Excellent service and great food! We tried the build-your-own mazeman bowls, which is like a broth-less ramen. It starts at $14.95 which is such a deal in this area of Nashville! It's a super cute, chill spot that feels casual and authentic but very inviting! We also enjoyed the Tokyo Fried Chicken and the Hot Chicken Bun, which is like a Nashville hot chicken sandwich on a bao -- a super unique fusion menu item!

Great place to go for a solo date or quick lunch. The staff is vet knowledgeable of the menu and the culture of ramen. I got the fried rice bowl which came with a soy egg and it was cooked to perfection. The miso sweet potatoes are also a must try!

Pricey yes but the food is always good. I tried the location on division street for the first time and same quality as I have gotten at the Charlotte location as well as the east nashville location. Sat in the bar area which I will admit felt a bit cramped but the service was great. The bartender was quick to attend to my needs and overall everything went well. I ordered the hot chicken ramen. It was a delicious dish and I normally enjoy spicy dishes but not sure I would order it again as the spice level was a bit overbearing and the chicken is whole tenders. Id prefer they slice them. But still get 5 stars from me.

My coworker and I got to have lunch after deciding on Ramen and he picked Otaku Ramen at the Gulch. It had been more than 10yrs since i ate at this specfic location due to a food poisoning situation that made me avoid coming here.... I ordered the No 2 but substituted the Miso Chicken instead of the pork and added fish cake slices. I needed some heat but there is no chili powder so I took out my Buldak hot sauce that I travel with and added some to my noodles. Our server was attentive and obliged my request for hot water with lemons to soothe my sore throat. I completely finished my entire bowl which was absolutely delicious! This experience was really good and so I'm glad he picked this location as it has taken me 10yrs to overcome my fear of eating here but will return again soon

Overall very enjoyable ramen experience! I have yet to find a ramen place in TN that has me wanting more but this place hit all the marks. I ordered the shio tonkotsu ramen and the broth was creamy and flavorful, the noodles had a decent bite and weren't too soggy, and the pork was fatty and delicious. Though I wish they had a full egg in there as my meal only had half of one. We sat on the covered patio area which reminded me of an izakaya in Japan. The food also came out very fast. Service was average- nothing special. Pretty solid place overall!

Beware if you have high blood pressure! Their ramen was super super salty. The noodles were cooked well but their soup was practically just salt. My friend had the spicy chicken ramen and he said the chicken was spicy and cooked well!

I like this place overall. Came in about 6pm on a Tuesday night and it was almost empty so no need for reso. Parking was free the first hour. Was greeted and seated at the bar right away. A girl got me a water and took my order, as well as letting me know the HH specials. The HH specials aren't impressive by any means, and she let me know ahead of time absolutely no substituting or mixing any items on any ramens. Only adding on for charge. It was good to know, but I do think the policy of the restaurant could be rethought for those who can't eat certain items. Sapporo on tap and spicy chicken ramen was great. The service was fast and friendly. The server was present for refills but not intrusive which was a great balance. I would return to this place again because she was so great, and the food although I would've liked without a certain item was still really good.

Obsessed doesn't even begin to explain it. I love Otaku and this is the only location I go to. The staff is so friendly and always welcoming. The food is CONSISTENTLY delicious and I have never had a bad experience here. I love this place so much and it always hits the spot.

I have always ordered takeout from this location in Nashville. It always comes super fresh and so consistent. Have eaten a few times at this location I recommend the spicy miso ramen! I had to write a review because I was so appreciative of their great customer service. I came in with my sister last night and they were extremely busy and the manager was so accommodating and apologetic to us with having to wait a longer amount of time to get service. We really appreciate how she handled the situation and valued us as customers!

We were welcomed by a friendly team, and we ordered Hokkaido bubble tea and strawberry hibiscus bubble tea with our ramen. The portion sizes is huge and the ramen was delicious. I couldn't finish my ramen, but I knew I'd really bad letting go the delicious bowl of food to waste, so I took the remain food for takeout, so trust me, it was that good! The ambiance was very casual with plenty of sitting to accommodate enough people. Definitely my favourite ramen place in the city!

