The parking lot was well tended and large sized (and felt safe and secure.) And parking IS FREE. Room - Our one-king bed room would have passed an Army drill sergeant's white-glove inspection. It was spacious and well-appointed. The fridge and microwave worked just as well as everything else in the room and on site. The hot breakfast - Are you kidding me? This was no ordinary morning motel breakfast (think of those nasty oatmeal spills and over-filled waffle makers.) No way! We're talking custom-made omelettes and breakfast burritos made fresh from scratch while you wait! (SEE MY PIX) But wait, there's more! You get a cappucino and latté machine, hot chocolate, juices, fruit, all the other classic favorites, too! And, yes, it came free with the room. Ease of access - You're in line of sight from the freeway, not a quarter mile away, but without any of that highway noise. Bottom Line Last? - YES, DO BOOK your stay here! Suggestion: If you want a cart you provide a $50 deposit (charged to your room) and if the cart is not returned in 30 minutes you lose the deposit. I should not have to make 8 trips back and forth at check-in AND check-out to shuttle my belongings from a full-size SUV packed for a 3 week roadtrip (everyone knows not to leave a single item in their vehicle overnight). The TV's built-in entertainment system was frustrating to navigate and outdated. I expect easy access to Netflix/Tubi/Prime Video in 2026. I was not given any info about WiFi and I could not find a WiFi signal. Parking is very limited and even more so when the hotel is hosting a party on their back lawn. If management would address some of the issues mentioned above this could be a 5 star Best Western Plus, it certainly has the potential.

Room had one bed and one bed with only headboard no frame or mattress. There was mouse crap in microwave and floor. Bed had no mattress cover and flimsy sheet that shows yellow stain on bed. Air conditioner broken and filthy and no TV remote. We were told they get stolen all the time. Chair had one arm and they had no replacements. We had 2 pillows total that were the size of a couch pillow and they hadn't any more. It was a sticky floor that you could see dried food. It was awful We posted this on their website but they took it down so you only see the nice reviews. There was no other rooms any where. We looked all direction at least 25 miles out and we already had another 2.5 hours of driving for a noon funeral. They said they'd give us a full refund and they charged us the full price instead. When we left in the morning the gal said don't worry we have your card and I know you're getting a free room. When we were charged my husband called and asked why we're weren't refunded and we he was told we'd have to speak to the manager. By the next day he hadn't called so my husband called again the next morning and then the manager returned our call. He called back stating we can't threatened his staff we tried to explain and he wouldn't let my husband speak he just kept talking over him and told us to never come back. He is a bully and wants it to go away. He says he's the manager ? Maybe owner?They are cheap and don't want to fix the mess and they want to bully their way out. The staff was a young woman who ran the front desk and cleaned rooms and even saw her fixing a questionable lock so people could get in their room. She was amazing and patient and the only nice thing in this whole transaction. Just don't go there we were moved to another room at 11ish. She worked hard cleaning it. No remote and sparsely furnish. But was cleaner. Halls had dust stacked thick on baseboards. I used to clean rooms and was a house cleaner for years. I know what should happen and it didn't happen here. For a suite, it could have been bigger. I liked the foyer area to put suitcases. I did not like that the shower wall was only halfway. It didn't have a door, so water would get everywhere. The shower floor was also stained with mold. It needed to be cleaned more thoroughly. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Location - coming from the freeway, they should open up a road to make it more accessible. It's stupid that you have to make a U-turn essentially.

While I write this review, I'll try to keep in mind the price to stay overnight at Legends was $99 compared to other beautiful casino resorts which start over $199. With that said, Legends has a great pool facility, with a mini water park feel, including a lazy river and slides. That is the highlight of the visit. The casino and the rooms were disappointing. Service at check-in and the players clubs was decent. But nothing personable or worth remembering. Just service without a smile. I played over $1,000 into 8-12 slot machines, and it only went down. Never did I get into a bonus, or feel like I was winning for a moment. This is a huge deal to me. I understand win vs loss, but I at least want to feel the thrill. Machines were tight, as well as QUIET and sticky. Back up at the room before 9pm, (soooo early and bummed), I took a shower. I was so itchy after the shower. The bathroom felt sooo dirty. The steam made the bathroom and room smell like mildew when wet. That is how i know it is very outdated, needing a major deep cleaning and updating. Might give Legends casino floor a second chance when in Yakima, but have zero desire to stay overnight again.

If you need a nice, clean and decently priced place to stay while you're driving through or staying in the area, it's an option, but just don't expect friendly service or anything but a dingy casino with just okay food at just okay prices that's populated by staff that's doesn't seem like they enjoy being in the hospitality business at all. To the management, you have a beautiful facility on the hotel side of the property! Why not match your beautiful property with the level of service and hospitality that the property deserves? It's consistently horrible and unpleasant service. There's consistent apathy, laziness and a clear lack of giving a dang about the guest's experience. This is not how to run a business. It's constant excuses and the same poor service and attitudes every single time we've given your property a chance. Sadly, we probably won't return and wouldn't reccomend staying here to anyone reading this.
