I found this gem on Yelp while looking for a salon in the DB area! I made an appointment the same day after work at 5:30 pm on a Tuesday for both a gel manicure and pedicure. And WOW! Victoria did not disappoint. She was so meticulous in every nail she painted, you could tell she is extremely passionate and proud of her craft. The storefront is homey and clean, with bursts of color & decor. I really appreciated Victoria checking in every so often to make sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment. I will definitely be back next time to get my nails done for a special occasion! read more

Because I happened to pass by this store and saw someone inside, I politely walked in to ask about pricing. However, before I had a chance to speak, she looked up and immediately told me to make an appointment online. It made me feel that she was not patient enough to listen to my question. I had not said anything yet and was just about to speak when she repeated that I should book online. I then explained that this was not my question -- I was asking about the available time slots online and the pricing. Although her tone of voice sounded gentle, her overall attitude felt impatient, and I felt that she was not interested in doing business. For context, I regularly spend over $200 per visit on manicures and I always tip generously. I was looking for a new salon nearby because my previous nail technician moved away, which is why I walked in to inquire. However, interrupting a customer before they even finish asking a question is, in my opinion, unprofessional. Of course, a business has the right to refuse service, but as a customer, I also have the right to share my experience. Based on this interaction, I don't believe the service at this salon would be very good. ------- I found the store's response, describing this as a "disturbance," quite laughable. I had not even begun speaking before I was interrupted. If you are unwilling to provide service, a sign stating so would be appropriate. However, the door was open and there is a " open" right in front of the door, clearly indicated that the business was operating, now you said that you don't want to be disturbed? How ridiculous! Of course , if you don't want to provide service , you can say " we are close " or " I am busy sorry", it is so easy. It is acceptable. Being cut off so abruptly before saying a single word made it clear that this business lacks the basic patience required for customer service. At the very least, I could have been told that they were busy and asked to return or speak later. Instead, I was simply interrupted without explanation. As business Mentioned " courteous ", I believe a courteous staff member would respond in this way, " sorry I am busy" " sorry we are close" and a courteous staff member would not consider a new customer's attempt to speak--before having the chance to finish--as an interruption. In their response, the business also labeled customer questions as "slander." Characterizing a customer's reasonable feedback as "slander" is itself a form of labeling. It shifts the discussion away from the actual issue and places an unwarranted accusation on the customer. With this type of attitude, it is difficult to understand how customers are expected to feel comfortable or respected. This response is disappointing, not because of disagreement, but because of its flawed logic. A customer raising a concern about an interaction is not an act of hostility, nor does it constitute slander. I left my comment on this platform with the expectation that, as a business owner, you would first reflect on the appropriateness of the staff's response. A simple acknowledgment or clarification would have been sufficient, and I would have been willing to try your services. When a business is open to the public, a respectful exchange between staff and customers should be the starting point. Interpreting customer questions or feedback as antagonism runs counter to the basic principles of doing business. read more

Make an appointment here! Wow! They are so sweet, caring and have an attention to detail. If I lived closer I would absolutely be a regular here. My daughter and I were in the area and both needed our nails done. It was a Sunday morning and I called the number to see if we could get in. I didn't realize this is a very personal shop, no walk ins. It's upstairs in a business building with covered parking below. She asked me to text her our names and services and fit us in a few hours later. They really take their time here, so plan for a few hours. I appreciated the way they really made sure the work was done right. The prices are absolutely reasonable as well. Such a great experience and they offer many services such as lashes nails pedicures and more. read more

This place is amazing! I had read really great reviews from customers that have gotten their nails done by Victoria. I was really hoping to get her and I did! I had went to a different nail salon before. It was my first time getting gel X. I had gotten it done on Monday. The Polish was already starting to fade in the edges and the color was supposed to be cat eye but it didn't look like cat eye at all. Also the shape was all wonky. I just wasn't happy with the way they came out at the previous place. Victoria took extra care and time with my nails. I had not gotten this level of detail work from the other spot. I would have gotten the gel X again but because I already paid that much on Monday, I couldn't afford to do it this time. Instead I removed the gel X acrylics whatever you call them. I don't know all the terminology yet because I'm still a newb. The studio is in a small business lot. It's very cozy and intimate setting. They also do pedicures here. Overall, I highly recommend this place. My nails came out fantastic! Super happy! I will be coming back for sure! read more

Victoria and Emma were really sweet. They took their time and made sure we liked our nails. Their studio is on the second floor, and you need to make an appointment in advance. It was really easy to do over text message. When we arrived, there was plenty of parking. I got a regular pedi with polish & gel mani with designs. I would definitely go again. It took about 3 hours for both of us total (both had manis and pedis). You can pay card or cash. I will definitely come again! read more

Victoria is an amazing nail technician. For my first time getting my nails done, I didn't know what to expect and was nervous. When I stepped into the studio, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Victoria took great care of me and provided great attention to detail. She examined my nails and gave me several options on how to achieve the nail look I wanted. I was nervous about how my fingers will feel after getting my cuticles cut and pushed - there was no soreness or pain at all! I would recommend coming to Daydreams Beauty Studio. I had a wedding to attend as a bridesmaid and my work hours ran till 7pm. Most salons close around that time and I feel lucky to have found DBS was able to accommodate for late hours. I texted Victoria to make my nail appointment and received nail design quotes. She may take a while to respond but she will do her best to get back to you within the same day. Gel manicure and pedicure took about 3 hours! read more

