On a recent trip to Buffalo we stumbled upon The Dapper Goose and were so impressed. The menu items are sourced locally and created with thoughtfulness. We both enjoyed our meals, and the atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. we will definitely be back!

I really wanted to love this place, and there were definitely some highlights, but our visit ended up being a bit mixed. The server was very friendly, but our group of five waited quite a while for food, cocktails, and even to close out, which made the visit feel longer than expected. The burger was a hit for those who ordered it, but the seasonal beet ravioli just didn't land for the rest of us -- probably just not the right flavor combo for our group. Our table was also right by the front door, which kept swinging open and letting in cold air, so that definitely affected our comfort. That said, the cocktails were delicious and really creative. The place came highly recommended, so I'd still like to come back and try something different next time.

We had a great dinner here tonight for a friend's birthday. Parking is street parking but we were able to find spots. I'm sure on busier nights that could be a bit more tricky. The vibe is intimate and cute. We were welcomed in right away and seated. We started with two cocktails. Both the Spacewalker Jan and the None of this is Real were great. We started with the ricotta toast which was good. Then we both had the burger and it was delicious! Great flavor and melt in your mouth. We ended with the olive oil cake. Overall a great meal with great service!

Food - 4 ( just needed a pinch of salt) Price - 4 Atmosphere - 4 Service - 5 Get the Korean chicken wings! I can't tell you how delicious it was. Fettuccine was excellent and the pork was amazing. The food needed a little salt but just a little. I will definitely be returning here.

Delicious main entree. Medium rare tuna in a delicious breading over baba ghanoush with fried garbanzo beans and tomato cucumber bulgar wheat salad.

We had a reservation for five at The Dapper Goose for a birthday dinner, and the experience was completely uncomfortable and disappointing. The food was good, but not good enough to make up for how shockingly rude and unwelcoming the staff were. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt cold. The restaurant wasn't busy, and we were a polite, low-maintenance group, yet the staff treated us like an inconvenience. Our server and the person bussing our table were both noticeably short and dismissive. Every interaction felt awkward, tense, and unnecessarily hostile. For a place where entrées start at $25 and it presents itself as an elevated dining experience, the lack of basic hospitality was appalling. We left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. Good food doesn't matter when the people serving it make you feel unwelcome from the moment you arrive. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had high expectations of this place just from word of mouth. Got there around 6 pm for dinner on a Thursday and it was reasonably busy. We had a reservation so I was seated promptly. I got a glass of Riesling as I waited for my friend which was decent. With the food, we ordered the blackened green beans and the ricotta toast for mains and olive oil cake for dessert. The toast was ok, nothing impressive. The beans were surprisingly the best thing we got. Not sure what sauce they used, but it was definitely delicious. The olive oil cake was disappointing and didn't impress. What surprised me the most is quantity of food to cost ratio. The quality of 2 out of 3 dishes was just mediocre but the price point is pretty high for all of it. Service was good but not sure if I'll venture there again unless the prices go down.

i went for brunch and it was really nice! i have gluten restrictions so when i ordered the dippy eggs, they switched out the bread for hashbrowns without me even asking. very considerate! of course, the food was great as well. i liked the portion sizes; they weren't overwhelming. also the mixed dishware was a cute touch

I had received a gift certificate to try this place out. This has been on my bucket list for years. We were seated upstairs which had a really great ambiance. It had a really soothing calm vibe. The waitress worked our food into where the shrimp and cheese plate came out the same time. This was to be sure we could use the bread to soak up the broth from the shrimp. Good thinking! The shrimp was excellent. Cooked to perfection in this paprika sauce that was outstanding. Cheese plate was decent nothing jumped out at me but that's just me. We then had the Korean fried chicken wings..,oh my they were amazing! Spicy but not too spicy, flavor was awesome and crispy with a great crunch. We then shared the ricotta gnocchi and the burger. To wash this down I tried the well known Broken Garden Tools. Very different take on a gin drink which included celery juice which was interesting and good. All in all a good experience however I am not sure In the future if I would come back very often the menu is on the smaller side and I am not sure of different options that would be available.

What is the dress code? Would shorts, tropical shirt and loafers be OK in the summer?

Yup! While the food and décor is slightly upscale, you won't be out of place in shorts and a button up Hawaiian shirt. Just make sure the shorts are nice, not lacrosse shorts, lol. You sound summer ready! Enjoy! The food is amazing and the cocktails…

The Margherita focaccia was by far the worst of the night, soggy and flavorless, the focaccia was nothing like a normal one. The tuna had a nice presentation though it was quite mediocre, the rice was hard in some parts and seemed quite old, the tuna itself was fine but the dish as a whole was maybe on par with sushi you'd get at a wegmans. As my entrée I got the carrot papardella, everything seemed overcooked, hardly any lobster and what little was happened to be tough and rather flavorless, of course it was the same with the shrimp and crab. The pasta was overcooked and stuck to itself and the sauce was quite sweet and far too hot, twenty minutes into the meal and it was still steaming, continuing to turn the dish into mush. The meal was for three people and came out to be $240 after tax and tip, the service was nice but considering the praise this restaurant got I'm sure it's went downhill. The highlight of the meal was the complementary bread at the start.

Had a lime though. Egg dipped Artichoke Hearts 8/10 I was surprised to see the plating structure of this. Everything was good. Vinaigrette went well with everything. less salad mix at the bottom would be nice. Twin Filet Mignon Beef Tournedos 8/10 Cooked perfect, both of them. Decent flavor too. The mushroom sauce was good. The horseradish cheese was shredded, which was very strange to have on a steak. I could have done with a creamier cheese, Gorgonzola, or just none at all. Potatoes were good, a chunky mash. Asparagus was cooked good, al dente and seasoned well. Special: 1/2 Rack Australian Lamb 9/10 Cooked perfect, probably one of the top three best in the Buffalo area. The crust was great, the sauce was really good, could taste the mint and raspberry, but it wasn't super sweet like you'd think.

We also got the meat street pizza which was fine. The low rating is mainly due to the prices because how much we paid and what we got was not equivalent at all. The dip was $16 and the pizza $26. Each should have been at least half of that. Overall it was disappointing and overpriced and we won't be returning.
