They were there for a little over 48 hours and one of my dogs came back shaking and panting uncontrollably and unable to relax. I was told REPEATEDLY that my dog has anxiety and that is what it is but that doesn't explain why she has been so traumatized this time but not the other times. I have reached out to this business and they just keep telling me it's my dogs fault and will not give me anymore information. I have seen other reviews stating the same thing from within the last year and while I was hesitant to bring her this last time because she has had a great experience in the past I did anyway which IS my fault. My dog who has been going there since she was 6 months and is now almost 5 has never had issues like this and has come back a completely different dog. If you value your dogs and their health (mental and physical) look somewhere else. I know this business will come for me in the comments because that is what they do but I have tried to reach out for help before it got to a review and they have not given me much of anything so I just wanted to WARN others of my experience. Do what you want with this information but I will NOT be using or recommending this place anymore in the future.

Our family has had three of our dogs coming here for 15 years. We've never had any issues until…read morerecently as the daycare has a new owner. We understand that transitions are tough and have compassion for that, but the experience (or lack thereof) that we've had with the new owner has been jaw-dropping and severely disappointed. Last week, we got back from our family trip and our dog Ellie was boarded for a few days. She always has had the best time and has never had any issues or injuries. Any time something did happened, we were called right away and an incident report would be filed. There has always been a trust had with Hot Diggity Dog. Now onto this new experience. We came to pick up Ellie and noticed when we got into the car that her left paw was bleeding. We looked at her paw and one of her claws was clearly ripped out of her paw. The nerve was still intact, but NOBODY said anything to us upon pick up or called us when it actually happened. That was red flag #1. When we went in to address it with the gals in the front, Christina was the only one who tried to genuinely help and give us answers (she very well might be this new owners only saving grace). She let us know that the owner was going to call us and let us know but that they have been so swamped and it "slipped their mind". That the owner was going to still call us. I let her know that is a breech of trust with us but that we will wait for that phone call. The new owner has still never called us and it's been almost a week since that convo. That is now red flag #2 and was a deciding factor that we will no longer be bringing our dogs to Hot Diggity Dog. If this new owner would have been accountable to what they said, we would have been more than happy to extend forgiveness. Unfortunately that did not happen and the ball was dropped not once, but twice. Accountability and integrity are HUGE for us. Hot Diggity Dog's previous owners had that. I hope this new owner learns the importance of that.

There were a few problem behaviors we were able to work on right away. Jumping, sitting, and overall listening. AJ is extremely great with our dogs. They are excited to see her every session, and happy to work hard for her. AJ is not only a great dog trainer but also a teacher to us humans. She helped us learn the tools we needed for our dogs to be successful. After 8 sessions our dogs are doing great with door manners, a long stay, coming when called and more. She has taught us fun games that allow the dogs to use their noses to find scents, while also tiring them out. I recommend AJ to anyone in need of help with dogs who already are great, but have a few quirks to workout. And I highly recommend AJ to anyone with new pups in the house. I must stress that AJ is just not about training but more importantly she believes in Nala's well being. AJ created a bond with Nala, yet Nala is aware she is in training. AJ listened to our needs, and investigated our surroundings/situation. AJ prioritizes Nala's delicate insecurities. There are not many Trainers (or businesses) that go above and beyond the need to "sincerely help" and yet is still a professional. ie: AJ has accompanied us on numerous Vet visits; suggested Doggie Daycare, plus accompanied us on Nala 1st visit and ensured Nala's transition into socializing with other dogs. In which was a success! Nala is now at leash training status and people interaction. Stay tuned for further updates... Don't ponder... we still HIGHLY RECOMMEND AJ for your pet training needs!!!!

(This is after getting quotes from multiple other groomers). When checking in, they ask you about what you want for the cut and they make it happen!! My Phoebe left the groomers a very happy girl. Met the owner Angela and you can tell that she's passionate about her work and that she loves animals. The rest of the team are just as amazing. Felt super comfortable leaving my Phoebe here as they greeted her so warmly that it wasn't a stressful experience for her, especially going to a new groomer. I've hired so many different people and companies, and one after the other totally let me down by not taking good care of my fur babies or even worse, not even bothering to show up. I have interviewed dozens of sitters, and I have never been more impressed with anyone than I have with Desiree, the owner of Little White Dog. I hired her on the spot, and it was the best decision I have ever made! Desiree was able to come by in person for an interview and meet and greet with just a one day notice, and I was so impressed! She was punctual and asked all the right questions. One of my cats instantly loved her, running up and meowing like crazy for lots of lovins (always a great sign). I knew this would be the right match! Little White Dog Company has been caring for my pets for about 6 months now, and they are THE BEST. I've booked them from everything like a 14 day trip to a one day drop-in. Depending on your service request, you will sometimes be assigned different sitters. I've had several different employees drop in on my cats, and they've all been excellent, but Desiree is my favorite. I can tell she has a good relationship with my pets, and they are starting to recognize and like seeing her, too. I love that there's total accountability, which is important. The sitters set a timer so you know they stay the entire scheduled time, and I love the detailed reports and photos that I am sent shortly after every visit. Scheduling is very easy, as is adding additional days if necessary. Of course, the more notice the better, but I've had visits scheduled with just a couple days advance notice and they were able to accommodate me. Prices are reasonable ($26 for a half hour visit; I have three cats, but the rate is the same as if I had one pet), and you can pay online with a credit card (which gives you yet another level of safety). I like that there's an option to add a tip when you pay. They have an app that's amazing and easy to use, and it's a great way to keep in touch with the people caring for your most important furry family members. I always crack up when I get the reports and pictures, but it also puts me at total ease so I can enjoy my vacations and keep my focus on business trips because I can rest assured that my cats are in the best hands possible! It's a tech-savvy company for sure, and I can't say enough positive things about the app. Users can go in and change things like their garage door keypad code, give detailed instructions, or ask questions before, during, and after the sitter visits. This is important for things like if you're expecting a package delivery or trash day. I like that I can choose the time window for visits, and they offer both 30 minute and 1 hour check-ins. The app also offers a secure place to store things like your neighborhood gate code, alarm system code, and emergency contact numbers. No more paper instructions, it's all in the palm of your sitters hand! Best of all, my cats seem happy when I return home, instead of stressed and upset. That means they also love the sitters as well. My home has always been left in a clean condition too, and their litter boxes are spotless and their water and food bowls totally full. If you're looking for a safe, reliable, and professional pet sitting service, I highly, HIGHLY recommend Little White Dog Company.
