Paul was just the right driver/tour guide for us for our drive from Seville to Lisbon. His driving was impeccable as was his knowledge of the geography and history of the area. He dropped us off and gave us an idea of where we should go to experience the essence of the towns that we visited. We really enjoyed the small town of Zafra and found some shopping streets in the center of the old town. Merida had incredible ruins of Teatro Romano where gladiator fights were held and were just excavated 150 years ago. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of service we received from Day Trip. We had two Day Trip rides on August 31 from Athens to Lefkada and September 7 from Lefkada back to Athens. Both trips included stops at scenic sites in Greece. Both drivers were excellent and accommodating. However, we'd especially like to recognize Panos Peppas, who was our driver from Lefkada to Athens. Panos was incredibly nice & pleasant and delivered outstanding customer service, which included handling all of luggage, providing us with cold waters throughout the trip, providing us protein bars, providing us with printed materials on the Corinth Canal (one of scenic stops), looking up and providing us with terminal & gate info for our flight back home and providing us with a recipe for tzatziki. read more

While traveling in the Philippines I had some last minute changes in my travel and requested a driver from Cebu airport to Moalboal only hours before I needed the pickup from the airport. Even though Daytrip has the disclaimer that they need a longer window of time to arrange a driver, they were able to come through and connected me with someone. This was such a relief as I had been on a 14 hour bus / flight schedule. My flight details changed multiple times, but the Daytrip crew was patient and immediately responsive. I highly recommend!!! Beautiful air conditioned Mercedes van met us as we got our luggage in airport and drove us to steps of our hotel in old VA city within Sirmione. lots less complicated than train or flying to Verona than a cab. Used Daytrip to book a driver to take us from Granada to Seville, Spain. There were 3 couples and the trip was pretty economical. I booked for the wrong year- 2025 instead of 2024, but the Daytrip team was able to correct my error and schedule a driver at the last minute. The driver was very good and the van was clean and comfortable. He helped us get the luggage from the hotel to the car ( no mean feat on a narrow and hilly road). Daytrip is fabulous. We used them for 3 transfers during our recent trip to Europe. We traveled from Italy to Switzerland and on each transfer the driver arrived on time, was polite, extremely friendly, and helped us with all our luggage (which was a lot!). The drivers not once complained about our luggage, instead they eagerly helped us to load the bags in the van. And we were always given a cold bottle of water (which is nice to have for the ride). I had the pleasure of being the first customer of Daytrip and was impressed with their service. I serendipitously learned of Daytrip when trying to find an efficient way to get from Prague Airport to Český Krumlov and then from Český Krumlov to Vienna. The helpful folks at DayTrip responded to my request promptly and provided me with information to inform what stops I wanted to make along my journey. Because of the Daytrip's convenient and tailored service, I was able to fit in several additional sites and towns that I wouldn't have had time to see if I were going by shuttle, train, or bus. For instance, thanks to DayTrip's ability to customize my trip and to stop along the journey, I got to visit Karlštejn Castle, Melk Abbey, and other scenic towns along the way. Jan was my tour guide and driver. He was waiting for me at the airport when I arrived from the US. He was super knowledgable about the history of Czech Republic, Český Krumlov, and the region. As a Czech, he was able to share his observations and experiences about Czech Republic now and during Soviet rule. His insight and knowledge made this trip really worthwhile. Also, he was accommodating and polite and essentially all I had hoped my tour guide would be. I really appreciated Daytrip's door-to-door service as it saved me a lot of time, stress, and hassle in trying to find a transfer from the airport to buses to various sites and from towns to cities. The service Daytrip provides allowed me to see sites on my schedule and significantly reduced my stress of catching busses and trains. Great for pleasure but also good for #meeting transfer in Europe! We arrived in Prague with no idea how we would get to Vienna one week later. We found Daytrip on line a booked a transfer from Prague to Vienna with a local guide and stops at Lednice and Mikulov. We had two requests: English speaking driver and a car large enough to hold 2 large suitcases and 2 rather tall passengers. Since Daytrip was just starting up everything was confirmed via email (Tomas was wonderful!) and cash payment was required after the trip was completed. Lenka, our driver, arrived on time and we decided to change our itinerary. We only want to stop for a wine tasting. The tasting was paired with lunch; unfortunately, they didn't speak English. Lenka stayed with us during lunch and served as our translator. Lenka handled our requests with ease and grace. Not at all upset by the change or the fact that she had to translate for us. She was a pleasure and we learned a lot about local life from someone who grew up in Czech Republic. Once in Vienna we knew we needed to get to Budapest in a week. We considered taking the train but I knew we'd book with Daytrip again. We had been in Europe for two weeks and had