This is actually a 3.5, just not enough for me to round up to a 4. Dawg Park is a small hot dog, burger and milk shake joint and yup, it sure is dog friendly! =) There are a few games to play inside to keep kids busy which is great. This is a nice family friendly and dog friendly spot for lunch or dinner. There's about 30ish seats total inside and a few tables and chairs outside in front of the restaurant too. There are 2 ways to order once inside - at the counter with a staff member or you are able to browse the tablets on your own and order through those. Service was very quick, top notch fast within 5-10 mins and the staff is very nice. They offered suggestions and help if needed. They also bring your items to your table. No need to get up and grab them yourself. My fiancé and I tried the matcha shake - it was okay. It didn't seem to be authentic Japanese matcha but it wasn't a bad shake. Still a sweet treat! We also had the Chicagoan hot dog - this was pretty good. I honestly think it was a little too much but still pretty decent. Flavors were there, the bun is not your typical hotdog bun. It looked like a piece of brioche bread. Of course no ketchup too haha. We also tried the classic cheese burger - it was pretty good. A pretty standard cheeseburger, nothing fancy. We also got the cheesy garlic fries. I didn't care for these - the cheese was too thin and made the fries soggy quickly. I really like how all the food comes in dog bowls, it's a cute way to plate and makes dining in fun.

This place is fun to take your furry friend! It's hard to find dog friendly restaurants sometimes, so I was excited when my husband and I could take our dog here! The place has a cute dog mural when you walk in. Service was friendly; you place your order at the counter and then they bring your food to the table once it's prepared. Food was good! I had the bbq hot link which was flavorful and had a good snap to it. The zesty garlic cheese fries were okay- kind of wish I would have gotten the sweet potato fries instead. My husband had the chicken lemongrass bowl which he liked and was also flavorful. I LOVE that they have a dog friendly bowl with just white rice and plain chicken. Our dog guzzled it up.

My first visit to a Dawg Park Grill. The burgers here are destined to be a craveable addition to my local burger favorites. Waiting for my "to-go" order, it's clear this place is already popular after having just recently opened. I laughed at the sight of people eating salad out of metal dog bowls and the dog bone shaped cookies on their unique shakes. (I'll be back for one of those). The CA Burger is packed with bacon and juicy flavors. I haven't tried a hot dog yet, but I look forward to it. Dawg Park is definitely pricier than say Portillo's but the gourmet flavors of these upscale hot dogs and sandwiches are rightfully justified. The only thing I was surprised by is that a can of diet coke that set me back about $2 50. (That's like, half a dozen eggs these days)! A large fry order was more than enough for 2 of us to share. These fries weren't as crispy as I liked by the time I got home, so I just crisped them a few minutes in my air fryer. The decor is sure to please any dog lover and a fun place for all ages. It is nice to have a newer place for food at the Arboretum. I'll be back soon.

A fantastic treat to end our busy weekend!! Partner and I were celebrating our anniversary. We stumbled upon Dawg park. There's a giant connect 4 which is our game. Played a couple of rounds, I won all of them. Each got a milkshake and shared a burger!! Cant wait to visit again!

This was an unfortunate first experience and I'm gonna start off by saying the food was delicious. This review is not about the food. I just have notes about functionality and service. You order at a kiosk when you walk in the door, which is not an issue, but after ordering my husband came up to me and said he thought the total was really high. Well it turns out there were fried pickles and hot mozzarella sticks on the receipt that we did not order. So what we think happened, is someone else started an order before us walked away, and we ended up coming up to their kiosk and placing our order. The staff did refund us for one of the items, but only after it was dropped on the ground and then placed on our table for us to eat. Which was then the second time we mentioned we didn't order it. The servers are young, and I don't want to say anything poorly about them, but this could be a learning experience to not serve food that was dropped, even if it didn't touch the floor. My second note is this the environment is not very size inclusive. As a bigger person, the only place for me to sit was at a stool at the bar seating. The booths were very low and the tables are about belly button level when you sit in the booths and the other chairs were very narrow with arms or hanging from the ceiling. My final note is that neither bathroom had soap and it took forever to get our drinks, we had to ask after our food was brought out.

Just ok... definitely a one & done kinda place. Very overpriced for the good that you get... It's nice that you can bring your dog, but the food just isn't that great for the price. The seating is limited!

68.00 for 2 apps, salad with very little toppings and dressing, 2 shakes, and one dog bowl of chicken and rice.

