk about oblivious! I found a beautiful dress at Clarice' s where they know the meaning of customer service. read more

One of the bridesmaids for my daughter's wedding was sent to this location when the St Peters store did not have dress to try on. This dress was supposedly discontinued and she was basically forced to purchase the stained, wrinkled sample (for full price!) or she would not have same dress as others. Too bad this was NOT TRUE!! Dress was, in fact, available from Davids Bridal online, and was NEW AND CLEAN! Now fighting with store to be able to return dirty sample. This is a horrible way to do business. read more