My wife ordered the Shoyu ramen (#2). It was really good. A little spicy, but not too much. And it was hot which made it taste better when the weather is chilly. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken domburi. It looked good, but when I took a bite of the rice it was cold. Domburi should be served over warm, fresh rice. Mine was ice cold. A BIG disappointment. When I went up to complain I was told that the rice is supposed to be cold. Also the cucumber was ice cold. The chicken was ok. I wish I had ordered ramen. The man I spoke to didn't offer an apology or offer to do anything for me. The restroom was pretty clean. And the eating area which is long table tops and stools was very clean. The music is a bit loud making it hard to chat if you are wearing hearing aids like me. I'm giving the restaurant a rating of 3, because the ramen was good. Don't get the dburi.

Yes! Bring your furry friend :)

Are all of the "ramen" dishes made with soba noodles? I'm lookin for a place that has the lightness and consistency of a true ramen noodle.

Sorry we missed this! Soba is a different noodle then Ramen. Similar in wheat used but different because the ramen noodle has an alkaline (think baking soda) that makes it have a slightly different bite.

The ambience is bright and energetic, with fun neon signs and decor. The space feels open and spacious with plenty of seating. We started our night with the Pork Belly Bao Buns, but since they were out of pork belly, we tried the Chinese BBQ Pork instead. I wasn't upset because they were phenomenal. The Soup Dumplings were just as amazing, but the Roti Canai (Malaysian flatbreads with curry sauce) stole the show. The curry was rich with the perfect amount of spice. You're missing out if you skip the appetizers here. For my entrée, I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, and all I can say is wow. The broth and tender wontons were the perfect combination. My boyfriend loved his Pad Thai as well, and the only downside was the portion size for the price. I want to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jaylen, for making the experience top-notch. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and offered great recommendations through the night. Hawkers is on my list for date nights, ladies' nights, or a casual evening out (especially for drinks and appetizers!)

We weren't complaining, but wondered why? The first floor at Acme has been described as a high-energy "Funky Tonk" atmosphere featuring a main stage for live music, a large bar, and fast-casual dining. Our band during our stage was even a little different than that, and what an enjoyable group is was! The Mudbug Stompers brought us the sounds of old-time jug bands, Dixieland jazz, blues, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils. Although this is a Nashville Band, we could have easy been on or around Bourbon Street in NOLA. I was particularly impressed with the trumpet player and the lead singer who played a mean mandolin. We ordered through DoorDash and saw an item listed for $6 that we understood to include beef, rice, and vegetables. It seemed like a great deal, so we ordered it as well as our regular sushi selection. When we arrived, we received our sushi, as well as our steak. But no rice or vegetables. We assumed part of the meal had been left out, so I went to ask if there had been a mistake. The cashier told me that the item did not come with rice or vegetables. I showed her the description from the online order, which clearly indicated otherwise, but she continued to insist that it did not include those items. I went back and told my friend, who then spoke with her and asked if we could at least purchase a side of fried rice and vegetables. Her response was that the next time we order that item, we should order something that comes with rice and vegetables. The frustrating part was that we only ordered it because the online description stated that it included those items. Instead of acknowledging the confusion or trying to resolve the issue, we felt dismissed. We enjoy coming here and have had many positive experiences in the past, but this situation was handled poorly.

Wheelchair accessibility: so right off the bat there's not a lot of great parking options and we did not see an accessible parking space close. There's a double door entrance, which is very tight and would be hard to navigate by a chair user on their own. Other than that this restaurant actually really wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the fact that the floors are super slippery and this I guess is for both chair users and ambulatory humans. It's just slippery. The bathrooms are fine. There's a nice accessible stall and everything was reachable and the door into the bathroom was really light. The height of the Hot pot table is actually the perfect height for a wheelchair user which is tricky at a lot of these different restaurants. So kudos to that.
