The food here is always good. Our group of 8 tried many options. One really enjoyed the pot roast dinner-but we ordered chicken fingers, a couple different burgers, broiled fish, turkey bacon wrap, Reuben and everything was good. The service was excellent too! Stopped here after yelping "patio bars in Lockport". I would never have noticed the place otherwise. We parked in back to find a patio entrance as well as a nicely groomed outdoor volleyball court. We sat at the bar and ordered both drinks and food. I had the southwest chicken wrap with homemade chips. My husband ordered Cajun medium wings. The food was fresh and well flavored. The drinks were cold and the bartender had a great personality. There was live music played on the patio and it wasn't overpowering. Made for a nice experience all around. read more

Honestly, this is one of the best places to eat in Lockport. It's very lowkey, and the decor is a little dated, but all the food is wonderful (and there is something there for everyone), the service is typically good, and there's a full bar and a nice patio for summer time. read more

My brother found this restaurant when he got lost looking for another place! He loved it and said we had to try it. Three of us had the daily special, a loaded prime rib sandwich. The meat was so tender and definitely smothered in Cheeze onions and mushrooms. The fries were hand cut and fried to perfection. The forth person had the Cubano and really enjoyed it. The house made chips were well seasoned and crispy. They had a fairly extensive list of beers on tap and a great looking happy hour. It's quite a drive from my house but would definitely go back! read more

This hidden gem of Lockport was one of the best new places I have ever tried! Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was so friendly! During this pandemic, that is not always the case. The menu was almost full as well. We went as a family on a Friday. We ordered the Cajun Fish, Open Face Sandwich and Wings with Onion Rings. The Open Face Sandwich was good and similar to most places. It came with french fries that were crispy, but not overly done. The Cajun fish had a buttery flavor which was a nice touch to other places. My dad loves it to be spicy, so next time he will ask for more Cajun. He loved the added buttery flavor though. He asked for gravy on the side for his fries which complemented the fries perfectly. The wings were done hot, but when they came out there was not a lot of sauce so I was wary. I was so wrong! You could taste the heat and the wings were perfectly crispy. I ordered a side of the Siracha Suicide (x-Hot) and it was definitely hot. I usually eat x-hot but wanted to try it first. Definitely will next time - it really is x-hot. It had a smooth finish to it too. The onion rings were cooked perfectly and each bite was crispy, the way beer battered onion rings should be. The only reason I gave them 4 and not 5 stars is it is a little hard to find. At first, we drove past it. The building is in the back of a plaza. We also got there right at 4pm and the advertising lights were not on. We saw people walking into the back and realized that's how you enter and found out it was open. Definitely worth a return trip. My friend and I stopped here for dinner a few nights ago....it will be a miracle if we don't develop a cough over the next few days. Our waitress, while very kind was coughing all over the entire restaurant without covering her mouth-seriously, not one time. We picked at our food and didn't feel comfortable eating most of it because of her constant coughing everywhere-we could even hear it when she wasn't in the dining room area. Popped in here with a group of 11 people as a last minute decision on a Saturday night, and they were able to seat us all quickly. Our group has some picky eaters, as well as those with dietary restrictions and everyone was able to find something they enjoyed on the menu. We ordered take out from here one night. I only got poutine and my wife got chicken fingers, so I will re-assess when we visit or order from here again. I will certainly return since this is 5 minutes from our house and the food we had was delicious! The poutine was really tasty. Good, well flavored gravy, and melted cheese curds! I wasn't sure how it would hold up for take out but it did and I really enjoyed it. Their fries alone are excellent. They're not those awful battered fries, they're a good ol' fashioned bar food fry. I tasted the chicken fingers and they were delicious! Plump, fried perfectly. Again, really good. Came with carrot sticks (fresh cut not terrible baby carrots) and blue cheese which was great. I honestly have nothing bad to say about DRI. I really enjoyed the food, the bartender was friendly. My father-in-law will love the atmosphere and drink selection here. Can't wait to bring him when he visits next! I'm a fan for sure and will probably update this to a 5 once I've had more of their food! read more

I had dinner last night with my boyfriend and ordered the potato skins, we both ordered the Boom Burger w sweet potato fries. The burgers were under cooked, my bun was soaked w blood from the burger. We both didn't finish eating it. Best part was the skins & fries. Service was bad only at the end offered a refill on drinks and no ice. Waitress didn't seemed to concerned when she asked how our meal was and we mentioned it was undercooked. No offer to fix it. It was not busy at all so no reason to not give good service. Let me start by saying that I forget about this place. It's not that this place is bad because it DEFINITELY isn't bad. It's really pretty tasty. Those that know me know I am really picky with my food. One thing I have been craving a lot recently are wraps. I got a chicken finger wrap with Boom Boom( yes, it's called that!) sauce and a little bit of bleu cheese. My brother got the boom bomb burger and it was HUGE!( he's the one who got me hooked on boom boom sauce). Do I think the menu is limited? Somewhat, but you have options. 9 friends and I did a self made chicken wing tour where we went to 10 places and ordered 10 wings at each stop. The goal? Find some amazing non-traditional/house wings and try them out so we could figure out some of the bests of Lockport. We stopped at the DRI for their DRI rub wings... do you see what they did there? The flavor of the wings was good, it was a sweetness about it; kind of like a maple sugar cajun. These weren't my favorite flavor wing of the day, but they were in my opinion one of the best cooked. Super crispy, but not dried out at all. Service has always been good here for me and they have other great food too(try a burger). I go to the DRI somewhat often, the only reason I don't go more is because it can get super busy and as a result loud. Otherwise, not a bad place to stop. read more

