I've had a recurring issue with my car for the past 2 years, each time I've got it fixed only to come back up again a few months later. I've spent hundreds of dollars to keep fixing the issue. Stay Away!!! Took my Accord for a head gasket repair and they quoted me a price for that only. Never suggested me a new engine, just a water pump which i didn't take. My car has 111k miles when i brought it in and then just 8k miles later for the head gasket to fail. I took it back to them after they said it was probably my fuel injectors. Got the fuel injectors replaced at Honda under warranty. Just for them to tell me I need a new engine and the injectors were never replaced when they were. They don't keep their word, they will make up a story to cover their asses instead of being transparent. The cherry on top they will make you sign a quote for a "new engine" where it says nothing about a new engine and everything about the story they made up. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

My husband found Donny and Dawn years ago after our Honda extended warranty ran out. After that they cared for our Acura and today they continue to service my Acura. They only use genuine parts and are pretty accurate about how much time it will take to service or repair. They remind me when I last had a major serving so I can plan for my next one. I've been going here for about 2 years not any more until I decided to change my own oil and realize a lot of screws were missing. And even got my horn replace here. And im really disappointed I was checking out their work it was horrible not professionally done.. a whole bunch of snap on screws were missing on the bumper. Found my new go to mechanic! Brought in my 2000 Accord LX and got my timing belt, water pump, valve adjustment, and drive belt serviced. The price is reasonable and affordable, especially for all the services that comes with the package! The gaskets and seals were checked out and replaced as well because of wear and tear, after all services were performed and I got my car back they showed me each individual part they removed and replaced and showed me where the faults/damages were. Customer service is amazing and honest! Definitely recommend checking them out! All my services will now be performed with DC Imports, good bye expensive Honda dealership and unknown mechanic shops. I had another shop in town do the timing belt for my 2012 Honda Pilot. About a month after the service was done the engine developed a loud squeaking noise. DC was able to figure out that the previous shop didn't replace one of the idler pulleys that held tension on the timing belt. The kit came with a new idler pulley the previous shop just didn't replace it out of laziness. Dc just replaced the idler pulley, they could have charged me for a whole new timing belt job instead they were honest and fair! They saved me over $1,400 dollars by their honesty. Because my 2002 Toyota radio antenna was not working correctly, I called three local import repair services in order to compare their quotes. Only one called back with a quote within 20 minutes -- a very helpful person named John, at DC Import Service, Inc. Of the other two calls I made, one called back three days later with an extremely high quote, and the third never called back at all. So I made an appointment with DC and they fixed my antenna very quickly, but when I checked it before I left, there was a small problem -- the antenna motor was not up to par. The mechanic had checked, and it worked fine the first time, but not the next few times. The owners and mechanic worked hard to make it work efficiently, so that I would not have to buy a whole new motor, which would have cost $350/with labor. I so appreciate that this business worked so hard to save me that extra expense! Who does that these days? Kudos to the owners of DC Import Service and their efficient employees. By my measure, these are some of Manteca's finest people. read more

She took my name and number and told me she was going to pass along my info to John and that he call me back. Not sure what happened, but I never got that call back. This happened 2 1/2 weeks ago. I'm not one to chase someone for my business. I figured they have enough business so they don't need mine. Everyone at DC Import is awesome! When I moved to Manteca I needed to find a mechanic for my Acura so I gave DC a chance. Boy am I glad I did! They're reliable, fast, accommodating, and most of all HONEST! I was told by Big O I needed brakes, DC took a look and said I still had plenty of brakes left. And that was a year ago! When a splash guard fell off my car, I went to them to have it replaced. They told me they'd be happy to do it, but the piece was pricey and not necessary. I even heard them tell a college student once they wouldn't charge her for labor because she didn't have much money. What other mechanic would do that? They always get my repairs done fast and call me as soon as it's done. When I walk in, they even remember my name (and I haven't been there THAT often, I have a reliable 2007 Acura). Tried giving this place two chances since I heard they were supposed to be a good honest shop. Completely wrong. Brought my car for a knocking noise while turning steering wheel at low speeds and for the AC going out. Both times I got the run around and still have the same problems.
