I've gotten pedicures, acrylics, designs, gel, and most recently Gel X, and I've genuinely never had a bad experience here. I've moved around to different cities over the years, tried other nail salons, and somehow I ALWAYS end up coming back here. Because once you find a nail tech/salon that actually does clean, solid, GOOD nails, you don't let go! And when I say clean, I mean CLEAN. No chunky acrylic underneath, no sloppy edges, no nails that look rushed. My nails always come out fresh, even, and exactly how I want them. Another huge plus: they don't push services on you. Their pricing is fair, they're honest, and they actually care about giving you a good experience rather than upselling you on everything. Henry is also such a gem. He's owned this location for **15 YEARS**, which says a LOT. He's incredibly kind, humble, personable, and always makes you feel welcome. If there's ever something you're not happy with, he's more than willing to listen and make it right. THAT kind of customer service is rare these days. I'll sometimes walk in, and yes, they can get busy -- but I usually just call ahead to see what their availability looks like. They're always respectful of my time, and I try to be respectful of theirs . AND they just renovated the salon!! New lighting, fresh paint, new equipment -- the whole place looks SO good. It feels fresh, clean, and modern, and honestly, they deserve all the support for continuing to invest in their business and the community. After five years of being a customer, I can confidently say: I haven't found a better nail salon. If you're in Diamond Bar, Pomona, or the surrounding area and you're looking for a new nail spot, GO HERE. During my pedicure, the technician accidentally nicked me hard enough to draw blood. Accidents happen, but there was no apology. When I politely asked if she could disinfect the area with alcohol since my skin had been broken, she acted annoyed that I even asked. During my manicure, I simply asked for her opinion on how to fix a broken nail and which color she thought would look best. Instead of being helpful, she looked visibly irritated. Later, I asked if she could apply one extra coat of polish, and she rolled her eyes. I actually found myself apologizing for making a simple request, which says a lot about how uncomfortable the interaction was. The saddest part is that the staff often make you feel like you're inconveniencing them simply by asking for the service you're paying for. It feels as though they're doing you a favor instead of providing customer service. No customer should feel guilty for politely asking a question or requesting something reasonable. This isn't an isolated experience either. Last month, my husband was also accidentally nicked during his appointment. We understand accidents happen, but it's the lack of care, empathy, and professionalism afterward that is most disappointing. As long-time customers, we expected to be treated with kindness and respect. Instead, we left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. And you will most definitely see me coming back here. First time I visited, I went right when they opened because I wasn't sure how much of a wait time it could be since I didn't have an appointment. I waited about five minutes before they were able to take care of me. Everyone was polite and friendly. Service was incredibly fast. I think I was only in there for an hour and a half again I only wanted something simple and basic so that also contributed to me not being there long. Fast-forward to about a week and a half I noticed I definitely needed to go in for a fill. This time I did make an appointment for 10:30am, I walked in at about 10:12, I knew I was definitely early but I figured I'd take a seat and look at color options while I waited. I did not wait long however they seated me within three minutes of me being there. So I will most definitely give them five stars for how quick they are. This second time around, I did have a color in mine from the first time I went, and it came out fabulous. The nail technician when he was putting the color on did suggest chrome which I have never tried, and I am most definitely glad he did because the color I chose was definitely lighter than what I chose the first time and with the chrome it just made my nails look simple and clean but with a little bit of shine. Definitely love that as soon as you come in the atmosphere and the vibe is completely great. They sit you down and they ask if you would like anything to drink which I love. I usually don't say yes, but I love that they ask because it's just extremely polite of them. My only caveat and I think I might be the only one is, I do wish they would play something else on the TV that they have in there, the two times I have gone they have this baking show which seems great, but I do wish they would play some kind of chick flick or a romance movie or a movie in general rather than a baking show haha. Rather than taking accountability for the conduct described, the owner attempted to dismiss the incident by characterizing the use of an unclean towel as a mere "misunderstanding." Such a response is deeply troubling and reflects a lack of transparency and responsibility. The issue was not a misunderstanding. The technician attempted to reuse a towel that had already been used on another customer during my sister's pedicure service. This was witnessed and confirmed by another customer in the salon. Only after being confronted did the technician stop disputing the matter and obtain a clean towel. The owner's attempt to minimize this conduct raises serious concerns regarding sanitation practices within the salon and whether similar incidents may have occurred previously without customers' knowledge. Equally concerning was the technician's conduct following the incident. While she attempted to adjust the water temperature after my sister notified the technician that the water was unbearably hot, she never apologized, or demonstrated any concern for my sister's comfort.
