So after I posted my original review, I did receive a phone call from Mr. Pearson, the gentleman who responded to the review. I was calmer after he called me, but he's missing some facts in his update. On November 11, Chris made an appointment for me. The truth is my appointment never made it into the computer. However, with that, Christian Diaz (I believe that is his name- the young man who checked me in on 11/24) placed my car under "Appointment Priority" when I came in and showed him Chris's card with my appointment date and time. I called the service department 6 times that day to get a status on my car, just to be told it has not been looked at that day, with Lance telling me I did not have an appointment and I told him I did. The sixth time, I told them to not touch the car, to pick me up and I'll take it somewhere else. I would have had my battery replaced there if their service was timely, which I did state I'll go to AAA. People whose appointments were after mine got serviced, like the guy who had the Pontiac 2-door. I know because I asked him what time his appointment was when I was waiting for my car to be pulled around. The truth is you all dropped the ball. DO NOT MAKE IT SEEM AS THOUGH I WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN MY CAR FIXED THERE REGARDLESS THE OUTCOME. The basis of my refusal was the 10 hours, numerous phone calls, and 3 social media posts to even get my car serviced when I had an appointment. However, I booked an appointment with another Chevrolet dealership. Hopefully their service is better than Davis's. Nice try sir. read more

Bought a new Chevy Silverado 2500 here and the guys did a really good job at getting me the best deal they could. Took a few hours from when I walked in until I drove off the lot. The guys did a really good job and were really nice throughout the entire process. I bought a previous truck here, and never had a problem with that. I am really disappointed with the service offered by employees at Chevy Davis. I live in Austin and when I spoke to them on phone they gave a quote. I drove all the way to Houston to buy car from this dealership and they quoted a much higher price than quoted on phone. Service in general has been terrible. I regret purchasing car at this place. Employees here are not courteous by any means. Manager was to rude when I was discussing about price. It's Just that I drove to Houston by renting a car for 3 hours, I had no choice but to purchase. There are definitely other dealserahips which talk to customers so well and give cars a much better price. I definelty would never recommend anyone I know to this place. Do not ever get your car serviced here please. I was having issues with my car starting and took it up here for repairs. When you pay $600 ($500 of that was just for the service) you would expect your car to be fixed? Wrong. When I went up there after they claimed my car was finished it took over an hour to even bring my car out. When I started it I just felt that something was not right but gave it TWO days before it stopped working again. I gave them a call and the receptionist said that they were busy/behind because of being closed on Fourth of July. I was told to leave my number and they will get back with me. Well I never got a call and had to be persistent and call them again. They said I could be bring my car in that following Monday to get a look at. During this time my car had gotten much worse and was not even drivable up there. At this point I just wanted a refund or at least give me the money back just for the service but apparently that was not possible. Extreme Frauds. I dropped my truck yesterday (Thursday) at 11:00AM to get an insurance estimate done, left it over night, and now its Friday evening at 5:00PM and my vehicle has not even been looked at! Bought a new truck here recently had no problem with the sales man and I love my vehicle but whatever you do run from their finance department very disorganized. Delays paying off my trade-in due to a clerical error on their part payoff sent to wrong address , then they want to act like it's my fault or my credit unions when it's really an error on their part. Bad business to blame a customer for their mistake. In hindsight I should've just used my own credit union again to purchase this vehicle and not Davis Chevrolets finance department. Ive purchased over seven new cars in my lifetime and never had this happen. They have had every excuse in the book why this isn't their fault. I got charged a $20 return check fee from my credit union because they put a stop payment on the payoff check of my trade in. read more

Went to this location today March 29th 2017 to get a key made for my car. The Key they made wouldn't work. Called and spoke to the manger of the parts department and explained that the key would not open the door and all he could talk about was how the cylinders could be worn and that thats a new key and it could be off a little, but would not refund my $150.00. They don't tell you that if you get another key made that after programing that new key the old keys won't work anymore. Good customer service means informing customers with information that will allow them make a good and sound decision. Had I know i would not have had them make another key. I guess Davis Cheverlet needs the money. read more

I Came into the dealership today in response to a recall on my vehicle. I was told that it would take between an hour and an hour and a half. I have been here for a little over 2 hours. :-( Also, when I originally set up my appointment, they told me they would look at another problem that my car had. But when I arrived today, he told me he didn't have time to look at it. I was slightly annoyed that they lied over the phone. However, in the waiting room They offered water and snacks, and the staff were friendly so I'm giving them 3 stars. read more

My experience with the dealer in all these years were great except the recent one. I never received a calling card and calls regarding status of my car. I have to call a couple of times to follow up on my car. The problem was the battery and they have to loan me one of the new cars as they can't fix a battery. I never received any missed calls from the dealership service department regarding status of the car. The previous advisers have no problem contacting my cell phone to give status of my car. My car is almost five years and contemplating of purchasing another new Chevrolet model, the only reason I deal business with this dealer is proximity. read more