done a bit of shopping so a car was necessary. So I contacted Daytrip again and booked a transfer from Vienna to Budapest with stop in Bratislava plus we make a request for antique shops. As luck with have it Lenka was our driver again. She arrived on time. Helped up find the shops. Translated and got us to a nice little lunch spot. Without question we will use Daytrip for our next trip to Europe! During our honeymoon, we hired the services of Daytrip from Prague to Vienna with stop in Kutna Hora and Konopistle castle. I researched all of our transportation options (rent a car, train, bus, etc) and Daytrip really was the best option. Not only was the best price once you add everything, but it was also the most convenient. Our driver Michal picked us from the hotel and he was so helpful and nice to talk to. I was feeling under the weather and he even offered to look for a pharmacy, which I thought it was so sweet and really going to extra mile in customer service. The car was clean, comfortable, and spacious and their driving was very good which made us feel safe to take a long nap even in the middle of a blizzard. On our way to Vienna it started snowing a lot, it was a full blizzard and Michal really made us feel safe and we could tell that he was very cautious at all times. One of my main concerns was safety, and we are from New York so we don't trust drivers at all, but I got to admit that they were very safety conscious, and I never felt that they were driving too fast or crazy. Also, I love going on road trips and the freedom of stopping along the way, but I hate that once you reach your next destination, is a hassle to park the car and worry about it being safe and all that. With Daytrip we had the benefits and freedom of going on a road trip without the worries or the outrages insurance fees that I hate when you rent a car! We were so happy with their services that we hired them again to go from Vienna to Budapest with a stop in Bratislava. This time our driver was Honza, and he was so much fun! My husband and he have the same type of humor so they couldn't stop talking the whole way (no nap for me this time lol). He was very knowable of Bratislava and even took us to one of his favorite restaurants to try local food. We had a blast and one the best thing was that he took many pictures of us, and after the trip we realized that those are the ONLY pictures that we have of us that are not selfies so extra points for that! A group of four of us went to Central/Eastern Europe this March. My husband and I needed to get from Vienna to Prague. We really wanted to see the Bone Church in Kunta Hora, so by using this service we were able to fit this stop in. I am so glad that we did! Our driver Milo did such a wonderful job. We were in no real rush to get to Prague, so we were able to take the "backroads" for a large portion of the drive. We loved seeing more of the gorgeous Czech countryside and small towns. We even had time to stop at an authentic small country Czech restaurant for lunch. My friend and I had the very good fortunate of traveling between Budapest and Prague using DayTrip Travel Guides in early October. At first my friend was skeptical of hiring a car; however, she soon realized it's the best way to make that trip for a variety of reasons, not the least of which the train takes almost 8 hours without interesting stops. We, on the other hand, in less time stopped in Bratislava, Slovakia, for a local lunch and tour of the old town. Later in the afternoon we visited the beautiful 13th century Kutna Hora Church in the Czech Republic. Our driver Jan frequently pointed out interesting sites along the way. Speaking of Jan, not only does he speak fluent English, but he readily shares his wealth of knowledge of the area. For my friend that trip ended up being the highlight of our eastern European trip. One more thing: I had given Daytrip the wrong date for the trip, which I happened to discover at 7:30 the night before we were supposed to really leave. Wow - what a great experience Day Trip was! I had my apprenhensions, since the company is fairly new but our trip turned out beyond everything we'd hoped for. Our driver was Jiri and he took us from Vienna to Krakow with stops in Czech and Slovakia. Despite an early morning pickup, he arrived early and was pleasant through the entire13 hour journey. When we told him things we were most interested in, he went above and beyond to provide recommendations and arrange stops that fit our interests, including a brewery in Czech. He was knowledgeable about all the sites and truly served as our personal tour guide and helping us make the most of our time in each city. In addition to the tourist spots, Jiri knew the best spots for locals and we loved the hidden gems he took us to that we otherwise would have never found. Furthermore, he was a great driver. We felt safe in his hands and he provided water and pillows in his car for our comfort since it was a long drive. He played pleasant music and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. Beyond all this, he did everything he could to make our visit the best it could be. When we ran out of Euros and needed to convert our American dollars, he offered to let us give him American money and he would pay for us in the local currency and deal with conversions himself to save us the inconvenience. If we needed a bathroom break, it was no problem. When the winery was closed for the day, he found an alternative. All in all, Jiri did whatever he could to make our experience great and we really appreciated that. We are so glad we decided to use Day Trip for our travel needs and will definitely be using it again next time we are in Europe. read more
