A contractor initially told me that this will be a $3000 repair job requiring a hole cut out in the kitchen wall to get into the back innards of the shower. The cartridge just needed to be replaced and Joey fixed it quickly within 30 minutes. My shower also had an incompatible shower trim kit in which the fitting was awkwardly forced together. Though they did not have the trim kit part, he pointed me in the right direction to get the missing component overnighted to me.