I scheduled an early morning appointment for gel manicure and gel pedicure. The salon is bright and clean with some personal touches coming through in the cute decor. The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing that I literally dozed off during the pedicure. Victoria is very detailed and careful and I was very pleased with the quality of work. You can see in my photo that the manicure lasted for 27 days and would probably last longer, but it's time for a refresh. Will definitely be returning. read more

PERFECTION!!! This was my first time. I would like to note that if I could give more than 5 stars on this review, I would give unlimited golden stars. Her cute salon was clean. Relaxing music in the background. There's a cellphone holder incase you wanted to watch Netflix/YouTube etc...and a neck/back massager available to use during your appointment. She's probably the best nail technician I've ever had. Definitely exceeded my expectations. She's friendly, thorough and very detailed. They saved my wedding nails! I got my nails done at a different salon in Westminster/Garden Grove two days before leaving for my wedding out of town. Had disappointing work done and a horrible experience overall (largely due to service received at time of appointment and terrible correspondence with the salon afterwards). I could not stand my nails the more I looked at them. I hadn't gotten my nails done for years at that point and was so devastated and sad thinking I might have to wear those nails for my wedding. I had one day to find a solution and I decided to just start from scratch somewhere else and hope for the best. I was so happy I found Daydreams. They reached out to me after I made an appointment request online. Asked for my inspo pictures, told me what they could do and could not do, and ensured we were on the same page before the appointment. They welcomed me in the studio before my requested appointment time to discuss the color and design options to ensure I would be happy with the results. I came back later for the mani/pedi appointment. Throughout the session, they were so patient, suggesting and having me try different shades and different designs. Victoria did amazing! She has a small studio of her own and she took off my old gel x so carefully to preserve my natural nails. Her prices are super affordable and I would definitely recommend her to my friends. I am from the bay area and I am going to miss doing my nails here. I love personal nail salons like this and Victoria is amazing at her job. I am a chronic nail biter, but she was able to clean and tend to my nails with care & i have been able to grow out my nails and be back for additional manicures. Went to Daydreams on the spur of the moment. My daughter and I were looking for a local place that could see us at the same time. We were calling around on a Sunday morning and were struggling to find a place that had good reviews, was local, was open on a Sunday and would answer their phone. When I called Daydreams, Victoria answered. She was great. She really worked with me and was able to squeeze us in. The place is clean and serene. And the work is good! Found Daydream Beauty while searching for a nearby nail salon when I had some extra time before picking up my kids. Victoria accommodated me within 12 mins, though I later learned it was because she was picking up her daughter. She texted me 5 mins later to come in. Her meticulous work with gel builder and cat eye impressed me, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Despite primarily speaking Mandarin, Victoria communicates well with a translator app. Booking ahead is necessary, but the clean shop and wide color selection make it worthwhile. Went today for a nice, relaxing Pedicure! Victoria was so sweet and professional, on top of that, she was extremely careful and detailed - which is so so so important to me when I get nail services. I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely be back! P.S. Their building is a little hard to find. Next to gas station and across from Diamond Bar High School. So glad to have a Japanese gel manicurists so close by! Victoria works usually by herself but she's the one you want. Very detailed when it comes to nail shape and her painting techniques. Also takes extreme care of your nails. Mine are so much healthier now since the last place I left. And the best thing is her work lasts so long! These photos are one month after my appointment and not even a single rhinestone has dropped. Which is impressive especially since I have bad habit of picking at them! I'd recommend calling before you go -- even if you already made an appointment online. I booked a lash extension appointment online for 4:45 PM and even received a confirmation message. When I arrived, the lash salon was completely closed. I called the number listed on Yelp, and the lady told me the lash artist would arrive in 15 minutes, but I ended up waiting almost 40 minutes. While I was getting my lashes done, another customer arrived for her 6 PM appointment, but there wasn't another lash artist available. She was told the wait time would be 1.5 hours, so she ended up having to cancel and reschedule her appointment. This honestly showed poor scheduling and communication. As for the lash quality, I've had lash extensions many times before and followed all aftercare instructions carefully -- no water for 24 hours, no oily skincare or makeup, and no rubbing or pulling lashes. Despite that, my lashes started falling out almost immediately. In less than a week, around 70% of the lashes had already fallen out. The design was also uneven. I got gel-x extension on saturday, 04/18/2026 and in the appointment I saw some red flags ‍ It seems that they were using used nail files both hand files and e-file bits on me. I appreciated that they sprayed some type of disinfectant when using cuticle nippers. Also using used clean up brushes basically did not use any disposable or sterilized instruments on me. (Except for my feet which they used a disposable pumice stone but again the nail clippers and cuticle nippers were not sterilized) I noticed that they didn't cure the tips properly because as far as I know you need to flash cure the tips for 60 seconds + full cure on the big lamp but the lady only flash cured for like 5-10 seconds I thought maybe it's a different product with different instructions? I thought the finished product was okay and I even paid 20% tip but less than a week later Wednesday, 04/23/2026 one of the tips broke... I don't think i'll go back to this establishment. Only thing is they're really nice and I get it they pamper their customers (even got a free diet coke) but it's not the most hygienic salon and I'd rather pay more for hygienic service than pay less for low quality and non hygienic service. Also I'd like to point out that the examples of the works they put here might have been stolen from the internet Price: $60 gel x set + $15 for catee polish Pedicure: I forgot if it was lemon or diamond something the total was around $118 but because of tip I paid around $148? I will be reporting this matter to Groupon and sharing my experience on review platforms so other customers can make informed decisions.
