Amazing dental office in south Torrance! Found Daybrite on my list of dentists from my insurance company and of course checked the reviews on yelp especially the ones by Elites. Grateful to have pretty healthy teeth that I basically only need to do cleanings every 6 months. No cavities in 13 years! My smileys are smiley. My interactions with the office staff, dental assistant, and Dr. Lee were great! They are not just knowledgeable and efficient in what they do, they are all cheerful and kind. This dental office has now become my go-to! Dr. Kim, Dr. Lee, Glenn (hygienist and assistant), along with the front desk Melody & Paola have been instrumental in the way I had my experience here. I was looking to do 2 wisdom teeth extractions (Upper left and bottom) and had a very expensive quote out of pocket from another dental office I've been going to for a few years. Daybrite Dental gave me such a great offer for me to utilize my out of pocket expenses and save some more to use for future cleanings and services. Not only are they competitive on that, their service was warm and helpful, plus their office was clean and organized. Melody and Paola greeted me nicely and had me complete forms on an iPad. Glenn took my panoramic x-ray to review my latest teeth structures and said that the doctor would take care of my upper wisdom first because the bottom one was impacted (partially growing out and in bone) and had my root very close to a nerve so they showed concern on that, which I appreciated their attention to detail on since the other dentist I went to didn't mention much on this. I had an existing appointment with the other dentist just in case so it didn't matter if they couldn't do both. Coming in for the upper extraction, Glenn was amazing to get me settled in and ready for Dr. Kim. He was friendly and knowledgeable + had some banter. Dr. Kim came in and it was such a breeze. He gave me a few numbing shots and his chair manners were great. The extraction took only a couple minutes, which shows how professional he was! I was so shocked. After that, Dr. Kim said he'd follow up with me on my other extraction, which was because I have an impacted wisdom tooth. He had a CT scan taken from me so he could send it off to his oral surgeon to review before we commit to another extraction. We looked it over together as he explained the areas of concern. I would've taken both out from them the same day if my situation wasn't more complex than it should be. I'm so happy I have this place to go to for my dental needs. Thank you so much! read more

I looked for three things with a Dentist: competence, empathy, and integrity. Dunlap dentistry has all three in spades. Dr. Dunlap is a family and orthodontic dentist. She has a wonderful staff of female hygeinists who put my anxious 5 year old at ease. She went through all my xrays tooth by tooth and let me know, "this one is no hurry, we can just watch this" etc. In other words, NO UPSELLING! I had not been to the dentist office in years and was a little nervous . The office was clean bright and the staff was so welcoming and nice. The staff immediately made me feel very at ease. I explained to the receptionist upfront that I Did not want any surprises when it came to billing. She assured me that they would review all the costs before proceeding with any procedures regarding my dental work. My x-rays are done and a very quick time as it seems they have pretty advanced technology. When the doctor walked in, it was no surprise , she was also delightful. Attentive and wonderful dentist! I had a dead tooth since I was 12 and Dr. Dunlap was the first dentist to realize I had an infection in that tooth. This resulted in the dreaded root canal but it wasn't bad at all. I moved out of state 2 years ago but still come back! Great staff! read more

Dr. Dunlap is my doctor and my family doctor. She is great with kids and adults. I really like how patient she is with me. Her staff is great with communication and help you understand the treatment or process you might need. Everyone is courteous and want you to have a happy visit.