We went on a Friday night at 530. No wait, got seated right away. Ordered an appetizer that was taken by another waitress to a different table so we had to wait longer. 5 mins after receiving our app our entries arrived. My wife was very disappointed, she ordered beef on weck. Being from WNY, you would expect good roast beef from any sports bar worth their weight beef. That being said, it was deli beef. Growing up working in a deli and having a father as a butcher, she knows good beef, and this wasn't anywhere close. My burger on the other hand was delicious. If you want to be a good bar in wny you need to perfect 2 things... Wings and Beef on weck. Went here for brunch last Sunday. The food was great as it always is. I had the breakfast buffet. The service is always great here as well. They have a create your own Bloody Mary bar. The breakfast buffet and Bloody Mary bar is available only on Sunday's. My only regret was I didn't try the bacon flavored vodka. There is always next time I guess. read more

This place has great bar foods. They had so many burgers to choose from I had a hard time selecting one. We had a big group but they accommodated us in the back room with lots of space and comfort. The food came out quick and just how we ordered it. The menu has a little bit of everything on it from wraps, to dinners, to soups and salads. Something for everyone you are dinning with. Bartenders pay attention, always spot on with the service. Good beer list, mostly bottle, but much more than Blue and the Sam Adams of the week. Wait staff: 4 stars. They do just what's required, but are happy and cool about it. Food: 3.5 to 4- tough one. Irish Potato bacon soup is killer awesome; beef on week is kinda dry; fries are awesome; pretzel sticks are inconsistent, either awesome or doughy; other stuff is hit and miss. For a beer and some hot grub on a cold night, this does the trick. Like a substitute teacher-- you're happy with them, but not all the time. Nice spot to visit once in awhile. read more

We arrived at 5:30 and were seated immediately, 4 adults, 2 children. At 7:00, our waitress said half of our order was ready and the other half will be a few more minutes. At 7:22 she brought out the kids, and two adult dinners. At 7:25 the other two arrived, one being my fried shrimp basket, that I handed back to her, because it had been put back into the grease to reheat. It looked horrible, dark brown and soaked in grease. I was in the restaurant industry for 30 years. I saw her tell the manager, who at no point ever came to the table, Not one person ever asked if I wanted anything in it's place. The waitress never returned to the table after that. Drinks remained empty, and checks were not given to us until we put on our coats. It was our first and our last time to visit this restaurant. read more

I've never been to the DRI, so friends and I thought we'd give their Sunday brunch a whirl. They offer endless mimosas for $10 and have a "bloody Mary bar" - $5 each, with an upcharge for vodka that isn't their "well vodka". Our waitress was great about keeping friends' glasses full of mimosas, and the Mary's were DIY at the bar. Although it really should be called Bloody Mary pitchers just sitting on top of the Bar. When you think of a Bloody Mary bar, you think of an actual spread ... everything they had for it was just clumped together in a corner of the bar. There are two pitchers; the bartender will pour the vodka into a glass and then you have the choice of adding in [yourself]; spicy or regular tomato juice. They've got tabasco, horseradish, salt, pepper, celery salt, pickles, and garnish of banana pepper, celery and pepperoni to put on a toothpick. After, you hand your drink back to the bartender and they will shake it for you. I asked the bartender to just make mine because I was hangry, and I skipped the well vodka and asked for Ketel One ($2 upcharge). We also each got a water and I ordered coffee (a little weak for me, but not bad flavor) The buffet spread had srambled eggs (had a nice chew but also fluffy and very fresh), hashbrowns (small cubed potatoes - a little dry, not my fave), biscuits and sausage gravy (biscuits were light and fluffy, sausage gravy was creamy with large sausage crumbles, had great flavor), sausage links, bacon, french toast/syrup (friends liked it, didn't get any because I went for a bagel) and a bowl of fruit salad (for what fruit are in season now- very nice, colorful and juicy). Another table had bread and bagels with toasters and jelly, butter and cream cheese. Overall, a very nicely done brunch. May not offer a large selection like other buffets but I was very impressed with it, especially because it's a pretty big buffet when you consider that the DRI is really a tavern. The food was good and hot, our waitress was very pleasant, she kept our drinks filled and cleared all the plates in a timely manner. They do offer free WiFi. When you check into their network, the DRI sends you a $5 off coupon. Great experience, we will be coming back, but next time I'm going to skip the hashbrowns and the Bloody and stick to coffee ... and a plate minus hashbrowns leaves more room for bacon ;) read more

They were sold out of the spicy goulash by the time we arrived, total bummer! Guess that means it's delicious!! I ordered a Rueben and it was piled high with meat. I really mean piled.
