This is such a good Kaiser facility…read more Much smaller than the gigantic hospitals I am used to visiting, quiet, clean, and well-maintained. This morning, I made a 2:15 p.m. appointment for my 17-year-old daughter to see a doctor. Due to heavy traffic on the Pomona freeway, we arrived forty minutes late for the appointment. The check-in employee at the front counter (a Hispanic male) advised me that my being late should not be a problem; however, it was up to the doctor. This employee walked to the rear of the clinic and personally spoke to the doctor or other staff members regarding my tardiness. With seven minutes, this gentleman walked back to his workstation, where I also remained waiting for a response, and he advised that my daughter was good to go. The doctor was going to see my daughter. It was my fault for arriving late, and the fact that this gentleman left his workstation and spoke on my behalf is TRULY appreciated. As always, my daughter received the best medical care available. I am a fan of this facility and each of the awesome staff members assigned to this location.

There was ample parking and only 2 people before me. I asked the receptionist if I could get help, without an appointment . I also asked her how long the wait was and she said "Do you have insurance?" Yes, I have PPO with United Healthcare. She said she would ask her enrollment person in one of the offices nearby to see if they accept my insurance. One minute later she comes back and states that they don't take my insurance. They don't take Optum Rx. I notified her that is for pharmacy- my insurance is United Healthcare Choice Plus. She still didn't understand and said they don't accept my insurance and they turned me down. I felt so humiliated! I was about to leave but then decided to call Admin billing center to confirm because no clinics ever turned my PPO away. The rep on the line said they definitely accept my insurance and even if I didn't have insurance they shouldn't turn me away. I went back inside to tell the rude receptionist that her poor customer service was unacceptable. Then the supervisor came and pulled me to the office. Nice lady, said I could be seen and asked for my symptoms, but I told her that I didn't want to be seen anymore by this office. I told her I have Tricare and UnitedHealth, and would go elsewhere to receive my care. If the front line is bad with service I could only imagine the back side care level of service. No thanks!!

It has been almost 3 years now, my mom was very happy at this Center. From Ms Katie to Ms Thuy ( social Worker) to the staffs they all very friendly and professional in helping the patients. Machines were cleaned and the facilities were even more impressed. They kept everything in order and well organized. They went extra miles to help even you weren't a patient there or just had questions. They will answer and accommodate you until you satisfy. The services were supreme as well run facilities. The doctor is a pretty decent doctor who listens to your symptoms and sit with you while you talk and he charts. ****Big Negatives**** If you want the doctor to sign paper work for time off work or disability, don't count on it!! You'll have to PAY COPAY to visit him and just to SIGN PAPERS!! Had to do that a couple times because he wouldn't sign and his office workers told me they'll do it but didn't. They even said to come and PAY TO GET THE DOCTOR TO DO HIS JOB. ********** Lots of Chinese patients. Be prepared to wait 30+ minutes even when you have an appointment. I wouldn't go when it's in the mornings. All the elderly patients go from 9am-12pm. Be prepared to wait 1+ hour on a Monday 1 or Saturday!! Hours are a bit odd. There's a 2 hour that the whole office takes lunch so you won't be able to reach anyone or call in for anything until they reopen at 2pm. Also, some days office only open until 12pm!! Office staff are young females. Some knows mandarin some don't. The office size is small with only 14 seats waiting seats. Old looking and feeling seats. Office feels like it's really old and very cramped!

Idid my whole prenatal care with Dr Purdom, best doctor yet that ive came across. He is so nurturing, caring, sweet, answers all your questions and concerns. Liz gave me so much prenatal information along with great referrals, not to mention her kindness and professionalism... Gen is always so sweet and caring also. They were always there to answer all of my questions when the Dr wasnt in. They all made my pregnancy so comfortable and warming. Great care awesome experience, im still a patient for my well woman exams and birth control. If you want great quality caring care then definitely come here. Both Gen and Liz are just the best!

This facility is a REUSE facility for artificial kidneys. Upon transferring my mom to this facility…read moreI was asked by the social worker if she needed new or reuse. I indicated new everytime. Instead when my mom went for her first treatment by herself with her caretaker they made her sign a reuse dialyzer form. For those of you who don't know you can get infections very easily from reusing these artificial kidneys. Subsequently a few months in my mother got sepsis and passed away. They are not the most honest set of Dr's out there and because my mom signed the paper I have no recourse. But that was misleading and just corrupt. Pay attention to what you sign and if you aren't happy with something speak up. They are currently in court now battling a wrongful death lawsuit, medical battery and fraudulent concealment. My mom told them she wasn't feeling well and asked the nurses to contact the dr to see if she needed to go to the hospital they called back saying no need and she died that evening. Last time I checked they shouldn't tell you not to go to the hospital if anything that's the only place they can help you since they are not equipped to treat you for other things in the dialysis center. They also did not give my mom an isolated chair and she had an infection that would drain down her leg as is required by CDC controls. Also the blood pressure cuff should not be shared but unfortunately anyone who sits in that chair gets exposed to the bacteria and drainage that was coming out of my mother's wound. Do yourselves a favor and find a reputable dialysis center who doesn't cheat you out of life because this one will suck the life right out of you.

The employees made sure to ask me if I was comfortable multiple times throughout my visit. They had free coffee which was such a bonus. I was even given ice! Clean sheets on every chair. I felt happy there :)
