The flavor was absolutely amazing with its taste being an explosion of deliciousness in my mouth. There were other flavor there that caught my eye that will definitely warrant another visit! What was once a food cart has transitioned to a small retail outlet, in a repurposed barbershop. It's quite small, but it does have atmosphere. The menu remains vegan desserts, many of them based on nuts. I ordered a mint-based sundae. It does cost more than a regular dessert, but it's dessert, so I don't generally make that huge of an issue out of it. What you're paying for is a top-notch cream. Gelato that "just happens to be vegan" is the tagline, and if you want a dessert that tastes as good as a high quality dairy product, I speak as someone who does eat premium non-vegan ice cream and still thinks that the product here is craveworthy. This cute gelato shop randomly came across my Instagram feed, within 30 minutes of seeing the post and stalking their Instagram page I was placing my order. This is the cutest little shop, there's limited room inside but plenty of outdoor seating. The staff were all incredibly friendly, amazing customer service. There's a wide variety of flavors and specials offered on the weekend. I went with the brownie batter and topped it with their whipped cream. Whatever you get make sure to add whipped cream! My husband and I stopped by Davvero Gelato after seeing a special they had posted on Instagram just a couple of hours earlier. Unfortunately, what should have been a quick and enjoyable ice cream run turned into a surprisingly stressful experience. When I tried to order the special, I was told they had run out of the vanilla ice cream needed to make it. No problem, I suggested substituting the espresso ice cream instead. What followed was several minutes of confusion among multiple employees, all discussing whether and how the item could be made with a different flavor. Rather than continue holding things up, I gave up on the special and ordered a Frappagato with espresso ice cream from the regular menu. Then my husband ordered the same item with a different ice cream flavor and asked if he could add a chocolate or mocha syrup. Again, several employees seemed confused about whether that was possible and how it should be done. This was especially puzzling because the menu we were standing in front of clearly listed those syrups as available add-ons. Maybe they were out of ingredients, and if so, that's understandable. The bigger issue was the overall ordering experience. Every request felt like it was being questioned or treated as unusually difficult, even when we were ordering menu items and add-ons that were advertised and available for purchase. Since customers are paying extra for toppings and customizations, it shouldn't feel like they're creating a problem by asking for them. That said, the actual ice cream itself was really delicious, and we did enjoy what we got. However, both of our cups were only about 3/4 full, which was a little disappointing. The employee helping us was polite, but the employee who rung us up was so anxious, the uncertainty and constant back-and-forth made the entire interaction feel awkward and chaotic. Ordering ice cream shouldn't be stressful. My advice would be to improve communication and staff training around menu offerings and substitutions. When customers feel hesitant to order what they want because it seems to create confusion or inconvenience, they're less likely to come back. The gelato may be great, but the ordering experience left us disappointed. read more

The flavors were really good. The gelato itself is good but not the best I've had. There's something about the texture it's more dense and not as creamy. I got the weekly sundae mango sticky rice because it sounded so good. It was good but not worth the very steep $14 price tag and always disappointing to see the ad and it not look like what you get. Ad looks like a scoop of mango. Mine only had three small cubes and cup wasn't filled all the way. A small single scoop was almost $6. It came out smaller than what was advertised. I appreciated the creativity of the flavors and thought out into flavor profile. My kid was disappointed to not see familiar flavors but it was good for them to branch out and enjoyed what they got. Love it! I went to a popular at their new space opening in 2024. I love that they had their items listed on the chalkboard before you walked in. My sister, mom, nephew, and I stopped by to grab a scoop. I inquired if the oat milk they used was gluten-free. They allowed me to read the container to make sure I was comfortable with it. Davvero catered dessert at my cousin's wedding, and it was a crowd pleaser all around! They offered a limited menu, with the most popular flavors being dark chocolate, mango, and peanut butter. I loved that all of the flavors were vegan and gluten free, so even the guests with dietary restrictions could enjoy some dessert!
