We browsed around the store anyway and I was very impressed by the concept. Many people come in here for foot support. You tell staff what foot issues you are having, and they will figure out solutions on why your foot is having the issues, find you a shoe and or insert to help your gait. They have an area where you can walk to test out the feel I'm guessing before you make your purchase. They have men and women shoes, sandals, socks, accessories and apparel. Brand shoes like Brooks and Hoka are available as well. I also saw a side room with treadmills and other work out sections as well. Staff was friendly and appeared to be knowledgeable. Check them out !

Danny helped us with the fitting process. He was so kind and helpful. He went over the fitting information thoroughly after the scan. He also offered my partner to try a couple pairs of shoes they have in stock. Unfortunately, I was not sold on either of them. I ended up purchasing Feetures socks here since they are having promotion "buy 4 get 5th pair free". The store is very clean and nice arrangement. They carry variety of brands like Hoka, Brooks, On, etc. Overall, I was very pleased with their customer service. I definitely recommend Fleet Feet! It's super valuable to get your feet scanned, and staff here are very knowledgeable about what shoes will fit your feet's profile/gait best.

If a Marshall's and a thrift store married, Gabe's might be their offspring. All merchandise is new…read morehere but it's haphazardly organized with sometimes very limited availability of sizes, styles, or quantities. Gabe's is massive with a slight warehouse feel. When I walked in, the far corner seemed a shuttle ride away. Patience is necessary at Gabe's. For example, despite row after row after row of shelves of mens shoes I never found a pair in my size where they were supposed to be. Different sizes were all over the place. Also, some styles I liked I couldn't find in my size. Still, there were some impressive premium brand names like The North Face and Red Wing. They sat alongside shoes made of all synthetic materials and clearly intended for "value price" retailers. The mens clothing section provided a similar experience. Racks were so jam-packed with items it was difficult to browse them. A quick circuit of the store disclosed household, pet, and pantry items; toys; foods and pantry stuff, kitchen wares; garden products; and other things that seemed to be clearance, close-out, or overstock inventory. I'll be back to see what treasures I missed.

The feel inside is that of goodwill where it's musty but the clothes have multiple sizes so you know they weren't donated. Looked like a dumping ground for clothes that wouldn't sell at their respective brand stores or tj maxx. The deals are insane but it was hard to shop because the signage would say sizes XS-S but then sifting through the clothes they hard larges and mediums mixed in in the pants, coats, t shirt, dress shirts... every section. With a little cleaning and organization I think it would be more welcoming to shop. This place replaced Gordman's and it's unfortunate because that place was much much better in every category.

Unfortunately they don't price match with everyone, only a certain list of store. I ended up buying the shoes online at Journey's because it was cheaper. With that being said, this store was much better than I expected. Very clean and organized. Nice variety of shoes for everyone in the family. Prices weren't bad but in my situation, I found a better deal elsewhere. Customer service was great. The guy was nice and very helpful. I'd come back again.

Subject: Poor Customer Service Experience - Shoe Carnival Bridgeton (#0618)…read more To whom it may concern, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the customer service I received today at the Bridgeton Shoe Carnival location (#0618). Since I was already in the area, I decided to stop in after receiving a "BOGO" promotional text earlier in the day. I had recently purchased a pair of shoes on Tuesday for my daughter, who works 12-hour NICU shifts in Dallas, and thought this would be a good opportunity to take advantage of the promotion for an additional pair. I had the shoes and receipt in my vehicle and brought both in with me. Upon entering, I received minimal acknowledgment from the two cashiers at the counter--one of whom identified herself as a manager. I explained that I wanted to utilize the BOGO promotion with my previous purchase. After reviewing my receipt, the manager stated that because my purchase was made on Tuesday and the sale "started on Thursday," I could not apply the promotion. I asked for clarification, as the explanation didn't logically connect to the policy. When I suggested simply returning the shoes and repurchasing them in the same transaction to legitimately qualify for the BOGO--a standard practice in retail--I was told this would be "like stealing." That statement was inaccurate, unprofessional, and frankly, insulting. I asked again about processing a return and repurchase, and was instead told that I could return the shoes, but would need to drive 15-20 minutes to the St. Charles location to buy them again (if available) and use the promotion there. At that point, it became clear that the associate was unwilling to provide basic customer service or a reasonable solution. Her demeanor throughout the interaction felt dismissive, as if she was more interested in posturing for the other employee than assisting a customer. There were no other customers in the store, so this was not a situation of limited time or overwhelming foot traffic. For reference, the name on my return receipt is Carleigh (last name omitted), and the processed return amount was $70.15. This experience resulted in the loss of not only this sale, but the additional purchases I intended to make today--and likely any future purchases I would have made with Shoe Carnival. I have no issue taking my business to competitors such as DSW in Brentwood, where customer service consistently meets basic expectations. I strongly encourage management and corporate to review the service standards at this location. Customers deserve respect, accurate information, and professionalism--none of which I received today. Shoe Carnival, if you cannot appreciate your customers, you will eventually have to appreciate their absence. Do better.