I was so excited to try this place. It was very disappointing. The ordering system is not easy, needs to be available at tables so dogs don't have to wait in line. I went on Saturday late afternoon. The service was not friendly or knowledgeable about what good they had. I ordered 2 grilled cheese, paid and waited at the table only to be told at that they were out of bread. I ordered cheesecake shake and they were out of cheesecake. The food was pricey and not good. The best things at our table were mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. The restaurant is fast food type food with restaurant prices. It was very busy and it would be important to have a max of people allowed in at once. Felt very crowded. Families came with no dog, and their toddlers and young children were screaming and throwing things in close vicinity to dogs and tables. Such a cute idea but not enjoyable for the pups or pup parents. Very pricey and poor service.

A unique restaurant that caters to those that love a good boujie hotdog. Lots of toppings and options. Beware though-it's rather expensive. For 3 people and a dog, my total bill was over $50. My kids loved their hot dogs and my dog happily ate chicken and rice. My meal (Buffalo chicken bowl) was a little too one-note for me. I would have appreciated vegetables in there, but the chicken was good. There was just too much Buffalo sauce for my liking. Cute ambiance with several games to play and dog decor.

This fiesta bowl was so good! Very nice inside. Check it out, if you like pics there are lots of photo ops inside

The best burger I have had! This place is legit. Fries are excellent. This is the first place that I want to go back and keep going back until I try everything on the menu. Personally I don't appreciate being served in a dog dish but the food was so good I instantly forgot. The dog dish is my only complaint. Food is EXCELLENT! I will be back and will be taking everyone I know to this place.... Pic is of the dish... GO GET A BURGER AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!

Grab your four legged friend (dog) and take them out to eat at this really cute restaurant. I had the California Deluxe hotdog which came on a bun that was a hybrid hotdog bun/slice of bread which was toasted and delicious with a side of smoky garlic cheese fries. My son had the classic cheeseburger with extra napkins (very juicy). They also have a menu for your puppies as well as vegetarian options. Really good food and great atmosphere.

It was empty when it arrived, but filled up on our way out, telling me it's a popular place for the younger crowd. Either way, you know you're in for a good meal when you see the huge doner rotisserie spinning. The owner (at least I'm pretty sure he was the owner) helpfully walked us through their sauce selection and even offered my MIL some sauce samples. She ended up getting the hot dog with veggies, while my wife and I got sandwich combos (17 for the sandwich + 3.50 for fries and a drink). I was going to share my combo with my preschooler since they don't have a kids meal, but the owner thoughtfully offered some fries with chicken for him. We definitely had to tip well for such nice service. So this is no ordinary sandwich, and the pictures don't do it justice. In pics it looks kind of like a pita pocket, but this thing has some HEFT. Filled with veggies, meat, and sauce, it got a little messy but was really tasty. The veggies were fresh, and it's hard to top meat sliced right off the log. My MIL said her unique hot dog was good as well. To me it looked like a Chicago dog from another dimension, but I also want to give it a try next time. Protip: Ask for your sauces on the side. They're almost too generous with it on the sandwich so it's nice to have a little more control with it. This will definitely enter the rotation and will be letting our friends know as well. Great stuff!

For some reason after I got my food, it became extremely busy, like people were waiting for tables to eat at. They have a bathroom or two, you have to go through the back of the kitchen. The parking lot when it's not super busy is spacious. I think they have about 9 tables, give or take. I ordered the Italian beef (dipped, hot peppers on the side, sweet peppers on top, and mozzarella cheese) and the original famous hot dog. I got a large Pepsi but it was jumbo size compared to most places. The Italian beef was very juicy. The giardiniera is mildly hot, not as hot as what people say. I liked that they gave me a ton of cheese and the sweet peppers were large. This is the real gem not the hot dog in my book. The original hot dog had a nice bite to it but it wasn't amazing. The fries were hand cut and crunchy. They give you a moderate amount of fries. Service was very friendly and fast. 4.4 on Google is more accurate to the experience than the 3.5 on Yelp.

They also have a drive thru if that is a better option for you. I entered the building and I am glad to see nothing big has changed since I attended almost 10 years ago. I ordered the combo of two hot dogs and a drink. This location does serve the depression hot dog, and not your traditional hot dog. However, I am sure they can build one for you with the optional toppings. Here.. their "Everything on it" is only onions, mustard and relish...and a fist or two full of fries which is all wrapped up. The fries tasted as good as I remember. They do allow ketchup and there were a few bottles around the place to get some. The hot dogs were also as delicious as I remember. It still has the amazing snap and I am glad to see nothing has changed. I wish I lived closed to this location as I would attend more often, but I am happy to see this place has changed nothing since the last 10 years.

Feels like they skimp on the fries too. The gyro also felt small compared to what you would get at any other place selling them.