7/15/17-George, Juan and team, you all have done it again. This time for my husband. He was very upside down on his Pathfinder and wanted to move into a 2017 Silverado. We walked in pre-approved with our bank so we thought. At the last minute once we had settled on the deal we found out that our LTV was slightly too high, I was disappointed but just as they always do George and crew saved the day. This was right at closing so they told us not to worry about it lets get a application completed now and the next morning come back and finish it. I was nervous because my credit had been pulled for my own car deal that I had just completed a couple days ago and of course in dealer fashion your credit will be splashed everywhere. We got the call the next morning to tell us the deal was done and come to sign. Very excited and my hubby is happy with the service received from George, Juan and the Davis Chevrolet team. This is my 3rd car purchase with Davis and each time the team is phenomenal. Rude and unprofessional!!! I called Davis Chevrolet at 10:00am on Wednesday. I told the service advisor I had a 2015 Equinox with a warranty that included car rental. The advisor transfered me to a man who assured me Davis could take care of my needs. I came to Davis at 5:15pm. The service advisor who assisted me acted as though I was lying about having spoke with a person earlier. I told him the number I called and he said that was the wrong number! I pulled it up on Google maps and showed him that the number I called was the listed number for Davis Chevrolet! He eventually plugged his code scanner in, told me it was an easy fix and was covered under my powertrain warranty. He then told me they don't rent cars out, I reminded him I spoke with a person earlier. He said that person left early and I would have to come back another day. I asked if I could return between 5pm and 6pm another day and he said no (service is open till 6pm!) I asked if I could call and speak with the person not there the next day and he said no, that I would have to come between 9am and 5pm! Rude and unprofessional!! read more

Bought a 2015 Chevy Trax last Saturday. Had Mark as my salesperson, and I'm extremely happy. My brother came with me to keep an eye on things, and even he was impressed. Mark made the experience a good one, explaining things as needed, and constantly checking on us as the sale went through. He was a big help, and though I don't remember their names, the finance department was also extremely helpful. They walked me through all the paperwork so in the end I didn't feel like I was signing away my soul. My brother is planning to become a customer himself. Although the experience was great with the sales person, unfortunately we were told that our new vehicle would have Bluetooth for media on the radio, which it did not. My wife specifically requested for this to be the case when we were first looking for the vehicle. The dealership would not provide an upgraded version of the radio so I had to buy one that had the Bluetooth feature. Unfortunately it is locked due to the VIN being locked and they will not help me get it unlocked for her. Service department is charging $137 just to unlock a radio and change the VIN. Sales person say's he is is going to call me back, but doesn't until the next day or many hours later. read more

Terrible service. My car is leaking water inside on the passenger floor mat. Service tech did not find the problem. The first day it was in service it was kept overnight. There was no loaner available. I had to catch the bus to get to work the next day. The next day my service advisor did not bother to call me. he left early is what they told me when I finally called around 1:30PM. The service manager apologized but I don't accept that. I had to catch another bus to get back to the dealership to pick up my car. My car is still leaking water today. I would definitely not recommend this dealership for their lack of service or communication to a customer. read more

Wednesday before hurricane Harvey i went & got an oil change & tire rotation from this location. Each time this dealership rotates my tires, my computer info is inaccurate. My system tells me that my rear time needs air (the rear tire previously had a leak). I fill it, only to find out that it was no in fact my rear tire, but it was my front tire. My car now tells me that my front tire has over 42 psi. So I have overfilled a tire, while the other remains low. I work at a hospital & those next 2 days were spent preparing for the storm. This is the 3rd time this has happened. I stopped coming (although I purchased my vehicle here) after the 2nd time the did this & I use another Chevy dealership, but due to my need to be in the med center & multitask, I opted to go here. Never again. At the other dealership they even wash my car & treat me great. If I hadn't consistently experienced problems here, I wouldn't say anything. read more

On my road trip passing through Houston, TX, I contacted Davis Chevrolet ahead of time to schedule a replacement of all 4 tires on my Corvette. I spoke with Christian Diaz, and he was super helpful. He arranged to have my new set of tires ordered without requiring an upfront payment, and even made sure the new set of tires would arrive ahead of service date. Also, upon request, he provided me with a loaner car while my Corvette was in the shop, and washed my car as well. That's exceptional customer service. Side notes: The car wash was a bit superficial, and the memory presets function on my car was acting strange for a couple of days immediately after the service, but I'm not going to hold either one against them. read more

I'm so pissed off. I always get a full synthetic oil change every time I come here. I've beer. Here almost two hours to get called to the window for them to have put the wrong oil in my car. Now I have to wait another 2 hours to get it redone because they can't do their job correctly. Hopefully my car doesn't mess up because they decided to put the wrong oil in my car. I'll never come back to this dealership. First of all it shouldn't take two fucking hours to do a oil change secondly I come here all the time it's on file that I get full synthetic so not sure why I was given the wrong oil. If something happens to my car after leaving here it will definitely be a lawsuit. To add to my frustration I also asked these morons to check my seatbelt because it was loose and my brakes and they didn't do either. I purchased my 2017 Silverado extended cab on August on the last week immediately after the hurricane Harvey storm. During the deal I was promised to receive a spray in bed liner and was told to simply contact my sales person (Jamail) when ready so it can be scheduled and during this time I would also get a loaner vehicle. In September 2017 I called the receptionist in the sales department and she transferred my call to Jamail where I left a message however several days passed without a call back). Since my work requires a great deal of driving, my first oil change approached and it needed it so I scheduled it also Monday October 2nd at 8am. For my first oil change, I scheduled it online (received an email confirmation of my exact request) and it had a comment section where I indicated specifically I wanted the spray in bed liner to be done as well. I assumed that naturally since I didn't have any luck with a call back from my sales guy this would most certainly be noticed and proceeded to go to my appointment on the date scheduled. I arrived to my appointment early in the morning and thus informed the greeter- Maneer, letting him know the reason of my appointment: oil change and spray in bed liner, showed him the "we owe you" document I received during my purchase and he took it with him. I mentioned I was told of the loaner vehicle i was promised. He said that this is something he would check on and asked me to wait in waiting area so I did. Almost three hours passed and finally I was called to get my vehicle and was told I needed to speak to the service manager Justin who will tell me about the status on the bed liner. I waited some more time to speak to the manager Justin who said that oil change was done however no bed liner as this is needed to be scheduled by the sales person who sold me the vehicle. No apology was offered even once by any of the people who spoke with me neither was my "we owe you" document returned other than what showed on my oil change receipt. It is now the end of the year and still I have had no luck in getting my sales person to call me back neither getting a sales manager to return my calls that I have left so that I can finally have the spray in bed liner as promised. I can understand that perhaps the sales person is no longer employed there and thus no call back however when even the receptionist transfers your call to the sales person you mention and also transfers the call to the sales manager Tom Pearson, one would assume that at least a call would be returned by somebody. Alas this is not the case at all. It is not the first brand new Chevrolet I purchase however this has by far been the worse experience not to mention the most inconvenient one. If there is a learning opportunity for this location is re-train these employees that a customer is who pays their salary so invest in customer service and own up to your promises made. read more

They are quick to get you in, give you explanations if you ask questions, and make the visit welcoming. I've been going here for the last couple years and am always treated excellent. Stopped in on my lunch to drop off my car for an oil change and to fix a faulty turn signal. Shuttle was available to take me straight to work which is less than 5 minutes from the dealership. I returned after work to get my car, only to learn that my turn signal was not fixed. The tech was very apologetic and offered to fix it immediately, but I had life waiting for me and a trip to get ready for. The tech said that he would get me an early appointment for Saturday, before I got on the road. I arrived 30 minutes prior to the dealership opening and I was like the 10th car there. I was on my way in less than an hour! Sometimes life moves fast and we're all entitled to making a mistake, but the tech did an awesome job trying to correct it. read more

This is my second time here. Today Amir was helpful & kind (opening doors, etc) while dropping my car off for service & Maria (the shuttle person) was pleasant. She is bilingual & I practiced my Spanish with her a little over the ride & she gave me her personal business card & said I can call her Monday when they call me to say the service is done so she can personally pick me up. As far as their used car inventory goes-i don't appreciate that there are no prices listed on the inventory as you have to ask the salesperson how much each one is. Come on- like you really have all these prices memorized off the top of your head? I said to tyre guy. Pretty sure they make up as they go often-- why else no prices listed on the cars. Hahaha. I took auto seller training back in the day. I know how it goes. I won't be buying any car here. :-p I prefer the smaller cheapo dealers where i can pay cash. Im on a budget =) read more

Went in for a 2015 Chevy Volt. Steve was very nice at first over the phone and the test drive until we got to his desk. I had done all my research and knew what all the costs would be based on hundreds of current volt owners and numbers provided directly by Chevy. Steve started bringing in additional fees, charges and prices that were outrageous after we got to his desk. After going back and forth discussing the origin of all these extra costs and numbers that didn't match with advertised prices or chevy's website he brought in his manager to "clarify things". His manager QUICKLY killed off any remaining possibility of closing a deal. He was extremely rude and condescending towards myself and my girlfriend. I absolutely will not purchase a vehicle from this dealership and because of this horrid experience it has left a bad taste in my mouth with Chevy. I will strongly advise any friends or family to stay far away as well. I hope everyone reading this heeds my warning and that of others, stay far far away from Davis Chevrolet. Go absolutely anywhere else! read more
